I just watch all 10 episodes and I can say, I really enjoyed them. At the start, it took a while for me to get into it, as I was more concentrating on the world, instead of the plot itself, though that changed and really like the way the built the personalities.
Can recommend it to people ;)

It's a very compelling premise and I loved the book. Of course, by the tone of this trailer, it looks like the show will stray far from the source material and develop it's own stories, which isn't a bad thing. The book is way less revolutionary, and is more about the characters adjusting to the reality of occupation. I hope they retain as a theme the Japanese obsession with pre-war American artifacts...Anyway, the show looks cool!

It's kind of interesting to think of Japan as still being Imperial Japan. That should be interesting to see. I haven't read the novel, but I think it's an interesting concept of what could happen if a few little things were different in history. If the U.S. hadn't been successful in Normandy, if the Germans had been successful in Russia, etc. Although we've seen this concept before, most recently with the last Wolfenstein game, I think this will be an interesting series. I haven't seen much Amazon studios have done, but this seems pretty impressive.

I think that this series is going to be awesome. But of course no one can know what it would've been like had the Nazis won the war. We can't say whether it would've been better or worse, but since they lost the war, it makes perfect sense why the series will be based on a negative perspective :)

Just watched the first episode here and enjoyed it. Like the novel, this is a very dark and grim world, depicting an occupied America divided between Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan which are locked in a cold war against each other, and it's getting warmer and warmer by the minute due to imminent changes of leadership in Berlin brought on by Hitler's alleged advanced Parkinson's. I'm really curious how far they'll take this world (and deviate from Dick) as more episodes are released in November.

Ive watched 2 seasons so far and i have to say. I love alot about this serie but the plot armor of Juliana is just too thick , its kinda the same with frank but the concept of actions having reactions is atleast a little bit more apparent when it comes to his character. Its the only thing i dislike about the series because it kinda removes the thrill to whenever theres a "oooh shes in a picky one how will she handle this?" Since her plotarmor just removes any obstacle in her way.

Did he just say "I want my country back"? This is too eerie. Doesn't that mantra sound slightly familiar to anyone else? The writer was able to see splintered realities (possibly future events) and wrote about them frequently.

"the idea that japan and germany would still be allied after the war seems ridiculous"
+Heinz Erhard um actually not for long. it actually shows you in this pilot episode that many Nazis did not agree with the partition of the US with Japan. remember. much like Germany was partitioned between the East and West, in this alternate timeline, with the victory of the Axis powers, Germany and Japan had initially agreed to partition the US. but eventually many Nazis had started to go against Hitler's special treatment of the Japanese as they viewed Japan an inferior people. And with an old hitler ailing, a power struggle had emerged. the position where the Nazis were eventually going to go to war with Japan was gaining popularity as the Nazis were now finding a new leader to replace an old ailing hitler, and that they would prefer someone to throw Japan under the bus. and remember in this timeline, the Nazis invented the nuclear bomb first, they nuked a couple of American cities (which is why the US eventually surrendered and the American Nazi collaborators seized power. so basically most of the eastern part of the US became a Nazi satellite, governed by people who had sympathies & allegiance to the Nazi party). it was also implied in the show that the nazis invented jet-powered flight first & faster-than-sound travel (with the scene of the Nazi Concorde carrying a Nazi official who is sharing sensitive information to the Japanese officials). so basically, eventually as time goes on, as it was implied, Nazi Germany will go to war with Japan. in the book, from what i understand, the nazis were busy sending manned spacecraft and started to colonize the Moon, Mars and the entire solar system. take note, this is all happening in the 1960s.

I really hope this film doesn't demonize Japan and Germany as totally evil countries. After the war, Germany and Japan both progressed into two of the most peaceful countries of the developed world. Japan has fully acknowledged it's war crimes (except with china... strangely enough) and so has Germany. I think that this trailer's depiction of Germans and the Japanese sets back portrayals of those countries and country's people to the time of world war two.

Good point, but Japan also has not apologized, recognized, or even admitted the terrible war crimes its committed on South Korea.

Aditya C because given the chance to rule the world they would, only if they had the manpower and production capacity, they didn’t because we won and I have no remorse for them because we came out on top thank god

+Brian Griffin I have to agree with you there, I've started to watch some foreign shows recently and I've just been blown away how great some of the writing is, even it is a different language. Such as this show www.kinopoisk.ru/film/710853/
Though I certainly don't mind American television, I just think you have to watch through a lot of shit to find the good shows.
