you could even argue 13 and 14 when he was releasing singles for c5. what's funny about those years is that's when people really started hating on wayne yet everyone was bumping grinding, belive me, and loyal and everyone knew Wayne's verses

Jay has been consistent throughout his whole career it's past his prime yeah! because music has changed it's youth driven. thats all. not "way past" But the car to three was a classic and that's one of the best rap albums ever so I don't know if you're trying to say the carter 3 wasn't that good that album was amazing

Wayne was totally right when he said the Grammys will nominate him for everything possible but only give him Best Rap Album as a concession.
Tyler won "Best Urban Album" when he didn't qualify for mainstream categories when his album wasn't even a rap album, and told the press after the win what "urban" actually means.

TWO FUCKING HUNDRED. dudes a goat and deserves everything he has. he has worked so hard since he was 12 and spit bars for birdman and impressed him enough to get a record deal at that age and out under birdmans wing.

For the people, like DRiVASiAN, who don't know how the nomination process works, LISTEN UP. The Grammy eligibility calendar starts on Oct 1 and ends Sept 30 the next year, then winners are announced in Feb. So for 2009, albums that came out Oct 1 2007 - Sept 30 2008 were eligible and the award is given in Feb 2009. That's why it seems like albums from 2 years ago are getting Grammys. And Grammy Awards are based on quality, NOT based on Billboard, that is a completely different award.

The grammy's don't go by the fiscal year the grammys are open to nominations I believe from October to October. Kanye's album came out in 2010 November which means that it was eligible for the 2011 Grammys. Also that album deserved to win more than any other album nominated. In the past 10 years there hasn't been a better Hip-Hop album, or an album that swept Album of the Year recognitions from magazines. Kanye's album should have should have won Album of the year.
