Great work lads. Tom already looking in phenomenal shape scary to think that is a Heavyweight 11 weeks out of his fight with conditioning like that. Brilliant training room and the master Aspinall at the top of the tree dictating play. It's been an incredible journey thus far and will be an even better one at the top. Excited for a statement come July!

C'mon for real I like tommy it's real unfortunate what happen to the young fighter but he needs 2-3 elite HW before even smelling jones he is different once in every 100 years no one will dethrone him he retires with HW strap but let's go tom! I do think he will get the strap in a point in time

I think Jones is going to dip long before someone like Tom challenges for the title. If Jon beats Stipe, he's probably out of there. And from his perspective, it makes perfect sense. It just sucks for the fans.

Good to see you back Tom, hope the injuries fully healed. Nothing worse than a setback I broke my heel 11 months ago I still can't walk properly now but im training hard when I can.

As its difficult to get a sense of scale Tom looks like a bad ass middleweight, which is mental at the actual size his is! I think he's gonna steam roll the division.

I think Aspinall is the one of the most complete HW (in terms of skills) among with Miocic and Jones but Miocic is old and I'm not sure he'll be back like he was. Tom is the future champ

Hilariously I think most injuries in MMA occur in the gym, and during training for wrestling, this is how Ngannou hurt his leg also. I think wrestling and wrestling training really shortens guy's careers, apparently Luke Rockhold's legs are destroyed because of wrestling training, and that was bad for Luke as his kicks were his biggest weapon before his legs were all busted up from wrestling training.
I love even tho they're pushing the pace, they're still taking care of all their partners or opponents during sparring.

If tom's lightning speed he had at HW stays after the injury, I have full confidence he'll take the HW strap. If jones retires and doesn't want the smoke, then it'll be a couple years at most. I don't see Pavlovich, Gane, Blaydes or anyone else beating him if he's on top form and comfortable in there.

@ItsameAlex Jon idk, the wrestling and elbows are pretty scary, would be a crazy fight though. Sergei throws bombs, but I think Tom is faster and more technical. If he can avoid getting caught clean and either get the submission or piece him up on the outside.
@ItsameAlex i think he can stand with jones. he’s faster and quality accuracy and unlike cyril can grapple but sergei i find hard to see how the fight would go cos he’s a mondter

*Tom’s ground movement seems average.* He needs more wrestling.
This is my only concern for him besides if he lacks speed after the knee injury. His submission threat on the ground is really credible, but I think if he faces an elite wrestler, it might end up like Charles vs Islam. Someone like Jon Jones won't be afraid to go to ground with him and wrestle even with the sub threat. I'd say for the HW division he's def not average though.

Can't speak for either, but I know Tom had problems with the lack of heavyweight training partners, he spoke recently on the Believe You Me podcast about that holding him back.
