With the advertorial Apple shows, $3500 price seems to be justified. New teachnologies are pushed in this device. Might take another 5-10 years though until it reaches reasonable price for the majority. Bu I think Apple do it right with its natural hand interaction and eye tracking. For me, it looks like this headset will help bring spatial computing forward.
