@Synthmilk i saw a video once where that kind of plastic stopped up to a 44 mag. 5.56mm did not even crack it because it went right through the plastic so cleanly.
I feel like the OVE9000 from payday would be a perfect build for cracking all sorts of unbreakable boxes, maybe making a power saw designed to go through a variety of materials
You forgot to power the laptop on after getting it out of the box. Wasn’t that the whole point, that it can survive the torture? Otherwise great video!
The whole time I was just thinking “Use the damn power loader!” So when they finally did I was really happy… Until I saw a lack of results despite it being run over and used as a brick smashing tool.
I’ve done Dells tour of their rugged design and testing facilities and they let you throw laptops off ladders and hose them down with pressure washers and such. It’s pretty fun.
dang that was great. Though i was looking foward to seeing you turn on the laptop afterwards. also technacally the storngest shape is a trangle so i would think it would be the best to build a unbreakable box. Another suggestion would be to make it a sphere so the corners and enges wont be exploitable.
The problem with an "unbreakable box" with something like that inside is breaking the box without breaking the contents. There were a few moments at the end there when I was sure the laptop was toast, but somehow you missed it.
Literally no damage would be done to the box if they just used an angle grinder and a screwdriver. :/ There’s no problem, opening that box wouldn’t much… it’s just people milking idiotic content for money .
@sober667 would've been nice for them to be honest about that at the end e.g. "Now obviously it wasn't designed to survive what we just did to it, however.." and detail what it actually could survive...
@j Walster it wasnt doused in it - it has fair share of air around it wich is preety decend insulator so it got cold but def not THAT cold and policarbon is not best heat conductor nether
@KANAR TECH Rules of commecials: if it could turn on they would've shown it. If it can't just don't include the footage of you trying. Not that anyone buying this laptop would put it through something similar
I absolutely figured Liquid nitrogen would work on the box because things become far more brittle when frozen. In fact exposing the box to extreme temperatures on opposite ends could potentially damage the box just based on what that can do to an aluminum can. But yeah, freezing it and hitting it really hard just works.
@Michael I don’t think those were the wires I believe that they were some sort carrying strap or to put your arm through in case you let go f the handle so that it doesn’t fall
"This laptop is built to be extremely durable and we put it in an unbreakable box to show off that trait" "Hey man we can't do that it might break the laptop"
Not only did this box feel like a step down from their previous itteration they had to go easy on it to avoid damaging the laptop.... Doesn't really fare well for them.
The one thing I'm curious about here is, and this isn't a dig I'm genuinely wanting to learn, if he can't lift more than 20lbs due to surgery, how is he able to use what I'm assuming is a 70lb draw bow?
@BS sumukha internal damage exists tho. Just cuz it's in one piece doesn't necessarily mean the computer part of the laptop is scrapped. However, the box was made out of titanium and polycarbonate, so it might still actually work.
You guys should make the sledgehammer from red faction guerrilla. It has a mechanism inside that slides a weight forward at high speed on impact. I am curious if that kind of mechanism would work in real life. Thanks, JH
I just want to see the Master Chief's Rifle, because the Halo Builds are the most amazing ever. But I would love for you guys to actually build a Full Metal Gundam Armor, and than hydro dip in it some spray paint.
Brandon Herrera is your man for master chiefs rifle. Go ask him. He will probably make it if you ask nicely because it’s chambered in 7.62 just like his beloved AK’s
I love how you stand that box on end and knock it off the table instead of actually putting it in a position where all the forces of said weapon can go into the box. It's almost as if you didn't actually want to open the box.
I know this is more entertaining but in everyone of these unbreakable videos I want to see people use more conventional and effectively methods like angle grinders bandsaws and such
'Bogdon *grabs the lightsaber*. a modified glass blower. James: thats cheating of course that will get in Also james: "If I want someting done I gotta do it myself" *grabs an actual plasma cutter*
but the plasma cutter is way more precise than just melting off the whole side of PC. and they just got rid of the metal strips, the PC box was broken with LN2 and force.
These are my favorite type of sponsored video, where the product is integrated into the video rather than tacked on at the end. I imagine they cost more too :p
I want to see less smashing with heavy things (sure start there but not too much) and more creativity, like the liquid nitrogen and maybe using the pry bar more. Other than that great video.
Problem is it isn’t held down. When it gets hit off the table the energy is mainly kinetic, whereas when it’s hit on the floor or held down it’s absorbed by the box which can cause more stress and break easier
@Ψ Воинomme Im pretty sure that damn thing still works. It got frozen in a solid chunk of ice. Not as cold as liquid nitrogen sure. But, the polycarbonate probably protected it enough from the cold to work
@Anon Anon i assume they get it way cheaper than that bc they buy prob like 20 liters or something like that and probably have connections for it since they have a large platform
After seeing them make the Mandalorian Armor and The Iron Man Tech, I was wondering if they could try the Praetor suit from Doom. Its definitely not out of the question
I wonder if using a giant crowbar on the gap in the metal would work, and was unfortunate you didnt try the plasmasaber or use your high torque machines to their full potential
I wanna see them make the HF blade from metal gear rising revengeance, even if they couldn't get it to vibrate, they could probably get it to arc with electricity
I've had this idea for a while and I thought maybe it would be a cool video idea yeah but a sword sword that is essentially a working belt belt that when you activate something the individual sections with sections lock up into a real usable sworeal usable sword but when not in use it could be A regular looking built
i want hacksmith to make a battlebot for 2 reasons 1) seeing the team compete in a show that fits what they do on YT so well would be interesting, as well as making a series of how they came up with it and built it could get a lot of people into robot combat. 2) it'll be a fun new smashy toy
Has a whole team of engineers and spends the first 5 minutes trying to break polycarbonate with a sledgehammer. I guess if the video needs to be 10 minutes you can't just jump right in to the effective projects.
"come on, open the box it's not that hard!" Meanshile the box: P.S.: does the laptop boot? It looks intact but the circuitry could've been damaged from the liquid nitrogen
By the way you are absolutely amazing you are the best Clip-Sharer I have ever seen you’re the best Hacksmith. Your team is amazing thank you for posting such amazing videos.
I really liked this channel from a joined 18 months ago after linus helped them with a server, but since them they have listed the engineering/how-to focus. Every video over the last months seems like a long tik-tok video with minimal educational value.
the fact the axe did a good bit of damage and then they only use it once. also they didnt have it against a good and solid object for most. they were definitely holding back in the first because, then using mass distribution later to make it seem more durable than it is. the power loader on top isnt the same as the power loaders wait in a small spot.
sorry, left one of theose bits unfinished. ... "because" tehy were likely getting paid for it. of course with the plasma cutter they were getting used to the ideas and figured they wouldnt damage it much anyway.
It casually crushed those bricks with the box yet couldn't do anything to the box itself. But seeing how the bricks just crumbled made me appreciate how strong the power loader actually is.
Could you guys make the gun from the game Control? It has different forms on it to fight bad guys. Also you guys rock! I bet you guys could possibly build anything
This box is impressively durable, I wonder how certain firearms would do against it, like a .50 cal
Unfortunately Dell wants the laptop to be intact so Demolition Ranch was probably the first person marked off on their list lol
Sad they couldn’t use the lightsaber
@Synthmilk i saw a video once where that kind of plastic stopped up to a 44 mag. 5.56mm did not even crack it because it went right through the plastic so cleanly.
I can tell you. It would go straight through.
@ItZmrMaN35 the video could have been 2 mins long just a 50 cal shot done
I feel like the OVE9000 from payday would be a perfect build for cracking all sorts of unbreakable boxes, maybe making a power saw designed to go through a variety of materials
@Omega Riddler fair, that is a lot more sci fi of a project than the OVE9000
Sokol would have that box open much easier. He built a laser designed to break into safes.
I loved seeing all the cool weapons U guys have built over the years and it's not just engineering the editing is great as well
New to the channel, really hope beard man’s health gets in order, he’s a really good dude from what I’ve seen so far
I always love these videos, because everytime you can see that they have new stuff to break the box with and that they made progress.
You forgot to power the laptop on after getting it out of the box. Wasn’t that the whole point, that it can survive the torture? Otherwise great video!
They put liquid nitrogen on it the computer would have froze
@Jose Zuniga no, its because after opening it, it was probably broken so dell (the video sponsor) decided he can't show it.
@B.Banner_Hulk Yeah and since its a sponsored video he can't really show that.
ain't no laptop surviving the kind of abuse they did
Everyone wants to know
The whole time I was just thinking “Use the damn power loader!” So when they finally did I was really happy…
Until I saw a lack of results despite it being run over and used as a brick smashing tool.
I'd love to run into one of these challenges one day.
I’ve done Dells tour of their rugged design and testing facilities and they let you throw laptops off ladders and hose them down with pressure washers and such. It’s pretty fun.

Nokia phone are the real unbreakable box
Literally no damage would be done to the box if they just used an angle grinder and a screwdriver. :/

James: This laptop is unbreakable!
Also James: Woah, hold up there! This weapon might damage the laptop!
I absolutely figured Liquid nitrogen would work on the box because things become far more brittle when frozen. In fact exposing the box to extreme temperatures on opposite ends could potentially damage the box just based on what that can do to an aluminum can. But yeah, freezing it and hitting it really hard just works.
I've wanted to see if they could make projectile lightning through a heated Lazer since current can move through plasmas.
I love the fact that they could open it instantly, but they have fun with all of their gadgets.
But does the laptop still work that’s the real question
pretty sure this one was a dummy
@Michael I don’t think those were the wires I believe that they were some sort carrying strap or to put your arm through in case you let go f the handle so that it doesn’t fall
If it did, they would've shown it and it would've been a massive advertisement opportunity for Dell.
Yeah lol I mean they froze it below 290°c and smacked hammars on it lmao
It it does and it survives the Hacksmith, Dell is free to advertise it the way it is now, as it most definitely can survive anything.
"This laptop is built to be extremely durable and we put it in an unbreakable box to show off that trait"
"Hey man we can't do that it might break the laptop"

I love how they admit the lightsaber is cheating because it’s the most overpowered weapon they have 😆
I was waiting for you to try powering it up after all that abuse. :-)
@BS sumukha internal damage exists tho. Just cuz it's in one piece doesn't necessarily mean the computer part of the laptop is scrapped. However, the box was made out of titanium and polycarbonate, so it might still actually work.
If it meets IPC class 3 requirements, electronics should be completely fine. Imagine in rockets and aerospace in general there are waay higher forces
@Dobie Tanpaw d
@Tallboi Bruh
Imagine if we still used hard drives in laptops 💀
“Lightsaber is cheating” that thing must be pretty strong to cut though that box
James: "bogdan, that's cheating"
also James: * Puts it in an industrial press *
James: No Bogdan! The lightsaber is cheating
Also James: put it in a press
You guys should make the sledgehammer from red faction guerrilla.
It has a mechanism inside that slides a weight forward at high speed on impact. I am curious if that kind of mechanism would work in real life.
Thanks,
JH
I just want to see the Master Chief's Rifle, because the Halo Builds are the most amazing ever. But I would love for you guys to actually build a Full Metal Gundam Armor, and than hydro dip in it some spray paint.
Can you pls make doomguys supershotgun
Brandon Herrera is your man for master chiefs rifle. Go ask him. He will probably make it if you ask nicely because it’s chambered in 7.62 just like his beloved AK’s
Canada moment 😞
@MNDarkfire ! someone else already built a working rifle from halo.
I love how you stand that box on end and knock it off the table instead of actually putting it in a position where all the forces of said weapon can go into the box. It's almost as if you didn't actually want to open the box.
Real credit goes to the production made hammers and axes that survived their encounter with that box
Would have love to see a slip of paper inside.
"Sorry, your laptop is in another box."
I know this is more entertaining but in everyone of these unbreakable videos I want to see people use more conventional and effectively methods like angle grinders bandsaws and such
'Bogdon *grabs the lightsaber*. a modified glass blower.
James: thats cheating of course that will get in

@Crebs since ur pic is minecraft
"You cant break bedrock but when you do there is Nokia
Nokia phone are the real unbreakable box

Ive always wondered if you had a unbreakable box similar to here and over fill it with water without any space for the water to escape.
8:29 the Hacksmith: "This ia almost -300 fahrenheit."
People who use the metric system: "Alright, then. Keep your secrets."
I feel like someone needs to design a 2 foot by 2 foot solid steel rubrics cube for Bogdan to play with in the power loader...
@Wculp that's why it's a "steel" rubix cube.
Yes
It would be a good idea to make it out of something durable as well in case it gets… mishandled..
Rubik’s cube*
This!
First, the hacksmith industries built amazing weapons and now using them to break boxes 😂
The question is. Does the laptop still work after all that
One of these days the boxes will get tough enough that they're going to need to equip Stormbreaker to the Power loader and smash it
Problem is it isn’t held down. When it gets hit off the table the energy is mainly kinetic, whereas when it’s hit on the floor or held down it’s absorbed by the box which can cause more stress and break easier
James: no! it cant take the lightsaber.
Also him: put it liquid nitrogen.
@Kitt Oakheart yeah but…. Like that doesn’t count i guess.
@Thor's Gaming there's a computer inside. Did you watch the video?
@CyborgMike bruhhhh!!, that's not a computer, that's a unbreakable box
@Lim Kee Chee except that he smashed it with a hammer and open it with a plasma cutter
@Ψ Воинomme Im pretty sure that damn thing still works. It got frozen in a solid chunk of ice. Not as cold as liquid nitrogen sure. But, the polycarbonate probably protected it enough from the cold to work
James: lightasber is cheating
Also James: *uses hydraulic press, plasma cutter and liquid nitrogen*
You're a great man. I'm going to save the lives of millions with my technology.
the only thing that ever goes through my mind, other there than pure manic energy, when watching these is, "you guys oan an angle grinder, right."
Imagine ordering one of these online and its april fools and it comes packaged like this 😂
I don’t think people realize how truly expensive dipping that box in liquid nitrogen really was
@Anon Anon i assume they get it way cheaper than that bc they buy prob like 20 liters or something like that and probably have connections for it since they have a large platform
@Ghost Bird Lary if you have to buy it in small amounts, a liter costs about $80
how expensive?
Not very. Liquid nitrogen costs about $1 liter if you have the equipment.
You shields build a machine kind of like the power loader that can swing all your weapons with more force than anybody else
Lightsaber "Cheating"
Liquid Nitrogen "Not cheating"
I dont see how using LN aint cheating🤔
you guys inspire me to follow a path of design and engineering
you guys inspire me to follow a path of design and engineering
After seeing them make the Mandalorian Armor and The Iron Man Tech, I was wondering if they could try the Praetor suit from Doom. Its definitely not out of the question
Wait how about both doom slayer’s armor and his super shotgun
That and the rest of Master Chiefs armour would be awesome.
the classic doom armor would be good too. or armor from quake. tho most of gen z who prob watch these videos a lot definitely don't know what quake is
HOHO, time for The Only Thing They Fear Is You.
YEEEES I LOVE DOOM
I wonder if using a giant crowbar on the gap in the metal would work, and was unfortunate you didnt try the plasmasaber or use your high torque machines to their full potential
I wanna see them make the HF blade from metal gear rising revengeance, even if they couldn't get it to vibrate, they could probably get it to arc with electricity
I have been watching The HackSmith for years and I still cant figure out how many darn hammers they have!?
You gotta design a weapon specifically for breaking those indestructible boxes open
I've had this idea for a while and I thought maybe it would be a cool video idea yeah but a sword sword that is essentially a working belt belt that when you activate something the individual sections with sections lock up into a real usable sworeal usable sword but when not in use it could be A regular looking built
I feel like a splitting maul would have gotten a nice crack in it.
The moment when Charles first appears grabbing that hammer. Looked like a crazed psychopath.
I like these challenges, but I'm 100% sure they own a circular saw that could just cut the edges off the box xD
i want hacksmith to make a battlebot for 2 reasons
1) seeing the team compete in a show that fits what they do on YT so well would be interesting, as well as making a series of how they came up with it and built it could get a lot of people into robot combat.
2) it'll be a fun new smashy toy
@iye_Viking "Ten versus one? The odds are in our favor!"
They should just enter the power loader
The power loader reminds me those suits from Matrix, it just needs some high caliber guns.
You see the demonstration of the pc resisting any kind of damage, but at the same time you read that warranty doesn't cover any of those damages XD
0:28 This Shot from him on the Rooftop is such fire
„The lightsaber? No, that would be cheating.“
*proceeds to use powerloader*
you guys inspire me to follow a path of design and engineering
if they maybe hit it in the middle they might've had a chance, hitting it on the edge of the frame is depressingly hard.
seeing these episodes makes me want to come and build a super pick axe to really try to penetrate things like this....
i like to see you guys making another unbreakable box
Has a whole team of engineers and spends the first 5 minutes trying to break polycarbonate with a sledgehammer. I guess if the video needs to be 10 minutes you can't just jump right in to the effective projects.
The question is, did the laptop still work after that? If so, that's INCREDIBLY impressive.
Hacksmith: hardest breakable box yet
Justdustin: am I a joke to you?
Just dustin needs to bring an even more unbreakable box
"come on, open the box it's not that hard!"
Meanshile the box:
P.S.: does the laptop boot? It looks intact but the circuitry could've been damaged from the liquid nitrogen
I like how they barely use their own weapons and they just use pre-made store-bought things. 🤣
Hacksmith, I think it would be great if you create a series teaching us how you do engineering.

You guys are some of my heroes, keep up the good work!
I'd imagine breaking into an ATM is easier
You're the greatest inventor of our time.
That Ironman helmet scene was freaking awesome
I'm curious what the condition of the computer was after you got it out
Dell: So guys I want you people to break a box with our laptop in it to prove how rugged the laptop is...
have fun demolishing it
I knew that they were gonna make the light-saber cheating. That thing is too powerful.
Those laptops got a lot of abilities. 👍
The "unbreakable" box: They’re starting to break through and I can stop them
Nothing like a good unbreakable box episode to start the day! Excellent work
The hacksmith in 10 years: I built a portable machine that can stop time!
This is like the end of a prank war when your roommate encases your laptop.
Dell: This laptop is rated for 6 foot drops
Hacksmith: let's drop it off the roof
We gotta get this done this year.
With how slow the power loader appears I keep underestimating it’s strength
It’s it a glorified press it would be able to crush it I bet you
@Sebastian Jost a real testement to how strong that box was
It casually crushed those bricks with the box yet couldn't do anything to the box itself.
But seeing how the bricks just crumbled made me appreciate how strong the power loader actually is.
Contrary to Tanks, ofc.
That was a blooming great advert. Makes me want to buy one right now.
James, “I cannot lift more than 20 pounds because of my surgery” also James 9:05
Could you guys make the gun from the game Control? It has different forms on it to fight bad guys. Also you guys rock! I bet you guys could possibly build anything
Imagine every Dell shipped like that
7:20. We call this the Plainrock Method of scratch testing.
I’m happy to be subbed to the only people that have to hold back during unbreakable box challenges lol
Using the arrows made me think about Hawkeyes trick arrows from Marvel, that would be a nice different hacksmith project
