I would nominate Gholdengo. It's a Steel Ghost with very few weaknesses and is a special sweeper that is IMMUNE TO ALL STATUS MOVES. Now if you're willing to suffer evolving it from chest gimmieghoul, then you're rewarded with a high key strong contender. It even learns nasty plot to make itself even more threatening as stall status teams can't do much.
I do think it can be statused from secondary effects of moves, but it's nothing a Covert Cloak wouldn't fix. Just a really great pokemon to have for the team
OK but hear me out on this. Fire types 🔥 and ground, and ghost, and dark types. And bad speed and not amazing defenses. Yup, really busted and broken, right?
Only thing that sucks about this new gen is that most of the pokemon are either ghost, fire or ice types, my entire teqm is weak to ground and i only noticed later in the game (clodsire, ceruledge, skeledirge, tinkaton, baxcalibur, and paradox tyranitar). I love the new pokemon but all the ones i found interesting ended up all sharing the same types
Flamigo is definitely a stong single evo. I had a terrible one in terms of ivs, and it still was a star....along with skeledirge who also had bad ivs. There are a few mons that shouldve been mentioned, such as revavroom. Im planning to raise one, and I can't wait to bring out its potential
What I really hate with Toedscruel is its ability Mycelium Might, it causes every single status moves has the last priority but will be unaffected by abilities, so you'll definitely get outsped if you want to setup, wasting it's rather high speed and Spore (it's the fastest pokemon that can learn spore)
yeah I used one on my play through and it can definitely be a little annoying but it’s decently bulky and with giga drain it can get lost HP back in a hurry after you use spore
One detail I think that you have missed on Armarouge and Ceruledge is their defensive stats, Armarouge being physically tanky special attacker means that it can counter most of physical attackers in the game as they usually have low special defense, while you also have the option to counter physical attacker with high special defense such as Gallade since it has psyshock in its movepool, its special weakness can be negated by using mystical fire which lowers the enemy special attack, or simply use calm mind. Ceruledge on the other hand has better special defense, very good when it comes to abusing special attackers/tanks with low physical defense such as Gardevoire and Florges.
Houndstone and Gholdengo should have been on the list IMO. Houndstones Last respects is very nice when used as a last resort pokemon(providing they are not immune to ghost type attacks).
I've completed the grind for my first three members: Jolly Ceruledge, Impish Clodsire and Modest (Fire Tera) Masquerain. I'm loving the concept of adding a bulky Cetitan (252 HP, 252 SpD), but maybe I'll go with good ol' Gengar or Toadscruel as my fourth. This video gave me some ideas!
one of the most underrated pokemon which might just be better than every pokemon on this list which you missed is GLIMMORA I cannot stress on the fact that it was my team's absolute star - it is one of the best leads(hand over a focus sash for 4x ground weak) has great bulk and special attack stat rivalling the likes of gengar of all things . it is the hazards monster with stealth rock , grassy sheild , power gem and sludge wave as its best moveset with special attack evs
Same, was the star of my team as well! Lucked into one early on in a raid den (or whatever those are called this gen) and it is still with me in the post game. Bonus is it's ability that throws out toxic spikes whenever a move makes contact 👍🏻
Mobastiff, intimidate is kinda really good this gen, noticed a lot more physical that special attackers at least right now around level 40. It has been reliable and and a clean switch with a mono dark, making most switches at least neutral
Unfortunately Cetitan is a Glass Canon, I used him on my main team for the game and even in snow and having ice body. He'd always get one shot by fire types, and most fire types are faster. Ice spinner is an amazing move. Finally a really good physical ice type move that doesn't have 90 or less accuracy
I used Kilowattrel and it's very good because it is SO fast and has a massive special attack stat. It can one hit KO a lot of pokemon if you know your opponent has a high defense and low special defense. BUT my Kilowattrels defense stat and special defense stat are pure garbage. It is basically a glass canon, if it doesnt KO in one hit and gets hit itself it dies very quicky.
I'm running one too I got it with a Timid nature and Volt Absorb, I just maxed out speed and special attack moveset is Roost,Air Slash,Thunderbolt, Electro Ball with a Life Orb.
How about Lucario? With ice punch, close combat and bullet punch, it covers grass, flying, dragon, ground, dark, ice, normal, rock, steel and fairy. At the same time, it’s only weak to fairy, flying and psychic
Iron hands and tinkaton. mixed with belly drum and drain punch is like the biggest cheat code. You can win any tera raid and there’s essentially a one shot and kill any battle. Then tinkatons only true weakness is poison
Um, a few nominee. Tinkaton. Dragon/poison immunity, gigaton hammer. Great special defense. Glimmora, hazard setter, great special attack. Clodsire, tanky, unaware/water absorb. Espathra, speed boost/opportunist, great coverage
Bro u left a out a sleeper for sure maushold is probably number 5-4 on this list. Gets technition as his hidden ability. Spam population bomb. + Kings rock or wide lens I think it is to increase his accuracy and make it land 10 times 100% of the time.
With wide lens, there is a 100 percent with the first hit, 99 with the second and the rest I don't know. It gets 10x hits fairly regularly, o don't know the percentage but it feels like more than 50. I say this because there is a funny 1 percent chance of the attack to just hit two times. With wide lens that is
Tinkaton steal/ fairy I mean that typing is insane strong against dragon other fairy really really good for a lot of coverage good stats all around plus it's special move Gigaton Hammer
I'm convinced cereledge is a feminine and armorouge is masculine look at the chest pieces and meowscarada is a feminine starter but skeliderge is a masculine e fire croc lol interesting...and quackavel well...we don't speak on that
Could be a reference to the feminine and masculine ways of pronouncing words in the Spanish language hence why there’s two ones more masculine but they are fundamentally the same thing, at least in Ceruledge and armourogues cases
Another nominee is an endgame spoiler so do not read this if you need to finish this game still. The paradox pokemon Iron Hands. It naturally learns belly drum and has an astoundingly large attack stat already while also learning drain punch to recover the lost hp while being bulky all at once meaning it has a good chance of surviving long enough to do what it needs if not swept through immediately. Couple it with booster energy to bump its most prominent stat at battle start and you have a powerful fighter.
I got that toedscrool ina raid im like oh tenta...no no its not tf pokemon is this! Lol now that I kno its strong ima train it...and that charcadet apparently 👀 i had 0 idea these were so much stronger then I expected
@Sukuna might be boring but can’t ignore a steel fairy dual typing. A little confused on why you said it was boring accounting this video is titled overpowered Pokémon so you saying it’s boring means it’s making the game easy and that’s why the game would be considered “it’s boring”
@Kevin McKendree I absolutely acknowledge it’s power. When I refer to boring I am referring to the design of the character. I don’t like it. When you have dragons or other cute type Pokémon’s, why would you want a pink Smurf w a hammer? Obviously that’s my opinion. But I can’t play with a Pokémon thats gross
Stop lying to yourself. It's a regional form. Real life convergent species aren't carbon copies of each other, and even in the context of fiction it makes absolutely no sense for a mushroom to evolve to resemble a jellyfish that its never even seen before because it lives in an entirely separate ecosystem.
It makes more sense for a jellyfish to start walking and resembling a mushroom in its new environment. Gamefreak really tried to make regional forms and say "yeah guys this is a brand new never before seen pokemon, not the same at all"
And I think for my run of violet I'm only using new guys it's just there's too many good ones I can't decide which ones I want on my team can people help me? And for record I'm not using the dolphin I can't afford online so that's out of the question
Personally, I’d say defo have a garganacl as it’s a tank of a Pokémon, a Tinkaton is solid choice too, starter I’d go either fuecoco or sprigatito, and then the rest is upto u rlly but those three really are powerhouses
Both are solid Pokémon, and personally have used them but the goal of this specific video is accessible Pokémon from the beginning of your playthrough so trust me I do know what’s up and I’m new to content creation so the odd mistake is I’d hope is understandable.
I do think it can be statused from secondary effects of moves, but it's nothing a Covert Cloak wouldn't fix. Just a really great pokemon to have for the team
Gholdengo and Iron Hands! Both raid battle legends.
Good screw stall.
OK but hear me out on this. Fire types 🔥 and ground, and ghost, and dark types. And bad speed and not amazing defenses.
Yup, really busted and broken, right?
@Assordante it's immunity to status moves. Honestly I'm not even sure my go to tactic of Toxic Salazzle would work
Only thing that sucks about this new gen is that most of the pokemon are either ghost, fire or ice types, my entire teqm is weak to ground and i only noticed later in the game (clodsire, ceruledge, skeledirge, tinkaton, baxcalibur, and paradox tyranitar). I love the new pokemon but all the ones i found interesting ended up all sharing the same types
I noticed that as well.

yeah I used one on my play through and it can definitely be a little annoying but it’s decently bulky and with giga drain it can get lost HP back in a hurry after you use spore
it's balanced
And add Weak armor as a hidden ability, ceruledge becomes a sweeper after on physical attack
Ceruledge = Rabbid Edge + Pyrostar
Houndstone and Gholdengo should have been on the list IMO. Houndstones Last respects is very nice when used as a last resort pokemon(providing they are not immune to ghost type attacks).
I never understood on how they banned mons like Houndstone, just use a normal type 🤣
@Cammy cause people complain instead of adapting.
It's just a lazy gimmick with no real effort or thought behind the tactic. Makes the game less fun even if only 5% of matches involve it.
I’m glad I could help ya out!
Don't bother grinding for nature's, just buy the herbs from Chancies!
how do you weigh pokemon with different personalities
Tbh Armarouge and Ceruledge have horrid stats.
@barkley611 They're average, but Bitter Blade is a great move and the slightly boosted SpD is good for switch-ins.
one of the most underrated pokemon which might just be better than every pokemon on this list which you missed is GLIMMORA
I cannot stress on the fact that it was my team's absolute star - it is one of the best leads(hand over a focus sash for 4x ground weak) has great bulk and special attack stat rivalling the likes of gengar of all things . it is the hazards monster with stealth rock , grassy sheild , power gem and sludge wave as its best moveset with special attack evs
Thank you for sharing this with me I’ll have to give it a try in my own team!

Ice spinner is an amazing move. Finally a really good physical ice type move that doesn't have 90 or less accuracy
I dunno, maybe ask Grusha how his Cetitan can tank Fire moves
@Louise Barbosa that’s the thing, cetitan can have the thick fat ability which can half damage from ice and fire moves
Finally someone else who uses kilowattrell
I'm running one too I got it with a Timid nature and Volt Absorb, I just maxed out speed and special attack moveset is Roost,Air Slash,Thunderbolt, Electro Ball with a Life Orb.
@BaconEggsToast I used one too. Probably in my top 3 regional bird Pokémon
@Jeff Miles agree great bird!
Isn't Tinkaton a duel steel type? It's immune to poison 🤔
You can definitely get both cereledge and amorouge by doing online raids.
Didn't know that, thanks for the heads up!
@Tyler M no problem now go "catch em all". 😏
@joshua peden This is the first pokemon game I've ever actually tried to complete a pokedex on. Also the first one I've purchased since Crystal.
I’ve found the charcedet in the wild in violet
@Jinzo CODM yea you can find it but you can only get the armor exclusive to that game for its evolution, but you can get armorouge from online raids.
Um, a few nominee.
Tinkaton. Dragon/poison immunity, gigaton hammer. Great special defense.
Glimmora, hazard setter, great special attack.
Clodsire, tanky, unaware/water absorb.
Espathra, speed boost/opportunist, great coverage
All brilliant nominees, couldn’t agree more!
Flamigo destroys half the mentioned Pokemon in this list. Gholdengo is also an OP one.
Hi. You should probably include the stats in your videos for better understanding of your explanations.
Bro u left a out a sleeper for sure maushold is probably number 5-4 on this list. Gets technition as his hidden ability. Spam population bomb. + Kings rock or wide lens I think it is to increase his accuracy and make it land 10 times 100% of the time.
Ooooooo I totally forgot about this one!, excellent choice my guy thank you for reminding me : )
agency
With wide lens, there is a 100 percent with the first hit, 99 with the second and the rest I don't know.
It gets 10x hits fairly regularly, o don't know the percentage but it feels like more than 50.
I say this because there is a funny 1 percent chance of the attack to just hit two times. With wide lens that is
@vincentstriqe it’s not I’ve missed first hit with wide lens
How do you get the technician ability?
You can get cerledge and armor armorouge through terra raids in the portal
4:22 just find a weak normal type pokemon and spam rage fist no need to actually hit the move 20 times you only have to use it 20 times.
Thank you, this is the answer I've been waiting for. Lol
You can catch both charcadets evolutions in Tera raids I have both on violet
Tinkaton steal/ fairy I mean that typing is insane strong against dragon other fairy really really good for a lot of coverage good stats all around plus it's special move Gigaton Hammer
But it's stats are trash, and hear me out. Fire types.
@Assordante Gigaton Hammer is a ohko move. And if you know what you're doing you can use Tinkaton well.
I have most of the Pokémon mentioned on my team 😁
You forgot mausehold with population bomv and zoom lens it if you add technisian to it it will sweep everyone
I’ve seen people one shot 4 and 5 star raids with Azumarill.
The pawmi line is not really that great in my opinion, but I may not have used it correctly.
Gholdengo seems to be missing from your list.
Im playing Violet but idk how i manage to find armarouge 😅. I only own violet tho
My garganacl with sturdy and almost perfect iv goes crazy🤩
What is the 7 Pokémon you would suggest since there’s 10 and I’m doing scarlet
my cerulege is the highest attacker on my team still being like 4-6 levels behind everyone else on my team
Ecco should of replaced the duck as a water starter.
I think the pokemon's name is Salti" - "SaltStack" then "Gargasalt". I think the name is definitely punny
Yep. NaCl is just the chemical abbreviation for Sodium Chloride. Aka, table salt.
Good thing garganacl is in this list cuz i got a SHINEY full Evo garganacl
Wow I played the game for 5mins on kids account and surprisingly the only Pokémon I caught is number one on this list lol
Why does this gen have too many good Pokemon I can't decide
Gholdengo and Maushold. Trust me!
Lmao baxcaliber is so ez to get u just need to evolve the Pokémon before it, and it’s also ez to get it as a dark Tera type
I only have pokemon scarlet but i have ceruledge and its op
Another nominee is an endgame spoiler so do not read this if you need to finish this game still.
The paradox pokemon Iron Hands. It naturally learns belly drum and has an astoundingly large attack stat already while also learning drain punch to recover the lost hp while being bulky all at once meaning it has a good chance of surviving long enough to do what it needs if not swept through immediately. Couple it with booster energy to bump its most prominent stat at battle start and you have a powerful fighter.
Oh wow, that's such a hot take. It's not like everyone uses that thing in online raids. Such a hidden gem of a pokemon.
What about starters?Who is the best pick??
Personally I’d choose fuecoco
@Professor Tree Yup, they ate so gormless in the initial meet and greet, you simply have to pick them 🥰😆 No regrets!
I got that toedscrool ina raid im like oh tenta...no no its not tf pokemon is this! Lol now that I kno its strong ima train it...and that charcadet apparently 👀 i had 0 idea these were so much stronger then I expected
For me Skeledirge is good enough on everything i only level my starter Pokemon and the rest evolve go to the next one and so on
My girl Tinkaton aka Amy Rose should’ve been on this list
On god
Boring asf though
@Sukuna might be boring but can’t ignore a steel fairy dual typing. A little confused on why you said it was boring accounting this video is titled overpowered Pokémon so you saying it’s boring means it’s making the game easy and that’s why the game would be considered “it’s boring”

When you have dragons or other cute type Pokémon’s, why would you want a pink Smurf w a hammer? Obviously that’s my opinion. But I can’t play with a Pokémon thats gross
Go poppy
Include palafin in most overpowered pokemon
Toedscruel isn't a paldean form, rather a convergent species
Stop lying to yourself. It's a regional form. Real life convergent species aren't carbon copies of each other, and even in the context of fiction it makes absolutely no sense for a mushroom to evolve to resemble a jellyfish that its never even seen before because it lives in an entirely separate ecosystem.

@Barry D. Light Bro it's a game, if they say it's a convergent species then it's a convergent species
And I think for my run of violet I'm only using new guys it's just there's too many good ones I can't decide which ones I want on my team can people help me? And for record I'm not using the dolphin I can't afford online so that's out of the question

You can get the evolved form of the dolphin from higher star raids, so you'll still be able to give them a go later in the game 👍🏻
Glimmora n I don't like it but goldengo is kinda broken
Haxorus with outrage can 1 shot a elite 4 pokemon
A solid choice!
Don’t forget the mouse 😂😂😂
My ev trained Charizard one shots almost anything, rare cases two shot
Dont be sleepin on sharpness gallade
maybe only 4 of these could be considered "top 10"
Yeah kilowatrels typing alone should have grabbed your eye
How is Iron Hands not number 1 nor on this list.....shame
No Maushold or Hounstone?
I think this might be my team
Gholdengo
Iron hands
Slaking
Ting Lu
Baxcalibur
Anihilape
Goodra
Kingambit
Ceruledge
Palafin (hero)
ty
Jolly Dragonite
what is that gameplay at 3:50??
Houndstone is typing...
My level 80 skeledirge ran through all elite 4 and champion
Braxcalibur: Aka, Godzilla
I think tumbleweed is the strongest mmmhmm
What's that web Pokémon game called?
Pokemon Showdown its an online game
PEOPLE THE SALT POKÉMONS NAME IS SALTY NaCli (salt)i
These new designs look like a mash up of Digimon & Minecraft smh
Im gonna add a comment on Mumbo Jumbo's channel linking yours. More people need to see your channel XD.

This guy said Pawmot 🙄
Got a question what game am I seeing at time stamp 6:21 i
Pokémon showdown
@Professor Tree Thanks!
I only have violet but some how I was able to find a armaruge sorry for bad spelling
I was later informed that you can get both in either game though raids
Hey look a Minecraft pokemon!
Sheesh!!!
Didn't even mention houndstone or gholdengo. I guess that's a signal to just never watch more videos because you clearly don't know what's up lol
Both are solid Pokémon, and personally have used them but the goal of this specific video is accessible Pokémon from the beginning of your playthrough so trust me I do know what’s up and I’m new to content creation so the odd mistake is I’d hope is understandable.
Be nice!
0:34 "terrasstulizing
He’s British lol, that’s how they pronounce it no need to be rude bro
Background music xshot?
the worst like bru seriously 😂
Typing....
1:46 those are not pokemon look more like Digimon. This is why I stopped playing after black & white 2
Chen poi
