Dude 250 million views now.

8 years on and still phenomenal.
yup
9 years today
And ever will
❤️
Confirmo
I don’t think people realize how incredible this is…this is something that will be looked back on in hundreds of years and will still be spoken about.
It definitely isn't
so i saw this for the first time when i was like 6 years old. i told my mom im gonna do that one day. and i will be playing this arrangement for my senior year spring orchestra concert. 12 years later. full circle
The song came out *9 years* ago. You were a member of their channel that you heard 3 years before others? 😂
@rea To inspire and energize people like that , you have to be really exceptional
what I meant was it's been 12 years since I was first inspired by them :)
This comment put me into a suspended state of yee ha for a week
You couldn’t have SEEN it 12 years ago.
If this was a movie , I'd watch it 10 times over again and again. This is so good!!
only 10?
Like a Knights Tale, one foot in the past and one in the present
Watch the devil's violinist!
I have😊
I alredy do that with this and movies
I love the fact that the audience is like, "We can't throw tomatoes at them because they didn't do bad but we didn't like what they played so we're just gonna sit here and stare at them."
@Smokers section 〈(^.^)〉Why that's some free education right there
@Smokers section 〈(^.^)〉 No that's actually interesting. I never knew that. I guess we are all smarter every day.
@Kim Tyler that man was serious when he replied to you with that 😅 I wouldn't engage
@Timo Jarun oh. That's... interesting to say the least.
At the time tomatoes were still exotic newcomer across the ocean and it wasn’t known to the most of Europeans.
I can't believe how many centuries have passed and this video is still so good
@Antonio Medrano there's always one
😅👍
@Antonio Medrano mind blown
@Antonio Medrano ac/dc came out in 1710?
This is an insane level of talent :) also love the effort gone into costuming and the reactions of the crowd :) doesn't hurt the players are easy on the eye :)
Please they're a couple of drama queens, if they were actors they'd be known as hams. I think it's kind of odd how they squeeze their cellos between their knees, I've never noticed that with other cello players?
Like Paganini's concert
(P.S. I just wish they'd gone for a real brocade for the coat on the musician seated on the right! That blue-spotted poly-whatever material was definitely starting to give up the ghost along its seams under that level of enthusiastic playing! 🙈 You can see it starting to pull apart all along the back seam...)
Every time I rewatch, I'm impressed by the level of effort that seems to have gone into the costuming, including for the 2Cellos guys themselves! Given how close the camera gets, that was a really good investment...? Just wish we could've seen them starting out in the correct pomaded & powdered hair as well, would've been fun to see the loose powder start to fly as they commenced headbanging! 😂
For anybody wondering the piece at the beginning was Vivaldi’s e minor cello sonata 2nd movement
THANKS
I'm just gonna say, these two are the most metal cellos will EVER get. From like the very first chord. fight me on it.
The two of them, are creating this wonderful sound that is so hard and so pure. Honestly, please never stop. your music has given me so much, just life.
This short video is my favorite for years. So Humorous, so creative and filled with youthful rebellion energy. Every time come here I can not help smile and laugh. These two talented beautiful young men are godsend. They are apart the band this year to pursue their own interests in music and life. I wish them good Luck and success in their further endeavors.
Never get tired of hearing this version of Thunderstruck. It is just so vibrant.
Just imagine, it’s 1824, you go to a theater and you see these 2 guys, thinking “oh this is gonna be a good one” then, all of a sudden, they make hardest cello shred in the history of humanity, and you were there to witness it
@O O you don't have to be a woman to be accused of being a witch haha
More like 1724.
I would love it
*May 5, 1789. Best mosh pit of my life, no beer though. That's how the Revolution started 👴
@Mememan 897 they were summoning the DEVIL!!!
Seeing this I can't help but think of the late Hugh McDowell, a cellist for the Electric Light Orchestra. His rock & roll approach to his instrument, coupled with his strong classical background made for one heck of a show. I'm sure he inspired many young cellists back in the 70's. Great job, guys. That was a treat.
Google , please translate , for my - English!!!! - to Russia. Извините за мой плохой английский .
Потрясающе!
To be honest. I just love it. As a kid I always wanted to play a violin but never fulfilled it. Now that I'm older I think I will chose a cello over a violin and any other instrument there is. Because this is another whole level. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep it going❤️
Jesus loves you and is here for you. 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.' Proverbs 3:5-6 💙✨
These two are absolutely phenomenal.. love this.
Still get goosebumps of this day!!!❤😭😮💨🔥
*When you're into rock but your parents buy you a cello*
@Stormrider basses tuned an octave below: ???
I play the violin
Touché
Apocalyptica enters chat

это не музыка, это исповедь души, спасибо
After nine years it's still being listened to and I won't stop listening to it because it's great
I finally found this video!! My music teacher showed this I loved it and NOW I HAVE FOUND IT
The first rock concert was born love it
vivaldi was metal
@Phelps DW
Vivaldi's The four seasons: Spring
pls could you tell me what is the song at beginning? 0:00
Браво!!! Очень таланливо! Талант наднационален и радует независимо от принадлежности к странам, конфессиям и пр.
10 MILLION THANKS FOR 10 MILLION VIEWS!!! :-)
2CELLOS - Thunderstruck [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

cellos
Chelo?
Bow instruments are some of the coolest sounding instruments when high proficiency is reached. Love it
Это Божественно!
9 years later and that drop in to thunderstruck still slaps.
Insane version. I loved it❤💪👏👏👏👏
o que eu posso dizer? Simplesmente... FODA
OMG 3 MILLION!!! It's unreal, this video gets more than 1 million views per day... We don't know what to say but Thank You!!!
2CELLOS - Thunderstruck [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
2CELLOS has no
2CELLOS no
2CELLOS hasno
2CELLOS no
4 Million now :,v
This is the kind of song that people go to war to. The cellos honestly project a much fiercer and angrier sound than electric guitar, perfectly matching the theme of the song's epicness.
😃 Rapaz, o que é isso!! Nunca vi uma performance dessas! Muito boa e divertida!👏👏😄
I am quite sure l have never seen any musicians work any harder than these guys!!!
🔥🥵🔥🥴🔥🥵🔥
Essa arte musical é muito bom 👍
Hauser rocks! What a virtuoso he can do ANYTHING with his cello! He loves theatrical performances! What most don’t realize is that it takes incredible mastery to do that!
This looks like a perfect premise for a movie. Modern band gets sent back in time to classical baroque period and converts modern hits into classical music.
Sounds like Vivaldi
I think of Mozart
That sounds sort of like "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure," if the tile characters were studying Music Appreciation instead of History.
@Jar Jar Sphinx The once and future king Twilight Zone season 2
Jeff Yagher plays the Elvis Impersonator (and later Elvis)
@River_Of_Styx EXCELLENT!!!!!!
as a violist, I can confirm this is what the cello section does at warmups
Вся их творческая жизнь вызывает бурю восторга!!!!!👏👏❤️❤️
Sensacional a música e muito top a dupla.
Вау ..........это нечто столько эмоций ......такая мощь......
Uma palavra define ! Perfeito !
I'm a huge AC/DC fan and this cover is awesome and it slaps hard.
@Mohd Zafar I love ACDC but the only Metalica I ever loved was " APOCALYPTICA" 💥🧨🌟❤
I held my breath until I couldn’t. What sheer brilliance!
Davie would be proud #504
@Hard rock fan 107 Cool fact, he has the same birthday as me
Nunca vou me cansar de assistir
Вот бы вживую это послушать!!!
Это что-то невероятное! Мощная энергетика,супер!
Perfeitos 😍❤️
This is the right amount of love for AC/DC! Well done!
Hats off to the actors that played the audience! How they pretended NOT to enjoy this epic performance shows good acting ability.
@David Boyd Ok folks, I think we have our first time traveller from that time period ... your real name is Johannes Titor, isn't it?
It was pretty awesome, but what the audience heard and what we heard in the video were not the same. This video was mixed as stated in the description. You can really see it at 2:31.
@David Boyd music is just that. Noise. Its humans who sculpt that noise into music. However, if you don't like this music, then just simply switch to something you do like. Don't complain about it
@Dangerous Christian Warrior qps
But at the end all the kids should have stood up and screamed yeah!!!!!!!!!!-
Aqui esta o comentário brasileiro!
Otimo vodeo ótimos instrumentistas 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
No me canso de verlos . Fantasticos
Queria ter participado dessa obra de arte🍷🗿
imagine being the actors playing the audience having to pretend to dislike this marvelous musical chaos in front of them ❤️
I saw it for the first time today and this is the first video that made me immediately cry from happiness
When you like classic but you love rock
When you like Classic and rock you listen to Shostakovich
I AM LIKE THOSE GUYS!! I FEEL SO IDENTIFICATED WITH YOUR COMMENT
Freddy Falzon classic/rock
Ikr
Какая экспрессия, узнаю хард-рок, композиции АС/ДС, браво!
Still loving this years later.
It’s tradition to come back to this masterpiece every once in a while
I've had the pleasure of seeing them live. And I've been to over 50 concerts in my life. Hands down the best one I've ever seen
Truly breathtakingly awesome!! I discovered you two years ago and I still can't make it more than a few days without your music blasting on my speakers while I watch my neighbors pass by either infectiously interested or completely confused. I love you guys!!
I never thought I’d see a headbanging cellist writhe around on the floor while aggressively playing AC/DC for an audience of people from the 1700’s and now that I have my life feels complete.
same here Scarlet! complete
They crushed it🥳🥳
Ja,der ist gut.
Hahaha
Isso sim é arte, em um mundo tão caótico hj em dia isso é fino senhores🍷🗿
8 years later and I’m still obsessed with this 😊
Still such a banger, still to this day when I think of this song I think of this cover!!
These guys rock!
This will never not be one of the greatest videos on the internet
These guys are like the ultimate form of being classically trained but the teachers never let them have any fun
@Stephen Murphy
Haha yeah and the cellos were smashed.
When the teacher leaves the room.
Let the music flow through those Cello's
that's 100% true xD
@Selin Comert No it's not. Dream has a check by his name to show he's the real account.
instrumental
Был на их выступлении, парни очень классно играют
No me canso de verlos a lo largo de los años....
Lets take a moment and appreciate how they built a time machine to go back in time to play this song.
Time machine
2CELLOS - Whole Lotta Love vs. Beethoven 5th Symphony
This makes me want to learn to play cello not for classical music, but for rock and metal
Je découvre vos vidéo et j'adore 😊
Quand j'ai vu celle ci, je me suis dit "non!?😳 Ils ont osé ! Du hard rock version violoncelle ? " 😱
Votre reprise est géniale😍
Je serais là extrêmement curieuse de savoir ce que ACDC pense de votre version 😉
As someone learning cello for 5 years. Motivation level went up by 1000 but my self-esteem walked out the door.
Believe me, any imminently morbidly obese person might think the same sort of thing by simply getting down on the apartment floor whilst watching really good Dabke videos from the Levant,
For example.
Once I drop 100 pounds, I'll be good to go.
🤪🤪🤪
@Rucksack Ransack as a cellist I can tell you that they are definitely not playing....
I plag guitar, and my self-esteem also walked out of the door
yes
@Someone they are playing in the video. It’s the remix that has the two extra parts.
Bravoooo….Xapooo…. 🎉❤❤… dos genios artistas musicales. Esta gente si se merece sueldos de futbolistas, que barbaridad. Gracias por compartir
This is the most amazing video ever. U2 are unbelievable and I just can’t stop watching this video over and over again.❤
I always come here when I need to hear something relaxing 😀
I love classical music....
I love Rock N Roll....
I love these guys!!!!!!!!!!!
Hands down, one of the most chilling yet satisfying covers I've ever heard.
WOW, 2 MILLION Views! Thank You all, we Love You so much!!! :-)
2CELLOS - Thunderstruck [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
How about 142 million?
Add 140mill to that 😂😂
This is exceptional! I was gripped! 😊😊😊
128 Million now. Hope you both are still rocking it.
You mean 122 million
God, this is marvelous. If everything else in my life fails and abandons me, I will still have this music to keep me alive. ❤️
This was absolutely amazing to watch.. loved every second of it.. great job
A cello by its self can be the whole orchestra
Absolutely astonishing 🎉
On espère tous aller a un concert de classique pour entendre ça
when their tempo is actually FASTER than the original
@Sirena Spades nice
@Aiman Hafeez I saw it live 1990
@Nikola Lazarevic Rushing or Dragging?
wkwk
Can you get tennis elbow from playing a cello? It looks strenuous.
De lo mejor que escuche cuando tenia 13, 14 años!
You know you're on the next level when your biggest challenge as a musician isn't mastering the piece but to get your bow to last through one song.
Épico 🇧🇷
Holy crap this is absolutely amazing you guys killed it I've never heard it done this way before but my my I could listen to you guys play 24 7 and I don't care who you are you truly have to respect this super good job please make more.
Me encanta
Imagine if this song was played in the actual time era, history would never be the same XD
I know Schostakovitch and Stravinsky were both accused of that, but they are from the 1930s, not victorian era.
Actual high tsmpo discordant minor key music from the classical era I dont know of any. Vivaldi composed some, but he was renessaince.
@Wikan Saktianto ahhh i see
a Genshin reference.
@Wikan Saktianto m.. nñ
Imagine the world we be in if we didnt kill of the smart people during that time too
Sou louco pra aprender tocar esse instrumento, e tocar essa músicas. Delicia de ouvir.
Потрясающе.
Ovo je fantastično
I knew that this was gonna be fire as soon as I heard 1:35 😌
No matter how many times I see this video I am in awe!! Absolutely brilliant. I think you are the best in the world. 😁💜💜💜
Someone needs to make a movie about these two guys going back in time and introducing rock music 400 years too early.
@Evan Weaver teşekkür ederim/thank you :)
*Beethoven and Mozart would be in Mind-blowing state*
@Pink Blob 😐 okay and
Every few months it does my body good to come back to this video.
Soy de costa rica.. Gracias gracias por ser tan creativos y darle la vuelta a la música..
👏👏👏
Amazing sound!
