Daemon Targaryne is already iconic character and one of fan favorites. Complex and chaotic but intriguing and fascinating character. Matt Smith did so well portraying him, voice tone, body language, facial expressions, eyes, the way he delivered lines.

well as much as i love kit harrington's acting and think jon snow was an iconic character, Daemon targaryen is in a league of his own. the character itself is very well written and matt has been doing an excellent job to portray him, he is successful in not making daemon jon snow 2.0 but rather a new entity of his own

He’s such an incredible actor!! He demands your attention in every scene! I hope he gets bigger movie roles in the future!
Honestly as the last person said you should give GOT a try after this it’s so good, ignoring the last season which was actually great just not great in comparison with the other seasons, the series is beautiful
You should watch GoT. One of the best shows ever made. I don’t care what people say about the end. Even though it was a bit fumbled and rushed it’s still an absolute epic and 100% an amazing ride. Any real fan would tell you it’s worth every second.

Matt Smith is a great actor. But I wasn’t 100% sold on him being Daemon when he was first cast, but it is now clear that he was the perfect choice. Hopefully he starts getting casted in some amazing movies from now and he wins some well deserved awards.

He and Ali Plumb, besides looking quite similar lol have a really natural, laid-back, down-to-earth style about them, that has a great ice breaking effect, when talking to even the most famous, (or sometimes infamous,) people. The celebrities seem to actually enjoy them, in what I can only imagine can become rather grinding press junket days, promoting whatever work at the time. Which makes it that much more entertaining to watch. 👍 As opposed to what some interviewers do, resorting to cringey games, or asking the _same_ questions we've all already seen them answer a thousand times in interviews

Yes!! Every TV show he has done is Amazing! But sadly the films I have seen of his end up being quite poor although saying that I did enjoy Pride and Prejudice the zombie one he was in with Lily James and really liked Last Night in Soho mostly because I love Edgar Wrights films but also the Psychological thriller genre is very interesting to me. The Terminator film he did with Emilia Clarke was alright but i still enjoyed it as I loved those films growing up.
I love the thought put into the filming of these, rather than cutting back and forth you are provided a dedicated feed to each participant. At first I thought the black line in the middle insinuate it is a remote interview, but at about 0:27 in Matt kicks his foot out and fixes a cuff and you see his hand and foot on Josh's side of the screen, and at 26:27 they bro-shake. As well thought out as the questions, well done!
There’s one thing that ALL the movie stars/actors are not that Matt is…Daemon Targaryen. I can’t see anyone touching his performance. It is mic drop worthy. This is his moment and it is glorious!!

Matt Daemon Targaryen :) Became an icon of HOTD right in the first episode. Also Graham McTavish is a great actor, his Dougal MacKenzie in Outlander is unforgettable, I wish he had a larger role in HOTD.

I was doubting Matt at First for Daemon...but OMG is He PERFECT!!! He had a Heath Ledger as Joker Effect on me, which i doubted in this Role at first too. But they blew me away! Matt is Daemon and NOBODY could be a better one! And Matt seems such a cute, likeable Person, what makes it even more a pleasure to watch him. 😍

If there ever is a possibility of Matt playing Joker, SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!! 😭 I mean Heath Ledger's Joker is the best I've seen, but I think Matt can top that and become LEGENDARY. 😏 None of the Joker portrayals really gave me chills like Joker is supposed to, but seeing Matt as Jack, as Milo and as Daemon I feel he can pull that off excellently.

Tbh I think that scene direction was funny and distracting for the whole movie. Reading that part in the script was good but on screen it felt so random. And we already have some depth into Harry's personality so I'm glad Martin McDonagh cut it. Anyway, when Matt talked about it (on an interview/ late night show I can't remember), he sounded so proud of it and that makes me feel bad 😭

It's not true that his best work is when he doesn't talk because his voice is mesmerizing. While sitting on the dais at Comic Con he flirtingly spoke to a fan and just oozed charm. Of his coworkers on stage, I Mostly noticed Milly, Emily and Steve's reactions to that display. They looked like they were fighting hard to suppress knowing laughter. They'd obviously seen it before and seemed to be thinking, "There's Matt shamelessly turning on the charm again."

Matt Daemon Targaryen :) Became an icon of HOTD right in the first episode. Also Graham McTavish is a great actor, his Dougal MacKenzie in Outlander is unforgettable, I wish he had a larger role in HOTD.

I was doubting Matt at First for Daemon...but OMG is He PERFECT!!! He had a Heath Ledger as Joker Effect on me, which i doubted in this Role at first too. But they blew me away! Matt is Daemon and NOBODY could be a better one! And Matt seems such a cute, likeable Person, what makes it even more a pleasure to watch him. 😍
Someone please put Keanu and Matt in a movie together… like a Bill & Ted Doctor Who crossover? 🤣 Also I see both of these incredibly talented actors as also awesome human beings, I think they’d be amazing onscreen together.

He may not have had the screen time Paddy Considine has had, but he delivered an excellent and memorable performance as this character....
His version is as iconic as the character from the book, and imo it's the most realized version of the character....

None of the Joker portrayals really gave me chills like Joker is supposed to, but seeing Matt as Jack, as Milo and as Daemon I feel he can pull that off excellently.

Tbh I think that scene direction was funny and distracting for the whole movie. Reading that part in the script was good but on screen it felt so random. And we already have some depth into Harry's personality so I'm glad Martin McDonagh cut it.
Anyway, when Matt talked about it (on an interview/ late night show I can't remember), he sounded so proud of it and that makes me feel bad 😭
I totally agree .. thinking about the actual legacy GoT achieved it's definitely a huge pressure on all the actors in the upcoming many derived series to work even double hard to reach a "good" level for freaks to stop comparing and saying it's a "good" show and respect their hard working

It's not true that his best work is when he doesn't talk because his voice is mesmerizing. While sitting on the dais at Comic Con he flirtingly spoke to a fan and just oozed charm.
Of his coworkers on stage, I Mostly noticed Milly, Emily and Steve's reactions to that display. They looked like they were fighting hard to suppress knowing laughter. They'd obviously seen it before and seemed to be thinking, "There's Matt shamelessly turning on the charm again."
He sounds like Ramsey Bolton when he talks 😅
I'm baffled, but I actually did not live Matt Smith at all, and now his portayel of Daemon is sooo good that Matt has def become like a fav actor for me.

I had no idea Matt Smith auditioned for Watson....it makes so much sense that they thought he'd be better as Sherlock. The Doctor is like a more likeable, whimsical scifi/fantasy Sherlock Holmes.

I would love to have a conversation with Matt, so much fun and fab actor, also so sexy. Never seen it before but since Daemon. Loving him. Haha. Loved him in The Crown and HOTD.
