'They started the war' - Putin's annual address to the nation

  • Published on Feb 20, 2023 veröffentlicht
  • Vladimir Putin has blamed the West for starting the war in Ukraine and claimed Russia responded with force "in order to stop it".
    In a speech describing his aims for the second year of his invasion of Ukraine, the Russian president said Ukraine was in talks with the West about weapons before Russia invaded its neighbour on 24 February last year.

    FYI - Audio begins at 4:44. The first 40 minutes of the speech are especially pertinent for Western audiences interested in hearing Putin's side regarding the war in Ukraine. After that, the speech is more like a "state of the union (motherland)" speech.

    I entered "Putin full speech" into Clip-Share and all that comes up is corporate mainstream media videos of it.

    The most important of Putin's instructions to the Federal Assembly:
    - to establish for fighters a vacation of at least 14 days every six months, excluding travel time;
    - the level of equipping the nuclear deterrence forces with the latest weapons is 91.3%, it is necessary to reach this level in all areas of the armed forces;
    - each family of a person who died during a special operation or a veteran of the Northern Military District must be assigned a personal social worker;
    - The Ministry of Defense and Rosatom should be ready to conduct nuclear weapons tests if the United States does so. We will not be the first to do this;
    - to immediately begin construction of housing for defense industry employees and launch a program of preferential rent at a rate below the market;
    - it is necessary to remove any interdepartmental formalities, omissions and other nonsense in order to develop the economy, it is also necessary to create additional conditions for citizens to invest money, earning money within the country, while it is important to protect these investments;
    - to continue the development of regional projects, including the construction of roads, highways, free gasification and the development of trade routes;
    - to reform the system of higher education.

      Mr. PUTIN is a great statesman, may God give him good health and bless the Russian nation! LONG LIVE RUSSIA AND THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE

    • hentai senpai
      hentai senpai 2 months ago +8

      Putin babbles nonsense, "the west propvoked and attacked russia" yet the west didn't want to support Ukraine in Donbass, the west losed eyes when russia annexed Crimea and preferred to buy russian oil and gas, the west didn't want Ukraine to join NATO even though Ukraine always asked, the west tried to satisfy Putin. And only after putin's little special operation when everyone turned back on russia (exclusively thanks to Putin) he started whining, he was very brave and cheeky when he announced his special operation. It's really funny when russians whine that the west pumped Ukraine up with weapon and the same russians laugh at how slow the west is at supporting Ukraine with serious weapon. Biden doesn't want to give Ukraine long rrange missiles and F-16, cause Biden doesn't believe that US are at war with Russia, only Putin whines that Russia is at war with US. If US was really at war with Russai Zelensky would get everything he needs from the beginningn and wouldn't need to ask and beg every day for weapon.

    6 types of russian leaders speaking in youtube:
    1. without translation
    2. 5fps
    3. single channel sound
    4. bad sound
    5. bad translation
    6. any of the combinations from above
    It almost seems like it's intentional.
    Does anyone know where I can find their videos with proper subtitles?

      It is intentional. I have met many Russian speaking Russian to English translators. Many of them have been brilliant. Putin speaks relatively simple Russian, it shouldn’t be hard to get a good translation.

    I really hope for Russia that all the suffering and lives they are giving for this war ,is not for nothing like in WWII .And hope that what they are doing now is really gonna improve the living standards of those countries/continents(South America/Africa/Asia) who had a hard time the last few decades/centuries because of western domination. only then this war can be justified.
