For those who don't know, the victim lost their leg. Had to get it amputated. There was another biker that was going over 100 mph and she was going about 20mph. Remember, empty roads are not worth the extra speed for reckless behavior

Edit: just want to say something. I mean, back in gta san andreas, you can get to top speed much faster when you lift up the front wheel up to a certain angle and then ram it back down. Then you repeat the process.
Edit2: people tell me I played too much games.😁 well, that's not true. I haven't played those famous games because I can't afforded it. But let me clarify the reason why I said it goes gta physics. I don't remember every name or even if you tell me to list the one I know, I still can't named it because I'm forgetful. But there are games that follows real life logic and physic up to a certain point. So that's why I thought that maybe popping a wheelie here may have been one of them.

Hmm.. I rode 12 years on sportbikes, and never went down. I have no plans to buy another motorcycle so at least one person, (me) has debunked your statement. You gotta ride like no one sees you, avoid high speeds in populated areas , approach intersections like you're invisible, and you'll be fine. 12 years, no incident of any kind. CBR F4's, to R1's, then to the monster ZX1400. Had a blast and you can too if you use common sense and good situational judgment.

I'm a nurse and we always tell people as long as they're screaming and crying, they're alive. This is also something parents should know. If your child falls and they're not crying and it's a bad fall, they need to get checked immediately.

I’ve worked in EMS/Fire for over 20 yrs and the worst sound u can ever hear at an accident scene is silence. As hard as it is to see someone in pain it’s better than hearing nothing at all.

Not that long ago my brother was on his motorcycle and he was hit by a drunk man when I got out the truck to go to see if he was ok it was just silent he was unconscious he was bleeding from his head his heel got grinded off on the road and while he was on the stretcher his right foot was hanging off by a thread I’ll never forget that day
Especially with babies! A crying baby is the best thing to hear. Thank you for your service! Dad's been a first responder for over 30+yrs himself. He's still a medic and federal security officer and he's got some insane stories he's shared. I hope you're well!
My cousin works in a hospital. One of the worst things she has seen was a motorcycle accident where the patients leg was twisted in the wheel. He had to get his leg taken off

Well she did lose part of her foot in the accident & had to get a majority of her leg amputated, so some of her foot very well might have been in the boot

A degloved Foot/leg is a horrible injury caused by wearing the wrong foot ware for the wrong application and mostly results in the loss of the injured limb.

yep, seen this happen before as a firefighter. Luckily survived cuz of me. That’s honestly why I joined the biker community years later. But those screams n shit I saw ain’t easy to let go. Took me a couple years to see something similar again.

I suffered a similar accident nearly 2 years ago on a 125 degloving my right foot , had to have it amputated below knee but I still ride, got a gsx750f now.

The woman that got hit is named Amanda, her husband crashed into her going 100 mph, her 20 mph. When they collided her husband flew into the trees nearby and she had to get her leg amputated, she wears a prosthetic and still rides to this day.

As a former motorcycle owner I agree. At least wear heavy jeans. I don’t like when I see someone riding a motorcycle with shorts on. Not only can you be tore up if you crash there’s the exhaust pipe that can burn you very badly. Stay safe

This happened several years ago. She lost her right leg, was amputated above the knee. She still rides, still smiles everyday and I'm sure her kids made the process a little easier. God bless her.

My brother just got in a really really rough crash recently, so I know how this feels. She just got some bad road rash, and also broke his thumb, but otherwise he’s fine. His dirtbike looks like mashed potatoes though.
She was only going 20 mph, but her husband was riding with her and ran into her due to “miscommunication and mis-direction” He ended up hitting her and flew off-road to the right and hit a tree and knocked unconscious. He is okay as well

I might never ride again after something like this were to happen to me, especially if it took my leg. I applaud her for not letting this experience affect her the way it would most.

Or "Murder Cycles"...or "Two Wheel Coffins"...not really funny to me. I survived a fairly "mild" motorcycle wreck when I was 15. Hit the right rear quarter panel of a car who made a left turn in front of me, at about 35mph. My bike suffered the worst damage thank God. Nothing, though compared to this horrific scene! Damn.

One time when I was going to my grandmas house there was really bad traffic so my dad went to go check out because there was a ambulance 🚑 so when he got back he grabbed a medic kit from the back of the car and told me this man had a bunch of stuff in the back of his motorcycle and crashed in a creek and he had a wife but thankfully we met him at the hospital and he was okay 👍

I have ridden motorcycles since age 12 and just finally became “bike free” after 40+ years. Way too many distracted drivers on the road for me. Thank the dear Lord I never experienced anything like this. Be safe out there!

99% of street crashes involving a motorcycle would be avoided if the rider was more skilled, more alert and riding smart. People buy motorcycles, never practice and then treat the road like it's Glamis.
@Atypical Moto that is true, but I quit riding because I mb was run over 2 separate occasions at red lights. 1st time turn lane started moving and dude on his phone it the gas while our light was red and ran me over. Second one was worse I stopped at a red and a car plowed me over, she said she didn't see the light. Evidently she didn't see me either. Thus I quit riding.
The way some people ride their bikes doesn't help either.

Also, when you are unconscious and layed down you tend to "swallow" ur tongue and u cant breath. If help takes too long you may progress to major complications such as cardiac arrest
@Felipe BressanIt’s pretty unlikely that a tongue obstructed airway will create sever complications, in most cases it’s simply not ideal as the patient can still breath through snoring respirations.
