You know you should make the thing on level 7 bigger. Because from what I know, the explorers who saw that creature have said that it's impossibly big and even it's head seems to be a few miles in terms of size. Now I know that making it unimaginably big would probably be hard, but at least make it 30 or 40 feet in size. That would be great you know. And also please make it big enough so that it can swallow the entire boat with the player on it

@A Piece Of TNT too big if there were multiple of that size, I mean since this is kind of a slightly off canon game, I think the best case in that scenario would be having smaller ones for the swimming sections OR shaving a really big one come overhead and if you move it kills the player, but the point of the huge single monster is 1 because there’s almost nothing else there and 2 because deep sea gigantism has REALLY taken its toll on this fish. Plus there’s only supposed to be one so a larger size would make sense as opposed to this rare unseen sea monster that’s maybe the size of a black tip reef shark in an ocean potentially the size of multiple planets worth of potentially unimaginable depths

@Kanwar likes games You realize that would be near impossible right? Any phone isn't gonna have the processing power to run that without the game becoming EXTREMELY low quality it would look like a ps1 game.
I really hope that the system of mimics will be reworked, they will behave more naturally, bunnyhop, appearing from the corner where the comrade has just entered. The unexpected appearance behind your backs of your friends and the imitation of their movements, so that you do not have time to realize that there are only two of you, but someone is standing behind him. Moreover, you can create them at a random moment in any room, the main thing is not to overdo it. I really like your game, thanks for everything you do!

You should make the skin stealers able to steal and hold your ID if they kill you while you're holding it out, to make it more interesting and also maybe punish players that decide "Let's all hold our ID's out constantly, then we'll never have any problems".

Can we all just appreciate that Fancy makes the BEST Backrooms Game there could ever be? Every new level feels like a "found footage" video, as it´s so so well done in every aspect.

I truly love this game so much as it´s the only thing that ever gave me more than just jumpscares. It´s honestly dreadful and nothing ever filled me with so much angst before. (Kudos for that)

I would love the idea of adding connected levels and many paths to choice. For example walking into X wall in X level makes you nocliped into X level instead of only going to X exit which was directly designated. I know its all about time and it would probably take so long time that u would do that for 2040 and 25th update but it would still be a cool idea. Thanks for the game tho surely cause its the best backrooms game ever made and it imrpooved really much from the beginning to nowadays and i hope you will make progression like that always.
the small bit with the mention of " returning to what backrooms were always meant to be " gives me hope for a no entity mode . PLEASE make that happen , i adore liminal spaces and id love to explore them without the constant danger around

this is probably the most accurate backrooms game I've ever seen, and it seems it's going to get even better with the idea of non-linear progression and canonical entrances and exits to different levels. I hate games that do it to where it's just make it to the end of one level and now you're in a completely different level for no reason, so I'm glad to see a change of pace with this one

Fancy, when I first watched your first escape the backrooms video I was really surprised, seemed like a cool game
then you added new levels, the pool rooms, giant levels
so I asked myself why not try the game
I bought it, completed it (until now) and I 100% recommend to play it. One of the best games I've ever played

this guy started with a decently serviceable backrooms game, did well enough to probably live comfortably for a while, and decided "nah, we aint done" and is on track to making this BY FAR the best backrooms game

Add a 'look back' button/option, so when your running you can see what or who's chasing you.

Keep on pushing! If you added vr for this game alone you should be able to add raytracing! Maybe even in the future add map randomizer seeds! You did all this yourself, Getting an entire company (not a greedy one like EA) working on it would be insane. Imagine a Triple A backrooms game. The potential is insane! You already surpassed the rest of the BR games.

These are the best, most entertaining development videos I've ever seen for any project.
I hate horror, because I'm basically a wuss, but I think I just may pick your game up. It looks fantastic, easily the coolest depiction of The Backrooms that I have heard of. I have never used VR, but this implementation already looks better than what AAA studios have put out. Just amazing work!
I recommend that for level 7, you make it so the player can possibly find the cave on the shallower deep parts, but you should definitely make the thing a ton larger, and make darker areas you can dive into that go almost pitch black as you go, like the actual level. And as you go deeper, you can find more human skeletons

You should make it so there are multiple exits in each level and each can lead to a different level. Kinda like how in the lore you can get to the pool rooms through a slide in level one and some other ways

Man you're awesome, what do you think about using an AI's API to generate the backrooms levels randomly?
VRchat has a good locomotion method for avoiding motion sickness. They have normal smooth locomotion and snap rotation, but they also have an option that is effectively a teleport for the player's camera, while the character model moves at normal speed in whatever direction is pressed. Could be worth looking into something like that.
That may have issues with walking running and sneaking though

I’m wondering, when more levels come by, will it be a story mode with an ending like most other games, or be how the actual back rooms work with no end, and you can just go to different levels. That will probably be too difficult, and a lot of problems will come with that, but I want to see someone who is skilled to be able to do that.

You should make a co-op survival mode, with escape routes in backrooms levels that "supposedly" send you back to reality.
It is so good to have had the opportunity to experience this game since the first update. It has united my friends together every time there is a new update. Keep it up :))

Gotta say great work though if possible I would actually like that you could go to different levels like the fun level through natural means like an uneven wall transporting you there since in the backrooms you can go to multiple levels from different levels through different means like 4 to 6 and a way to go to 2 from 7

I think "liminal" mode and the ability to select which levels are accessible in a save would be interesting 'mods' / 'advanced settings'
"liminal mode" leans into the classic-backrooms style with no entities, more sparse decoration, etc.
Limiting which levels are accessible would allow people to disable levels they don't like _or_ for that one guy, only allow level 0.
I recommend you make some real empty and liminal space levels. This is good idea!

As a VR enthusiast with a nice PC, I appreciate the effort to put your game into VR! I hadn't heard of the game til this video and probably wouldn't be interested in it if it didn't have VR support. I'll add it to my wishlist and see if my friends are interested in playing it.

i played your magnificent game and i gotta tell you fancy, you really inspired me to make my own backrooms game, mine's more humor based and has a friendly robot named aiden. he beats up enemies so you can escape. There is also a frowner named Yancy who beats up entities for you if you give him candy. feel free to use either if you want and keep being awesome
i bought this game a while back and holy it is amazing the mechanics, the entities, the levels, the gameplay, and especcially the horror, everything about this level is just amazing

Dude! Absolutely amazing work on this game!! Me and a few of my friends just finished the game and are ready to try it in vr! One suggestion, though I absolutely loved thalassophobia, canonically the thing is much larger. While it’s still one of my favorite levels, that would be a great improvement! Also, by the way, while this game is an absolute masterpiece, if you want to stick to a canonically correct backrooms for the game, I recommend using the wikidot backrooms page as opposed to the wiki fandom. While some of the info on the fandom is correct, a lot of levels and entities have been drastically changed or even completely removed since anyone can change the fandom page. The wikidot is managed much better and major changes and new levels or entities have to be approved by the admins and creators of the page. It’s widely thought of as the canon wiki page for the backrooms as most levels have not been changed since they were created, and all levels are made carefully, making sure they do not interfere or contradict other levels’ physics or logic. The wikidot also has a lot more info on the lore and backstory to certain levels. Anyways good luck with development, love your game!!!
