The good side of life always shows in animals. This is so cute.
Please don't pet or otherwise befriend wild animals; the next person might not be so kind.
ALWAYS, especially when puking in the car or smearing poop on the carpet.
While I want to agree, I can't help but remember watching a video the other day, of a sea lion ripping a seagull's head off for stealing its food lol.
Most of these animals are domesticated, with access to food, water and shelter survival insticts are more suppressed in animals due to lack of need for competing in a nature. Without humans and human resources they would either turn back to their full instincts or go extinct. Good side of life in animals formed mostly because we wanted to domesticate the nature.
The dog running then looking back at his new friend to make sure the cow was following him was so cute

I love how the dogs are smiling and wagging their tails when introducing their new friend, reassuring their new friend and coaxing their person, as if trying to be the diplomat and broker a peace agreement between two nations.
They're adding members to the pack. Dogs are friendly by design. “Hey boss, this deer looks like he'd be a good addition to our team. I'm sure he can do…something.”

I love how these animals have the sense to make friends that aren't the same as them, it's so cute how hey just invite them home aswell 😹
These kinds of interactions are common between domesticated animals, and like in this video, between domesticated and wild animals, but I wonder how often interspecies friendships occur between wild animals.
Do predatory animals befriend animals they would normally consider a meal? If a cheetah made friends with a rabbit, would it refrain from eating all rabbits, or just that one it befriended. Would a rabbit stay around and be the cheetah’s friend if it ate the rabbit’s family?
The dog and the panther surprised me because that panther could have easily killed that dog. Maybe the panther was raised in captivity and was somewhat socialized? If the panther was used to receiving prepared meals, it may not have the instinct to immediately kill. Whatever the circumstance, the dog was lucky.
My Great Dane/American Bulldog mix Jester brought home a tiny kitten and she never left. We named her Lilith and the two are the best of friends. After watching this video I’m now thankful he chose a kitten instead of bringing home a Cow 😳

@Shadow Aussie I saw the whole video, where they explained how this friendship came about. Both animals live in a rescue park, and both love to play in the water. That's how they started 'playing' with each other. It is not clickbait.

My husky/wolf, Julie, was the part-time leader of the local pack of coyotes. It was really weird the first time I saw it.
Gotta be careful with coyotes, though, it's possible for dogs to get along with them, but it's even more likely that the pact of coyotes will attack the dog (especially if you're not around)
@AuspexAO, she was 120 pounds. I didn't even know they were out there. When I went outside, a couple of the coyotes moved closer to me by a few feet then stayed at that distance. She wasn't satisfied with that and chased the whole pack off. She was a loving and loyal gentle giant. I miss her. She died in November 2006.
I live in kind of a weird area. It's an island that's rural and kind of developed at the same time. Also, I'm at the intersection of three distinct coyote packs. It's neat.
I lived in Denver and there were tons of coyotes in the non-downtown neighborhoods. So many people would just show you the videos they took on their phones of their dog(s) playing in the park with one coyote or another. And then as soon as you'd get outside the city onto the more prairie-type areas, you'd hear stories of coyotes jumping over fences in neighborhoods and picking up/dragging off smaller dogs.
The part-time part made me laugh 😅

When I was a kid, my cat would disappear for a week or so and come back with a girlfriend. My mother would wake up for work at 3:30 am and the two would be sitting in the kitchen waiting to be fed (we had a doggy door). She started buying expensive cans of gourmet cat food for when he brought home a date. After being fed, she'd leave and we'd never see her again. It was a different cat every time.
@WastedTalent My cat has a girlfiend as well. She sometimes comes to the garden and when my mother lets him out through the door the cats run away rubbing against each other.

I have SUCH an overwhelming love for animals that make friends with other species. I once had a little cockatoo that loved anything little and furry. It was adorable to see her pet them and pal around. I guess they were more like pets to her than friends now that I think about it lol

My adopted yellow Lab, Sonny, always tried to make friends with the rabbits in our yard. It seemed as thought the rabbits knew so and they allowed Sonny to approach them, but then they would hop away a bit and Sonny would have to approach them again. Watching this happen, it seemed as though the rabbits were playing some sort of old school yard play game with Sonny, lol! 😂

It's so wonderful to see the joy of both the dog and other animals that trial along. I have seen the opposite many times on walks. Dogs, looking well fed and not abused, coming over and walking with me. To the point that as I'm trying to leave, they are trying to hitch a ride with me. Amazing.

Lolol! My puppy was small. When we went on vacation and picked him up from the dog babysitting place, he ran right out into the backyard and barked. All the neighbors dogs barked back at him. He was just letting them know he was back from doggy babysitting
