Ein perfektes Interview und sie haben so recht die Jahre vergehen man wird älter die Knochen fangen an zu schmerzen und was geblieben ist die bunten Vinyls drehen sich immer noch auf den Plattenteller von DM❤

You guys are the biggest and most compact band of all time. I will be sad if you guys disband, especially if you stop singing great songs and high quality. I never forget to hear your songs every day. Because it makes me feel satisfied and excited to fill my days. May the Lord Jesus Christ give you health and happiness.
💟💟💟 Greetings big fans from Indonesia 💗💗💗

Translation/Subtitles (not necessarily the exact wording):
0:46 Tanya König: Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, it's a pleasure to meet you. You're in your sixties now. You could say in the last third of life, but I maintain that life has gotten better and better and that you are having the best time of your life right now.
    D: Could be, yes.
M: Yes, and 60 is the new 40, isn't it?
D: Is that right, is that so?
M: There's a picture of me and my grandfather when I was about two years old and he was about 60/61, but he really looked like an old grandfather. But he also went through a world war, so maybe things are different then, but maybe we take care of ourselves a little bit better now. People didn't exercise or eat healthy back then. Things are different today.
1:55 TK: You've been making music with Depeche Mode for over 40 years. Last May your bandmate Andy Flechter passed away, so here you are with a new album called "Memento Mori," a Latin phrase that reminds us that we must die. The title was chosen before Andy's sudden death, I maintain that it has a deep meaning for you now.
M: Yes, it does. Although I also wrote the songs before Andy's death, now they take on a different meaning and that goes for the title as well. I wanted to keep that album title after Andy died because it has a deeper meaning now. Saying "make the most of your life."
D: It fits with the songs. Because the songs are about mortality and death. But also about life, life as it is.
3:08 TK: You sing about angels dying or eternal life. Did you want to break a taboo with that, because death is a taboo in society?
M: It's a taboo, but I don't know why it is. We all have to face death and the older we get, the more we have to face it.
D: I often wonder why I'm still here. Pretty selfish thought. But immortality doesn't exist for anyone and we still choose to spend life so destructively.
3:58 TK: You wonder why you're still here. You've had a couple of near-death experiences. Is that the reason you're so surprised?
D: Well, I pushed the envelope a little bit sometimes over the years.
    4:17 TK: What saved you?
D: Just luck... Chance. I think that if I wasn't in the position I was in, I probably wouldn't have gotten as much help either. People wouldn't have cared as much about me.
4:41 TK: You've been making music together for so long, how is the collaboration different now from say 20 years ago?
M: What I can say is that it feels really good to be out and working again, because it's been six years since our last album and five since our last concert, so we were excited to do it again. But what's the difference? I don't know. We need to practice a little bit more [laughter.]
5:21 TK: Does it take more rehearsal?
D: Yeah, you know, as you get older, you set this bar for yourself, "Okay, we're going to go on stage for two hours, play songs, and I'm going to sing and perform for two hours." The standard we set for ourselves is pretty high. If I feel like I can't reach that level of performance (which I think we should and our fans expect) I won't keep doing it.
6:03 TK: You are going on a world tour this year and will also play in Switzerland in June. Is there an anecdote that connects you with Switzerland?
M: We spent quite a lot of time there on the last tours. When we have a longer break we like to go to Switzerland. It's just a nice place to stay.
    6:24 TK: For skiing?
M: During the tour we are usually there in the summer.
D: We get to stay at this nice hotel in Zurich.
    6:33 TK: [Hotel name]?
    D: Yes, exactly. It's kind of a sacred place/sanctuary
6:42 TK: In that case, we look forward to many more projects and your world tour. Thank you very much.
    D & M: Thank you.
