Well, when the opposing player has twice as many points, then yeah. Embiid also had twice as many rebounds as Jokic and 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks as well, so he outplayed Jokic in every stat category other than assists and blocks (and he matched him in blocks). He even hit twice as many 3's.

@Huncho500 wow I didn't know he isn't a starter. That sucks for him, he is SECOND in the league only behind Jokic in Player Efficiency Ratio now, and noticeably higher that 3rd Doncic. But yeah, as far as popularity, I understand their decision. Fans have a problem to 'identify themselves' with 7-footers, so big guys are less popular, unless they are real freaks or funny / 'charismatic'. Most underrated player in entire league for example is Gobert IMO.
