Absolutely horrific, they tortured that poor young man crying out for his mother. I hope they all get what they deserve. And those two paramedics who stood there and refused to give him aid until he was unconscious should be charged. Disgraceful for the city of Memphis. I couldn't stop crying when they were kicking and beating him. And still no reason for the stop. Nothing justifies what was done to Tyre. I saw his poor mum on TV today crying. My heart goes out to his family.

@Alex Jay Whatever. There is still a massive difference between using some violence and beating a guy who literally can't do anything to you to death. I find it baffling you are defending bunch of guys beating a single guy to death. Even less should be condemned

Only the uneducated snowflakes will get brainwashed and fall for the news media trap making y’all actually defend a criminal😂😂😂💀💀💀. Law Enforcement doesn’t act like that out of no where for nothing. There’s definitely more to the story that the news media is hiding from us and not letting us know and or see. When a person is acting like that and resisting law enforcement and or not cooperating with them, he was probably either wanted for a charge or something else that was serious. Otherwise, he would of cooperated and this would never happen and wouldn’t be on tv.

My heart goes out to Tyre's mother, I am so dreadfully sorry for what happened to your son. Initally I called them bullies, but they weren't, they were monsters in uniform, they were COWARDLY MURDERERS and that includes the paramedics. Listening to them making excuses for what they had done, smoking cigarettes and just standing around without any sign of compassion for the young human being they had just kicked, beaten, tasered and pepper sprayed continuously and mercilessly for no reason other than their huge egos, makes me absolutely sick to my stomach and fills me with anger. That was gang murder, mob rule. Just appalling! I have nothing but contempt for those five cowards, but I do feel sorry for their families. 'Rest In Peace Tyre' . From England.

@Anita Cordeiro what really has me tripping is, all the way down to the bottom of this post, a couple people give that lame excuse a thumbs up. I want to examine without trying to laugh at these scared people who agreed with you. Ur exactly the person I was always hoping to verbally fight my battles when I was doing criminal activity, you're just as good as the older lady who looks like a sweet grandma that I use to pay to sit in the back of the courtroom crying during my hearings.

@Angela Roufs and if I was driving and almost wiped out your family while running from the cops and you saw me pulled over getting whooped by them would you stop and say your hurting him or would you drive by saying, that's what he gets.
Don't answer for the people reading this answer for yourself in that situation. We just don't know what happened. Cops just don't pull people over willy nilly for a traffic offense and start beating someone. Something made them mad, let's wait and see. And don't start with, he didn't deserve it, I get it.

That badge did NOT allow you to be his judge and jury. You have now took a son from a mother a brother from his family and a dad from his child. I hope and pray you 5 get the maximum and it still won't be enough. My prayers go out to the Nichols family, I am so sorry for your loss 🙏❤️🙏❤️

@TakeOffV05 Please read what you write and then read my comments. I just made a comment about the first stop. The suspect was resisting, not following orders and then ran. Had he followed orders, not resisted and not ran, he would be alive today because he would have been handcuffed and the confrontation would have been over. That's it. As far as you saying you don't put yourself in a situation to have a confrontation with cops, neither did this suspect. Neither did I when I was dragged from my car, stepped on and handcuffed. Just happened to be driving the same make and model of car that violent criminals had committed a violent crime in. This is my only point. You don't need to add anything to it.

@VanSile no one put words in your mouth at all I can’t put words in anyone’s mouth over a Clip-Share comment chain but it’s okay some people have harder times collecting and understanding information and that along with all of ur other problems explains this entire conversation buddy. “You really just are not” reading everything I’m saying and then typing out of anger and lashing insults because you don’t know what to say but sure you didn’t defend the cops I don’t know what they would matter if you did because I didn’t ever say someone can’t but you defending these police in particular is ignorant.

Shame on the Memphis police for sure but they can't all be the same as it was the Memphis police who released the bodycam footage to the public - maybe there is some hope that there might be police who give a damn about justice, once upon a time that footage would have been lost to save 'one (some) of their own'. It is disgusting that not one of those present said 'enough guys, stop this now' - how simple that could have been. Simply heartbreaking.

12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
      James 2:24,26
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
3:16 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

So YES I fully agree with your stance! The shit should end and only the great can stand up without cowering, infortunately we running short of those kinds. Im South African, grew up during Apartheid and back then i saw how teenagers were taken out of homes by police for protests, so my opinion on police comes from same place as yours, but i can still believe in the good in people, got to otherwise what good does it do to carry around hatred all the time, that shit just weighs you down.

@RLT128 and I do not know where you stand on the politics of all this , but to me it is not a race issue, but a power and control one. yes many black lives have been taken by the police , I am in now way saying it has not but people of all colour gets abused by these people who think they can just do as they please. Tupac said it best they are the thugs . things need to change within the police , cause yes there are some good ones amongst them who unfortunately falls in the same category maybe they should stand up against this lunacy too for changes to start happening. I feel for the pain you all are going through when it comes to this issue and prayers go out to everyone who has been affected by police brutality.

Why? Why would people do this to another person? The lines of human empathy have been drawn way to far from what they should be. Violence begets violence but violence is not the answer or solution to this horrible situation. Condolences to family and friends of Tyre.

This is hurting me deeply and I can't stop crying after seeing this. It's also scary because there are so many police officers , judges, lawyers , prosecutors and doctors who are criminals. This was beyond evil , these 5 individuals were demons killing this men in cold blooded. There entire motive was to kill him. They beat him consistently for a traffic stop ,no . They were extremely comfortable so this isn't their first time doing something like this as a group. In fact , I believe that they have killed so many individuals just like this but was able to get away with it . See now they have to understand what they did has to come right back to them. When you mistreat someone you are only mistreating yourself. When God gave these 5 officer a gift to protect the lives of innocent people and you do the opposite. God not only take it from you but he will show you who really have the authority. Lord My father I ask you to watch over his mom, children, family and friends . Give them all the ability to stay strong in a devastating and heartbreaking time. I am so very sorry young man that this happened to you. 💔RIH💔and fly high 🙏🥲🌷🌿🌳🪴🥀🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

My deepest condolences to the family, of Tyre Nichols. Watching the videos that have been released made my soul hurt. I thought about my father, my brother, my nephew. My fiance. What he was going through in those moments. He ran because he needed help, from the officers involved whom couldn't and wouldn't give him any answers of what he did. How could he not feel threatened by the people whom are sworn to protect and serve our communities. The way they spoke, like thugs, gang members, criminals, that's exactly why the acted out in such a manner, because that's who they are. He was under attack by gangsters with badges. Who will police the police. They, threatened to break his arm, tased him, kicked him in the head, repeatedly, they punched him continuously, hit him with a baton, all while verbally abusing him. For what. What did he do? He was defenseless, and not one of the officers had the decency to say hold on Enough is enough. Not one of them tried to assist him with medical aide. When they realized the severity of the situation.. it was nervousness, oh he tried to reach for an officers gun. He tried to fight back. Really! This man Tyre Nichols was in fear of his life from a gang of thugs. All he asked was what did I do. While he was complying. There should be murder charges for not only five, but all police officers who were there. Not one of them tried to render aide after the fact. How many times did they try to sit him up, and he fell down. How could this happen. My heart hurts, for Tyre Nichols, for his family, and I pray that justice will be served swiftly. They deserve the same fate that they brought upon Mr. Nichols for no apparent reason. All involved from the initial traffic stop, to the officers standing around doing nothing. Even the woman officer in the video laughing about the situation. Standing around, watching him, instead of helping him. How disgusting and disturbing they all sound, making up excuses for the brutally that happened.
