on today's episode, we journey back to my hometown of milford, connecticut to visit some of the people and places that made me who i am and acted as the backstory for "the fifth vital", plus we check in with my eccentric yet incredibly based granny, taste-test a local burger shop, and get the opportunity to change the life of a fellow person in recovery.
so you work the night shift? so do we. we can get thru this together. a random collection of news, stories, weather, and other random unplanned happenings. and tons of buttery toast.

This hits home for me so much, I was a homeless heroin addict for about 8 years in Arizona. I'm over 3 years sober now and counting. It's very refreshing to see this kind of content and to be reminded that I am one of so many people who have lived that life! Thank you for giving back and ultimately proving that though it's incredibly hard, you can get off of that road and completely start over. It's a long and slow process but it's pretty amazing to see what were made of through it. Pretty cool stuff,
Well done xx
Didnt ask
Very happy to hear about your success. Keep crushing
This was amazing.. can’t even lie, I got a bit emotional on this one 🥲
Same man, Mike is one of the nicest person I know.
Proud of you Mike :) That is an extremely impactful set of actions!
The humility and humbleness Mike shows here when he returns to his roots is the best Mike possible in my opinion. Really fantastic video and bless his granny and mum they seem amazing.
Don’t get addicted to heroine…get addicted to gambling🤨🤨
Yeah I 100% fav night shift episode this was very refreshing to watch ❤️❤️❤️

"A measure of a mans success is not in how much he has, but in how much he gives". You are a prime example of a humble legend Mike. much love
I needed this video. Iv been sober close to a year now. Your story and book helped beyond what this comment can express.

5 years sober and watching this.. it was such am amazing thing you did Mike.. it's so hard in those early stages.. to really see where the future is going.. but you gave that lady another year.. and that probably saved her life..
This here is the kind of shit people with money and influence NEED to and SHOULD be doing!! Great fucking job Mike. Much respect mate 👍

Mike this is amazing i can see you saving even more life’s and recovering addicts , find more save more , get this community together and keep that light BRIGHT !!
The fact that he’s willing to depart from the content that’s brought him success in order to do what he feels will contribute to humanity is awesome
Yep
Agreed
Its not like he got a choice since him and his girlfriend broke up he had to take the channel another direction
I like Mike too but not he's not really departing from what made him successful, his addict/recovery story has always been a huge part of it
I'm THE BIGGEST mike fan... but is he? I love Mike I honestly literally live the fifth vital
I’m currently in early recovery and man this video just hit so hard. You’re a great dude mike and are proof you can do it and stay sober. Thanks for this video

As a recovering addict myself, love this Vlog. Help is always there as long as you ask for it. You can overcome addiction, you just have to be ready to do it for yourself.
this hits so close to home mike thank you so much for helping someone who genuinely wants to change and help other people change you really are great
I loved this video, Mike. You getting through your drug addiction encourages me to continue pushing through mental illness. Thank you 🙏🏼

Point blank…this is awesome. As someone from the Northeast, MA, I know how the addiction community struggles in this area and appreciate what you’re doing. Thank you!
Well done mike this was an amazing video great execution your mum seems amazing keep grinding for her she deserves it
I’m never usually one to comment on Clip-Share videos but Mike this is amazing content, didn’t think a Night Shift episode would stir up emotions like that - keep using your platform to empower and lift others
I just wanna let you know I have read your book 4 times now this year while in and out of 6 different rehabs and am currently watching this in a sober living half way house right now. And I really want to give up and release but seeing you and your life now gives me hope. I hope I can handle my addiction like you one day.
Don’t count yourself out ❤️
The fact that Mike blushed and looks like a kid asking for permission when he’s donating this much money almost made me cry. You’re so beautiful bro and although my Dad passed away on an overdose, seeing you change peoples lives always comforts me. Much love.
I'm sorry about your dad, sending virtual hugs🤗 you're strong and you're amazingly made, keep being you❤
Love this video Mike, it was raw, and authentic. Keep changing lives 🙌🏽
Mike, for some reason I was afraid this video might be self-serving or facile. But you made those financial gestures with such sincerity and your intention to help Jessica came from a place of pure goodwill and philanthropy. Thank you!
This is awesome im so glad you’re able to help out like that idk her but I’m super happy she doesn’t have to stress as hard and I can’t wait to hopefully meet you guys some day keep dropping these bangers
I honestly cried watching you help her your a amazing man mike good job

Mike says he had a tough upbringing, but truth is he was a rich kid that done a lot of drugs
Nobody asked you janko... 😜

Wow mike. This is where it’s at for you, well done. Especially allowing her to use money to help others.
I love how mike interracts with us in his videos. He makes sure we don't get left out while all the crazy stuff happen
His grandma is funny af lol
That Majlak humour is genetic 😂
Bro I love this. I've been watching you guys for over a year now and y'all seriously changed my life.
This episode makes me respect you so much man. I was young and I was addicted to shit but not anymore. And I just want to say you deserve everything that's coming your way cause you give back !
I don’t normally comment but amazing video mike, it’s so nice you’ve made it so far and can give back to people with your same struggles. Keep up the hard work you’re doing amazing things!
This is a really good direction for mike to go with his channel. I hope to see more on how you got sober. What worked for you. How did you just finally push all of it away.
Congratulations Mike
When Mike makes a guy who shows zero emotion tear up, you’ve done it my guy.
Man I only went through 1% of this with alcoholism and that was enough for me to nearly break. I’m so glad for those who have got throughout it all and got any of you still going through it please know that we are hear for you and love you. Stay strong and remember things can get better, I won’t say it will but it can.
Good shit Mike! Ur an inspiration to a lot of people out there, me included, that know what it’s like to struggle with addiction. Honestly thank you Mike
Incredible video! What a wave of emotions throughout. Also, so much love for Granny Majlak! She's unreal!
Seriously Mike do more of these kinds of videos man!! I love seeing Clip-Sharers help people out.. so awesome man keep it up
I’m here for this! Brilliant Mike! The best part was your mommas pride for you, good stuff!💜
Love the serious stuff from you. You are a funny SOB, but you also bring a level of experience and knowledge that most don't, and i really enjoy hearing what you have to say.
Thanks mike
By far my favorite episode. So much respect bro. Keep enjoying the grind. Your content distracted me through some rough times.
Great vid props that you shed light on these situations and use your platform for the betterment of society in this aspect.
THIS! This is the big mike we need and love. My father hit Rick bottom after his addiction to crack cocaine battle for 20+ years. We didn’t have e the support that he needed from his family and was bastardized for his recovery. My father has been clean for 18 years, ha 5 beautiful grandchildren and has become my best friend. Thank you mike for keeping a spotlight on this issue and keep putting love out there.
Now this is the videos I love seeing Mike make. Talking about HARD subjects that not many people talk about and this man is. Keep it up bro ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very beautiful emotional episode ! Thank you for helping a addict in need ! Absolutely amazing
Your a F-ing angel bro. Keep up this great thing you have going on. I promise you this will make a huge difference on all this folks.

That’s real love mike .I’ve been struggling with a gambling addiction for the past 3 years .It’s tough bro the knowledge and advice you gave in this vid is something I needed.Theres always light at the end of the tunnel.been a fan of your vids for a long time man thanks for giving to the people your a good guy man honestly.
I loved this video! I hope everyone is struggling out there on drugs stay strong
Good for you, Mike. Helping out others that are crying out for help due to their addictions. Keep at it, Mike. Stay Strong.
Also, I speak for all of us(the Night Shift Audience & Fanbase) when I say that were not over her(1:47)
Lana is cool and all. And let me make clear don't know the fine details of the relationship. But you break up for one second and she comes back prego, that would be hard to take in my opinion. Mike prollyt cares for her but the trust is probably ehhh so maybe why it's hard to just take her back not to mention he's said he's not ready to be married n all that
AGREED. Its been a while Mike, bring her back lol
EXACTLY PLS BRING HER BACK BRO
Damn I’ve never been a drug addict but I teared up. Look at Mike man so inspirational.
You’re the king Mike 💪 thanks for being such an inspiration, please keep doing what your doing,,, you’re on a righteous path and you’re taking others along the way with. Thank you
this means alot to me Mike thank you for helping raise awareness. I to struggled with heavy addiction for over 10 years from 15-26 and been clean for 15 years now. really would love to read your book thank you. our past doesn't define us and thank you . you have come a long way.love your granny she is the cutest. my great great aunt was 107 reminds me of her.🙏💗
What a guy mike❤️ you made my day! :”)
Awesome video Mike. The best advice I can give someone struggling with addiction, and this is coming from someone who’s been in recovery for 13 years, is to do meetings regularly.
Great video. Love the message. Way to try to help people in need. Keep it going Mike
What a great guy. Giving back is so powerful. Wow. The serotonin is high for everyone. Great move mike. Love you bro. You mean so much!
This was so amazing and wholesome, love it!
you’re mother and grandma are amazing mike they are so beautiful and pure wow
Awesome job Mike! Such a great video and an extremely great thing you did!
Never thought i‘d cry watching the nightshift. Big respect
Great video mike it’s truly amazing to see you doing this and brining a real light on the Drug problem in the us. But at the same time helping out where you can. It’s truly amazing cuz you haven’t lost sight of where you came from and don’t try to hide it but use it as fuel for a fire to help others. Keep it up bro
This is very inspirational Mike you’ve come a long way
I will admit, I cried when his grandmother said she hasn’t had a hug in two years….
At that point I woulda just said fuck it and hugged her, Mike doesn't have covid
@Niggy Covid
@0MissElizabeth0 why what happened to her?
Me too !
Like why cant they just put on hazmat suits and give her a big ol' bear hug
Thank you so much Mike for doing what you're doing.
Sobbing 😭 that was amazing Mike! Helping the recovery house and that beautiful woman was such an amazing thing to watch.
Great video Mike!!! You're a good human being and you can be proud of yourself!!
Huge respect for doing this!
logan should really appreciate that he brought mike on board. Not only did mike help him on his own struggles when he was in dark times but now gave mike the platform for mike to continue to help and make a difference in other people's lives.
Hell yeah this was really cool Mike. Love that you love where you came from
I have never been more proud of you Mike I am in tears I absolutely love you it’s your 5152-year-old woman now from Australia it’s so lovely to see you doing this you think you’re big on the Internet now if you keep this up you’re gonna be fucking massive
So proud of you man, keep it going and keep changing lives!
That was awesome, Mike. I’m sure you are an inspiration to addicts all around.
Both of my parents are addicts and I battle daily with severe anxiety and I have two children of my own now and I promise myself everyday that I won’t let them down the way I have been. Mike I appreciate you more than you’ll ever realize man. It’s a battle everyday. Seeing my once perfectly normal parents become so different and wanting to help them so bad. Hoping your mom is right and just hoping and keep wishing that they will see the light.
Why do people tell everyone this shit.
why comment that man I’m sure lots of people will care about what that man has to say, including Mike, I wish him all the luck in the world
I wish you the best in life
Great job! From a recovered Addict that read your book and watched every vlog and podcast. My respect for you just jumped to a whole now level! Keep it up Mike ❤️
Life changing thank you mike we need more people like you
Thank you for using your platform for something you’re so passionate about and something that impacts many of us. ❤️

I’ll reference a quote from our childhood
“With great power, comes great responsibility”
In a time filled with toxic influence spreading to the youth, I appreciate you being a shining light Mike. You use this platform to constantly push positivity and good messaging, always offering a helping hand. You the goat Mike 🙌🏽 Also gramma Majlak is an absolute star.
Very Well Said My Friend.❤️💯👍🏾🙏🏽
What a beast Mike!! great to be able to give back, keep it going man.
Mike can act like a douche sometimes, but the fact that he talks about addiction so often and spreads awareness is really remarkable. What he did for that lady is going to change her whole perspective because all it takes is 1 person to believe in you/care about you and that can be the difference in what keeps you sober. You should do more episodes like this!
Im still young but this really touched me and has really made me think about my life choices!! Mike you are doing amazing, keep doing what you're doing!!!!
