I have so much respect for how Marques has turned his Clip-Share channel into more of a media production company without loosing the personal youtubeer-feel. And I find myself drooling over the production quality of this channel. All of the professionel gear. I think a lot of people, like myself, see it as a dream job to work for Marques. MKBHD has become a brand in the tech industry and I find it so refreshing to see how they've made a succesful business out of primarily being a Clip-Share channel - something boomers wouldn't understand just a few years ago and still don't. It's easy to predict jobs we might loose to robots but it's difficult to imagine jobs that does not exist yet. Because they do not exist YET. Marques and his team deserve all the praise they get for being so succesful and simultaneously being one of the least drama oriented channels on this platform. They make brilliant content about tech.

@antonio m davila But when the fractal dissonance of media personalities overwhelms cogent hegemony, ubiquitous frivolities are much clearer. We are all on the same path as the Blue Footed Booby but we can transnicrify, fortunately right? Ah, evolution always has the last word. Bygones.

All three of these dudes are just so likable. Awesome stuff. I love how Marques didn't just sit on his success and get complacent while others passed him by. He doubled and tripled down on his passion and made all the right moves to stay relevant and on top. Deserves every bit of success he's had and more.

The whole studio is sick, but those sound treatments are way more important then people think, and sometimes even just a decent blanket hanging around from somewhere can help cancel the noise a lot. Thanks for showing us this, way cool!

@BamBiYT I bet almost 100% of people have no idea when a shot was done by the robot, but it becomes the quality that everyone unconciously expects. It's just about having shots that look very natural to the eye, but noone else on Clip-Share can get.

Honestly in the grand scheme of film studios, it’s absolutely insane the quality they get from a one million dollar studio. That’s actually pretty cheap as studios like this go. Also motorized precision is an awesome company! Touring the ViaFilms studio is always so fun!

You make it all so seamless that I never wondered how much tech you actually have to make it work... odd, due to just how much you *do* have and use. Wow, been a sub for a long time, even more committed now! Thanks for all your hard work!

It goes beyond that slight edge, just having the camera robot is something a lot of big tech channels could do but his studios eye for shot and design to take advantage of the robot is really what makes those shots stand out for me personally

      Jason 10 months ago +27

He doesn’t have a slight edge over others, he has a massive edge. He is just being humble. I have seen so many other tech reviews and many of them are amateurs. I like how Marques never brags about his set and how well he is doing. Real class. Very considered speaker and he just makes you want to listen. The complete opposite of that guy who unboxes stuff calling it therapy....

I'd love to see the two of you do a walk and talk with Mango Street. They just popped over the 1M mark on Clip-Share and have re-done their channel multiple times. Could be a RAD story.

Absolutely love how he tries to downplay his robot arm after saying the price 🤣 when you think about it, it truly is essential since he wants to keep his edge on getting the shots. Expensive yes, but nessicary. Any advantage you have over your competition is an advantage indeed. Even if it is $250K 🤣 really cool tour.

    Wooow..
This is so real, like I love your work guys. Even a young content creator on Clip-Share with less than 250 sub (even though am not into tech review), I like that fact that our work space should be able to solve a problem. That's my take away from this video. You mustn't have a big space to do that, but even from the comfort of your car or bedroom you can still be very creative and innovative. Am not there yet but with time and more smart / hard work I will get to that level.

i don´t know all the other tech channels, but some of them. And it always felt like MKBHD is at least 25% ahead of the second place in video quality. Now we see why. (he´s been here for 13 years) He basically started a tech channel when nobody knew there could be a future in this. I just checked: in his "Update 5.0" video from dez 2009 he animated a robotic arm as a transition. now he has two real robotic arms, (one of wich has been satirically converted into a lamp) in his Studio wich feels like it´s not even one step behind a real TV set. Probably even ahead with that huge robotic arm.

When a guy with +10 million followers takes times to be on a channel with 550k followers...to me... that a true definition of ...... "bringing others up". Well done MKBHD

Holy moly! I always loved MKBHD's videos over others because of the insane editing, design, lighting etc which really make each video a work of art.
I'm really grateful to see how much is really going on behind the scenes and it makes me appreciate each of his spectacular videos so much more.
Shout out to his amazing team of producers, editors and researchers as well 🙌

That’s exactly why I moved into a two bedroom apartment. My extra room is just the unboxing room so if I need to punch anything in, it’s just real quick. I actually have two microphones because one of them was from this warranty replacement I never went through with. So I’m kind of considering just setting up the microphone in there permanently for I’m boxing as well so I don’t have to keep moving the one in my living room.
At the end of the day, the more efficient and easy everything is, the less I will put things off because the less overwhelming it will be

What i like with mr. MKBDH is that everything is polished, colormatched - it's so smooth, so good. That's a job well-done for him and his team.

As cool as this is, the content should always come first. There are a lot of big channels that still only film on handhelds/go pros/iPhone, Cleetus McFarland being a pretty good example
