Woah look guys, Clip-Share watches Clip-Share too.
Didn't expect you here...
Edit: woah that’s a lot of likes
Clip-Share procrastinating on Clip-Share.
Its arun bro . . .
Bro what are u doin here? Go tell to ur new CEO to bring back dislike button
you just had to be there to really appreciate what gaming was like back in the day. i'm so glad i got to experience the 1990s/early 2000s gaming era.
Ik right? I hate it how kids don't have any 2000s nasatalgia these days, that's why I make my kids use all the same things I did like clothes and even food, such a good idea fr fr
@Uncle Malgon The Toe Tickler how are kids nowadays have nostalgia for an era in which they didn't even exist?
Maybe they don’t have 2000s nostalgia because they weren’t born in the early 2000s 💀
@Uncle Malgon The Toe Tickler ❤
I remember playing StarFox on the SNES when it came out and feeling so smug that my Sega Genesis owning friend had absolutely nothing like it.
Being born in the early 1990s, this video brought back a LOT of great childhood memories. I’ve had every single Xbox console since the original! Great vid 👍
i feel nostalgia with the 360 good memories
When i was a younger kid (im 12) I had a 360 slim and i remember all of the greatness of that console and how fun it was
You must've been one rich mammajammah
I was born in 79 and I actually played on al the xboxs
Ahh yes the intro of Xbox 360 was my favorite I have one still😊
I bought a used 360 Slim back in 2013, and somehow it's still running as well as ever as my main/only console! I'm way too emotionally invested now to replace it or upgrade; helps that I'm a creature of habit, and rarely venture outside of my three go-to game franchises. The day it finally goes to Console Valhalla is going to be a sad day...
Your videos are so polished, so much work and effort. Great job as always.
My favorite has been the original xBox, it was the most problem free setup. HDD was more than enough for the games and the saves. I miss that console.
It is also important to mention that while getting smaller and including the power supply, the Xbox One S was also slightly faster than the original, allowing it to run certain games and watch video at 4K.
I'm absolutely LOVING this console series! Well done Arun! ✨✨
Same
Yeah, the only consoles left are Sega's and Sony's handhelds.. sad
I really don't understand how he uploads so frequently and the quality is still WAY better than any other channel I watch. It's very impressive, and with the amount of time (and money) you put into your videos, you deserve to get to 20 million subs!
SAME!
True
Sony’s dominance in the gaming industry was something of a masterstroke in how they studied the competition and created a brand that is so iconic nowadays. I’ve never owned an Xbox, I’ve always been a PlayStation and Nintendo kinda guy, but when I remember playing Halo on my friend’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One, I’m honestly intrigued by what Microsoft has been able to accomplish with the Xbox brand. They had the capital backing to make risks of course, but the level of creativity shown off across the generation here is so incredibly cool to see. Even if Xbox doesn’t have the killer AAA IPs that we know from PlayStation (both first and third party releases), you can see how people can resonate with Xbox as a brand, but also as their personal choice for gaming with friends, and I think the latter is what people remember most, the idea of coming home to play with your best mates at school, work, etc.
What killer games ps released exclusive on ps4/ps5 after GOW 2018 none god of war rangnrok , horizon 2 demon souls ... etc copy paste of same shit before 2018 even sony lost it touch last 4 years gaming is dead these days only very less games and im not a nintendo fan
@GFE Returnal was a good game. Ratchet and Clank was very good and fun as well, so was the Astro Robot included game although not many hours long. Another game i loved was Kena the Bridge of Spirits. Other than that as you said it the usual suspects like Spiderman, God of War and Horizon.
Gran Turismo 7 is top notch at what it does and is now becoming a full killer app with PSVR2.
There was also the Last of US 2 that was after 2018 i believe but i don't know if it's considered a great game or not.
Although i don't know how you can say "same shit" exactly when Horizon, Spider Man are basically the second title and the other not even that.
@GFE Clearly you haven't broadened your horizons to appreciate other games.
@One Of Zero Well said, nice examples there.
@GFE are there any killer games on Xbox other than halo and forza
Love seeing you enjoy taking a trip through the history of Xboxes! Also, remember to always *try* to be happy. Even if you feel upset, it's ok, whatever is bothering you will someday get better even through hardships. Always remember there are people out there who love you, and can help you!
You did such an outstanding job making this video, really I personally never give complements to any Clip-Sharer but I couldn't resist and decided to comment. Thank you so much for all these amazing informations and for taking us back all the way to 2001 when I had my first Xbox till today.
Wow, it's amazing to see someone with such a passion for collecting! While I'm not much of a gamer myself, I'm always interested in learning about different hobbies and interests
You should get into gaming. It's fun
I really like my series x. I've had it for a couple of years and have two for a couple of rooms. it's amazing to me when you compare it to many other devices you can hook to your tv. I paid about 400 for mine. I also like gamepass and the fact you can buy disks, and move my old games forward.
this guy is a machine. every video feels handcrafted to excellence. i am loving it
Thank you, means a lot!!
@Mrwhosetheboss really great
@Mrwhosetheboss Thanks your videos are one of the things i look forward to everyday. thanks for make videos
@Mrwhosetheboss He Spoke Fax
When is every Samsung phone video coming
I envy your ability to get all these cool tech collections, that's not to say I don't understand the work you've put in over the years that has given you that ability. At least you're sharing them with us :).
All you need is money, and a couple google searches to make videos like this. It isn't really special, but his video editing is.
@TokyoFool bro we arent rich
Here's to hoping the next one will be SEGA! i know it won't pull in as many views due to having no current consoles on the market but i hope you keep this series up with older gaming hardware like Sega or even Atari
Yeah Sega would be the next obvious choice if he did do more, there are a lot of Sega consoles and even a handheld console!
Yeah, but there's barely people who born in 21st centuries know SEGA or especially Atari. They just dead even before they're existed
@j I mean if you know Nintendo you should know SEGA, but yes as i said it won't pull as many views for this reason.
yeh true
YES
I am currently using the One X but I hope that Microsoft will release a even better version of the Series X. So far I don't feel the need to upgrade to next gen but if they bring out a better console with game that actually really require the power of the new gen I am totally on board
You forgot to mention that the 360 slim had 4 gb ram instead of 512, and also fided the red ring of death. It really was a whole different console comaired to the first. Although the 360 e made no diffrence.
This man covers everything. To brain chips to consoles.
Gotta give him props
*From...to...
But yeah I definitely agree
tech Clip-Share covers tech?? 😱😱😱
@3n3j0t4 Most tech Clip-Sharers don't cover a wide variety of stuff and are usually focused on a specific genre of tech. That's why even Arun's videos are mostly about smartphones.
@MikeDrop grammar police
@Raynbow they're not
What a great video!! 👍 I currently have the Series X, and I'm loving it! The speed, performance, quick resume, graphics are amazing. I also can't say enough about the elite series 2 🎮 ❤❤❤. My favorite console has to go to the 360 for the extensive game library, the way the console looks, the simple organized interface menu. Those were the years when gaming was at it's finest! This is one of the best gaming youtube videos ever! Thank you for bringing back memories! 👍
I have the series x too it has way better graphic quality and speed then my old one s
This dude never fails. When he goes ghost, we know it’s cuz him n his team are HUSTLING to keep us satisfied 💪🥳 🎮
I think some critical details were missing in the history parts, but overall, a good roundup of Microsoft's history getting into console gaming.
But Microsoft definitely lost a lot of personality in trying to appeal to broader audiences.
I enjoyed this. Great description of each console generation.
Proud to say, I have watched every "I bought every" video ever, but gods be good does it feel the ENTIRE video is tuned for the topic, the lights, the location, the VIBE itself. The amazing cinematic shots are underrated though. The fact that you share the experience so smoothly makes the experience of the Video like 1000x better. Thanks for video !
Why do you gave a disklike thou?
@Joshua DreverHoff Why do you care though
Me too I’ve been waiting for him to post one for xbox
Totally!!
Proud of yourself for watching videos? OK then
These console videos are awesome! Keep up the great stuff and enjoy all the fun games you can now play! (You have almost every generation of gaming at your hands. Enjoy!)
gotta admit, that ending shot was strangely satisfying. Just seeing all the xbox in one shot. From past to present, was just awesome. Microsoft truly came a long way
I never had an XBox and never even knew how they looked like (I knew it existed tho but I was more interested in Nintendo and Playstation) but damn that first XBox looks really cool. I actually find almost all XBox Designs really cool.
I am more than a little embarrassed to have owned almost every console in this video over the years. I've had every XBOX since the 360 which was an upgrade from my PS2.
I'm sure someone else has already mentioned it.
On the graphic depicting the difference in power between consoles, when Arun was on the graphic of progress on the Xbox One X, the icon for the original Xbox was actually that of a PS 2 and not the Xbox.
The correct icon was used in prior comparisons as well as the next comparison when he was showing the power increase of the Xbox Series X.
Oh nooo
The production on this video is INCREDIBLE. Kudos to the editor.
Except at 15:05.
I must say I respect you a lot for figuring out how to keep me watching for the full sponsored segment of the video Arun! This is the first time that I didn't immediately click away all because I wanted to see that shot of all the consoles. Not to mention that you presented the information for the sponsor in a very educational and catching way. Well done! You keep improving yourself with every video you post!
Being a galaxy user, this was honestly so fun to watch! Please, more ads like this
PS2 and Xbox 360 were my favorite consoles. Such great memories from both!
The thing I like the best about the Xbox One is that even though there's been 4-ish consoles after it, you can still use it with everything that is new, and play with your friends on the new consoles too!
I had the slim with the Kinect.....still ground breaking technology.....it could sence your hand gestures imagine what good it would do paired with VR
One of the things I love more about the Xbox Series S/X is the Quick Resume feature which allows you to switch between a set of games without closing them, so the next time you open them, you're in the same spot as were you left the game. It makes gaming on the Xbox more seamless imo. That and the initial setup for it can be made exclusively on your phone so you can get everything done more quickly.
It’s so nice
I don't use it, it lags other games and I exclusively play Fallout and MLB the show, which makes the stability of those games much worse.
It fails frequently on me. But the idea is nice
Wow
I'm a ps user and I wish I had that feature
@RoutineHarpy525 never noticed the lag lol
Just as a thing for the Xbox Ones: As I could see in this video, the Xbox Ones were upgraded to the latest software version. I also own a Xbox One X and after the updates the loading times are very very VERY slower than before. This is due to Microsoft pushing Xbox Series X and S software upgrades to Xbox Ones.
SO GLAD THIS CAME OUT! I've loved this series
Please do more! Love these series!!!
Thank you for putting in the effort that you do! It's so refreshing to have awesome content and know it!
15:05 I feel like I'm the only one noticing this. In the chart there's an original Xbox where a 360 should go and a fat PS2 where the original Xbox should go lol. Other than that fantastic video. It really puts things into perspective and brings back good memories!
I noticed too
was looking for a comment that would have noticed this too
@mpvp love your OG Xbox 360 profile pic. Classy.
The production quality of this video is insane 😯 Also very cool and entertaining to see the evolution of my longtime go to gaming console!
These console series are awesome! Really enjoying them. Thanks for these videos
As an owner of the Xbox One S, it's still a great console for gaming and video streaming. Even after getting Switch OLED, which admittedly has a great library of 1st party and 3rd party games.
I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING YOUR VIDEOS MANN . You're sooo amazing, there was sooo much information but you didn't let the vid become boring.✨
Very well made video, but i would like to have a question, where did you buy all of these consoles? which website?
the REALLY cool thing about the One S was the fact that you also had the choice for an all digital version as well without the disk drive. we used it mainly for streaming movies but when we did use it for gaming we didn't require a lot of power since the only game my entire family really played was Stardew Valley. So it was PERFECT.
You bought a console to play Stardew Valley?! 🤦
@Yusuf T-Deen fr
Bro it‘s 6€ in the Appstore why do you buy a 300€ console for Stardew Valley😂
You should try doom 2016 it’s kinda like stardrew valley just with a bigger map
Thanks man. I f8nally upgraded my 360 to the one s last year due to no x series available... was still amazing and streaming games on the game pass was great. Think getting the ssd on x series will be the final pleasure but waiting to see what happens with availability and new gen games.
I remember right before the pandemic hit I purchased a Microsoft refurbished one X for $170 I repasted it and swapped in a 2TB SSD and absolutely loved it! I got so lucky maybe a month or 2 later the one X was unubtainable for less than 400 it was a wild time.
By in large the thing I miss most about older generation games and consoles was the simple task of just popping in a game, and playing. No downloads, no dependence on a network or signing in. Just buy, or RENT, and play. Easy.
I remember the Xbox one had a different type of menu, it was very similar to the one you had in the Xbox 360 Slim but personally I preferred it because it would remind of me of my xbox 360.
I still like the next one but oh God the memories.
Can you stick these to other things like under a kitcen counter? And can you add more if you buy more sets?
I've been patiently waiting for this one. It is just crazy to see how much technology advanced even 10 years ago. You also get an appreciation towards this idea of the XBOX and how successful it is, just like Arun and his editors making awesome content left, right, and center. Amazing job mate!
WHO....... ASKED
Same
@Vihaan Varshney me
playstation better
I asked tho
There was a very good reason for the 360 to have a media remote. Windows Media Centre edition.
I had 4 x 360s and a PC with two dual tuners so instead of needing TV Antenna cables run through the house I would watch TV channels through the 360s while also recording TV from all of the units on the PC and streaming downloaded media from the same PC.
The 360s were a lot cheaper than any comparable set top boxes which could do this.
Can i just say im loving this series of buying every version of a console, keep up the good work arun!
It was so cool seeing Boss Arun playing one of my favorite game franchises
I remember back in 2014 when I was first introduced to the Xbox One by new next-door neighbors. They introduced me to Forza Horizon 2 and Battlefield 1. I remember being blown away by the amazing graphics of FH2 and I immediately fell in love with it. I asked my mom if I could get the console and FH2, and I got them both for Christmas after I paid for half of the price. I still love the Xbox One and I still play it to this day. Xbox player for life!
thats the old blades dashboard on the 360. if im not mistaken, pretty sure its rather rare to get your hands on one that still has that dashboard. Like rare enough that people look specifically for xbox's with the blades dashboard. They updated the dashoard in 08/09, so its insanely hard to find one with blades on it still.
These videos are making me dive back into my childhood. Thank you for making these nostalgic videos!
Ahh, don't you love those pre pandemic days...
Time just flies by these days tbh.
so true
First time watching this channel and i gotta say im very impressed with the pacing and overall production of this video!
Love Xbox controllers. I've had like a dozen PS3 controllers over the years, my original 1st gen 360 controllers still work just fine.
I prefer the bulkiness too, it's way more comfortable for adult hands.
Looking at this makes me appreciate the original xbox so much more
I really wish they kept it similar with the kinda scientific anomaly feel
The way they squandered the Halo franchise is heartbreaking. I remember playing the first Halo and thinking how insanely bleeding edge the game was.
I enjoy your videos although I lack the monetary power to use the gadgets you post, I have a ps3 currently. Sold the Xbox 360 coz of its power surge problems. I just hope one day I also own the consoles that's been released after them. Kudos to you 🖒
You forgot the mention that the Series S can run a lot of games at 1440p too! I can play a surprising amount of games at 1440p 120fps (or some number around that) with no problem.
It really is still good for gaming; but I definitely thought of it being an entertainment machine when I got it too.
Damn, Microsoft really needs to step into the handheld market!
If your lucky 😂😂 the game upscales and downscales😂😂 and never hits 120 😂😂
The S also makes a great emulation box.
Bro what, even series x doesn't get much 1440p 120
@Pommy192 Lucky? I don’t know. I’ve seen it in action in DOOM and it looks good. I maybe should’ve mentioned that it actually has an “optimized” FPS type of thing in most games, and only provides a full boost in some games, but when I physically display the framerate in game it says 120fps, some number around that area, or some number higher than 60fps.
There’s still a noticeable boost either way, and you’re not gonna notice it not being exactly 120fps in game unless you really pay attention.
My point is that it still provides a significant framerate boost
@MrBirchieBirch Yeah, I’ve heard good things about it’s emulation capabilities. I usually just use my PC for that but I could absolutely see how someone without a PC could get some good emulation out of it!
The newest xbox 360 UI is incredible. I recently logged back into my old xbox 360 and was in awe about how new it still feels almost 20 years later. One thing xbox does VERY well at is making everything look incredible.
Maybe I'm just weird but there's something so beautiful about the new Xbox controllers. They are so perfect I love it so much.
Not just that, I've been using the same xbox one from 2015 and it still works very well. I still don't see a reason to upgrade.
Damn xbox I love y'all
so true
Love this sort of stuff. Can you do it for Sega next? and pay special emphasis to the Dreamcast & Sega CD? 😁
U AGREE 👍 💯
I used the original xbox for about 15 years and I always loved it. My father (who got the console) thought that there was no point in replacing something that already worked. It eventually started having problems and we upgraded, but I still miss the old one. It was always such a joy to play with my brother.
Man I remember being absolutely addicted to games like fable and ghost recon on my old Xbox ahhh good times not to mention the amazing early rainbow 6 games
I always love when arun uploads a new "I bought every" series
same, i can’t wait for Sega version
@Crouton God Their last console was back in 1998, sadly.
(Yeah, I know the Sega Genesis Mini exists but I mean this in like their main consoles meaning what's supposed to be the successor of the previous.)
Every PC ever
waiting for :
- every intel cpu
- every amd cpu
- every nvidia card
- every lambo car
same
waiting for every windows version
Looking at those power bricks makes me really appreciate what Sony did with the PS4
As someone who has always had Playstation growing up, I can say that I'm crazy excited that Xbox has finally caught up to PS with current gen(as they're basically identical in performance now) The future of consoles will improve much more when these two giants compete to create the better console for us gamers. Awesome video btw!
They have actaully more overtaken Sony When talking about power, storage, cpu and ram
But Sony still have sold more
@Manxzy I'm aware the Xbox is more powerful on paper, but it's not the same as how it actually performs. Apart from Xbox having Quick Resume & 1Tb storage and the PS having a faster SSD, they're graphically the same and also runs the exact same. There is no noticeable difference when you actually compare them practically and that's great. It all comes down to what games you want to play and that's how it should be:)
Apart from the base PS4, Xboxes were actually more powerful and more efficient to work with. And that power difference was short lived after the One Series X was released. We can yak all we want about PS3's cell processor but that didn't actually translate in better performance, the system was hell to work with.
Playstation's dominance is all about GAMES, GAMES, GAMES, while having a capable and strong hardware.
The only thing I don’t like about the series x is it’s size, it’s pretty big so it’s kinda hard to find a good place to put it
Great video overall. Agree with everything you said having owned almost all Xbox consoles so far.
Great video, I watched it all. Personally as someone who owned a ps1 when it was released and owned every PlayStation I think I’ll be PlayStation till I die.
I think the original Xbox has my favourite UI of any console ever. It is so incredibly committed to feeling like this piece of alien tech with its startup animation of some unknown green substance in a test tube, to the all-green menu elements, even down to the ambient noises in the main menu which sound like the console is intercepting unintelligible signals from an unknown source. It is the most aggressively early-2000's console UI ever, and I absolutely love it for that.
Couldn't agree more. I was obsessed with the whole vibe of the console as a kid.
@Matthew Nolan bro don't forget about those alien sounds 💀
Not the best capacitors though
Not just an SSD that makes latest gen better but also the improved CPU, hence why they can hit higher frame rates.
I played all generations of Xbox until the Xbox one. The home interface was a mess and I never felt like I was there to game, pushing thru constant ads and media players just to get to my friends list or game library. I ended up switching to a PS4 and they were the clear winner of that generation of game consoles, everything was easy to access with no ads.
its crazy how far microsoft doubled down on that PC feel of the xbox in console form, i mean the xbox one ran a reskinned version of windows 10, they're incredibly simular behind the scenes its crazy!
After watching the big three and their console videos, I’m excited for the retro consoles from companies like SEGA or Atari!
This is the definition of nostalgia. 😭
Fr😭
You make some of the most entertaining, well put-together videos on the whole platform.
I LOVE your videos! You are the best tech reviewer ever!👍🤩
Everything changed apart of the controller. What a major stepback. What I meant was the Joystick module thing.
I love these types of vids if you can please make more if there are other consoles
Arun you've came along way. I appreciate the video game content much more than your other reviews for some reason. Seems like home.
Text me using the contact above to claim your prize 🎁🎁🎁
Can’t believe you found an original 360 running on the original “blade” interface. That’s mind boggling to me
As a consoles lovers. This is yet one of the best series on this channel. Really set back a nostalgia
I wouldn't say Halo was only important to Microsoft, in my opinion it was probably the most important FPS game to release period. It's the game that modernized video game controls the way they are today. (If I'm wrong please correct me, as far as I'm aware Halo was what modernized controls)
Xbox with their achievments has truly achieved (no pun intended) THE best system by far to encourage players to get the best out of their games. I own both consoles, but for some reason xbox's achievment system got me way more hooked than sony's which is why i buy every multi-platform game for xbox. Not to mention the controller. Damn you sony for still not giving us shifted analog sticks.
I'm not sure if I missed it but I have the Xbox Series X and the controller vibrates and reacts to the game movements. I think it depends on the game though because no all the time it works. If you play Forza Horizon 5 its SOO cool because when your driving in the game the controller vibrates and shakes so it ads to the experience and makes it feel like your actually driving the car. I just wanted to add that. :) 🤩👏
His level of details are amazing omg, i think he is underrated as a Tech ch
You put in so much effort in your videos that I always feel it's my duty to watch as soon it drops ☺️
This video brings back alot of memories though its was hard to get the first Xbox here in South Africa i had to get the bad boy online and it took weeks for it to arrive here bt when i got my hands on it and seen how powerful it was its changed my love from PlayStation to Xbox till this day
LOVE this series! Definitely deserves my like!
He didn’t talk about how you need to buy the expandable ssd storage to play the games optimized for series x and s. So the $500 console will actually cost you $700 or $900
I remember the reveal of X1. It was all TV, sports, always online, used games license. Microsoft basically handed Sony the win back in 2013
360 was amazing but it was also rushed out to the market. Which is why it had sooo many faults. and wasn’t solved until 2 years later
Let’s appreciate all the work that went into this video. The custom colour theme, the insane editing and how he covers everything about each console. Props to the team. 👍
I was just thinking about this a week ago. How Xbox started to lose it's identity and coolness after the 360 when they decided to tone everything down. Make everything square and similar to the Windows UI. Playstation has done the opposite with the ps5. I feel like now would be a good time for less square UI's to make a comeback. Everything has become too sterile and uniform. People would see it as a defiance to the system. If any devs are reading this.
