It makes sense that Osiris, the person who waves his hands around more than he talks, is the one to guide us through our journey with Strand. He probably accidentally discovered it when getting into an argument with Ikora
Super hyped up for this, and incredibly happy to see the Warlock getting so much love in these trailers: makes perfect sense given the whole "opening your third eye" thing
I hope we unlock strand early on in the campaign. Instead of the suped up stasis points in beyond light (while cool it was too short considering each boss was low health each time) we get strand at the start and it slowly gets bigger as we explore and complete the campaign. That way we can try the subclass and remake it more powerful as we go on. Very excited for this trailer
@Mutant Raze yea but does that mean we get to use it before the end of the campaign vs after we finish the campaign ya know. Would be nice we had to use it at some point to at least navigate a section of the campaign as an intro to the class.
@Justin Govas hey, im just relaying the information I last heard on it, the expansion is supposed to be about the traveler and witness, you knkw the final chapter in the light and dark saga and all that
@justingovas415 we are the first to use it tho. Just because Osiris is helping us control it doesn't mean he can use it, and I bet he only knows about it from savathun
Ok, I must admit, at first I was leaning into going Berserker, mainly because a friend of mine is already doing Warlock, but now the thought of having a bunch of strand minions is starting to lure me into being a Broodweaver
Im going to play berserker only to try it out, but it really needs to not be another version of striker for me to use it outside of the campaign specific points.
Well that was... something. Not a lot shown here we didn't already know but I'm still hesitant about Titan super, just looks like every other "Titan smash with fist brrrr" except green. Hopefully it feels better to use and there's more to it!
@AJAX Don Queso precisely why some of these newbies dont understand that at high end content, you are encouraged to stay away from danger. not running in a straight line to get deleted by 5 ads. thats also the reason why thundercrash was situational. it cannot be used in most oryx encounter for example. as it requires you to stand far away amd be on an aura.
@Steffano Cornejo lazy? i probably have more play hours than you. been playing since d1 beta. the annoying thing with d2 seasonal stuff was its a meaningless chase. making builds that got nerfed the very next season. farming armors and then negated the very next season. farming guns, the same thing. look me up on D2 with the same as my youtube username. i can assure you im not new. problem was simply i cant take the bs that was oh titans have inertia override to make pushes in pvp. lets delete that from the game. oh titans are actually using melting point in raids as a weaken before dps. nope vant have that. lets delete that from the game. and you wonder why people like me left the game. bungie is purposely funneling titans to be the basic of basic playstyle of "herp di derp i wanna punch things ahahahah". do that in a GM and see what happens.
My thoughts exactly. Don't get me wrong, punching things is an ingtegral part of being a titan, and I love it. But it makes a lot of content a lot harder when Bungie encourages you to stay well away from bosses, mini-bosses, and yellow bars. Everything kills you quickly from close up, and everything gets a stomp/pushback mechanic
@eric23443219091 it was used up close for the cinematic itโs most likely gonna be like blacktalon projectiles u have to be dumb if u think they would use the subclasses optimally just so ppl like u donโt cry
@Stubbie from the trailer it really felt that way though. If itโs has the ability to launch us three rooms and onto enemies faces while also trapping the ones around us, I think itโll be something noteable
They really went in with the warlock hard motions, thatโs dope. Now Iโm more interested than ever where the power originates from, like if itโs another darkness power or something new all together ๐ฅ
@Aetreas The only thing even slightly new ever added to titans was thunder crash and it was a useless gimmick until it got a buff and exotic. I've been a titan main the entire run of destiny and they have always been crap.
@Mr Pickles im just sayin, last time D2 players judged an entire subclass as "different color striker" it ended up playing completely differently and was very good to boot. There's certainly something to be said about the lack of creativity in the super department, but people are hasty to judge it so definitely when we still know very little overall about how Strand plays.
It's cool and all to have yet another lunge and punch ability for titans, but I think I'd trade it for some sort of stomp or slam that ensnares or SOMETHING new. I hope there's something that makes this better/different than the current stasis titan because those really need some love.
@El Phantasmogoro both of those are already in the titans kit tho, shoulder charge and thundercrash both get you across the field fast, and are tied to the arc category so you get a speed boost whenever you are charged. Also we have an exotic that can make our barriers make a wave of fire so we've seen that before as well. The subclass is subpar, no matter how op it might end up being it is wholey uncreative.
@Nord Bungie devs said in an interview the charged melee for Titans has 3 charges, tracking and massive range. It's basically using enemies to speed across the battlefield. It's not just a punch.
Maybe its broken but doing the same Thing just with a different colour and some cutterknifes is just underwhelming even if it can oneshot bosses. I just hope Titans got a secret second super variant they just dont show us, and if so even if it is the most useless in game I would play it for creativity
"titans are busted" okay, and every class has been at some point in some part of the game. That's not the point. The new abilities look like the same old titan moves rehashed for the umpteenth time. It's getting real boring. And from the details we have so far they sound like weaker versions of abilities we can get already (void overshield/DMG resistance for example).
Being told Strand is a Darkness subclass, i get the impression that unlike Stasis, which felt more "evil" and we were fighting fire with fire using it, Strand seems more "good". We're told that we're manipulating the weave of the universe or something to that phrasing, and as such, we're simply using the opposite side of the coin rather than relying on a more malevolent force to do battle. THIS would be the type of Darkness Ikora and Zavala would be more inclined to allow guardians to use.
Perhaps. Regardless, weโve seen them slowly shift to a more โgreyโ view on darkness and light throughout the seasons. Zavala realizing that the Traveler doesnโt necessarily care about humanity, or rather favors us, and Season of the Haunted making him realize he needs to let go of the past, and his past ideals. Ikora realizing the Traveler canโt necessarily be trusted, as well that other beings can wield the Light. After all, she did let a rogue Warlock go form prison instead of a trial, as the whole universe is at stake. Slowly but surely, theyโve reluctantly accepted this โgreyโ view on both Light and Dark. Probably realizing, in hindsight, how naive theyโre binary view of both powers was.
It makes sense that Osiris, the person who waves his hands around more than he talks, is the one to guide us through our journey with Strand. He probably accidentally discovered it when getting into an argument with Ikora
Itโs a small detail, but the sound team in this game is unmatched even for trailers. In a showcase of the thread-like subclass, the music is almost entirely string instruments.
Fun fact: The darkness loves to use musical instruments and concepts. A lot. Both darkness subclasses have instrument types tied to them, with Stasis having bells and other percussion instruments associated with it, and Strand having Stringed instruments. There's also the relic on Mars, which has guitar features like a fretboard.
this whole dlc aesthetic feels like a love letter to old halo fans in the sense of how it looks. literally gives me so much halo 3 odst vibes with the city
YOOOO Having Osiris as a tutor is really nice! Also the throw tangle > grapple thing looked real good, all the other moved too ofc, real sick. Still not sure about grapple, since we all have really powerful jumps already, but I am optimistic and we will see (:
@Garrett Viewegh yeah it's like they said back in red war, the Traveller protects itself. Light is not to protect us, but is given to those who can protect the Traveller. It is acting in it's own interest I guess. Just speculation. Kinda funny too that the two most opposite shapes are representing light and dark. A pyramid is the shape with the least amount of planes possible in 3 dimensions while a sphere has the most possible. Anyways, this expansion for some reason feels a lot more significant than those before it. I'm very excited ^^
It makes a lot of since considering: his mind was imprisoned by Savathun, so he would have some idea of how Strand works, having taken some of her secrets. Also, heโd been one of the fist catalysts, before Drifter, Eris, and Elizabeth, to question the nature of Light, Dark, and the intentions of the Traveler. Fast forward years later, turns out Beyond Light and Witch Queen proved Osiris was right: the light and dark arenโt simple moral alignments, and the Traveler doesnโt have our best interests in mind. It only makes since the man that was right all along, would aid us in furthering our understanding of this new โgreyโ paradigm/ideology.
Hunter and warlock look like a lot of fun! Kinda underwhelmed by titan. I'm hoping it's not just another fist of havoc reskin and maybe something unique is in tgerr.
"Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you." --Nathaniel Hawthorne
I like that the Darkness is subverting the Witness by empowering us against it. At least that's how I am choosing to see acquiring additional darkness powers.
The Darkness grants power to any with the strength to Take it. Thatโs why the Witness can use stasis against Eramis and not us. It was given to her, and we took it for ourselves.
I love how the warlockโs and hunterโs abilities turned out. Sending out drones and using a grapple seems awesome. I was a little disappointed with how titan turned out. Maybe I missed something but it feels like another โsmashโ subclass. I would just like something smooth like the other two. Maybe thats just me. Otherwise, great stuff!
Last originial thing the titan got was thundercrash I think, besides small moves like thruster and his diffrent melee attacks. I still hope that there will be a projectile based attack with strand instead of "the hulk go SMASH!!!" moves at least he got claws like prototype now๐๐จ
Iโd have been just as satisfied with Titans getting an Axe, Javelin , or a Mace to wield. But, Iโll probably just use an Arc build. Still, Iโm hoping Dark subclasses get alternative Supers like the Light ones did.
@ThawSomePancakes punching would be more fun if it didnt absolutely suck and get nerfed more and more each season and DLC. But considering worm gods just got cut in half and the glaives dont work with any titan exotics other than feedbacks its almost entirely bad to run. Not to mention in PvP striker/behemoth/maul and sentinel get oneshot by shotguns or snipers, or other supers, or a fucking throwing knife or 3 bursted by pulse rifles. Oh also half the time they dont even hit... Thanks for reading my rant.
@A1Strider โomgg why do titans only punch stuff bungie titans need to be deeper strand sucksโ โomg noo i want to play titan because i want to punch stuffโ
@hei vain actually, it kind of does, if we talk about the composition of a spear, it really is a knife on a stick (a Kunai could be made into a spear from what I've read), if you were to take or in this case break the stick all you'd be left with is the short blade, which would practically be a knife
@F0XHunter Lol of course it has sharp edges, that doesn't make it a knife. The blade of a spear has sharp edges but breaking the shaft doesn't suddenly make it a knife.
@F0XHunter It is literally the same weapon. Just pause the trailer at around 50 seconds, you can see the aforementioned lack of a ringed pommel and the rope following the dart. The melee is the same rope dart as the super.
@hei vain that's the super, the throwable looks like a kunai though, and also, although its primary function wasn't that of a dart it was capable of being used like one. Also look at 1:25-1:26, looks like the "dart" has sharp edges, it could definitely be classified as a knife
Okay so this is what I am getting at with how strand works with all classes. You apply a debuff to enemies and said debuff will allow for infinite melee abilities which ties into the idea that itโs everywhere and you can pull from it at anytime. The infinite meleeโs part ties into the grapple point system where as long as there is a grapple point you can grapple to it even if youโre grapple ability is on cooldown.
Bro this looks so cool. All classes look really good, and truely bring in unique ways to play. IMO favorite is hunter cause like, imagine just hitting a strand dive on a group of enemies and literally tangle them in between reality, then hit them with a knife, kill them all, and then grapple out.
how does strand titan bring in unique ways to play, it has a barricade just like the other subclasses and its super is a roaming punch for the 4th time
Amazing, though I was looking at the notes, weโre gonna need more than just 2 aspects for each class. aspect are KEY to finding new builds, please give us at least 1 more for each
The new supers for some reason remind me of the Fates of Greek mythology. Warlock- Clotho- The Weaver- The Spindle- Weaves the multiple threads of fate into the desired shape of a persons choices and actions Hunter- Lachesis- The Allotter- The Measuring Rod- Measures the length of each single thread of fate to determine a persons destiny Titan- Atropos- The Inevitable- The Shears- Cuts each and every thread of fate, ending that thread permanently
I'm glad I finally get to play a summoner. Really looking forward to spawning threadlings with finishers while running felwinter's helm to give them extra damage
Holy crap did you see that part where the titan punched things!? They are really pushing the boundary on the titan archetype with Strand, and I'm totally here for it. So excited to see how well it does is endgame encounters, especially when you have to hold a plate and the boss is 50+ meters away! Can't wait.
@ThawSomePancakes overlooked in the sense of style. No creativity with the super. Basically smashing everything, but in different colors. That's what I'm trying to express.
@Raikoh067 yeah that would also be a nice idea, maybe with like a provoke mechanic to feel like a Real Tank but yeah, so many opportunities thrown away for another punching super
I mean we could like get some STRINGS to pull enemies and then crush their skulls to make crayons from it but Well lets just jump around and get oneshotted in gm content why not
Okay. This trailer had me giggling. At first I was a bit underwhelmed with Hunters (Hunter main on PC), but after seeing it, I feel like itโs gonna be more OP than the other 2. Crap ton of enemies being affected in a shorter time frame. BUT WARLOCKS! OMG! Those creatures swimming in the ground. I was like โYOOOOOO!โ I canโt wait for Lightfall now.
As a Warlock-Hunter dual main, I was ready to start Lightfall with my Hunter because of how much I've liked the class in 3.0... And then they had to give the Warlcok those crazy and stylish hand movements.
As a titan main I'm not too impressed. Pretty upsetting Titans get another roaming super. Even if it ramps up attack speed to charge the heavy attack. It's just not the fantasy a lot of titan players are looking for since we have it in all of our other subclasses. One more subclass to go I guess. Hopefully Bungie hears the player feedback.
Best trailer for light fall yet!!! The music was hype and visuals were sick. All I ask Bungie is please donโt shirt us on weapons and exotics please ๐
I like that the music in this trailer is mostly string instruments. And with Strandโs green color mixed with the music, it reminds me of the Continental shootout from John Wick 3
The warlock's threadlings remind me a lot of the iceflare bolts gameplay loop we get with stasis. I can't tell what the titan is doing at 0:51, but the way they go from shooting that strung-up Cabal to then casting an ability looks like a Tediore reload from Borderlands.
Idk if Iโm mistaken but I believe the titan melee ability was also shown at 0:39 when the titan dashes between entangled enemies. I believe this is the case because for a split second after killing the third enemy he stops glowing green then seems to perform the super animation for the calling card. This either means the titan has 3 melee charges or more likely it refreshes on either killing or hitting entangled enemies, this seems like it could actually be pretty fun especially with the quick lunge it has.
@Chris G ah yeah 3 charges makes sense, I could definitely see some synergy possibilities that will allow you to get melee ability energy back pretty quick if there is something where you get energy back on kills (maybe entangled enemies) probably could be like a fragment or something
@Chris G They released a blog post with details on strand aspects, fragments, and abilities. Titans melee is called frenzied blade and does have 3 charges that can be chained together.
in a leak awhile back where a bungie dev was sharing some animations on thier artstation, it had a titan with 3 melee charges and a very strand-y green look to the subclass icons. dont take this as confirmation, but I wouldnt be surprised if this is how it goes
It looked like we can eat our grenade to buff the gun somehow with strand. After they shot the vex in a crit kill they did an aoe strand tangle to the others around it.
Thought our Ghost in the beginning was Sagira for a second freaked out! But I was mistaken. The gameplay looks so good, canโt wait to slap the green on my Hunter!
I tend to play titan mostly because he is broken in pve but this time might play more hunter. Titans this time around seems really basic. I also hope that they gonna make hunter pve exotics this time.
@Zap The Sheep I mean yes, it's definitely not a DPS super from the looks of it, so boss encounters aren't going to be the best scenario, and with all the melee based abilities, GMs won't be their home either, but it looks really smooth and fun to play. Maybe we'll be able to make a good ad clear build out of this with assassin's cowl for example.
So basically the darkness subclasses are all opposites of the light solar:stasis void:strand(since void is nothingness and strand is the fabric of reality) now since arc is outputting energy, it only makes sense for the next darkness subclass to absorb energy.
Also, the next darkness subclass will almost definitely be red, orange or yellow for a couple of reasons; First, obviously, is that those colours are already associated with the darkness, second, if you look at a colour wheel you will see that all of the opposites you mentioned are also on (pretty much) opposite sides of the wheel: Solar, a light orange, is opposite stasis, a darker blue. Void, purple, is opposite strand, green. Arc, a light blue...
I get that we should be happy for this and I am. But as a Titan main I just canโt not feel disappointed that itโs another fist superโฆ Ex specially when the other two supers are called Thread runner and Broodweaver. Then you get Berserker, which feels like it has nothing to do with string and thread.
Hunter and Warlocks supers look amazing as usual. Titans, another punchy punch super... don't get me wrong, the Titan strand super looks cool, but I just want a darkness super that isn't a variant of Fists of Havoc..
I'll be honest, the Berserker Titan does look cool, but I'm still rather iffy on it. It's looking like it's going to be like the Behemoth Titan, heavy emphasis on close quarters, just with some ranged capabilities this time
Is this warlock super different than the old one. I remember strand missiles. I personally like the needles a lot more because the missiles just looked a green slova bomb
The hand gestures with Warlock are legitimately some of the coolest animations I've ever seen on Warlock.
@FrozenReaper True Zenyatta lol
I feel like Warlocks got the best things from strand.....and hunters got kinda shafted
MY CLAWS OF AHAMKARA BUILD, UNLEASSSSHED
My Warlock does ninjutsu now
@Adam Brown This. hahahaha
I really like Warlock's reality bending hand gestures, I also like Hunter's melee being reusable like a Titan hammer

Nice profile pic
Excellent use of the violin to add to the strand-filled atmosphere. I hope this carries through to the expansion's soundtrack!
It's my favorite part.

It makes sense that Osiris, the person who waves his hands around more than he talks, is the one to guide us through our journey with Strand. He probably accidentally discovered it when getting into an argument with Ikora
Or he had a eureka moment while getting into it with Clovis' AI
Super hyped up for this, and incredibly happy to see the Warlock getting so much love in these trailers: makes perfect sense given the whole "opening your third eye" thing
Makes sense. We warlock mains can't win in the class competitions and the crayon eaters just punch through the game

Those strand animation looks excellent and wonderful in first person, we need more of this personal power display.

@1 2 That's you
Need to fix the "server" de-sync problem that's been there since beyond light dropped
I have Yondu-type vibes with the seeking projectiles. So hyped to try this out and see what builds I can make with the new buildcrafting changes

@Shane McCallion God if they made it red, or gave it color options I would be ecstatic!!!
@Shane McCallion omg my thoughts exactly! They're next tier bad ass
@Shane McCallion or Spider-Man, doing a sort of web-fu/strand-kata
Itโs giving scarlet witch
That's the coolest thing ever!

The art in general is top notch. No matter your opinion on the game as a whole, you gotta give props to the artists working at bungie.
oh damn you're right. That's pretty cool
Yeah okay...after a week of the seasonal activity, you'll be listening to a podcast just to get through the RNG grind for drops.

The Darkness isn't sentient
@Hi There other way around, she technically took it, it was offered to us on a silver platter
The Darkness grants power to any with the strength to Take it. Thatโs why the Witness can use stasis against Eramis and not us. It was given to her, and we took it for ourselves.
The hand motions for warlock I love them so much I wish we can get a lot of spell weaving stuff like that
I love how the warlockโs and hunterโs abilities turned out. Sending out drones and using a grapple seems awesome. I was a little disappointed with how titan turned out. Maybe I missed something but it feels like another โsmashโ subclass. I would just like something smooth like the other two. Maybe thats just me. Otherwise, great stuff!
Right? Pretty underwhelmed with the green Fist of Havoc
@Garrett VieweghTitan almost got a machine gun :
@Fabian Blum I feel those built in swords and fast attack with them will keep him from being a meat shield and slice and dice some enemies real quick.
I like the way the abilities were activated with the gestures and stuff.
Espero que tenga un soundrack parecido lightfall al de este trailer, que queda perfecto
I have Yondu-type vibes with the seeking projectiles. So hyped to try this out and see what builds I can make with the new buildcrafting changes
I'm having a really hard time keeping my expectations low as usual but this looks so fun.
As a titan man, that titan strand looking hella mid already. The hunter and warlock look awesome though and I canโt wait to try
@A1Strider โomgg why do titans only punch stuff bungie titans need to be deeper strand sucksโ
โomg noo i want to play titan because i want to punch stuffโ
Same. It's a whole mood. Been pretty underwhelmed since we got a glimpse of it. Hopefully they'll let us use our strand grapple with other subclasses.
@BeDopSkePop I wish the titans got a strand flame thrower like in that one art
@Nick54123 stfu sped its obviously striker 3.0
I really like Warlock's reality bending hand gestures, I also like Hunter's melee being reusable like a Titan hammer
@hei vain maybe it is, however look at 1:25-1:26, looks like the "dart" has sharp edges, it could definitely be classified as a knife
The grapple Is a grenade tho
Bro this looks so cool. All classes look really good, and truely bring in unique ways to play.
IMO favorite is hunter cause like, imagine just hitting a strand dive on a group of enemies and literally tangle them in between reality, then hit them with a knife, kill them all, and then grapple out.
how does strand titan bring in unique ways to play, it has a barricade just like the other subclasses and its super is a roaming punch for the 4th time
Amazing, though I was looking at the notes, weโre gonna need more than just 2 aspects for each class. aspect are KEY to finding new builds, please give us at least 1 more for each
I love roaming punch supers. They are super fun and original!
But this one is green so it's original
Can't wait for the part where Osiris is like "Gaurdian it's strandin time" and we strand all over them. (He can't strand Cabal)
@Quail Man that's how Osiris says it, gaurdian.
Guardian *
My guy
I feel like that's more of a drifter line
I canโt wait until Osiris is dead
Wow, so cool, another roaming melee super for Titans. Totally hyped.
The new supers for some reason remind me of the Fates of Greek mythology.
Warlock- Clotho- The Weaver- The Spindle- Weaves the multiple threads of fate into the desired shape of a persons choices and actions
Hunter- Lachesis- The Allotter- The Measuring Rod- Measures the length of each single thread of fate to determine a persons destiny
Titan- Atropos- The Inevitable- The Shears- Cuts each and every thread of fate, ending that thread permanently
As a titan man, that titan strand looking hella mid already. The hunter and warlock look awesome though and I canโt wait to try
I'm glad I finally get to play a summoner. Really looking forward to spawning threadlings with finishers while running felwinter's helm to give them extra damage
Warlock minion swarm will be fun here. Also loving the idea of the Rope Dart for hunters. Fits in super well and can do wonders.
@A2T4R Titan actually looks cool to me. I play warlock and my friends play hunters, hence a bit of favor there to those classes.
@A2T4R i mean titam essentially just got the predator wrist blades
What about Titan? Nothing
@Origins5 bro its gonna make garden so easy
How to combine Mortal Kombat and Destiny 2.
@M1hawk08 I think it's a missed opportunity to not make a tanky subclass focused on the Woven Armor mechanic.
I mean we could like get some STRINGS to pull enemies and then crush their skulls to make crayons from it but Well lets just jump around and get oneshotted in gm content why not
@josh quig How are titans getting looked over? Solar 3.0 and Arc 3.0 were completely broken
Absolutely incredible!! So freaking excited.
Oh this is gonna be fun as hell, can't wait to use these new powers!
0:21 absolutely love this animation.
It's like a fancy spiderman
This might be the supposed triple warlock melee's.
Those strand animation looks excellent and wonderful in first person, we need more of this personal power display.
I am blown away by this! Looks in freaking sane. Massive thumbs up!
Super excited to see what the community is able to pull off with the grappling hook
Nothing makes me feel more powerful than new Destiny 2 abilities.
1:11 I like how three Guardians are standing at the Strand pillar. If we go in with a fireteam, will all three members show up in cut scenes?
Probably just a cool scene done in game to make things look cooler
I like that the music in this trailer is mostly string instruments. And with Strandโs green color mixed with the music, it reminds me of the Continental shootout from John Wick 3
@Clouds I hope they have more strings for the official ost
@Clouds Ah, a person of culture
@Tadej Lapuh I think this is Bungieโs own soundtrack. John Wick scene was Four Seasons: Winter by Vivaldi
Anyone know the music for this?
i was thinking of the continental shootout too lol
This looks really sick, Warlock is eating well it looks like and as someone who loves summoners in games AND mains warlock... I'm eating well soon.
My favorite part of Strand is the death physics... the enemies die like they are being wound up onto a spool of threads.
The warlock's threadlings remind me a lot of the iceflare bolts gameplay loop we get with stasis.
I can't tell what the titan is doing at 0:51, but the way they go from shooting that strung-up Cabal to then casting an ability looks like a Tediore reload from Borderlands.
The Hunters with the rope darts are going to be so fun to use, the animation look dope as hell
@MyNameIsNotPa He clicks his fingers like his solar melee.
You know what else had a quick lunge....shiver strike. Remember what they did. Never forget.
Looks just amazing. Something fresh finally
Man, the trailers keep hyping me up more and more, and the ending jingle just soothes me.
Honestly the more mobility I get in d2 the better. I'm not playing this but the trailer was fire
Getting Dr. Fate vibes with the warlock melee animations ๐ I can't wait to become a Broodweaver
Grapple is going to be amazing thank god they made it for all three classes
Not liking the titan super (as everyone else) but the warlock and hunters look amazing!
The little lightfall motif at the end is so good
I remember an old concept for D1 where Osiris was supposed to be our mentor. I'm happy to see Bungie using the idea for Lightfall
The warlockโs attacks and movement of hands makes me think of them as a summoning battle monk!๐
@Diasilveus Probably works with the necro gauntlets which is gonna be fun.
Wonder if it works with striga
It looked like we can eat our grenade to buff the gun somehow with strand. After they shot the vex in a crit kill they did an aoe strand tangle to the others around it.
Me, tries it - immediately re-equips Thundercrash ๐ I cant help it it's just so fun
0:10 that Titan lunging from Goblin to Goblin is too clean๐ฅถ
Had to keep replaying it
Finally something cool for us Warlocks! Teh hadn movements for the Warlock reminds me of the Scarlet Witch ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ
Dude the fact that I had a feeling that Osiris would be teaching us strand. Thank you bungie ๐ญ๐ค
I came just in time to playing Destiny 2 huh?
Yessir
Isnt it the same for you every season? Just team killing your friends for content? (No offense)
Gg Macro is now sucked into the Destiny 2 rabbit hole with us.
welcome to the destiny community :)) BUCKLE UP
you still haven't said sorry for saying shadowkeep was better than forsaken btw
Thought our Ghost in the beginning was Sagira for a second freaked out! But I was mistaken. The gameplay looks so good, canโt wait to slap the green on my Hunter!
I tend to play titan mostly because he is broken in pve but this time might play more hunter. Titans this time around seems really basic. I also hope that they gonna make hunter pve exotics this time.
makes me want to get back into it, but imma be patient n wait for a bit after it comes out.
Our Guardians are literally wielding the Matrix at this point lmaoo I love it.
I donโt care if itโs good or not, I still absolutely love how itโs gonna look with my Hunter.
@eric23443219091 My brother in Light, it hasn't even come out yet
@ScottishWraith We are all Lloyds.
nerf hunter strand subclass
Frankly, the super looks like the same animations as the original arcstrider. I don't have high hopes for its usage.
still donโt know how I feel about this expansion but Iโll try it out when it releases
So basically the darkness subclasses are all opposites of the light
solar:stasis
void:strand(since void is nothingness and strand is the fabric of reality)
now since arc is outputting energy, it only makes sense for the next darkness subclass to absorb energy.
Also, the next darkness subclass will almost definitely be red, orange or yellow for a couple of reasons; First, obviously, is that those colours are already associated with the darkness,
second, if you look at a colour wheel you will see that all of the opposites you mentioned are also on (pretty much) opposite sides of the wheel: Solar, a light orange, is opposite stasis, a darker blue. Void, purple, is opposite strand, green. Arc, a light blue...
Honestly, looks dope. Seems like each class has something that makes it feel more like it's own.
Titan super ๐
Bungie has been so incredibly on point with their music lately bruh this slaps
I get that we should be happy for this and I am. But as a Titan main I just canโt not feel disappointed that itโs another fist superโฆ
Ex specially when the other two supers are called Thread runner and Broodweaver.
Strand looks like so much fun! Good job Bungie!!
Wow, #1 on trending. Never seen a Destiny game being #1. Must be that good
No other game has ever made me feel this level of excited just to hear another outstanding piece of their soundtracks! Phenomenal job as ever, Bungie!
Warlock melee looks dope as heck!
Honestly Iโm just excited to finally have a subclass to match my green glowstick fashion
Same
Hell yeah, green is my favorite color
Veistโs armor sales gonna be bigger than their weapon sales next season.
Gambit Jadestone Gang!!
Fashion is the one and only true stat
HUNTERS WE EATIN' GOOD.
Iโm so ready for this!! ๐
Finally good warlock footage and it looks amazing
