This organization has been like this for 27 years. It's frustrating being a Cowboys fan (since 1970-71) and the problem will always be Jerry Jones. Him being the OWNER/GM will forever crippled the Cowboys so I don't see a end to this misery.

😂 it’s gonna be ok brother! One thing stood out to me, Dak wasn’t changing the play at the line, like he did last week.

Once TP got hurt all my hopes went down the drain, even if they pulled this game out they had no chance next week. Zeke hasn't averaged 3 yards per carry since the Eagles game and we just kept starting him. Another week where the corners just sat on our routes cause they knew what was coming, then Gallup seen the corner cut in front of him on that interception and did nothing to stop him. He didn't even try to tackle him, just threw his hands up. That 2nd and 2 play left a bad taste in my mouth the rest of the night, just horrible play management. You run play action on 2nd and 2, what has Zeke done all year running out to play WR? They mismanaged the development of Jalen Tolbert also, they treated him like he came from the University of Alabama instead of the University of South Alabama. It's hard enough for a WR to learn one position but to try and teach him 3 positions in his rookie year is just dumb as hell. This organization is not set up to win at all, too much BS going on in the background. I didn't mind them letting go of Amari but they never replaced him with a decent WR at all, we started the season with Dennis Houston, Noah Brown, and Simi Fehoko opposite of Lamb. That's just a failure on so many levels.

After 27 years of Dallas not getting far in the playoffs you can start feeling the numbness set in and the excitement for the new season start to wear off and feel uninspiring. Any new talent coming in either from the draft or from free agency, any new big signing, or any new coaching talent being hired it all becomes "Yeah, good move but we'll see". It's nothing new anymore.

I had the same thoughts Shango. When they lined up 5 wide there, I thought Dak was gonna QB draw because why would they throw there? They needed to keep the clock running so San Fran didn't have time to go down and score before half. Even if they run twice and don't get a first down, you still get the 3 points and leave San Fran with little time to drive down the field. I was shocked when Dak threw the ball and of course it falls right into their hands. But they did it to themselves and they can't stay out of their own way. I am proud of the defensive effort, they played good enough to win that game and to hold that team to only 19 points, job well done. I wish I could say the same for the offense. The game was decided on that 6 point swing before half along with pollard's injury.

Honestly I'm surprised the game was this close. I think that SF is better than they were last year and we are worse than we were last year, so I expected the game to be the same as last year but worse. I get the stuff about the team just being "dumb". I thought under Parcels they could be a bit too conservative but overall they played smart. I think that's the last time they played smart. It's been like 17 years of ever increasing dumb ever since then. I feel like in the mid to late 90's and early 2000's, it was very poor drafting that did the lion's share of the collapse of the triplets dynasty before it should have and then kept the team mediocre for years afterwards, but for probably a good 10-12 years or so this team has been very good at drafting great talent but too stupid to become an elite team regardless.

I feel like Shango is living his darkest timeline. When Dallas won the Superbowl 3 of 4 years back in the early '90s he was likely a young impressionable fan and winning Superbowls became the MINIMUM acceptable yearly result. And is it ever hard to overcome the expectations of youth. But since then the Cowboys have done nothing for a generation relative to his expectations and he has been unable over those years to accept the basic mean reality of being a sports fan. And each passing year becomes more tortuous that the last. Darkest timeline for sure.
