as someone who’s been listening to g since been on came out, i was here through these things happen, when its dark out, fell off around the beautiful and damned era, but just recently started really deep diving into his music again, this song hit composers different and as soon as i heard the first beat drop i cracked a smile. the entire song just kept those amazing vibes and the lyrics matched the energy i used to get from his music. love this, hope he keeps it coming.

I'm not going to lie. I really like his music video. The lyrics really resonated with him to get back to doing music and describes the pitfall from being on top and then falling off.
I say a couple years back, I think it started when the Halsey Fiasco was going on and between losing his mother, and these things happened too, failed to hit the charts. It kind of stunned he's growth and cause year-long hiatus.
But with the song and him back, I think he's going to to a brand new story about being on top, staying on top, and falling off the top and rising back up to the top.
