This was definitely one of the strangest experiences we’ve ever had. Traveling to the Damanhur community in Italy and being allowed to come document their world was a confusing and fascinating experience leaving us with more questions than answers. So we hope that you take everything in here with a big grain of salt. We got very close to not posting this story and feel we did our best to see represent our experience. Enjoy the ride…

We’re back! And… what.. a strange adventure.. We honestly got quite close to not sharing this after filming it but after sitting on this footage for a while we decided to release it. Our friend @LexieLimitless told us about this place a few years ago after she already went to visit. She came with us to help us capture this unique experience, and we recommend checking her channel out if you haven’t already :) clip-share.net/user/LexieLimitless

@Magnus - But if there is no ressurection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised; If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.
We are even found to be misinterpreting God, because we testified of God that he raised Christ whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.
For if the dead are not raised , then Christ has not been raised.
If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.
Then those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished .
If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men to be pitied"
      (1Corinthians 15:13-19)
He who walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises him"(Proverbs 14: 2)
Do you hate Jesus because you have broken the 10 commandments? Are you a lying, adulterous thief , disobedient to parents and authority and an idolater at heart?

@Spice Smuggler he never said he believes in ghosts and aliens but he always was open minded enough to talk to people who believe in those things with compassion and understanding because he accepts the fact that there are many different people in this world with different beliefs and views and it's their right to do so, he doesn't put anyone in a box as a "weirdo" or "crazy" or "naive" like it makes others opinion and beliefs less valuable than opinion of "normal" ones. He's respectful and open minded.

@Spice Smuggler He's certainly more sensitive than you, which probably wouldn't be too hard. One of a few that don't want to venture down the rabbit hole of existence?
Ghosts are just visiting spirits and aliens are just unknown life forms in the universe. It is US that put a weird and scary stance on them.
Also Yes Theory behavior is designed to play out or dramatize what's happening, to keep you entertained. They are pretty good at it, aren't they?

@Spice Smuggler in all their videos Ammar has not ever shown himself to be gullible or naive, but he is in touch with his feelings and is open minded, which is hard to find in people today. If they did not feel ok with this stuff they would have backed out.

Assuming that I don't like closed communities and sects, they give me a sense of imprisonment, I can say, as an Italian, that in Italy we are very skeptical about Damanhur. Experiences like 'astral travel' have no scientific basis and are therefore hard to believe. But what strikes me about this community, having seen several videos and television programs about it, is that people are calm, I see them at peace with the world and nature, so there is certainly something positive in the experience of life they are leading.

Without regarding how real or fake this civilization's beliefs are, this is a perfect model and example of how ancient legends came to light. And this society has been around for very little relative time, already coming up with all these different stories (real or fake it doesn't matter), we can now see how ancient civilizations' myths and stories sort of developed. We need to study this society more, so that we can further our understanding of other ancient societies.

I love to see people living creatively with a purpose, creating their own mini-society based on the values and ideals they want to have in their world. I was a little embarrassed at the twilight zone asides of the video makers, and it was obvious that they had rather rigid ideas about what is real and desirable, but the openness of the people who welcomed them and who were quite aware of the immaturity of their guests, and yet didn't care at all about it told me that they had a great understanding of how to get along in the world. Kudos to the video makers for their pioneering spirit and worldwide explorations.

@Phedre No wait, I want to think this through more fully...
My first thought would be that demons are evil. If love is putting others before yourself, then evil is putting yourself before others. Or more particularly actively harming others. So how is a bunch of people building a pretty house evil?
But suppose instead you go with a literal interpretation of the Gospel. Jesus said the two greatest commandments are to love God and love your neighbor. So perhaps following a non-Christian religion is itself evil? But that would suggest that the billions of non-Christians theists in the world are evil, which, going back to my original comment, is a bit much.

Thank you for deciding to post this! Regardless of sceptics and still feeling not sure about what happened, isn't that exactly what your channel is about? I love how you are sharing your own discomfort in this video and reading the reactions, how much discomfort it triggers from so many. I've been watching this video with great pleasure, it felt like around every corner there was a new surprise. People tend to put a label on everything and are confused when they can't. Some might call it a cult, others a microsociety, others a spiritual organisation, I guess the only right word is the name they gave themselves and that is what they are. As you said, if they are not hurting anyone but becoming productive, creative and live happily, why would any outsider need to judge it? Well done for the storytelling, i think it's one of your most honest videos and would actually love to see more content that even triggers us as watchers to a new level of discomfort. As one of my favourite quotes say "comfort is the enemy of progress", which is why I amazing you gave us something to progress in our minds.❤️
Ps: Amar, you're such an incredible addition to these travel videos. So happy to see you there too!

Nice! It looks like a beautiful place and lovely community. That's really cool that you spent time there.
Is there much of an issue with the local people against the group? Or is the group not really considered a bad thing locally? I can see how people would maybe brand these people a 'cult' but I don't detect any leader figure making millions out of it and I don't think anyone necessarily has wrong intentions in there. Perhaps they are a group of misunderstood people in the main?

TY, I hadn't even heard of this and in my own case I spent time in a few Hermetic orders (AMORC, BOTA, etc.). My take on this stuff first and foremost - it can be incredibly helpful, not just in terms of health and internal holism but also in the self-authoring context, to be able to amphibiously play in these spheres, the trick is you have to explore it on your own, find what works for you, and not let anyone tell you that there's 'one way' to do it (though it helps to see how deep some of the systems go). The idea is that all of it very well could be auto-suggestion, the trick is then to look at the autosuggestion as a toolkit and figure out the different ways you can leverage it to heal when needed but also be able to shift your own gears more manually and take the maintenance of your own internal psyche in a more hands-on manner. For magick and anything like that at this point - I really don't know, I've found enough that's of value without needing to stress external validity of internal experiences that I stay open-minded to the possibility that we might be dealing with broader forms of consciousness (a lot of interesting theories pop-up like Hoffman and Prakash's Conscious Realism or Wolfram's hypergraph and rulial space which tied out with panpsychism or functionalism go to the same place) but - to be utterly fair to those who are more skeptically inclined, we even know now that DMT can carve off seemingly autonomous entities within us in waking states the way we'd experience our landscapes in dreams, so by that point trying to pin something down as truly external rather than internal seems like like an exercise in futility. That's where you really have to lean on this stuff pragmatically on one hand and keep your sense of survival and threat salience well ordered at the same time.

Wow I'm flabbergasted! This is like nothing I have ever seen. Some things they do and say are a little strange to me, but to be honest most of it is not that unusual when you are interested in spirituality. A lot is quite common. Like the idea that everything is happening at the same time. The temples and the artwork though are so incredible and magical! I just must visit this place to see for myself and feel what's happening there. I'm going to make it happen one day soon I hope. So curious how it's going to feel to be there. Thanks for sharing! And thanks that you are so transparent and honest when making a video like this. You are so real and inspiring because of it! I love it! 🙏🏼❤️

absurd, weird, well... so you know everything they practice as far as crystals future/ past and so on, is all possible through meditation - meditation opens you up to supernatural abilities over long amounts of time and effort. Those people have created an environment that is tailored to spiritual evolution. It is actually very astonishing. You can do amazing things and when you are able to do those amazing things you have evolved enough to not care about showing them off

if you believe in god you are as absurd as them at least to me. when people think others religion are ridiculous it always makes me laugh when I ask what they believe in. Even if they believe in nothing. Believing in nothing is as absurd as believing in something.

Such a fascinating place and experience you all had going there. A few years ago I met a man and his daughter. We had a very interesting conversation in a WAWA. He told me he was from 30 years into the future. He had on the most unique beautiful amulet. Not only was it on his chest when her turned their was another one on his back. The most unique jewels were all over both sides. He allowed me to physically touch them. They definitely had energy contained within them.

They respond to all the stuff that's religious though. When they did the Hindu stuff they acted the same way. Most of this is just the possibilities your mind thinks of. It's just picking thoughts out of your mind and creating stories, the human brain is crazy and this is how it works. It's the same as dreams, whatever your brain pulls up first, it throws it in a melting pot. Their minds are just cycling through things they already have learned. You will notice through all these things that they never bring up things that are new to them, things they haven't discovered. If this were truly brought from past lives, they would "remember" things that they didn't already know, but their brain is just pulling up things they already have known as said before.

Oh man I went here over a decade ago and stayed for 2 weeks, getting a full tour. The trip was organized by artist Alex Grey. I read an article about the place in What Is Enlightenment? magazine and it sounded cool and also saw an ad in the same magazine that Alex Grey was taking a group so I was like fuck it, I'm gonna go.
I can honestly say everyone I met there was lovely. We even got to have dinner and hang out in regular people's houses there. I met people my own age at the time (I was 22 then), many of whom had grown up there, and they were totally down to earth and chill, but the one girl I really talked to said she was probably not going to stay living there but had nothing bad to say about the place. It was like a kid growing up in a small town, she wanted to live in a proper city.
So yeah after 2 weeks there and having countless interactions with the people there, they all seemed shockingly normal, just decent people trying to live their lives. Also as a community they have a wonderful sense of humor and they live mostly normal lives on a day to day basis. Sure the ceremonies they have are pretty out there, but most people in the community just live a normal day to day lives and are generous and caring towards one another and also good to other locals that aren't part of the community.

Its more your awareness of what is good for you, your consciousness rised higher, your vibration changed and then the desire for bad things will disappear. That's no religion, thats spirituality. This is possible in many ways and if u believe that jesus helped you, then that's your placebo and that's great. But dont bring it to other people as absolute truth. The art and craftsmanship is incredible but as an artist that goes to art uni, in all honesty it looks AND SOUNDS like a bunch of eccentric art students just left to start their own lil masterpiece cult. But i agree as long as they live happily without hindering others lives and forcing their beliefs onto others, it's totally okay. Also I'm Polish and the entire temple and place gave me "Akademia Pana Kleksa" vibes, which is a very old iconic Polish movie with strange noises, visuals and magic mixed with science colorful storyline.

Like high c02 levels would explain a lot, for that particular instance. Hopefully they've got hidden ventilation tho, especially when artists are down there adding new bits for who knows how many hours in a row.

From the types of experiences they described it really felt like they experienced something very unusual. It takes courage to admit to yourself that you had an experience that you can not fully explain, rather then making up some theory about it to reaffirm yourself because you are scared of the possibility that you might have been wrong about something. I 'm not a theist, but I do value being honest with yourself, even when it threatens your current believes about something. Because there is always a possibility of learning something new (it doesn't have to be magic per se, but there could be a lot of explanations why you have a certain experience, the point is being honest with yourself that it happened rather then repressing it). Cognitive dissonance is a typical occurrence for both theist sand non theists; and from my perspective it seems less relevant to question of why something happened before allowing your mind to acknowledge THAT it actually happened, otherwise our mind will repress it and fill it up with false memories. You don't always know the answers right away, but in order to fit the pieces together, you need to make sure you are dealing with an undistorted memory of those pieces in order to be truly transparent with yourself.

This looks like a very interesting place, maybe I’ll visit it one day. Not sure what their beliefs are completely about but much of what they were saying in this video I understood for the most part. Interesting though. Amazing underground structures, pretty cool artwork & quite Cathederal type vibes. I wonder what you’d think of Findhorn, in Scotland? I found it amusing that they called Past Life Regression “time travelling”….never heard it being referred to as such before, but yeah it is kinda. They talked about it being built on a convergence of Ley lines too. Ley lines or Energy lines/dragon lines are very real & can be dowsed for. We have 4 major Ley lines converging at St. Michael’s Mount here in Cornwall UK- they are the Mary/Michael/Apollo & Athena lines. (You can look up the work of Hamish Miller on them). There is a complex grid of Ley Energy lines encompassing the World. There are nodal points & many sacred sites around the globe 🌎 are situated at these. Also, interestingly, churches were built on Ley lines. When you look at the Michael Line for instance, all the way along it in England, there are St. Michael churches & on the Mary line, there are churches dedicated to Mary. Of course before the Church came to these lands, where the church’s were built, were indigenous sacred sites. The men of the churches just replaced & incorporated ancient beliefs & understandings for their own ends. Basically ancient knowledge got hijacked & reinterpreted into another form, loosing much in the process.

I agree with you. I think that it's absolutely beautiful, and there's a reason that it gives us that sensation of awe and well being.
To see the interconnectedness of all that is existence is an experience that can be the most beautiful thing that one can possibly experience in this reality.
On the other hand in the hands of certain types of people that experience can start to twist into frame control... ironically the beauty starts to slowly deteriorate from that point on.
The people and the founder of that place clearly understood some deeper aspects of the human mind. Whether or not you choose to believe the messages that are
portrayed will be inevitably up to you... if you choose to believe in free will in the first place that is. lol
