It’s like Nightbirde came back to the stage as an angel dressed in white to say hi and let Simon, the judges and the whole world know that she’s okay. She is not in pain and she’s singing with absolute joy and freedom now.❤
Totally came back to let us know that she's ok💜💜
It was Amazing ❤
I agree!
She’s flying with the birds & in the stars ✨
Unbelievable & stunning!!! As well as life changing.!!!
Jane’s song is the first original Song in AGT to get the Golden Buzzer twice! Powerful song, Powerful women! RIP 🌹
How magnificent is that😮😮.
Nightbirde sang it on a mission and this lovely choir did too.
The song has powerful message for mission of perseverance.
And both Golden Buzzer began from the Simon's will, the hardest one.
Im a grown man but this whole audition and the words from the judges had me rolling in tears. What a tribute to Nightbirde
Me too
Mee three.
Nightbirde, you've got a second golden buzzer, RIP Beautiful soul ❤❤❤❤❤
Who is Nightbirde ?
@Lola BEANZ 🍄 Google was made for your question.
@Lola BEANZ 🍄 a very special soul.. a strongest women i know
A positive motivating voice
She stole my heart i wont ever gonna be the same agan
Its hard to answer who she was, i dont wanna cry this time
It's Important that People know that I'm So much more than the Bad Things that happen to me! Night Birde!
@Lola BEANZ 🍄 she was a contestant from 2021 who's talent, strength and wisdom let Simon to give her the Golden Buzzer. She was battling cancer when she auditioned and had to withdrawal because her health was deteriorating. She finally succumbed to cancer in 2022 at the tender age of 31. But more than her music, it's what she said to Simon that moved the heart of the world..........."You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore to decide to be happy."
the way they stayed with their heads bowed until the audience stopped cheering, clearly giving that ovation up for jayne herself… beautiful!
Simon pushed the buzzer for Nightbirdie and now he made the world push this for her. It’s amazing and beautiful tribute.
Dawg don’t make me cry more
❤
Says it well 👍
Nightbirde said, “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.” Her song is very meaningful to everyone from the bottom of our hearts. And they deserve to get not only the group golden buzzer, but also everyone’s golden buzzer.
Her memory will live on
No words!
Amazing!
Awesome!
What a tribute to Nightbirde
This was beyond beautiful and to honor Jane's memory and discovered the tears from the judges. Genuine beautiful choir from South Africa!!!! I believe Jane hears this in Heaven with a smile.
@TheVoicesOfDavis 💯 forever that song full 💯
Now i say: "You can't wait until life isn't happy anymore before you decide to be hard"
This is beautiful and soul touching, nightbirde's legacy lives on. Just amazing...
Many things are correct here: Song choice, attire, voices, energy, moves, the swag from the lady who started singing, collaboration with Zoe (tall lady) and other members of the choir, WOW! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU SOUTH AFRICA.
Nightbirde just got her second Golden Buzzer. Her legacy continues. Such an inspiration.
Who is nightbirde ?
@lolahall4641 A young woman with a beautiful voice, who’s name was really Jane, she came to AGT in 2022, and sang a song called “It’s Okay” and it was about how she was suffering from cancer, and she was so bright about just living her life while she could, and saying that she’s okay, even though she wasn’t okay, she had a beautiful smile and a lovely heart, she will always be remembered In people’s hearts. I miss her so much 💔😢🕊️
@Itz_Vintage Sunset ok
An Angel
@Ifeanyichukwu Ossai Yes she is, I miss her so much 🥲💔
So proud to be a South African! We may endure hardships, but we always prevale ... that is just who we are ... 🇿🇦
And we are the most talented people around ... there is not a sector around the globe where you won't find some South African shining!
I am proud so proud to be a South African.Well done Mzanzi youth choir. What an amazing tribute to an amazing soul!!!
❤❤❤❤❤ 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
"We are the Scatterlings of Africa" I feel that so much listening to your music.
Madre mía si entender lo k dice me llegó al corazón 👏👏👏
As a South African from Johannesburg, I know this choir and how talented they are, but I didn’t know that they we’re entering AGT. When I saw them appeared on stage, I knew that they would not disappoint but I wasn’t ready for this kind of tribute that left me in tears. Well done to them and I’m so proud.
We can't agree more.
they are so good a powerful song
South Africa sent a very powerful message of love and hope. The sound of their voices and the sweet energy of their dancing brought me to tears (a rare occurrence) and that is what the world needs.
Thank You.
As a Saffa living abroad this made me so so proud to be a Saffa
You’re so sweet!! What a blessing for your people to share their beautiful spirits and voices and passion with us!!
Another South African weighing in: Yes, we have some of the greatest choirs in the world! We're a nation that shows our emotions through song. Thanks Mzanzi Youth Choir, you've done us proud, again.
Profile your country
😮❤0
This is just brilliant. The song and its association with Nightbirde is the powerful foundation, but the musical arrangement, the harmonies, the rhythms, the power of their voices, the choreography, the costumes and make-up. It's just perfection.
Yes. I love this song 🎵
I have watched this audition like 100 times now and I’ve gone back and forth between this and Nightbirde’s audition. I have cried every single time and I’ve drawn strength from both auditions. “You cannot wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you are happy”.
Same here ❤😊
Am doing the same move back and froth the two auditions
👍👍🤠
Same here.. As a man, I've never been teary let alone this much..
Such a sweet soul 😓❤❤❤❤❤
❤
I watch this over and over! Just a beautiful performance, will never get old to me
Me too.
As a South African living in the US, I am so proud of the Mzansi Youth Choir and their absolutely beautiful performance and tribute.❤
A absolutely wonderful audiisn
This just goes to show the power of Nightbirde’s music! She is the ONLY previous contestant whose music was covered by another contestant. Well deserved Golden Buzzer!
Yeah, really just her and Calum Scott
@Oblivion CST Although, only Nightbirde who never get the chance to pursue the glory in AGT. Her condition worsened before she could go to the actual competition and she seems to have a good shot at winning the whole thing. But, at least she left the world, leaving behind a legacy that everyone will remember, her music and how her music make the world feels.
Ummm????
@Joshua Amadeus Ishak soo true.... her legacy keeps on growing...
OMG...the most touching golden buzzer ever! Sir Simon and to the rest of all judges.SALUTE YOU!
Nightbirde's spirit lives on. I loved her and Mzansi Youth Choir did justice to her beautiful song. Love you guys, this is beautiful. What a tribute, Golden Buzzer deserved. ❤❤❤🎉
The tribute was beautiful. The sentiment powerful. One thing I can't help but notice is how beautiful and powerful this particular arrangement of the song is. The musicianship they displayed is even harder when the song is so emotional.
The message. The song. The performance. They may even win this competition, but THIS is the moment the world will remember and be touched by for years to come
.
I can’t think of a group better to have done this tribute. Jane was a pillar of positivity. She once said her survival chance was 2%, but it wasn’t 0% so it was something. In the face of adversity and in the face of her fight.. she has pushed awareness through her music about cancer and so much more. 1 person touching so many lives. Then seeing that it was more than. She ever could have imagined. I love this group and already want them to win! I can’t wait to see what’s next, but I have played this over and again because I love their voices and their dance. I hope they inspired more people.
I was touched when she said i have 2%chanceof surving, i wish people knew how messy it is, saying it with a smile on her face, i just felt it, living knowing you will die s soon, it wasn't easy, was touching, may her soul continue resting in peace.
@Cheptoo Dinah was that a typo? she said she wished people knew how amazing it is...
@Angelina Jacobsen from the interviews she said that 2 percent is better than zero, she meant little time left for her to live, she said how I wish people knew how messy it is to know that .
I came back here after their spot in the finals. This is such a beautiful rendition. Congrats guys
Wow... This hits hard in a deep spot. Can't count how many times ive listened to this audition. Simply perfect...
I’ve listened so many times too and I know I’d still listen again. Didn’t know about Nightbirde till I saw their performance and then I went to search her up. She’s such an inspiration.
Same😊
Right it is Amazing 😢
I keep watching it over and over😢💔
"You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy." -Nightbirde RIP
The wisdom this woman had was just mind blowing. Sometimes I just listen to her interviews when I need strength.
🥰🥰
When was she die?
@RahmawatiJane (Nightbirde) passed away February 19, 2022.
She also said when the doctors told her that she only had a2 percent chance of living ,she replied at least it better than no chance at all
Nightbirde's second Golder Buzzer not just with her alone but with this folks with Golden Voices. We missed you Jane . 😢😢
Amazing tribute ❤❤❤ What amazing talent and I’m SO glad Jane knew they had recorded it and loved to see such an amazing honor!!! Jane had a rough life and always tried to reach others through her music. This is incredible!!
Jane used her 2% to made an impact in the world and yes she did. She touched billions of people’s heart through her song and this is a clear manifestation of it.
I’m sure she’s smiling from above 😇
I have watched this countless times...I just can't get over how beautiful a tribute this is...and Howie's reaction...priceless!!!
I keep watching this over and over and over. It's so beautiful from their voices, the sentiment, to the choreography and spirit. Their choreo is sooooooo good. Can't wait to see their next performance.
Me, too.
Realll I’ve already started my ritual I’m on day 4 and I’m just STARTING to appreciate the choreo bc i was so mesmerized by their voices.
3:31 this has to be one of the best moments in the vid for me
@Vi❤❤me too. I cried so much 😂😂😂
What a way to honor one of the most iconic AGT performers of all time. And the choir themselves are very talented!
Jane was a phenomenal Woman. A brave and inspiring person. I think of her often, and her amazing strength!❤
That was so beautiful, heartfelt and just mesmerizing absolutely incredible Jane was such an inspiration and her voice was so beautiful. As soon as she started singing I remembered the song. That was fantastic that in so little time people around the world were touched by her words.
❤Absolute perfection! Thank you!!❤
I can't stop crying.....
Woo-hoo am 500🎉🎉🎉
I love & admire this choir! 👏Beautiful heartfelt tribute! Loved it! ❤️
This performance, combined with the original audition from Nightbirde, is the most amazing and emotional thing I've ever seen on AGT. Keep singing in the heavenly choir, Jane! ❤
At 7:58 Simon, despite all the celebrations, the audience cheering, the other judges looking around and engaging each other, is alone and thinking of Jane. The choir gifted him with a beautiful echo of her and it shattered him
He is a very good man
Nightbird passing hits him too deep and thats one was for you Simon
I love that they bowed their head in a moment of silence after the song was over.
Knowing or unknowingly, that was an honour to the night birde. RIP and well done fellow South Africans.
This was indeed a fitting tribute. It's like Nightbirde has gotten a golden buzzer all over again. I am sure she is smiling up there. She impacted many lives around the world.
This makes me more emotional. Nightbird, we miss her.
That was my exact thought! She got the golden buzzer twice ❤❤
You said it best, "It's like Nightbirde has gotten a golden buzzer all over again." Indeed. Amazing
This might be the best audition of all time on AGT. It was everything. It was like a cleansing ritual performed for all the strong emotions that hit us all when Nightbirde had to go. It was intimate and all was on the table - nothing hidden. Terry with his big heart, all of the judges, Simon's broken heart and perhaps above all, the compassionate and honest audience screaming their emotions out. What a gesture to give the audience the power to give a golden buzzer. It was an enchanted experience. And Mzansi... beautiful humans who performed perfectly and carried themselves with so much wisdom, grace and sweetness. The way they looked, the way they sounded and moved and how abruptly the song ended, just like sweet Jane's life... omg, I'm crying as I'm typing this. An unforgettable and incomparable event. Everyone's compassion brought so much fate and hope for our world and humanity. Thank you, Mzansi, audience, AGT and thank you 💖Nightbirde💖.
8:59
@Dominic uduak ekong 8:59 is the end of the video. Perhaps you wanted to share another moment? This happened to me once before as well. :)
I cried through the whole song! Beautiful tribute😭🙏🏻 ❤🕊️
I cried a second time listening to this wonderful tribute.
Well done guys. I am literally sobbing watching this.
So so so proud to be South African! I love our choir!!
That was just beautiful 🙏🏻
As a South African I'm so proud of these kids representing us in such a huge stage n touching everyone's hearts 💕 like this plus they all look so beautiful ❤️❤️👏🏿👏🏿🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I came back to this audition so many times, my favorite golden buzzer so far. I’m obsessed with the harmonies and their passion
Well said 😅
I’m in tears. They did it justice. Rest well beautiful soul.
I had to go back to review the prior Nightbirde version and her backstory. I remembered she had cancer and had read she had passed away. Did not know she had touched so many worldwide. This rendition was truly a tribute and in some ways because of the harmonies surpassed the original version Jane sang. It brought goose bumps to an old man and it was sad yet SO uplifting. Jane would have loved this version and been so proud. I watched a version this group did a year ago and this version was so much better with so much more depth combined with both sadness, but a tremendous uplift. Also to have AGT do an audience golden buzzer was perfect. Thanks Simon for becoming human in the past few years of AGT judging.
i think fatherhood brought out his warm side - and i love it too
watching this as a south african who knows this choir and also loved nightbirde. i am in tears. one of the most moving and beautiful auditions i've ever seen. so so so so so proud
This really is such a beautiful tribute. The judge who said “thank you” was correct. This was more than a performance, it was a gift to those who knew nightbirde, and those like me who were introduced to her through this performance. The story for why they chose this song.. they are amazing. They selflessly chose to shine their spotlight on someone else. Beautiful on all sides.
Your kind words add richly to this beautiful story; the legacy of Nightbirde lives on and we are part of it by association of witness.
@Mbheki Tembe Thank you. She was a beautiful person.
That "You deserve a THANK YOU" was deep. I felt it from Johannesburg, South Africa.
It's very rare to see Simon emotional. Only one other time where he broke down. This was phenomenal and deserves that golden buzzer!! I pray that everyone who was affected by Nightbirde's passing worldwide will see this and know that her spirit lives on
Она будет жить в наших сердцах.
I remember Josh Daniel singing Jealous, making Simon tear up. I think his mother had recently passed away.
I think i've seen Simon break down and cry 3 or 4 times now.
Amen well said
Traducción a lo q sijo la chica please
Every time I’ve watched this video I’ve cried…..just beautiful. Tremendous tribute to the amazing soul that was Nightbirde. ❤
The most amazing and inspired tribute to Nightbirde.
Who is Nightbirde I'm so confused.?
I believe that this is the best choir that I have ever heard on AGT or anywhere else. I just loved this rendition of this most beautiful song.
Am proud of my fellow Africans from SA...this was beautiful.. phenomenal 🔥❤️😭...🇰🇪🇰🇪
WOW so moving. Congratulations 🎊 The best audition ever
As Sofia said, “the perfect AGT audition”. A beautiful tribute to nightbirde. I loved that at the end of their song, they all bowed their heads in a moment of silence for Jane. Amazing!!!
The best golden buzzer ever!!!
yes...and this brings me to tears.....tuch the heard, and also I would say, this SimonCrowell is a very good person a good men in this ' glamourusely' world.
🖐❤️🎶
I got goosebumps watching this. Thanks to this choir for doing this tribute. We carry her still in our hearts ❤️. “If you’re lost, we’re all a little lost and it’s all right”.
Pela Nightbird... Por mais pessoas como ela no planeta.
I can't count the number of times I've watched and listened to this video since they posted it. I'm always finding a part to focus on and listen to the way it interacts with the rest of the group. Truly, the arrangement and everything these kids did is beyond exceptional! If you listen, at 3:17 during the chorus, you'll hear what seems to be a rhythmic African word/chant. I'd love to know what he said and the translation. If anyone figures it out, please reply....
Zulu language: "Woza Maan" it's more like "come on y'all" it's a chant most choir leaders would say to kick up the energy to it's fullest potential in the group.
That is the first time I have ever seen Simon Cowell cry, which to me gave this audition more emotion. A beautiful and outstanding performance from the choir and their golden buzzer was truly deserved. I hope we see a lot more of them. To me this is an performance of unity, and a wonderful tribute to Nightbirde.
I love then rendition, the choreography, the get-up, the entire thing. The choir is not trying to be someone else. It wasnt a simple cover but a fitting tribute to an original. They would have earned the Golden Buzzer even if they chose not to play Jane's song.
But I'm glad they did. We all are. I understand completely how Simon is feeling. I've watched it more than a dozen times and I still get the same emotions about it. :)
THEY ARE VERY GOOD INDEED, FROM SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA
When they walked on stage, I thought to myself, "Wow! They're beautiful!! They look like angels." Then they started singing. It literally took my breath away for a few beats and I had chills. Nightbirde was with them. Stunning performance ❤️
I had chills too! It was uncanny
I said this in another video they r dressed in white meaning pure as angels from heaven
YES
❤❤❤
Yeah, they looked and sounded amazing!
This just shows how one person can make a difference in someone’s life. Absolutely beautiful tribute to Nightbird❤️❤️
I truly hope those in South Africa are so proud of this beautiful choir! By far my favorite this season!
I don't even know how many times I've watched this and it gives me goosebumps and tears every time...whoever put together this arrangement did a beautiful beautiful job and it was performed perfectly!
I look at Simon's face and you can see his sadness 😪 But this choir did a remarkable job, loved it
What an amazing tribute to an incredible woman! Well done! 👏
They harmonise so beautifully. I would love to hear them live
Congratulations for your Golden Buzzer
Nice
Nice
Nice 👌

wow nice.
No matter what our trials and tribulations are, we South Africans know how to make music for music and dance is in our souls. What an amazing ,inspiring and awesome tribute to Nightbirde. The Mzansi Youth Choir makes us proudly South African 👏 🙌 ❤
AGT has transformed into a platform for Hope and Inspiration not only in America but the whole world. Nightbirde thank you for the music and Mzansi Youth Choir please continue to inspire young people through your music ❤🎉👍👏
Nightbirde touched the entire world with her amazing spirit and talent. Her devastating diagnosis never stopped her beauty and love from coming through and I think her inspiration touched millions, as evidenced by this wonderful tribute and audition.
That was the most beautiful celebration of life that I've ever seen. Just stunning. 👏👏👏👏👏
So heartwarming and bittersweet. They are an amazingly beautiful choir ❤
South Africans are so blessed with their great natural voices, so magical! So much in Love from Uganda 🇺🇬
The Ghetto kids from your country have really made E.A proud too❤❤❤
They truly are blessed with incredible singing voices. As a child in the 50's and 60's I often listened to Miriam Makeba - we had a couple of her albums. She had a beautiful voice!
Totally agree
With love from Nigeria
@Grace Amanijust goosebumps my people❤❤
Thank you John. I'm rooting for the choir and Ghetto Kids
Woow amazing ..., seperti suara alam yg sangat jelas , jujur dan juga sangat tulus . 🥰😊🥰
Omg what a great tribute tears of joy is rolling down from my eyes i can't control my emotion right now you deserve it guys God bless you all❤
May Nightbird’s legacy live on, forever ♥️ Sweet girl, you’ll never be forgotten!
Tears started to form in my eyes as soon as i heard the song's first verse. You are angels. You returned Nightbirde to all of us beautifully. We're grateful.
Some people can say they got shivers in the comments, but watching this genuinely gave me shivers in my spine and goosebumps running up and down my arms. I can still feel that they're there. This is so powerful and I'm just in awe that this talent exists. It's a beatiful tribute to Nightbirde.
I'm from South Africa and the amount of joy i have in my heart is unexplainable. I'm proud of mzanzi youth choir. Nightbirde would have been proud too. 🥰
Yooh😅😅
Sa has real talent
Oh my god. I just saw this video and WOW, she has an amazing and beautiful voice. I was totally blown away. She is incredible. I’ve watched it over and over again at least 30 times. Just so beautiful her voice is!! AMAZING!!!😊
One of the most wonderful choirs I have ever heard. May God always bless you and your beautiful music. Thank you doesn't seem like enough.
I've watched this audition at least once a day since it aired. I love both the original version by Jane "Nightbirde" Marczewski and this version which took the original to a new level. The choir is very humble and the way in which they delivered Nightbirde's song brings so many happy tears every time I hear this version and the original. Jane was an inspiration to many, but especially to me being a survivor as well. Her song and her quote " You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy" are so inspirational because you don't know what tomorrow will bring and it's OK to not be OK. Thank you Mzansi Youth Choir for all your love and attention to detail on a song that holds a special place in my heart and I'm sure many others as well.
I could watch this on a continuous loop and never get tired of it❤
This was one of the most unbelievable moments in AGT history. That was beautiful and the greatest moment in the audience's life.
This was definitely a full circle moment and the fact the audience was able to give a golden buzzer it all just felt right. Jane NightBirdie would be so proud.
@Lynn Ngoi agree as we lose the ppl closet to us we remember the good times we shared the bad times and the times that made us proud all we can do is remember who we lost and carry on their legacy and spread those memories on to other ppl and remember they are never gone they will always be with us
Wow, cue the tissues! I am not crying, you are crying! Well, ok, I am crying!! ❤❤❤❤❤
@mezzad it's okay to cry I'm still crying
@JosiasLourenco-xh1hz excuse me this is Clip-Share not church keep the god talk with church not Clip-Share ty
I've watched this audition over and over and still cry as if am seeing it for the first time, indeed an amazing tribute ❤️
This was not just singing, it was a powerful event and it overpowered any negative force. Those in support were too many for anyone to stand against.
Wow !! Beautiful tribute 😭❤🕊🙏 May her soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Thank you Mzansi Youth Choir ❤👏👌🙏🇿🇦
Of course, I cried, and of course, they got the Golden Buzzer They are wonderful.
This is the best moment ever on AGT or any other singing competition show. I watch it whenever I want to laugh or cry or smile.
I’m not much of a crier but this definitely has me in tears, I’m glad that nightbirds story not only touched me but so many others. This choir did an amazing tribute. Rest easy nightbird you’re legacy will forever live on.
I don’t cry a lot when it comes to television either but I was choked up😢
Repent to Jesus Christ “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

❤
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ Gods not helping this terrible world!!!
Nightbirde, your legacy lives on. Mzansi Youth Choir THANK YOU for this beautiful performance!❤ I could feel you put your hearts & souls into your singing & dancing. God bless you all. Love from London.
this is one of the best auditions ever, very emotional and an outstanding tribute to Nightbirde.
You made us proud Mzanzi! Incredibly moving performance! Much love from Durbs!
Hard to stop watching this, it's so inspiring. This group reaches out and touches the very heart of all of humanity, and all that is good in this very imperfect world. I love how so many of the members had a chance to speak, and the performance itself could not have been better. But make no mistake: the eloquence and sincerity of the littlest one at the end put you guys over the top. Amazingly, it echoed the effect that Nightbirede had on Simon Cowell, when he was at a loss for words and she said, "you can't wait for life to stop being hard to decide to be happy." This choir truly continued her legacy not only in words but in Spirit.
No performance will ever top this! I'm moved to my soul ❤️🙏
I am scared for them as well. I will be surprised if they can pull out another stuning performance. They raised the bar too high for themselves.
😢🙏🏿🙏🏿
@Peter Machetethey underperformed in the quarter finals 😢.
But they went through to the finals let's hope they pull something spectacular.
Am a proud African ...👏👏👏...Thank you SA🇿🇦 for sharing this beautiful Choir with us...Much love from KE🇰🇪
Thank you Hilda.
a wonderful tribute to nightbird.... power and touching vocals....
I love African music how cheerful! It make me feel so happy and greatful for life ❤️😢
Nightbirde’s audition was one of my ultimate fave and this is a great tribute…love everything ❤
This is so beautiful. What an amazing tribute to an incredibly brave and beautiful soul. 💙
