  • Scotland Men's National Team are in superb form at the moment.
They have a great coach, a terrific work ethic, and above all, the most talented group of players they have had in a long, long time.
The title of the video, and subsequent quotes, are from a post-match report from Rodri, the Spanish captain. He crticised the Scottish approach, which was very ironic, as his side barely threatened to score, and frequently dived and playacted, trying to get Scottish players booked.
Scotland stood strong, played excellent counter-attacking football, and won the match thanks to two goals by Scott #McTominay (#ManUtd) - the first after a terrific assist from Andy #Robertson (#Liverpool), the second after a superb assist by Kieran Tierney (#Arsenal).
Basically, #ScotlandNT are really good now.
    MON!

Great man management from clarke, mctominay giving him credit as well. So proud of our team for the way they are carrying themselves, pride with humility, passion with composure. Exciting and enjoyable to watch as well. Loving it.

Well pumped. The pain in Spain is amazing.

Thought the best answer would be to put all the chances we had over his quote. Particularly like the bit of him saying we always fall, when CalMac stays on his feet to get another goal. Love it

@Alba\ Matter don't know how old you are I remember Scotland beat France hame and away Mcfadden goal was a peach 🍑.
      We'll beat Spain away.
Also qauilfly for the euros next year. And the next 2 world cups make it out the group stages.

Legend has is it the Hampden ground staff use Rodris Tears to maintain the pitch.

Sadly it wasn’t a good substitute to water, as Rodri ended up flooding the pitch before the Georgia game

Rodri made an arse of himself. I'm sure he reflected the next day and accepted Scotland were just far better

Perhaps he did. There was a lot of (understandable) predictions by the Spanish press, and twitter fans, saying they'd win easily. Maybe we're still going under the radar. I hope so!

Why don't they get Gerry Butler to do a "THIS IS HAMPDEN" for the stadium announcer? It would be great!

End of day we outplayed Spain. And people can say it was a different Spain team but world class players were playing on their team. From big club teams like man city. Wish they would just accept they are shite 😂

      Their team cost 300m
      It was still very decent!!
      Thanks for watching

Big England supporter myself, but you absolutey battered Spain in every department. They could have played til new years eve and not scored. The moment McTominay scored his first it was basically over.

Such a strange comment, given that these games were 3 months apart and had nothing to do wi each other. Especially given how wound up Rodri was in the post match interview 🤷🏻‍♂️
