Was in the store today and Deion was the topic of conversation this lady was trying to convince me well these two other gentleman’s about it’s good Colorado winning but she just tired of Prime behavior and me and the lady locked eyes I smiled and said No, what behavior are you speaking of? She couldn’t answer the question. He teaches life lessons as he benched his own kid before in a championship game and pulled a former NFL player kid from the game this past weekend because he missed a FG and replaced him. Correction often gets viewed as discipline and that’s notorious wrong.

He comes off kind of arrogant though.
He is asked, "Who is the best coach?"
Then he asks if they have a mirror. It's pretty cringe.
I know all his fanboys in this comment section will look past that though.

@1965Grit yep like I said in another reply:
He is only a father figure to the kids that he thinks are winners. He told all the losers to find a new school. He isn't about education. He isn't about character. He is about winning football games no matter what. If that is a father figure, then no wonder so many kids don't have fathers. Who would want one? Note the last game. They lost 0 to 35. His winning kids failed him, because he failed them a long time ago. It's all about Coach Prime. He doesn't care about anything else.

Deion Sanders, AKA, COACH PRIME, is truly a coach like no other! I am sure the parents of those kids on his team are overjoyed to have their sons coached & mentored by him. How many kids will EVER be able to say that they spent their college playing years in the presence of a football legend who poured his wisdom & knowledge into them? Deion is a blessing to those young men and women that are all a part of the Colorado staff.

I think it’s reasonable to believe that there were some underhanded dealings with Jackson State finances and Prime is too good of a man to open that can of worms. This country was built on people that did great things and wanted to help America, not people who try to question moves. This man is the type of human being that makes the world a better place. If black men, all men, molded the way they tackle situations and look at problems like Coach Prime does, the world would be a much better place.
Great family man. Great kids. Lifelong friends. Makes everyone around him better. God is good.

Deion Sanders did not abandon the mission of Jackson State. He achieved his mission at Jackson State. Mission Accomplished

    He didn't abandon Jackson State.
Most coaches leave before the bowl game. He stayed and coached that game.
He gave Jackson State plenty of notice before leaving. Some coaches, like Midnight Mel, promise to stay, but then get on a plain in the middle of the night without even saying bye to their players.
Deion did right by Jackson State period. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know how college football works.

The interviewer has an ulterior motive…..that much is clear. By saying that Sanders abandoned the mission in Jackson and by calling him elusive he seems to be attempting to create his own narrative. Epic fail! Sanders showed resolve and stood on his square!

When Michael Vick was convicted Petrino sneaked out long before the end of the season abandoning his team in the middle of the night. But you got problems with Deion leaving after changing the program.

Deion! I'm a Gator, 1993. You let me say Deion! in the press box and Terry Bradshaw looked back too. Thank you for all of this, Coach. My coach had to teach me how to tie my shoes. You mean a lot to all of us, Terry too! Too cute at our age. You may never know what you did, but you all did it right.

His greatest skill is that he can motivate and inspire people to perform 10x beyond their actual ability. Colorado is very lucky to have him and I hope he stays. He's only played three games here as coach so far, but he's already made history in just that very short period of time. Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, TCU, Oregon...all but forgotten in the minds of every young player coming up through the ranks. Now, every single high school star in the country dreams of being a Buff and playing for Coach Prime. He's already made his mark here - and Boulder will never be the same!

The fact that people revile Deion just shows how much evil is still in the world. Like people just don’t like certain people succeeding in this country still. It’s a shame. It’s way more fun rooting for him. The dude is an A+ human being and probably one of the most talented people in the history of sports. Dude killed it as a player and now we all are seeing, what a lot of us already knew…that he’s a genius.

Deion Sanders is a beautiful man. I first became a fan when he came to my hometown to play for the Cincinnati Reds. I had always known how smart he was but here he joined and became a real teammate. I have followed him since through his made up media contrrovoseries, where I was on Deion's side, through his hilarious bumble bee commercials, through his stints as a commentator, and then as a coach. This man is breath of fresh air!!! Love you Deion!

SO PROUD OF YOU, DION! May there be more coaches like you in the future! These young men finally have a role model who truly care about them and not view them as just bodies for the win! I'm sure there are great white coaches who care, but they will never be able to relate fully to the black players and their plight in this society.
