The silence armor trim is also by far the one that changes your armos optic the most. Like half of them are just a line nothing else, but the silence does make it different

silence trim with netherite and chain armor looks weird and I shouldn't wasted my 4 netherite ingots on a armor
The Sentry trim has a 4.8% chance to spawn in pillager outposts, but there is only 1 chest per outpost, meaning on average you'd have to search over 20 of them to get it
it’s actually 25%, at least on java it is. i only had to search 3
Now we just need someone to get the armor trim in less than 10 minutes

Silence is by far my favorite armor trim. I love the design.
It's overrated imo, dunes are great and i like to use multiple trims to make a armour

honestly an elytra can very easily help you find a snowy mountains biome, which is the ideal spot for an ancient city to spawn in

The silence trim was actually the first armor trim I ever got, just a couple days ago. I was lucky enough to come across an ancient city while mining and found one, but unfortunately I'm dumb and didn't know you could duplicate them to make templates sooooo I kinda used it immediately 😂

Someone did 6 hours straight of looting ancient cities and didn't find one.
Fun fact: the silence armor trim isnt actually the rarest armor trim. If you know how to easily find ancient cities, they are actually a fairly common structure. Although spawning more regularly in chests, Pillager Outposts are harder to find than ancient cities, and all the other structures containing trims, making the Sentry armor trim the rarest

Ancient cities are actually pretty easy to find, and an elytra will help you.
They only generate in mountainous biomes, meaning the elytra will help you find places where it could potentially generate.
They also generate pretty often in their specific biomes, so as long as you can find a deep cave you should be fine.
I've already found several in survival.
I'm regretting raiding 100 ancient cities before this update.
The silence trim looks pretty cool covering half of the armor

You can duplicate the trims with diamonds and the ancient cities are very easy to find, they have a very high probability to spawn in big caves in mountains

The closest ancient city from my base is at least 10,000 blocks away and we already looted the whole place i think. So my cousin and i have to look for another one.

You can find ancient cities fairly easy, they spawn under big mountains.
So if you find a snow-capped peak (like where goats spawn), there will be a city underneath.
Spent like 4 hours looking for ancient cities under mountains, gave up and used chunkbase
I remember looking at all the armor trims and picking the armor trim, then me and my friends spent several days in ancient cities looking for them. Finally got them and damn we look good
I just spent six hours finding ancient cities and dodging the wardens to get one.💀

I got super lucky today 💀 ended up getting Silence on my first ancient city raid and I didn’t know that it was the rarest trim of all

You should definitely do that in creative before making your own combination, since this templates are quite rare and expensive.

Tbh silence is the best because armor trims like rib add like 5 pixels but silence covers it in the material you used like amethyst which looks pretty cool too

This is definitely the best trim in the game, it just looks so awesome. My favorite combo with this is a gold trim on netherite armor

The good thing is it's definitely worth it, it basically converts the whole of the armour piece into the inputted material.
Me and my friend traveled 20k blocks out without an elytra to find the silence armor trim, because we made the world in 1.19 and figured we had to find new ancient cities. just to realize there's an ancient city at spawn nobody had looted... the silence armor trim was at spawn :')

While I admit the Silence is rare and hard to find, I did indeed have a harder time finding a Rib armor trim. Not because it’s necessarily rarer, but because I don’t have an unexplored Nether Fortress in my world any closest than 7,000 x 9,000 blocks💀💀
This is the first trim i got after making a new world worh s friend, and finding an ancient city with only an iron chestplate

You can find ancient cities pretty easily if you fly to the new mountains or something and dig down you have a high chance of finding it. I watched SB737 videos
I found a silence armor trim in the first ancient city I found, then died to a warden on my way out. Haven’t found one since

First chest I opened in my most recent survival world had the silence trim. Netherite with the red stone looks the best in my opinion
