The story of the school master in York has more of a story. The school/ work house was on a street called Bedern and it’s said that when the children died due to poor conditions the school master would bury them in the walls to continue to get payment from the church. York is classed as one of the most hunted place in England for the ghost stories it has. It’s one of the main tourist attractions.

If you guys are interested in checking out the Manor Master Chamber, I would also suggest the James J. Hill House. The Hill House isn't on any haunted lists that I could find, but I think it'd be worth checking out if possible. I say that because I'm an empath and have been able to feel remnant emotions and even connect to remnant memories on occasion, and that place as so much energy there from the service workers when it was still the lived in, from the students and teachers from when it was a school, and I think from some of the family members themselves.
