Plane Level 1 is severely misunderstood. It's actually an extremely complex AI. It's just that it was built to meme, rather than dominate like Stockfish does.
Let us examine the rook to G8 move at 2:00. This is true art. PL1, as it's developers at MIT lovingly know it as, had gracefully lulled a high level chess player into expecting a typical game of computer chess. Suddenly, it struck. With one smallest possible nudge of the rook, PL1 throws his poor knight to the wolves, with the rest of his own army repelling any hope it has of escape. PL1 laughs as the puny human opponent struggles to understand it's reasoning, baffled that he has seen a brand new game after only two moves from the opponent.

I would love to see more of this. I think it would make for good learning content, because of how chaotic it can be not knowing if your plane is going to drop out of the sky because you schooled it in a game of chess. =]

Playing against various computers in unusual objects (like planes) does sound like an interesting series of videos, but I would imagine you'll run out of objects pretty quickly.

I was on a plane a few weeks ago and I played chess with the plane like this video. I played the hardest difficulty and it was insanely good, but then I discovered that the bot did not know the "Napoleon attack" opening. It's basicaly a scholars mate variation. So now I can say a beat a expert chess bot in 4 moves.

The GM Bot game was really fun to watch. Nice variations 👍

Video idea for Levy: there is a cool puzzle on a website called "Aint it funny how the knight moves" in which you have to move with a knight on all the squares of the board except for those controlled by the queen (yes there is a queen standing in the middle of the board).
It would be cool to see how long it takes Levy to solve it in a video (or maybe on stream if it's not video worthy).
