This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe.
From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live-and hunt-alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
Jurassic World Dominion, from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, propels the more than $5 billion franchise into daring, uncharted territory, featuring never-seen dinosaurs, breakneck action and astonishing new visual effects.
The film features new cast members DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Scott Haze (Minari) and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). The film’s returning cast includes BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè.
Jurassic World Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who steered 2015’s Jurassic World to a record-shattering $1.7 billion global box office. The screenplay is by Emily Carmichael (Battle at Big Rock) & Colin Trevorrow from a story by Derek Connolly (Jurassic World) & Trevorrow, based on characters created by Michael Crichton. Jurassic World Dominion is produced by acclaimed franchise producers Frank Marshall p.g.a. and Patrick Crowley p.g.a. and is executive produced by legendary, Oscar®-winning franchise creator Steven Spielberg, Alexandra Derbyshire and Colin Trevorrow.

gotta be honest, having the old cast is very nostalgic and something I really wished to see in Jurassic World in general, but also I LOVE the bigger array of dinosaurs. Don't really care how much sense that makes or not in connection with the previous movie, but I love it. This looks like it could actually be amazing, also I am a sucker for Dinosaurs in cities...

For me the story line was a bit disapointing. But the action scenes are soooo good and the little references to the first movies where very clever. I watched the first movie in theaters with my dad when i was 13 and the last one with my 13 year old daughter.. and that's pretty special to me❤

A few good moments, above average action and infusion of several characters with justice done in terms of screen presence. It’s definitely not a bad movie, you can watch it with family.

After watching this movie a few times (including the extended version) since its release in June, I realize how much of an unexpected difference the movie was compared to what was promised in this trailer, but I’m thinking that the “coexistence” of humans and dinosaurs- as what was given at the end of the movie- would be something not fully connected because let’s say that IF more Jurassic movies come out, something could change drastically that could prove to be more than what fans were expecting to see in this final installment

This movie is real. The world is controlled through the shadows by serpent/lizard race to transmute us into demonic locusts. See 13 Bloo dlines of Illu minati by F.Springmeier. That satan's army (Revelation 911) is the end goal of this satanic system. We are in the Revelation timeline now. White rider is out with a bow tie (see orig.hebrew Strongs Concordance) with a crown (corona (virus)), to tie genetically by MRNA tech the adamic race and serpent race. See Psalm 82:6 and Isaiah 29:16. See You Are Exiles by Jonathan Kleck. The original scriptures will blow your mind.

I finally watched this movie, because I watched every Jurassic sequel. It was action packed and had sentiment in seeing all the characters. I remember 30 years ago watching the first epic and will always be my favorite one. I am though truly disappointed in the fact that Lex and Tim were not involved in this one. Who could forget when they were trying to hide from the velociraptors in the kitchen. we were on the edge of our seats. All of the actors in the first one all had outstanding roles that truly made it a epic film. Just a shame that they left out the two that made the first so memorable and remarkable.

Action: 7.5/10. CGI/VFX: 8/10. Story: 5.5/10. It's kind of movie for those who just want to see something cool on the big screen and don't really care about storylines

Blue got a kid of her own. So sweet. Also, the prodigal returns of Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum, and Lauren Dern is pure magical.

      ETERNAL LIFE Month ago

It's incredible how humiliated T. Rex is by other carnivores... In this movie. In reality, t. Rex would have slaughtered everything in its path. In fact, the subject of this film, if you have noticed, is coexistence. Typical of the hollywood ggays. How stupid are the scenes with the mosasaur swimming next to a whale, when in reality the whale would have been torn to pieces immediately. Archeopteryx flying with ordinary birds... When in reality the birds would have been eaten immediately. Sodom's propaganda is: coexistence. But Christians will not accept ties to sin.

As a dinosaur lover from a child (like most of us) starting from an old tv show “waking with dinosaurs” I can not wait to go see this on Saturday, it’s like the Harry Potter films no matter how old I get I still act like a child when it comes to a Jurassic park film😍😍

I am a dinosaur lover and i HATED this movie so much, because special effects are a pile of trash (when they are there, because most of the times are just animatronics from 1993). I watch these movies to see nicely made dinosaurs, with special effects. This movie wasnt it. Unfortunately i dont have a clue why people who likes dinosaurs actually would watch this, its a complete embarrasement. Dinosaurs in this movie feel like just attrezzo that if you forget about them, nothing changes in the movie, at all. That says it all.

    AICTE - EVC 3 months ago +22

Absolutely speechless, the entire Jurassic series simply drags one to the Jurassic era where one could encounter the terrifying monsters. And lastly bit dissapointed as the leading starcast are now older by some 20+ years.

  • Gray Thurman

This trailer was beautiful, from the music to the shots. It's just a colossal disappointment that the movie was not at all what the trailer promised us. It's becoming an apparent problem with Hollywood nowadays where trailers are better than the actual movie. I've been a Jurassic fan for years but this was by far the biggest letdown we've received all year which is a pure shame when Dominion could've been so much more.

Just watched the movie yesterday and I loved it. Loved all scenes with Blue obviously but these ones were unreal. Especially when Beta was taken. There was some cheesiness and some clunky dialogue but overall it was great.
Although it did do something I've found common in a lot of movies lately.
Sometimes scenes do not need a score behind them. A conversation free of music trying to evoke emotion is sometimes more effective. Like Alan & Ellie's first conversation in Alan's tent.
I noticed this in Thor: Love and Thunder too. Though that movie was just bad.
I hope we get more. I have always loved these movies. It's escapism and entertainment... and dinosaurs! (Thank God there were no hybrids).

Anyway, I *_LITERALLY_* said I hope they never make any more Jurassic Park films, whilst watching this. Disappointing is an understatement. I laughed a few times at the parts that _weren't_ supposed to be funny. The rest of the time I was rolling my eyes, cringing, & predicting scenes, the whole way through. Abismal. Bad acting, bad writing, silly story telling. They killed the franchise.

Im amazed how people can love this movie????? its one of the most stupid and idiotic movies made in the past five years lol. But im not surprised, if kids and braindead people are so stupid to say things like "i loved this movie", then you already understand why tv and cinema industry these days is so broken and trashed. I cant believe people can actually "LOVE" this movie. One of the worst movies made in the last five years, terrible special effects, terrible action scenes, terrible acting, i could go on forever.

Nah this trailer was dog shit compared to what I thought it would be. If the original cast wasn’t in here y’all wouldn’t even like it. I’m super let down and not even that excited to watch it. I really hope I’m proven wrong but everything just looks so damn random. Random Original actors, (The only cool thing imo) with a random last Jurassic Park movie announcement. Random weird looking locations (Snowy woods, Old ancient city? Wtf?) Random dinosaurs (Last 2 movies had fused Dino’s that installed fear into you no matter what and made you feel like they were impossible to kill, they went bigger and bigger and now they went back to basic Dino’s so it feels backtracked) And random ass events? Nobody looks trapped, In fact they look happy as hell to be here, everyone is just kind of standing around all the time unless it’s that chick running from a raptor, or dude riding his motorcycle. Idk man something feels hella off about this movie and I’m super sad about it.

I would like to point out that this isn't the final film. It's just the final one of the trilogy, there has been plenty of talk about there being more afterwards. Would also like to say that Dominion itself means control and obviously the humans aren't in control, the dinosaurs are. Leaving me to believe that this is more of an introduction leading on to what would be coming up in later films. And now that I think about it, we've should've seen this coming as Jurassic Park series was all about dinosaurs escaping roaming free on the island, Jurassic World was all about the dinosaurs escaping the island, and now the next films (if they keep true to their word about there being more) will be all about the dinosaurs roaming the entire Earth just as they have done before bringing it back full circle.

@Мурад Стариков The dinosaurs within the franchise were never mean’t to be accurate representations of the original animals even with feathers. In the end, these creatures still have the DNA of modern animals, like frogs, lizards, birds etc, spliced in their genome. And it’s stated in the franchise that it’s extremely difficult, if not impossible to find the perfect DNA code to create a pure genome, so they have to insert the DNA of a frog for example as a replacement. The pyroraptor’s swimming ability may attributed to the possibility of it having Penguin DNA while the Giga’s ‘dragonized’ appearance is likely attributed to crocodile DNA.

    • Мурад Стариков
      Мурад Стариков 5 months ago

The algorithm of recreating a dinosaur became known to several other corporations, not only to "InGen", including its rival, BioSyn. They wanted to make more scientifically accurate dinosaurs. And they've made a feathered Pyroraptor, but his extreme swimming ability is a fiction. The Giganotosaurus' "dragonized" appearance is also a kind of fiction. Then why does the Dreadnoughtus have no (hypothetical) throat sacks, and why is the recently discovered Moros smaller than the real one? A little fluffy lizard, capable of fighting a cat, while the real Moros could easily confront a larger predator, f.e. a lion or a tiger.

Biggest mistake this franchise made was moving away from Action THRILLER, and becoming an action adventure. The first two movies were based on novels written by Michael Crichton RIP, so the stories and quotes are still amazing. After that, JP has become commercial projects without imagination and more about graphic. They didn't rely on how handsome the main actor
The first movie was about using science incorrectly and the good intention wasn't enough,
Here, the director wanted to create suspense in the day light and in the middle of beautiful city, he just can't do that.

@DevilsToast riiiiight, and I bet since you can't afford to see a lot of movies in cinema (which doesn't make you that special that literally almost everyone) you nitpick movies just to justify to yourself why seeing them in cinema wasn't worth it anyway. The Marvel movies are amazing to watch in cinema and watching Jurassic world specifically in cinema for the first time has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Just rented it last night for my daughter’s birthday.
I have to say that I was disappointed.
Great to have the old cast. The movie was just way too busy, though. They tried too hard to have about five different stories going on at once, and wanted to show off too many different dinosaurs… so that each one of them only got about 1 minute of useless screen time. They should have just picked 1 or 2 new dinosaurs and gave them major plot points like the previous movies.
Then… the movie’s theme was about dinosaurs loose on the earth, but they tried to tie it together with another “stupid corporation” that STILL hasn’t gotten it, and their agenda. The audience is honestly tired of seeing a giant company trying to own the dinosaurs. It’s overplayed now and they should have just stuck to what they showed in the early trailers… a world filled with dinosaurs where the humans have to find sone way to survive.

What I appreciate about Dr. Grant’s involvement in the narrative is that, while he would NEVER voluntarily re-enter a scenario with dinosaurs again (especially after the events of JPIII), the scale and scope of dinosaurs taking over the entire world, encroaching on whatever peace of mind he thought he had, means that he’s back with dinosaurs because he’s on THEIR turf now without even moving an inch. This is a great way to write the character back into the thick of things, which gives a foundation for him to interact with the story in a way that fits the existing character development and actually makes sense.

      MASTER-OF-FILM 9 months ago

The novelty wore off for me after the lost world. The original is a definitive piece of adventure blockbuster cinema that really falls victim to its own success. It’s a one trick pony: how many times are you gonna watch dinosaurs run after humans as their prey and everyone dies except the core or reoccurring characters.
In 2022 the suspension of disbelief is not there for me as it was like in the 90s. I saw the first sequel starring Chris Pratt n Bryce Dallas Howard and honestly I only remember one scene from that movie. Haven’t watched any subsequent instalments since then. As this is the age of nostalgia (Star Wars, Terminator, Ghostbusters, Matrix, Spider-Man NWH, Scream, Indiana Jones 5) it makes sense to bring the original cast back for one last ride. This is their swan song. If they can wrap this up cohesively bringing the narrative and character arcs full circle then sure. However I’m not gonna watch this in theatres I’ll just stream it and skip to the end to see who hasn’t been eaten. 😂😅😅🤣
