Patty is a daily, Pai's a monthly, Lobster tower is once in a lifetime
Nice
For that price I could do Pai's weekly, looks amazing as well
more like: patty is routine, pai's is social occasion, lobster tower is celebration occasion.
PAI is so good
Repent to Jesus Christ “He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.””
Psalms 46:10 NIV

im actually so sad this series is ending. it's been my favourite series on youtube since i first started using the platform, like almost a decade ago. seeing everyone grow and change as people has been almost magical. thank you for sharing this series with us. i cant wait to see what happens next!
WHAT??? noooo...
Am I the only one who caught what Steven said to Simu? What he said makes me think Worth It isn’t gone forever 🤔
@That Girl I missed the comment. Do you recall which portion it was said in?
@Travis Schmiesing 17:11 "invite back to the show".
@bnzboy i appreciate you answering for me….
Love seeing Simu being just one of the boys despite being a literal moviestar.
Movie star where?💀😭
@BMW Jourdan Dunn Goddess! he starred in a movie, isn’t that a movie star
@BMW Jourdan Dunn Goddess! the movie he starred in made 500m so yeah he's a movie star
did y’all not watch marvels shang-chi 😭
Simu should consider a new vertical as a food TV personality; he has a great way of speaking about food and his passion for it really shines through.
Two of his Kim’s Convenience co-stars (YYC boys!) did something similar in Calgary.
It was a lot of fun seeing them walk around my city.
The fact that we got Simu in the final season of Worth It is honestly pretty worth it
I mean yeah he's a cool dude, but come on... ZERO questions about Shang-Chi??? It could have been any other cool dude in his place. If you get a movie star, ACT LIKE IT.
@nahor88 why would they need to ask him abt that, he’s literally stevens friend 😭
@kayobi Because the video is not for him, its for us, the audience?
@nahor88 He’s only been in like 1 movie chill 😂
@Mijan Hoque dude it's easy to Google. Try
As a fellow Torontonian who did rely on patties to keep my hunger levels satisfied whenever going through my college courses, this truly was a beautiful representation of the gastronomy of our diverse, multicultural city. I hope you continue to explore the massive range of food you can feast on within Toronto. You won't be disappointed!
This comment is extremely true
Also as a fellow Torontonian, Montreal and NYC does it better.
@Charlie P Agree to disagree. That's only with bagels, poutine and smoked meat in the case of Montreal.
@Zenigotcha I'm not sure how many times you've been to Montreal or if you've ever lived there - it's not even close. You can go into any restaurant or bar in Montreal and get excellent food and service without all the gimmicks of the Toronto restaurant scene. I've visited and lived in all 3 cities, and have worked as a hospitality consultant in the past. Respectfully, there really is no competition.
@Charlie P I expect Asian food and esp Chinese food to be much better in Toronto tho
As someone that is very close to the family that owns Fishman Lobster Clubhouse, it really warms my heart to see how well received and celebrated the food and the atmosphere is. I've had some fantastic memories dining there through the years, including their previous locations, and to hear the stories from the POV of both the owners and peers really makes it a special place to me :)
Simu should know it's in Scarborough not Markham. Doh!
Please ask your family to bring back the fishies for the lobster instead of fries.
it always makes me feel uncomfortable seeing celebrities talk over people they're collabing with, but Simu, for lack of better words, speaks like a normal person. it honestly just feels like he's one of the boys. i love their chemistry and i love this episode! those noodles look fckn banger and i want a worth it christmas special featuring Simu!!!!
As a Jamaican raised Canadian, my heart is singing right now! I get so proud every time I see someone enjoy a patty! And finally an episode I can easily go to all the places
I love how involved Simu Liu is, outside of acting he still gets involved in Clip-Share channels like this. Over all great vibes ❤
Did us proud, Simu! Proper representation of Toronto dishes at three price points.
lol wut? i say a Jamaican beef patty, a Thai noodle dish and a Chinese seafood restaurant. No Toronto native food
I love Adam's character development. From Season 1 to 3:49.
Adam is just like "Yoink!" with that patty.
That development though. From a small smile and giggle at the very end of the episodes to literally grabbing his moment in the spotlight! Chef's kiss!
Yes! That was so unexpected, haha, and I'm sure it was delicious. The finger was redundant tho
wont be the first time he did that
Hes done that before in the new york pizza episode
Never thought I would see Khao Soi in an episode of Worth It. As someone who grew up in northern Thailand as chef Nui, I can say that she really put her effort and love into the dish to make it truly authentic.
Also love how Simu struggled to judge the winner. All 3 places are amazing and he shows that all of them are special to him in a different way.
aw i love Simu Liu ! i’ve loved him since Kim’s Convenience but it’s so great to see he’s a genuinely cool and kind person interpersonally as well as professionally :))
@Snow Shock agreed!
interpersonally. what a great word
I did not know worth it is ending and that makes me super sad. Every one involved brought so much joy to me and i wish you all the best! The production value alone should be enough to land you all the passion projects yall deserve 😭
Simu deserves to be in the show, so natural, hoping he’s always invited.
Toronto is so ethnically diverse, you can eat almost every part of the world’s food, and a lot of it is excellent and cheap. Love Toronto & It’s people ❤
As a Torontonian it's wild to think there are people out there who haven't had beef patties, they're so integral here. Plus Pai truly slaps. Was dope seeing that Toronto representation!
Yeah, I thought they were ubiquitous corner store fare across North America. Patty on a bun was the staple lunch of my latchkey childhood.
In Quebec, they're fairly common as well. Fond memories of these from childhood to now.
Every subway station! Bathurst and Warden station patties are great but I have a fondness for Wilson station patties.
*I'm in Michigan only a couple hour drive. I've never tried one in 29 years. What we have around the area doesn't seem like they would be on par with the original beef patties.*
Such a staple here. You can get it in every grocery store, fresh ones all around. Even my high school cafeteria sold them.
I love how representative this ep is of the city in terms of culture/food. Toronto has an amazing food scene and I feel like it doesn't get the love from non Canadians that it deserves!
This was such a refreshing episode and Simu still remains such a humble, chill guy, I hope he’ll get even more acting roles after Shang-chi. ❤ I’m still shook knowing this is Worth It’s final season, each season was honestly such a treat and I still love the format. Wishing the crew the best for whatever they decide to do next~
Simu seems so humble despite being a movie start, it's amazing !
I love when they show Adam enjoying his meal in silence. ❤
this episode in particular was one of the best food programmes I've seen. great work to all involved and thanks for putting it out there for everyone to enjoy.
This was so good. Actually balled when I heard this was the final season. This show has been incredible and I'll miss it greatly.
bawled
Weird

🏀
@FCL M nah she meant on the court
The Toronto food scene is underrated. Loved the choices this ep! Absolutely covers the bare bone basics that is Toronto cuisine. Cheers to a lovely episode ❤
Adam is such a treat in this episode, his personality adds so much to these videos .
Simu is so well spoken and so is Andrew. Hearing them speak is beautiful. Hearing Steven speak is hilarious and relatable XD
As a local Toronto guy. These places are all great. I went to Pai last week. But Golden Patty is a revelation. The spicy beef patty is amazing but their curry shrimp patty is one of the great things of this world.
As a Torontonian, I never thought I'd ever see the Worth It crew come by to try our food. But here we are, and I'm so happy that they stopped by
As a Torontonian this brings me so much joy to see them explore this amazing city
Same!! Love the Toronto love
Hello fellow Trontonians!!
@Scottsgamerlounge Torontonian*
I thougt it's toronton, like american
@Andreas Arta 💀sounds like a pokemon
I moved to Toronto during the pandemic. Discovering Pai (and ordering it regularly) really got me through. So nice to see it featured here! It is genuinely exceptionally good Thai food.
Simu is actually a brilliant food journalist.
You were in Toronto, and I didn't know?? Great episode as always and left me hungry as always! Simu is great at explaining the food and the differences in experiences. Makes me want to go to Fisherman's!
As an Ex-Torontonian now in LA…I miss Pai so much, and especially the Khao Soi. I haven’t been able to find anything close to it here. Thanks for giving Pai the spotlight it deserves!
Knowing about Simu and Steven's deep friendship from their Watcher videos (oh my god they were roommates!), the little "Steven" that Simu says at 11:12 is so funny and endearing to me 😂
This is the last season and after the last episode I will miss Adam's little smile and giggle when he tastes something that surprises him with how good it tastes.
And as a former Torontonian that was dirt poor when I lived there, Patty King patties were a great way to satisfy hunger for a dollar.
...the last season?!
What do u mean last season? Its the last one they will ever make?
@Prof Paradox yeah... They announced it on A.T.E channel 😭
Bro y’all it takes one click to look on their channel and see them announce the last season smh
@Neko Toxin some people have lives
As A Thai person, the Kaosoi meal is very relishing to watch. If you ask a lot of people who actually cooks and studies Thai food, they all admit that it's one of the most difficult dish to make. The holy grail of Asian food. I wish Worth IT will continue for more season like it will never end.
This is one of the few episodes where I'm going for the tower. That looks amazing.
For those wondering, Dollar tree sells beef and chicken Jamaican patties. I've been eating them for over a decade, introduced to me by a Jamaican lady. The brand is Golden Krust. I'd say pretty much the same exact size and filling amount. Definitely wouldn't mind trying a fresh one for 50 cents more.
So excited to see Fishman Lobster Clubhouse! It's my go-to lobster place in Toronto and their food is absolutely amazing!
I just tried Fishman Lobster Clubhouse a few weeks ago for the first time, it's so exciting to see it on the show! One of the best meals ever 🤤
while andrew steven and adam changed through the seasons i think the one who changed the most is me. i went from casually watching 2 dudes with their camera man eating food around the world to feeling warmth and joy watching them laugh. such a great episode and show.
All these episodes are bittersweet, I understand that all things eventually come to an end but I truly hoped this show would never end 😔. These three guys have unknowingly been my dinner buddies on many occasions when I was on my own and needed the ‘company’ 😊. Not going to lie, I’m going to be a bit shattered when the last episode comes out. I hope they all have amazing memories from this series as do we ❤
Time for another ANOTHER worth it marathon for me ❤️ so love this show and so sad to see it end but I understand. Can't tell you how many times over watched every single episode.
Local Torontonian here and I can totally vouch for these first two places. Been to both many times. Well chosen!
This show made me fall in love with food. The origin stories of these chefs and owners are beautiful to hear!
This was the best episode yet!! Love seeing local staple's. Patty with coco bread was the best cheap eats ever, getting many torontians through a chilly commute.
OMG! As a Canadian fan, (and obviously a Simu fan!) this is such an exciting episode to be able to watch ❤ So happy to see the Canada representation
ok best guest ever! they laugh so much in this episode, and simu is so articulate about food and fits in so naturally.
last 2 episodes for this season i cant do this 😭😭 but simu vibed so well with andrew and steven this was such an amazing episode! cant wait for the next ones and cheers to all of the staff! the series is all worth it
You guys are my fave food bloggers now. So much chill compared to others ❤
Andrew seemed soo happy throughout this episode and I loved it
Love to see Canada being represented!! Hope you enjoyed Toronto guys!
Genuinely cannot believe this is the last season but I'm looking forward to all the new content from you guys!
All these episodes are bittersweet, I understand that all things eventually come to an end but I truly hoped this show would never end . These three guys have unknowingly been
As a Torontonian, I approve of the beef patties and Pai. Pai's Pad gra pao with crispy pork is also really good! Never tried Fishman Lobster Clubhouse but I will soon :D
This was such a great episode having Simu Liu on so awesome and I’ve always wanted to go to Canada, looks and feels like an amazing country. 🥰Plus, the food here looks delicious 🤤
😒
Adam stealing Steven’s leftover pattie was hilarious 🤣
It’s sad to know Worth It will be over soon… buzzfeed will really regret this decision. 😪
The evolution of this show is amazing! Love all four of your guys! :D
my local thai restaurant has khao soi and that first time ever trying it was a magical experience
As a Torontonian, I never thought I'd ever see the Worth It crew come by to try our food. But here we are, and I'm so happy that they stopped by 😁
Yeahhh
Jamaican meat patty really is yummy yet affordable, lucky we have it here 🥰😍
I actually use Adam's nod and smile when he tastes the food as the true indication that it is good.
i ate so many bowls of khao soi in thailand and that bowl made my mouth water. kaho soi is truly underrated. i had many bowls of really good ramen in japan too and honestly, khao soi stands out to me as my preferred noodle dish
I was once in Toronto downtown and had this patty unknowingly, best patty i ever had, juicy and crispy with a small coke can. 😂will definitely try it again sometime
Simu matches the vibe so wonderfully.
Absolutely great show!
As a Torontonian this has made me so happy! Toronto has an incredible multicultural food scene and for you three to highlight it has made my week.
Same lol
Man worth it is so damn good, sad to see it go but thoroughly enjoyed every episode every season buzzfeed n all! Thank you guys
as a torontonian, this was so great to see!! i kind of forget that jamaican pattys arent a staple everywhere, theyre just so ubiquitous to me. and YES!! PAI!! pai is SO GOOD, i'm so glad it was shown so much love. so sad this will be the last season but i suppose all great things must come to an end someday. loved this whole series!! thank you for making it!
I didn't read the full title and when I saw Simu Liu my jaw dropped! The lobster tower is absolutely incredible, it's my dream to eat something like that!
I didn't expect a restaurant my family goes to annually for celebrations would ever be featured in an episode of Worth It. And yet, when I go there I eat anything but the lobster. My family does multiple courses - my brother and I eat anything but the lobster while the rest of our relatives destroy the tower.
This episode was so good that I'm genuinely sad now that this is the last season 🥺 this series has become something so beautiful
Man. Simu is just the best. I wish we could get more episodes with him.
Khao soi is one of my favourite noodle dishes. Brings back so many childhood memories from my school serving it to us at lunch. Amazing video. 👍
Simu nailed it with the first 2 choices. Two of my favourite foods in the city.
Love seeing Simu Liu! And that khao soi looks amazing 🤤🤤🤤
If you ever visit Toronto, I highly recommend Pai! Their food is delicious and the proportions are great! ❤ I've always had food to take home because they give you a lot for the price you pay. And I've been here at least 5 times with different people because they also have a pretty lengthy vegan menu (the downtown Toronto location has more vegan menu items as an fyi)! While I'm not vegan, I have friends who are and we go here all the time because of their inclusive menu. The vegan kra pow tastes amazing!
I hope you guys get to try a Filipino boodle fight one day!!
OMG. I’m Jamaican and it’s so exciting seeing you try our food😭! I LOVE peanut punch. The creamy taste is to die for. It’s kinda hard to find in Texas so whenever I’m at a gas station with the milkshake makers I always get the snickers one. It tastes just like it. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
yess i was like finally they tried some yard food🇯🇲
I'd never seen that before but it totally looks like something I'd love!!
@deprofundis if you ever get the opportunity to try patties DO IT. My favourite is chicken tho. It’s always so good. If they can’t do a chicken patty right then don’t even try the restaurant.
I've see peanut punch a lot where I live, but I've never tried it. I think I will now I'm super curious lol
@Heyo you should! Super good. If you ever see supligen you should get it too.
Simu needs to be a regular here!
I've always been so dissapointed that they've only been to Canada once! I'm so happy to see an entire episode dedicated to my Country ❤🤍❤ They've been to awesome cities, food-wise, tho! Montréal and Toronto are cities filled with amazing diversity and culture. Certainly some of THE best places here to find hidden jewels of food! They have to go to Québec City, now! Amazing Gastronomic restaurants in the old Québec area. And the scenery would be beautiful! I just LOVE that city!
You guys have given me a thing to add to my bucket list. To try out all the places on worth it before I die.
Omg a Toronto episode! There are sooo many different kinds of amazing food here. I used to grab spicy patties for dinner on my way home. Cheap, delicious, and filling. Now I need to go get some. That Thai food looked phenomenal! I'll have to try it. There's a place near me called B.K.K. that's really good. Sand wow...that lobster tower was insane lol
Love this episode, Simu is a fun guy to befriend and hangout with omg please invite him again some time later!
As someone who’s in Toronto, this episode makes me so happy. Pai is my favourite Thai spot and I’m so glad you guys featured it! Hope Steven and Andrew can come back (doesn’t have it to be Worth It) to eat more, Toronto is a great food city.
overrated momofuku notwithstanding
@armuk i barely count momofuku as true toronto fare and more like a(n) (international) chain of restaurants and iirc it’s closed or soon to be closed
@armuk momofuku defs overrated though, there is better ramen in toronto
Omg momofuku was the worst! Lol. Even David Chang said he couldnt get it to work in Toronto and that’s why it closed.
@Jess it's also incredibly overrated. Isshin and Ikkousha are miles better for ramen.
As a Torontonian, so happy to see you guys showcase PAI! It’s incredible, I’ve taken everyone I know there 😆
everything looked so delicious this episode 😮
Watching this, they got to the noodles, and I was just like "Oh man I could go for some noodles" - and then I remembered I've got some leftover noodles in the fridge! LOVE being able to satisfy a sudden craving.
I'm ready to book a flight just for the Khao Soi at Pai's! That looks like my type food 100%
i really can't believe worth it is ending. i remember when the first episode ever of worth it released, and i loved it. i'm gonna miss this series so much.
I really like Simu Liu, he reminds me of a person you would meet for the first time but would make you feel like you've been friends for so long.
Simu fits so well with the guys ❤
The first dish was one I've eaten many times (from the supermarket freezer section. ) The second looked delicious. The third was crazy. It was like lobster Jenga! Normally, I wonder how many people that would serve.
Simu is an absolute treasure. So down to earth.
I remember going for breakfast nearby one weekend a month or so ago and seeing Simu queuing for brunch. I'm not one to go up to celebrities but he always seems so nice and I'm a huge Kims Convenience fan! I wonder if he was around filming for this.
Great to see Toronto and the restaurants they selected. Love this channel and I'm going to miss Worth It!
Simu Liu is such a gem
Great Special Guest! Intelligent, articulate, personable, knowledgeable... He had great enthusiasm for the food, interesting reactions and added a great touch of humor! Thanks for including him!👍🏻
Love how Simu acted surprised when the tower came even though it was his rec🤣 I almost believed it too!!
Love to see beef patties making an appearance 🥰
Was smiling the whole time! Love you guys! And Simu tooooo :) so fun!
This is not just a food & travel channel .... This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old woman! 🥰🥰🥰
