My best explanation for the whole Type-Type/Emerald Multi-Attack thing is that type interactions are stored as 4-bit values, ie. 0-15. Having a x16 interaction loops the value back in on itself to x0, BUT since it isn't considered a type immunity and the minimum amount of damage dealt needs to be 1, it just deals 1 damage.

I’d add the “Real” type. It resists all the new types, but is weak to the original 18. It’s super effective against the new types and is weak to the original 18 types as well.

I played this rom and i have to say, probably one of the most fun pokemon experiences ive ever had. It feels like the first time you play the series at all, because you know practically nothing, and it's so fun to learn it.

The addition of a "joke" Baby type that's weak to everything, only to Uno Reverse it into the most powerful type in the Champion battle, is true storytelling genius

So the reason Azuril is "Gender" type is that it has a 25/75 male/female ratio. Meanwhile Marill has a 50/50 gender ratio, so Azuril has a chance at switching genders when it evolves.
(I'm not sure if this is still possible nowadays, though.)

I'd add the Emo Type which would be given specifically to Edgy Pokemon like Absol, Zoroark, and Umbreon. Also the Big type, it would resist Bug, Little and Baby and be Super Effective against each of those types , and It would multiply all stat changes by 2, so basically if simple was a type.

honestly, the brain storm sessions for new types should have been a video in themselves. must have been absolutely hilarious.

They made triple types possible JUST so Falinks could be Silly Little Guys, and I love it.

Here's some ideas.
Dargon type. Its icon looks exactly the same as Dragon with a typo, but the left half of its type matchup chart is mirrored horizontally.
Chill type, for the pokemon that you just wanna hang with.
As a reflection of Sharp, there's Blunt type, which could refer either to blunt weapons like rocks and fists, or weed.
First type, given only to the first pokemon of each region's dex.
Nice type, given to pokemon with 69 in their dex entry.

I think the "Prime" type refers to the mathematical prime numbers, number divisible only by 1 and themselves (2, 3, 5, 29 etc). Which sure is a way to make a type.

Finally got to watch the video after it taking me 6 attempts to beat the game because Flannery and Wattson stomped me over n over! Since it wasn't shown I also wanna mention, not only is grass effective against Gamer, Gamer moves can't hit grass type. Love that interaction.

This mod is an amazing way to experience a Pokemon game as a child again since back then we had limited knowlege and understanding of moves, types, items etc. You can have so much fun exploring the type weaknesses and resistances that we all know by heart by now!

A "Jerma" type for all the rodent/rat Pokemon would be fun. Also perhaps a type that gets stronger for every Pokémon on the team that has it?

There should be a gun type move called reload that lowers evasiveness but refills all of a random moves PP.

This is actually the experience game freak intended. You read all the garbage about matchups that seem obvious, but then quickly see there's combinations going on that you hadn't accounted for. After battling once though, it throws you the 'super effective/effective/not very effective' subtext so you dont have to remember every single pokemon

Since Ohio is in there I really wanna see a Bri'ish Type for pokemon with big ol' chompers, like Bidoof!
Also, a Straya type for us in Australia. Slap it on Kangaskan, Breloom and maybe Feraligatr. Super effective against Gun but Super weak to Fire...

I love the amount of thought put into the types. Like, the fact that Azurill and Marill are gender type references the fact that up until gen 6, 1/3 female Azurill would become male Marill upon evolving due to their gender ratios being different. I love the thoroughness of it all.

here's a suggestion: Happy type, where in if your Pokedex number is a happy number, you have the happy type. Happy numbers are numbers such that when you take the sum of the squares of each digit in the number you get 1. and you keep doing sum of squares for each number you get until either you get 1, or you get the infinite pattern 20, 4, 16, 37, 58, 89, 145, 42, 20...
The first four happy numbers are 1, 7, 10, 13, ...

Honestly, this may be the best Pokemon mod to date, at least that I've ever seen. The new moves are immaculate. Cut down on the meme types but keep triple-typing and it'd honestly blow canon Pokemon out of the water on every level. Amazing work from the team, love to see it!
I've also been advocating for a Space type for years, so it's great to see some vindication. I guess there's still room for a Dramatic type, with how many Pokemon have amazing poses or are simply extra in their descriptions.

We need an Animation type. Porygon would be a definite holder of the type.

This would be practically impossible, but imagine your pokemon’s type was it’s category. Like how pikachu is the mouse pokemon and druddigon is the cave pokemon. You could make all the attacks by a pokemon the same as it’s type (removing stab)
