Love all the new ghosts: badass looking team! God the endgame is so good...the last mission makes up for all of the technical issues the game has, otherwise--at least for me.

I did the same thing! Game has really overpowered ghost types. Even the hardest battles just end up with your last Pokémon being houndstone and just spamming last respects.

Nice seeing someone using Violet. Despite Violet being the "favorite", most Poketubers I've seen that played S&V, played Scarlett for their channel purposes and Violet for their personal use.

This has inspired me to do my own type only run, but with fairy instead of ghost. My rules were only use fairy type pokemon on your team, the only exception being my starter and they all must be nicknamed.

You should make this a series for violet but with everyone type would be really fun to watch 🙏

29:19 the main character is probably 120-130 pounds, some people can carry someone of this weight category but in that situation with him just holding onto the wrist he would have to be very strong. Though he could have some adrenaline on his side due to the fall. I know some people are strong without looking it and that may be the case for Arven

This is funny to me because I considered playing Violet as a Ghostlocke.
I decided to do an all-birds non-Nuzlocke run instead, since I just love all of the Gen 9 birds so much.

I love this game, but i got paralyzed by EVERYTHING!! Which is interesting because this is the first game where i’ve noticed NPC’s and wild pokémon take advantage of status effects. I also pretty much beat this game only using Annihilape as soon as I could get my hands on one

Gholdengo is a very good Pokémon plus it’s design looks rad, too bad it’s shiny sucks. Also if you let that Pokémon roam around with you it surfs on a wave of gold coins. That’s like super cool plus I read it’s entry in Scarlet that Gholdengo is really friendly and will make friends to anyone.

yo, just a tip but when you terrastilize only the weaknesses for that pokemon change, say if you have a ceruledge and tera it into a fire type, it wont have the weaknesses of a ghost type but ghost type moves will still be stab on that ceruledge

I think the only thing that bothers me about new pokemon games is that they keep stealing my cool names for moves and new pokemon. I always named my Gallade "Valiant or Valiance". I used to name ho-oh FireSong. There's a few others 😂

You could've just farmed the armor asap so that you had less trouble with the gym leaders in the early game ?(could've done the same with gimmighoul but would've been hard to enforce the level cap while doing that)

I did infact take Quaxley as my starter so fitting in your call to action that was it's option. I did have to laugh because when I saw your character he looked exactly like mine ( except mines frowning since when I made my character on launch day, I thought it would be funny to do that.) Got sad some news an hour later and so he's now a sad boy permanently.

I love ghost and dark types but I mostly have water types 😅

You know that scripted fight in the end?
If you use X Spec Def twice, your Dragon can easily tank the attacks of the other and with X Spec Att, you can get strong enough to kill it with ease.
BUT! If you try this, after a few turns, your poke will Terastilize WITHOUT CONSENT and win anyways...

You know that you could just evolve charcadet early and not in the level 40s by just using the sinistea in zapapico and to get more to spawn in just use the sandwich that boosts ghost encounters

I actually beat the game with the same exact team, making a mono ghost playthrough team second time in a row (after completing legends arceus with hisuian typhlosion, zoroark, basculegion, mismagius, rotom and froslass). Really fun

25:47 Assuming by "pseudo" you mean "pseudo-legendary", Haxorus actually isn't one! It really looks like one on a superficial level, but it actually doesn't have the stats for it; Haxorus only has a BST of 540, as opposed to the standard 600 for pseudo-legendaries.
I've very much made this mistake myself.

I can’t play this game b/c I don’t have a switch (😕), but if I could I’d pick Sprigatito because he was the one I was interested in from the beginning. Also, I hate Fuecoco’s middle evo and both of Quaxly’s evolutions (Quaxly himself is pretty great, though)

Couldn't help but notice the lack of ghost types

i loved the storytling and editing, very easy to watch and enjoyable, except if you allow me to critizice something in my opinion this was not a serious challenge, dont get my wrong i think a challenge is a challenge as long as you follow YOUR rules, the rules you've made for yourself, the thing isyou only said "only ghost type new mons" yet you used non-ghost type pokemon, old pokemon, you talked bout not overleveling and levelcaps yet u also used overleveled pokemon cause "i would have lost" or literally went to some events in the wrong order which caused you to be lots of levels ahead..
to sumarize, It would have been nice if you stated your rules or intentions at the very beginning since it seems like this was imposible to lose from the beginning you just adjusted your parameters as you went. i mean you definitely CAN do this as a nuzlocke and as an actual only ghost type run but if you're not gonna then say it, it is not a problem, only there is not much of a challenge if you dont have a rule set to.. you know.. do your challenge over? there was some parts like "i didnt wanna use this cause its 1lvl above the cap but i had to use it or i'd lose" or "i know this is not a ghost type (in a only ghost type challenge) but give it time" *then use for the first FOUR gyms* or "i originally wanted to do it as a nuzlocke but i lost and realized it'd be imposible so changed the rules and continued"... i dont know

Fuecoco is the most ghost esc evolution tree of the three starters as its last form looks like a skeleton which is undead, is that why you chose him or you just thought he was cool

Gholddngo is the 4th best Pokémon in the pealdea region and aniphlape is the 2nd best in my opinion
