He was a crucial part to our victory. When he saved that shot from like 2 yards out (I think in extra time) without looking at the ball… that’s when I truly felt we were winning the game
His save against Schevchenko was purely on instinct.

Calling Xabi Alonso a legende is cwazy. Man spent just about 5 years before hw went to Real Madrir where he played for 6 years. He then returned after retirement to coach at Real Madrids youth level.

I’m a united fan, watched this live on tv, that and the west ham final made me forever love gerrard as the greatest english midfielder. Yes scholes was more technically gifted than stevie but stevie was the whole package. It’s just a shame all the english managers (probably due to pressure from the FA based on status) tried to shoehorn lazy, son-of-a-celebrity, ball-watching lampard alongside gerrard for england and a shame that liverpool didn’t give gerrard the amount of trophies he deserved. But a champions league and FA cup is good enough for me. Legend

As Milan fan you guys make me can't sleep well for three days after that match, I also skiped school for two days when I 1st grade junior high school back then, you can't believe how depressed I am 😖
For me it's not about who win the game, it's about the way you defeated us, that's really hurts!! 😭
But now I realize Liverpool deserved to win because you have incdridible spirit and mentality even almost everyone predict Milan will win the game, hopefully someday we will meet again in final, it's always an honour play against great team like Liverpool 👏👏👏

I was watching this in the Sahara hotel in las Vegas with a Tottenham fan. Not a single other person watching it in the bar.... Can't lie, I cried. Getting back to the UK and celebrating with mates was the best.
