I think Roger Federer is the first ever player to be given the grandest farewell in tennis and sport history. He is the most complete tennis player who played like a true gentlemen! 🎉🎉🎉

@RAVI’s SNAP He is being a dick about it, but he is right though ... Sachin's stardom was largely restricted to the cricketing world. Tennis is much more widely played and viewed sport. Additionally, Roger Federer has done a lot in terms of philanthropy over the decades. Sachin has too, but not at the scale Federer has. People who don't even watch tennis have heard Roger's name.

The most complete player is still Djokovic. But Roger plays with an elegance and style that no one comes close to.

    • Routi
      Routi 2 months ago

@Nicole Gabriel and u know one thing roger federer playing tennis after 1 year and 2 months...it's not an easy to play against opponent like sock who won grand slam double champion..but Nadal won 2 grand slam this year..he is in top form this year so what pressure...Nadal could have done his best but failed to do it for federer..such a big player playing poor shots...and gifting them points...for federer he has better game than him but the opponent targeting on his body which making him error thats not federer making it..if they want fedal would have won it in 2nd set only if Nadal wouldn't miss some of the crucial chances

    • Nicole Gabriel
      Nicole Gabriel 2 months ago

@Routi Rafa did make errors at crucial moments bcoz he felt pressured to win for Roger! He was very nervous in the second set TB. But Roger served for match in the TB and made an errors too. However, that is tennis, these things happen. Things don't always happen as they we like. Both Rafa ad Roger were targeted, I didn't like the way Tiafoe was sticking the balls at them, hit Roger and Rafa had to duck to get away from ball. But like someone said, it was not about winning per say, it was about Roger playing is last match and saying farewell. It was a fun match and it shows why they are both he greatest!!! I wish Roger all the best in his future, tennis will not be the same without him!! But at least Rafa, my favorite, is still there for a while.😀

    • Routi
      Routi 2 months ago

@Bruno Oliveira he isn't joking...Nadal made too many errors and so as federer but Nadal could have took more responsibility as bcoz federer didnt play tennis 1 year..this is his first match in 2022..roger federer played some great shots but Nadal made some of the errors in crucial moments..federer errors wasn't that bad..they targeted him in bodies

    • Paul Johnson
      Paul Johnson 2 months ago

@Bruno Oliveira Why are two relatively unknown players winning against a team with 42 GS between them? This is a disgrace, they should have just fixed the match for Roger and Nadal to win, who cares, Roger deserved a better ending than this, so did Rafa, I hope Sock and Tiafoe have a nasty exit for this.

      Paul Johnson 2 months ago

@snickaren111 Wait, you're saying Fed wanted to blow a match point, and lose his last tournament, I think that's BS! Why the heck would you want to lose your last tournament like this, if this was Rafa, would he want to go out like that?

    • snickaren111
      snickaren111 2 months ago +2

That was the most respectful thing to do. Both to Federer and the Laver Cup. Fed wanted it this way, otherwise he would go out during an exhibition event. This was perfect, and the match point proved he still knows how to use a racket.

    • Paul Johnson
Paul Johnson 2 months ago +1

Yeah, but Fedal had match point! They should have found a way, especially Federer, but he blows it once again, the man clearly is cursed, literally right to the end, one s*itty backhand in the net, once he lost that match point, I knew they would lose the match, he needs to get those match point demons out of his head.

Sure, after winning Wimbledon 2019, all pretence, I wouldn't trust him, he should have never been so cocky with the divine intervention at Wimbledon 2019, but God only knows why, he could have retired happily then, now the poor man is being tortured.

RF would have easily won with Nole as his partner. Rafa's overall record indoors is not all that impressive, probably because he can't use the elements and/or doesn't get the time to set up and launch his poly-spin bombs. No doubt he left Laver Cup so as to not be humiliated. Nole is the GOAT.

Wow and once again he blows match point at the end and looses, how haunting, what a heartbreaking way to lose, I'd thought he'd have that- obviously someone up there jinxed him YET AGAIN- I'd never understand God's way, and tbh I think Federer must have done something to make him a complete bastard to end Federer's career like this, I mean for Christ sake let the man win his match point at least- to go out with a bang.

Top 10 Of The World's Funniest One Liners ever!
    1. I went to the fights, and a hockey game broke out.
    2. Time is what keeps things from happening all at once.
    3. For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism.
    4. Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
    5. Eschew obfuscation.
    6. Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
    7. A day without sunshine is like, night.
    8. We are born naked, wet and hungry. Then things get worse.
    9. Diplomacy is the art of letting someone else get your way.
    10. God made mankind. Sin made him evil.
Editorial: Maybe the world's most thought-provoking one-liner is "Eat right. Stay fit. Die anyway." It's sad but true -- no matter what you do, you will die. This is because you have sinned against God. Let's see if that's true: Have you ever lied (even once)? Ever stolen (downloaded games or movies that aren't yours)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Ever looked with lust?(pornography) If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we've only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. How will you do on Judgment Day? Will you be innocent or guilty? You know that you will be guilty, and end up in Hell. That's not God's will. He provided a way for you to be forgiven. He sent His Son to take your punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death. God promises everlasting life to all those who confess and forsake their sins, and trust in Jesus Christ. Please do that today . . . you may not have tomorrow. See John 14:21 for a wonderful promise. Then read the Bible daily and obey what you read. God will never let you down.Visit needgod.com
