mm. Everyone's kind of brother at the table. His extroverted personality is great for playing poker. Makes people want to open up to him. And talking to him is the worst idea in the world if you want to win. No matter what you talk about. Could be the weather. Just don't talk to him if you want any chance at winning XD
Chris is a good guy he just sucks at poker. But luck was on his side at the 2003 world series of poker and it took one of the best poker players missing a read. The best thing Chris Moneymaker had going for him was he beat Phil Ivey to get to the final table and that is when all the poker players knew Chris Moneymaker don't bluff. That is why he was able to pull off the best bluff in history.
Chris is such a nice guy at the poker table. If u ever watch him notice how everyone at the table is talking like they've known each other for years. I just watched some of the WSOP main event n he has everyone chatty and having fun.
I LOVE that J9 bluff by Moneymaker. Blocks the nuts, blocks 9Ts, blocks 99. Meanwhile, it's one of the worst hands he has in this spot, plus he doesn't block any of Sergio's bluffs. If you ever want to play a hand like TT, QJ, or AT this way, then you have to balance your range with 1 or 2 bluffs, and there are no better bluff candidates than J9 or Q9 of hearts. I think Sergio's call with the A2 is a really bad call to be honest, it's essentially the worst hand he's betting for value. He's not betting the river with KQ. I will say that calling with A2 is better than calling with A8 or A7, because Moneymaker could potentially be bluffing with busted straight draws that include an 8 or 7. That being said, I don't believe that's what's going through Sergio's head; I think he's just thinking "I'm on shark cage, I don't want to go to the cage, if I call I can't go to the cage, so I call." Against one of the pros, I think that play works a lot of the time.
That move by Johanna was brilliant: put out the bluff card knowing that Money Maker was looking to see what card she puts out, then pretend it was a mistake and play the "amateur bit". Brilliant!!! 😂
@Nosirt yeah lol and why would he call 100k raise on the turn and she thinks he’s got a flush draw and another diamond comes on the river and she try’s to bluff him of his flush with 150k bet lol no way she tried to bluff haha
Chris definitely got me started in poker; his run to the title was just amazing to watch... I have had some small successes playing (got on TV once) and also played a WSOP event. Still have a regular job tho!
I don't understand why people think Johanna's bluff card with full house is too unreasonable. She already had the mind set of wanting to represent a full house on the turn with 3 jacks if another diamond came on the river. She was worried he might have stayed in with a flush draw with 7 of diamonds and a high kicker diamond such as A. She is a tight player. Her bet could easily be seen as a value bet by a player as tight as her. Chris however is playing as though he was playing himself, loose.
I’m 51 years old back when I was about 30 I get four months in jail for DUI and these guys are killing me I’m laughing my ass off that they are so upset that they have to sit there for 10 minutes and they act like it’s hell lol
Daniel Negreanu : "I told you you need three eights! and you still called me" when he told him he needs three eights after the play was over . lol he must of been tired
So when someone gets bluffed they only go in the cage when the opponent placed one of the cards before the last round? So you could just place a value card to bluff? Or do you MUST place a bluff card every time you're bluffing? I don' get it. Can't you just bluff with the amount of chips you put in the pot?
At 43:00 when she puts the bluff card out it was an obvious angle shoot, she was hoping Chris knew which of her cards was value and bluff (she doesn't try to hide them and she used them shortly before), and she hoped to get called with her full house. No way you bluff trips!!!! Her argument doesn't make sense.
He called th 9 high just incase he got sent back to the cage, he would've thought 65k or the cage and preferred to loose 65k then going back to cage back to back rofl
@***** Suppose you make a river bluff, but put out the Value card? Your bluff can be called, but according to the rules as I understand them, because you said it was a value bet you can't get sent to the cage.
And we all end up here at this video AFTER watching every possible Clip-Share video of Poker, The Big Game, 2006 Wsop, 2003 Wsop, EPT, Best Hands, Bad Beats, Phil Ivey this, Phil Helmuth that, Etc...
Gotta be honest. Moneymaker is the reason millions of house games popped up everywhere across the USA. I was involved in clubs that used % of all the buy ins over the course of the year to send the years winner and runner up to the WSOP that I was able to accomplish twice. I’ve played hold em all my life but didn’t care to watch so much on tv until the year Moneymaker won the bracelet. That was a really hot year for poker for various reasons and the whole world’s population became amateurs overnight.
Johanna had to think a little too long and hard about folding that one hand. She didn't even have pair other than what was already on the board with like 5 and 7 off suited. That wasn't even worth it from a bluffing standpoint.
+Gerald Irsiegler She played the bluff card. She even said she didn't notice she had a full house. Even the commentator said Chris will think he's sent her to the cage, when he sees that bluff card...
When I was 4 my dad said to get my penny jar and come to the living room. He taught me to play poker. I lost my whole jar of change and he never gave it back. That's when I was hooked.
Chris: "People don`t realize that when she bets, she either got a straight or air" What about one pair, two pair, a set. What a stupid call, she could be bluffing with the best hand there. I thought it was a bluff, pretty high level/stupid to think someone would call with anything less then a K.
44:30 she said she hasn't noticed she rivered a house, I'm just wondering if it wasn't a 7 for real, would she bluff w trips? these qualifiers, always accostumed w a hand strength meter hahaha
Moneymaker: What you don’t realize is that on that board if she doesn’t have a pair, she has the straight or she’s got air. Me: so her outs are any 2, pocket 3’s, pocket 4’s, pocket 5’s, pocket 6’s, pocket 7’s, pocket 8’s, pocket 9’s, any 10, any jack, any queen, any king or any ace...got it.
what did she try to do bluffing with trips to get a flush to fold on a board in her mind just had 1 pair on it? no one will fold a rivered flush for such a small bet that in her mind had only pair of jacks on it
She didn't see the second seven so she thought she was bluffing.... What? She thought he had a flush and she was going to bluff him off it... what? By her own admission she 'does good' in poker. I think she'll be heading back to that day job a hell of a lot quicker than she thinks.
If you can't spot the sucker, you are the sucker. 90% of the time I am the sucker, but in this situation I think I would have been aware that my opponent can beat me only with 77. Also she said she puts him on a flush cause she haven't noticed the 7, but the last diamond was a 7... Wut?
Can someone please explain why sometimes you can’t see some players cards while they are playing and sometime you can? I’m assuming the players choose that like not to show but I can’t see why it would matter.
Who do you think was the best player this episode?
@Romeo John Buy dung! Crazy Nancy does! All HER PICKS are for the children, the children, the children. 🤯🤪👹💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩🤡👹👹👹👹💩💩💩💩💩
@Travis Hile Truckett & Daniel heads up.
@KodyKaz Maybe he was working for buy dung?.
I love Johanna
Mother earth
Daniel is SO entertaining to watch. That guy could outplay me all day and I'd still have fun just watching him do his thing
mm. Everyone's kind of brother at the table. His extroverted personality is great for playing poker. Makes people want to open up to him. And talking to him is the worst idea in the world if you want to win. No matter what you talk about. Could be the weather. Just don't talk to him if you want any chance at winning XD
@Romeo John god doesn’t belong in poker He only plays slots

You can always tell how old the game is by Daniels hair
Lmaooooo
same for his shirts early 2ks he had baggy clothes mostly jerseys lmfao
Or lack of it, he is looking damn good these days, maybe that comes from winning over 50mil
@Beardslap Radio hat version was an awkward stage for sure LOL
Lmao
First hand starts at about 5:20. This was unbearable before that.
Not all heroes wear capes.
Say what you want about Moneymaker, he’s got a great attitude.
Chris is a good guy he just sucks at poker. But luck was on his side at the 2003 world series of poker and it took one of the best poker players missing a read. Same dichead he always was. Got lucky once and won. And has done nothing since. Still a fat nobody.
@Din Djarin LMFAO
Jesus loves you all share the gospel it’s worth it watch over everyone you care for and love
HELL IS REAL!!!!
@Aldon Dekock wtf you literally copy and pasted this from a 2 year old comment lmao ur weird
"Cuckoo for poker bluffs." That was good. Also this was a pretty wholesome and refreshing game after watching 5 Phil Helmuth videos in a row.
I was gonna say, these commentators are super on top of their punny banter, and I'm loving it.
Love kid poker....he needs to always be on tv at all times
Wow, Chris has been playing this long and he still gets the shakes with a good hand.
that nose twitch 😂
One of the more entertaining series of pokers :)
Chris is such a nice guy at the poker table. If u ever watch him notice how everyone at the table is talking like they've known each other for years. I just watched some of the WSOP main event n he has everyone chatty and having fun.
Man these commentators are the reason i watch these shows🤣
Commentators were on FIRE from a comedy perspective this episode
I LOVE that J9 bluff by Moneymaker. Blocks the nuts, blocks 9Ts, blocks 99. Meanwhile, it's one of the worst hands he has in this spot, plus he doesn't block any of Sergio's bluffs. After listening to the WPT commentary, and I can't believe I'm saying this, these commentators actually feel like a breath of fresh air 😏
Right? Make about sense about bit seeing 7. Who is bluffing top trip on the river?
I'm ashamed to say this but: YES this I needed from poker viewing.
Daniel is SO entertaining to watch. That guy could outplay me all day and I'd still have fun just watching him do his thing
did you just copy paste one of the top comments? LMFAO dafuq
First hand into the game and we're already talking about Hook (the movie) references. Gonna be a good one.
Chris: I cant get em up
Daniel: That's what she said
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Daniel is a connoisseur. Neutral spirits and water
I love that Chris never forgets where he comes from. It takes so much confidence to win millions, but still keep it real enough to cut your own hair.
Chris definitely got me started in poker; his run to the title was just amazing to watch... I have had some small successes playing (got on TV once) and also played a WSOP event. Still have a regular job tho!

Pokerstars should make an online shark cage
Action starts at 5:25
Cuckoo for Poker Bluffs is by far his best commentary so far.
Negreanu é um DEUS !
I think the only reasons why we saw Chris not playing a few hands was because he either was in the cage or he eventually was eliminated
21:15 “i like vodka!”. I like this guy more and more! Daniel 🤘
Moneymaker - “I’m not goin’ to the Cage.”
**Ends up first in the cage**
Sweet, sweet irony.
Money maker runs so lucky. Especially during his WSOP run it’s scary
There goes Sam Trickett and half our female audience 😂😂
This has to be the goofiest table ever lmao
32:40 Love the 'Expert' post-hand analysis...
I think they let moneymaker win the WSOP to cause a buzz. Either way it worked, poker blew up after that.
I’m 51 years old back when I was about 30 I get four months in jail for DUI and these guys are killing me I’m laughing my ass off that they are so upset that they have to sit there for 10 minutes and they act like it’s hell lol
gente alguém aí me ajuda? onde eu posso comprar esse baralho aí? ?????😍😱
Moneymaker getting a flush straight and 3 of a kind in a row lmao
22:48 Shuffle the cards behind the table to open pick on the table #genius
The best part about these videos is the commentary.
11:35 "That almost makes sense.." Took the words right out of my mouth. Joe certainly does say some dumb stuff.
Those two are a perfect match, they even look alike.
Chris “money maker 😂” has one of the worst poker faces ever lol. He genuinely shakes with a slightly good hand….
Daniel Negreanu : "I told you you need three eights! and you still called me" when he told him he needs three eights after the play was over . lol he must of been tired
Actually, it's "you bet anyway".
It’s really not aces, he definitely says Eights
19:06
And its ACES not eights
The call with 9 high wouldve been soo genius if it was a bluff
many of the bluffs in that spot beat 9 high.
One of the best episodes very funny
So when someone gets bluffed they only go in the cage when the opponent placed one of the cards before the last round? So you could just place a value card to bluff? Or do you MUST place a bluff card every time you're bluffing? I don' get it. Can't you just bluff with the amount of chips you put in the pot?
That poker bluffs line wasn't that bad.
19:00 wow how many times does he do his magic and get the card he needs on the river? sick
He already had top pair before the river lol
starts at 5:30
Kinda hate but also kinda love Dnegs. He always spread good vibes and laughter at the tabs.
Tell me Sergio throws his shoe 👟 when he loses 😂
At 43:00 when she puts the bluff card out it was an obvious angle shoot, she was hoping Chris knew which of her cards was value and bluff (she doesn't try to hide them and she used them shortly before), and she hoped to get called with her full house. No way you bluff trips!!!! Her argument doesn't make sense.
Not an angle shoot. He was trying to see where her value/bluff cards were, so she's fully in the right to double bluff him and get him to call.
Wow chris played like a rookie lol & the qualifer too but she's an exception. This make me think I have a future in poker 😂
He called th 9 high just incase he got sent back to the cage, he would've thought 65k or the cage and preferred to loose 65k then going back to cage back to back rofl
I DON’T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY, MONEYMAKER, YOU AMAZENG
Too much cuteness, like a room full of teenie boppers
Sergio Garcia.....and a middle aged woman. Thankfully there will be thousands of middle aged women watching
Don't they have any rules in place for the obvious angle shoot, for putting out the wrong Value/Bluff card?
@***** Suppose you make a river bluff, but put out the Value card? Your bluff can be called, but according to the rules as I understand them, because you said it was a value bet you can't get sent to the cage.
I'd love to see Maria Ho try to function in this environment
what a damm entrance epic i looovveeee
Damn I like the commentators on this show
And we all end up here at this video AFTER watching every possible Clip-Share video of Poker, The Big Game, 2006 Wsop, 2003 Wsop, EPT, Best Hands, Bad Beats, Phil Ivey this, Phil Helmuth that, Etc...

I understand he played the bluff card, because he assumed his pair was no good. But calling with a weaker hand... u should still lose..
Johanna had to think a little too long and hard about folding that one hand. She didn't even have pair other than what was already on the board with like 5 and 7 off suited. That wasn't even worth it from a bluffing standpoint.
Money maker and Doyle Bronson are both good
Do they get to ever leave the cage once they win??
If someone calls a bluff, the bluffer has to go to the cage. She thought she was bluffing when Chris called. Therefore, she should go to the cage.
+MrBeatboxmasta Oh you're talking about that hand, thought you meant one with the king.
+Gerald Irsiegler She played the bluff card. She even said she didn't notice she had a full house. Even the commentator said Chris will think he's sent her to the cage, when he sees that bluff card...
+MrBeatboxmasta She played the value card. She didn't think she was bluffing..
That moment when Chris called with *nine high*
Honestly ... those 2 commentators are one the very best duos across EVERY fucking event that is being commented on. Theyre a treasure
I love the announcers...
I’m loving that Office Space reference
these are the best commentators!
When I was 4 my dad said to get my penny jar and come to the living room. He taught me to play poker. I lost my whole jar of change and he never gave it back. That's when I was hooked.
I went to grade school with Chris Moneymaker and his nickname was “Money” back then.
You can tell Chris Moneymaker was trying to "outplay" Johanna for TV
Hittin more hands than a psychotic piano teacher😭😭😭
The dealer tho.. 🥵🥵
And 19:21 is NUTS 😂😆
Chris: "People don`t realize that when she bets, she either got a straight or air"
What about one pair, two pair, a set. What a stupid call, she could be bluffing with the best hand there. I thought it was a bluff, pretty high level/stupid to think someone would call with anything less then a K.
He had the nut no pair is what he was trying to say.. Either way dumb call
Silly question but at ~34:20 why are the players cards not shown?
Why does the intro feel more like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares than a poker tournament?
That commentator is hilarious
Johanna should've been there on the big game
"He's been hitting more hands than a psychotic piano teacher" 🤣🤣🤣
Chris Moneymaker is so likeable
44:51 Truest statement she has made.
So there you have it, pulling a bluff card while you're ahead means jack shit....
Chris has been hitting his hands more than a psychotic piano teacher😂👏🏼
what did she try to do bluffing with trips to get a flush to fold on a board in her mind just had 1 pair on it? no one will fold a rivered flush for such a small bet that in her mind had only pair of jacks on it
Doesn’t staying in the shark cage actually help you? You can’t get eliminated right?
TTimTyphoon yes like 5 big blinds, small blinds and ante but like if you’ve got it cover then you might see people get eliminated before you😂
You will lose some money
She didn't see the second seven so she thought she was bluffing.... What? She thought he had a flush and she was going to bluff him off it... what?
By her own admission she 'does good' in poker. I think she'll be heading back to that day job a hell of a lot quicker than she thinks.
She knew he was looking at her bluff/value cards and he knew where they were, so she put the bluff card out as a double bluff.
Shes absolute garbage .. just proves how lucky some people are
If you can't spot the sucker, you are the sucker. 90% of the time I am the sucker, but in this situation I think I would have been aware that my opponent can beat me only with 77. Also she said she puts him on a flush cause she haven't noticed the 7, but the last diamond was a 7... Wut?
lol indeed chris mental state=tilt he never folds flush for 150k on a single paired board if she did not see second 7
she was slow rolling plain and simple.
Anyone know what are the cards used in this poker table?
Alguno sabe que cartas estan usando?
Watching someone drink outta someone else’s cup in COVID times.
Can someone please explain why sometimes you can’t see some players cards while they are playing and sometime you can? I’m assuming the players choose that like not to show but I can’t see why it would matter.
Lol, Tricket complaining about getting sucked out by Negreanu. Yet there is plenty of occasions where he's put some horrible beats on other players.
Definitely a hook reference lol
YEY he didnt bluff me when I had 7 high OMG! 14:59
