My 14 pro max is a damn good phone probably gonna keep it for at least 3-5 years. Last phone I had was 13 pro max but I broke it so I upgraded but before that was an old galaxy S5 I got brand new was mint condition and when the 13 pro max came out I got it. Switching was sooo easy but I do miss android a lil bit. Someone stole my damn S5.
I'll upgrade in the next 4 years. Only upgrade here is usb-c not a game changer whatsoever.

Yeah I’m still on my 13PM since launch but looks like I may be sitting out for the 15PM as well. I think the sweet spot is every 3-4 years so that it feels like an entirely new device.

Here's what changed (according to the video):
- mute switch turned into action button, the 2 separate volume buttons have now been merged into 1 long one
- the bezels and dynamic island are a bit slimmer than before
- they have transitioned to USB-C
- the camera module might be a bit smaller but I have no clue.

@Insanity laugh old 13 pro max in Sierra blue, wife has the 14 pro max but I got bored with apple and went for S23 Ultra, hands down the superior phone. I game alot and it's insane. Also the display is better than the 14 pro max. Alot of other things as well but yeah, easy choice
I personally think if you have the iPhone 14 pro max there’s no point in upgrading to any of the 15 series phones because the 14 pro max actually has a lightning cable and is very similar to the 15. The only differences I see is usb-c, a camera better by like 9%, and titanium on the sides.

I got the iPhone 14 pro max the day it was released last year…and I went to that from an iPhone 8! 🤯 I usually hang on to my phone for 5 years. There’s no way I’m getting this unless they have awesome colors lol
I have no choice but to upgrade this time. I’m on a 12 pro max and it has so many issues from battery life to phantom inputs( dry screen). USB c is gonna be nice, but it sucks that I really can’t wait for the 16
I am proudly watching this on my 12 pro max that has been extremely taken care of. I change the screen protector, phone case every 6 months and I purchased it in 2021. My phone is still brand new without a scratch. See you until Iphone 20 pro max

Nah you're dillusional if you still use the charging port. I've been wirelessly charging my iPhone 11 Pro Max (with MagSafe Case) for now over 6 months and I won't go back.... Not only do I no longer worry about wearing my cable/port down, I don't have to worry about water inhibiting it from charging and I can always "set my phone down" at my desk or while driving and it charges. Sure, it gets warmer and some don't like how slow it charges, but it's plenty fast and works more reliably than using the port. Apple should/have just eliminated the port and gone for an iPhone that can be sumberged underwater.
Yeah with usb 2, speed limited to 480mb/s soo exciting to watch your file copying for one hour.
@It’s Me Absolutely disagree with you, you who use the MagSafe are a minority. I have a 12 Pro since it came out and I've never used normal wireless charging or MagSafe, I haven't really bought the magsafe cable and I don't even use magsafe covers. I prefer transparent covers and the Apple magsafe one has, for obvious reasons, the white circle where the magnets are, which absolutely ruins the aesthetics of the cover and you're quicker not to have a transparent one. Apart from the fact that I have never particularly cared about USB-C, I have always been happy with the lightning port, but I understand the need for many to have just one cable for all devices. Precisely because there are very few of you who use only magsafe, I disagree that Apple should go directly to an iPhone without a charging port. Honestly, it never matters to me, remove everything for what, waterproofing? Who cares. Never used the phone in water even if resistant, and even if it were guaranteed 100% resistant I wouldn't do it anyway, you never know. For me, technology and liquids that aren't right for them are two things to keep away, in any case.
In case you haven’t been informed it’s only in Europe, Europe is having a law that’s enforcing type C over all electronics in the EU, that includes all iPhone & AirPods, so they’ll prob have a insane resale value in the US, if u want one sadly

The white one is the 15. The bezels are a little thinner but you can barely notice that. Smh..I'm glad they are doing this because it helps save money and from keeping people from wanting to run out wanting to buy a new phone that looks 100% the same.

12 pro max is staying in my pocket it looks like. Type C is nice, sure. But with its fourth year leveraging this almost identical form factor, with changes so negligible, I can almost guarantee the average user would be hard pressed to differentiate a 12-14, minus dynamic island gimmick of course. I was hoping the type C shift would usher in a new design. It likely required enough internal changes to tread lightly, as Apple tends to do, and stick to the trusted shell, allowing enough time to test out the new internals with changes to the overall visuals, which are undoubtedly already underway. I will say though that given such a nominal facelift, Apple will be hard pressed to market pretty vast upgrades to both internals and hardware capability. Type C, thinner bezels. Meh. This periscope camera I am hearing about must be a game changer. Because the island might be improved, but you’re going to have to start selling people on upgrades that justify the price in renewing, given that realistically the iPhone is a status symbol for many. So if it looks like your have the latest, you probably feel content in almost all social settings, because the new phone geeks will rejoice about any significant functional changes, that go way beyond a thinner bezel and a matte finish combined with a smattering of new colours, with at least one new hero colour…hoping for that deep red…I guess milestone 15 wasn’t what we had hoped. Sweet 16 it is. Remember, Apple is not a tech company, it’s a design and marketing firm. Expect this new feature for the 15 to be marketed as a net new game changer, while Android fanboys sit in wait to claim their devices had said feature in 2015. 😍😍😍
you can't tell a 12 from a 13 or 14 from far away, but you can when you get up close on the 14 and see the display, the 13 you really have to keep up with tech just to notice that smaller notch and the re arranged diagonal instead of vertical cameras on the 13 and 14 base

There used to be more gap between new releases. I had 5S, then 7, then 13p, but I think it’s getting harder to hold onto 1 for that long. I feel like even though I really take a good care of it, it’ll get broken a lot sooner. It’s not about whether we want a new one anymore, we actually have to buy it because old ones will become useless.
I cant see the difference between 15pm and 14pm, all differences from 15pro max are just the volume button and screen, and color is also included! It does not worth much if the updates!
