Four-boy-mom here… Our first two are best friends. Our second pair came back-to-back and ten YEARS removed from the youngest of the first pair due to cancer-caused infertility. Hence, the second pair are nothing short of an absolute MIRACLE. EVERYONE told me when I became pregnant with number 3 that it was my longed for and prayed-for daughter. Here’s what God told me when we found out he was a boy-children are not defined by the gender I gave them-they are defined by the PURPOSE I have for their individual lives and gifts, regardless of what gender they are. He also told me, in those same moments amidst my streaming tears, that our third was ‘meant to move mountains’ so I painted his whole room with mountains. He is now 3 and an half and the most powerful person I’ve ever met. I have no doubt that he is ordained to do AWESOMELY IMPORTANT things, in the name of our Savior! EMBRACE your role. Raising boys into great men of God is no small task and to be given that task four times over is no small faith that the Lord clearly has in US in assigning us to being their mothers. Besides, I cling to the promise of the wives and possible daughters my sons will bring into all of our lives, someday. God doesn’t give us a heart for a daughter and not prevail. Don’t have more just to try and ‘get that girl’-He will Faithfully bestow women on and into your lives in other ways. This is how I see it for myself, anyway. God Bless you and your four sons! 💙💙💙💙

I am the oldest of 4 boys, so my Mom was a boy mom for sure! She died in a car accident about 7 years ago when I was 17, but she left a legacy of faith and love, both for husband and for her boys. Mom always took time to read books to us, talk to us, and let us "help" out. Through all this and more, she showed us the love of God! I just wanted to encourage you both as you raise your boys for the Lord. The way you love each other, and the way you love your boys and the time you spend with them will deeply impact them for the rest of their lives! God bless you!

Well...there's still a chance for a girl. I had my two boys at 27 and 29. The shop closed for years and at 37 I had a girl. She's the icing to our cake, but being a boy mom for so many years was so wonderful.

She had a C-section. No real labor pains. Surgery and drugs. ALL women who grow a human being and bring them into the world are strong and brave.
