The reason many English words are shorter in America is because the in the first printing presses, every letter that would be printed had to be set by hand and people advertising in the papers were charged by how much space their ad would take up. So printers were removing extra letters in order to save time and advertisers tried to save space by changing the spellings of words so they would be shorter but still understandable. I couldn't tell you why the British didn't do the same thing though.

keralis, bdubs and tango are going and making things industrial while scar is using contraptions to play vanilla minecraft and zed is practically finding ways to make these inventions playthings
There is actually an expansion mod for create currently in development called create aeronautics and it would allow you to do lots of really cool things, including having vanilla redstone and create parts on contraptions and having them continue to function just like placing them on the ground the mod also has aerodynamics and lift mechanics so you can make flying creations. The mod is not out yet and I'm not sure what the current release date is but when it does come out it would definitely make a great addition to any create themed world.

I can see Zed wanting this mod for Hermit Craft. Imagine how many more Zedcheivments he could come up with. Like how many Hermits can be "Plowed" into the air at one time. So many ways to kill or move hermits.

Technically, you can hit a washer with 9 fans in short order 💨 😶🌫️ Placing the first 4 on the same y lvl as the depo and the next 4 on top of those counts as being in the washing line. The 9th is overhead. And since it's a quantity over rotational speed issue, it can only take a very small amount of power.
ZED THE FLOOR, the outputs should go onto a belt, floor should be more see through, could see the outputs moving below your feet like the base is alive.

Hey zed. Been experimenting around with create and I've found something quite fun you'd be interested in as far as transportation goes. If you have a fan with a nozzle on it. It blows air in all directions. If the fan is spinning at 256 rpm, it produces some significant force and can send you flying. If your using an elytra and you fly near it, it gives you a massive boost into the air.

Just so you know, you can actually use 8 fans per depot. 4 on the same level as the depot and 4 one level above as you placed them. Of course this will double your speed.

How did you solve the icing problem? No sorry. I mean, the double cooking problem. Some recipes can be smelted twice. It's not common, but I found this problem in my mod pack. For example, Cobblestone> Stone > Smooth Stone. It will be cooked until it can not using the filter. There're more moded items that work this way. In the end, I have to cut the conveyer speed in half and blow on it. Which is pretty slow since I can't smelt it in bulk.
The placards act as more than just a special item frame. If you right-click on them with the same item, they'll output a redstone signal. If you don't have the right item, the signal won't output. The same goes for named items. In short, you can create a keycard system.
Is there any reason that you are only using four fans instead of 8? If you put two fans on top of each other pointing at the same Depot both the fan on the same y level as the depot as well as the one above will contribute to the washing, cooking, ect. If you are already going from all four sides you might as well double up and get them really going
I've been experimenting with a similar design (before I saw the video). I currently have a design that can launch the player 800 blocks up in the air. I've spent a good amount of time optimizing it. The use-case is to have an underwater atlantis base and to have the exit be this slingshot that launches the player up into the sky to fly around in on my hardcore save. Here's a demo: clip-share.net/video/Zcexx58LNhQ/video.html EDIT: Now the max I've reached is 1450 blocks high and 100-150 blocks horizontally at the same time.
The flingificator is awesome lol To retrieve the items from the contraption you can add water streams or conveyor belts to the 4 corners and bring up the items to another barrel. Also speaking of barrels lookup the crate textures from Chipped (you can see examples already in Scar's base)

You could use a vertical rotating spin launcher to give you an initial boost with an elytra to save firework rockets.

One thing you can do with minecart assemblers is you can make them under a spawner, engage a minecart, and it takes the spawner for you to move it!

I'd imagine that a mechinical piston with a plough on it would be faster, less glitchy and more efficient.

Your launcher is perfect for a mini game where you launch mobs and try to shoot them in the air with a bow.
