First Gorillaz album, what an album! Still original and catchy even 22 years later. I'm lucky to be there at the time, all the buzz and hype was well due.
First heard this at my friend Edwards 7th, probably, birthday party. Legit one of my earliest memories, I ended up moving out of the UK a year or so later and never saw him again. Kept listening to Gorillaz though, got me into graffiti, hip hop and beats, music generally, even probably helped inspire my love for four wheel drives too lol, all things that have had a massive impact on my life and choices. Super stoked I got into them so young, thanks Edward and your dad who I'm pretty sure put the album on haha.
Great trilogy, it was so good for Damon to call it a day after Plastic Beach and not let Gorillaz become a half-assed star-filled project where the animated characters don't care anymore.
At least that original decade of gorillaz will always be sick. The comeback era has had its peak (the now now) and is getting pretty hilariously bad now imho
@gabzony Music serves to make people feel emotion, as well to tell a story. Gorillaz told lots of stories with their music and people might not get the info they need to hear :)))

I remember all my childhood with the first album, i loved Gorillaz from minute one.
Damon Albarn is a music genius with Blur, Gorrilaz and other great projects. And he's still out there performing and making new music.
This is awesome 😎 one of my all time favorite bands is Gorillaz I've been into them since 2004
