I was at that show. That thing is legitimately quick. It was out running the methanol trucks during racing. It's not the first diesel monster truck that was rolling thunder in the 80s but that thing had a 2 stroke Detroit diesel and was slow even by the standard of the era. Watching this thing launch off the line at boost was impressive.
If you ever want to go to one of these, go to the monster jam finals. They tour the whole US, and probably Europe and have to make the trucks last a bit longer. The finals everyone goes for broke. I went to the 2010 finals in Vegas, Max D and Grave digger had about 8 trucks each and wrecked them all in freestyle.
I still have yet to understand how you got 16.5 MILLION views on seattle freestyle.. thats insane :'D Im guessing bc it was a first event there in awhile lol. That rocks

The Grave Digger has been around since I was a kid - my first R/C was the Blackfoot my second was The Grave Digger-took me 4 days of my Christmas break to put it all together- damn I miss that R/C

Dennis was, is, and will always be the best driver and only true driver of GD in my option. but the truck it's self, I hear 'Grave Digger is going to be there' doesn't matter who is driving I will go to the show if I can.
