This was Rey's decades of Rage and personal betrayal coming out. This was Eddie's Betrayal. This was Batista's Betrayal. It's honestly one of those storylines I can't help but feel personally invested in due to how much I love Rey's character.

This is the beauty of long-term storytelling. In his legendary career, Rey wouldn't have had a crowd pop as big that often & it would be sweeter for him because it's with his own son. When this feud ends I hope to see Dom established as a star because he too has been excellent since his turn at Clash of the Castle.
Rey has had the most interesting and intense family feud storyline's of all times.

I wonder if Eddie is looking down at his friend and his "nephew" (Dom might have considered Eddie like an uncle back in the day) and telling the other departed wrestlers, "Oh, how I wish I was down there to take part in this! This is true Latino Heat!"

During my 20 years watching Smackdown since I was 8 years old , this is one of the best Smackdown moments ever, in my opinion.
This was an absolute fantastic segment. The way he shouted at his Mum, completely drew Rey over the edge. This was perfect.
This years WrestleMania has the potential to be one of the best in a long long time. Maybe one of the Greats of All Time. The build ups, The match card, the implications…..My GOD! I can’t wait for next weekend man. It’s gonna be a hell of a Wrestlemania weekend.
So far the build ups have been the best in over a decade. Just gotta give everyone a good amount of time to finish the story in the ring and I can't wait to see how everything unfolds.

The story is put up so beautifully. Dom's confidence on the Mike is increasing more and more. He is winning matches. Good to see him grow. Rey and The Judgement Day has a extremely important role in making him grow, giving him the space he needed to rise. The pop here was immense. Loving this❤️❤️❤️

@SteezyI respect that. I just think in my own opinion it's the other way around if not both ways. I think he still is a little green in his move set as well. But I think his mic skills need a little bit more work. Solid heel, be he just needs the right components as a heel. They've done a good job having him finally break off from Rey to get a decent heel foundation under Balor, Ripley and Priest.
@Steezy Ring work can be sharpend, he's shown he's not usless or a danger to himself and others, so there is no reason he can't improve as time goes on (sticking him with Finn will only improve him as well, as well as actually working vs his Dad). But he has some damn good mic skills and comedic timing. He's shown he can make some good, real heat with the crowd and that is somthing MUCH harder to do than the wrestling side of things.
He's no David Flair, I doubt he will be better in ring than his dad, but I can see him being better on the stick than him.
Got to give it up to Dominik. He turned and has got better each week. The pop when Rey finally hit him and accepted Doms Challenge is why I love Pro Wrestling so much. Story telling at its best.
And to think Smackdown was supposed to be a grade B show and not the flagship of wwe... Smackdown gets better and better every week. It outshined RAW for sure.

Dom is a natural. He plays the heel so well its almost believable that there is real Life heat between them. I know Rey Mysterio is proud on how he generates the boos from the crowd.

You can't really feel bad for Dominick since he kept demanding and goading Rey to hit him over and over again over the course of weeks, so he really just got what he asked by that point.
