dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend for the last days :)
Is this a real question? Which of these bad beats did everyone else at the table celebrate? My favorite part is that had Phil not asked how many times Ernest wanted to run it, he would have won the whole pot. Having Tony G, Laak, and Negreanu at the table to pile on was icing on the cake.
Watching Phil's reactions is really funny but he did let the guy run it 4 times, that was actually very cool of him and in true buddy fashion, everyone at the table rubbed it in and gave him shit.
@Jorge Herrera and I would play like Phil because I will think in worse case you will have 2 kings so win twice with 15 percent chance then even less if one king shows up. So I have a bigger chance to win because one time is risky even if odds are with you, it's poker. I watched the complete thing and luck was against him. Remember hand 8 9 and 8 10. He had it and a 9 showed up on the river. I repeat myself again, whatever you say I am still convinced that he did it to save his money in the first place.
@Mr. Mileena I 100% want to play with you if you’ll run it 4 times when you have the advantage. 100% will play with you. Not even a moment of hesitation.
@Jorge Herrera and reality makes it even more concrete. Would you give away 50k to a stranger in a cash game, if so let's play together. You can tell by his attitude after that he is not fine with it. If he wanted to act fine, he would be OK and not look sick. There is no need to try to convince me, you have your opinion and I have mine.
@Jorge Herrera you are not in his head so you don't know... He could also lose with 15 percent, it's poker. Playing 4 times was a way for him to stay in the game for sure.
@El Patron There are a pair of Aces on the board. Busquet's hand plays as AAAKK, Aces full of Kings, beating the lower Kings full of Aces (was full of 8's until the river)
If Pokerstars wants to make a top 5 bad beats they could have saved time looking for these clips and just sat in on one of their online cash tables for 30 minutes.
the last one was the most hilarious, Negreanu hyping everyone up, Phil saying "yeah I really like it" and the jabs from Tony G. And of course an amateur (I'm guessing) beating him. Phil's worst nightmare
Statistically, the worst bad beat here is Busquet over Reichardt, as he had only four unique card combinations which could win (ace of clubs + ace of hearts, ace of clubs + ace of diamonds, ace of hearts + ace of diamonds, or 8 + 8), which means his odds were 1/248. The second worst here is more complicated, but is certainly Phil Hellmuth beat three times. The odds of Phil being beat three times or more, given the cards in play after each run, turns out to be about 1/162. Here's a more interesting fact: The odds were near 1/5050 that Phil would be beat all four times. If only.... (Note: The actual odds of losing 3/4 runs in a given situation requires consideration of 543 billion different possibilities, which would be quite challenging to determine. I assumed that each run was independent of the others {"given the cards in play after each run"}, which is technically incorrect, in determining Phil's likelihood of being beaten. This strategy included a more manageable 3454 combinations. Perhaps the math emphasizes how complex poker can be.)
One thing that pushes those odds into deeper territory is the fact that there's a card burned before each turn, and another card burned before the river. Wiggins dodged having his outs burned between turns and rivers.
@jack lawrence I'm not really sure to be honest. His statement is in consideration of possible bad beats. Now i'm confused, haha, guess we take it as how we understand it to be fair, either pre or post flop. I'm not even sure why i'm here dicussing this. pbwy.
@Dion Polfliet Its not the same thing, this was just a regular tournament, not the WSOP main event, and Moneymaker has been losing money consistently since 03´ when he won the main event, he´s not a pro, he´s a bad player who happened to luckbox his way into a big win, which has sustained him until now, and you can´t compare playing a big cup final to a poker tournament, there is tournaments every single day, cup finals is once maybe twice a year.
@User Are you kidding me? His daughter will never have a lets say 6th birthday again, and the moment your gambling addiction goes before your own daughter its time to stop and re-evaluate your priorities, this isnt even a debate, its just basic morals.
fair play to phil. he was giving the loose cannon a chance to stay obviously very unlucky to lose 3 in a row. but he showed some class there running it 4 times
THe first hand is far away from being a bad beat. Mercier got it in good and was a 2 to 1 fav pre flop but after flop and turn, that really wasn´t a bad beat from start to finish. The second one of course was a good and deserved one :-)
I like Phil Hellmuth and understand why other people dont. However, he plays solidly and complains often because he usually is right about running bad. If you get him away from the table he really is a class act.
@ZombieNationLTD If he gave up Poker after the 12th bracelet, he would be one of the legend. However, he will be remembered as one of the biggest mouths now.
That actually makes him the most skillful poker player ever as well . Imagine being the unluckiest and still being the player who has the most bracelets .
I don't think Phil was slow rolling. He thought it was a genuine possibility that the Loose Cannon had tens. They should show pre-flop but they don't because it would show that Wiggins flatted against Helmuth's raise. That's why he did that bit of speech play before shoving. Wiggins answer to whether or not he had AA or KK made him sure he had him beat. Not to mention it was super classy to let him run it 4 times. I'm pretty sure the others at the table just don't like Phil.
the first on this list always gets me laughing. phil hellmuth taking a bad beat is the funniest. He couldnt even spaz because he slow rolled a freaking amatuer player HHAHAHAHAHA
That shit happens daily online. I'm not impressed. My 3bet A-A just got beaten by an A-5o on the SB... Flop A-5-8. Both all in. Runner runner 5-5. Lost 300 bucks there...
@DoctorChained It's more about phil running it 4 times on that board what's he got ? trips, nothing more.. facing set chance, and backdoor flushes and backsdoor straights. He just shouldn't offer 100000 outs to the guy and complain afterwards.
The second one wasn't a slow roll it was his whole stack against big stack, he was thinking aces up. He didn't even take that long, you have to give home time to count blinds.
People talk crap about Phil but he's the most entertaining and I good guy off the air. Plus he let the guy run it 4 times to give him some chance if staying alive. Good man
2nd Hand (4th in video) isn't that bad of a beat either. PP v. PP the lower PP wins 1 in 5. Either way, these are good plays preflop. A bad beat is when someone is rewarded for a bad decision. For example, although the stakes wern't nearly as great I was 3 handed and played Q10 on my BB. I hit a 10 on the flop which gave me top pair. My opponent raised 1/3rd of my stack. I pushed all in. He called with 7 2spades with no pair and 1 spade on the board. I have a 96% chance of winning that hand. The turn and river are spades. That's a bad beat. The night before I was playing a tournament. There was raise and a reraise before the action came to me and my pocket Aces. Knowing I would get at least one of them call I pushed. They both called. One caller had AJ while the other had KQ. The AJ was short stacked so he was taking his chances. The KQ had me covered. With two raises and the third pushing you have to assume at best You're up against AK but most likey someone has AA, KK, or QQ. KQ calls me with a 15% chance of winning the hand preflop and flops a fucking straight. Horrible call bad beat. What makes a beat bad is the degree of idiocy that comes with the call. This is shit video in the first two examples.
best bad beat story... low stack went all in and me and my dad both called flop came, 6 6 Q my dad raises me a fair amount i call and a 9 comes on the turn i checked then he checked, my dad had me covered just bearly and another Q hits the river so my hand was pocket Qs i just hit 4 of a kind on the river and couldnt believe it so when my dad put me all in i call right away... he turns over pocket 6s and i just start laughing as i turn my cards over and show my higher 4 of a kinds... as you can imagine he wasnt pleased haha
Not shown in this clip, but Habb kind of did an angle shot too. Putin chips for a raise, then takes it back saying he meant to call though he was forced to keep the raise. Even the commenter mentioned it was kind of a dirty play. Raised from 50k to 112k.
Why was Phil's move such a brutal slow roll? There's two spades on the board, Ernest was obviously strong, and he was only in with maybe half of his stack
The first three are not really bad beats. IMO, an opponents 25% or greater chance to hit an out is not a bad beat. The last one though was probably the worst bad beat I have ever seen. My personal worst bad beat was I had JJ in the CO. Preflop others limp or fold to me and I raise 5bb. I get called by the player that is UTG. Everyone else folds. The flop comes J67 rainbow. The UTG player bets half pot. I raise to 20bb. UTG goes all in for another approximately 80bb. Since I have the best possible hand at this point, I call. UTG turns over 67o. So, the only way he can win is to get runner-runner 6s or 7s. Turn is a 7, river is a 7. That is a bad beat.
I get really pissed off when i have a bad beat. Especially when i play well and read what they have got, followed by them playing poorly and calling a large bet.
How does the Selbst hand qualify for a top 5 bad beat? It's a reasonable hand to start, and "happened" to be favored in a three way pot. He had a ton of outs after the flop and was still favored. Just because the turn didn't get him there - he had to know that if he saw two cards, he was probably a favorite. Going all in either wins him the hand outright, or gets him the final card for sure. Yes, technically it's a bit of a bad beat for Selbst, but certainly not worthy of making this list.
The first 3 weren't even close to that bad. An 11 outer and an under pair and ak vs kk. So basically all beats that we have all seen 1 of 5 or more times. Hellmuth lost with a 70 percent chance is not a bad beat either. Who made this list? Bousquet was the only beat that would even crush someone all the rest would just be sad but not worth caring about. Sure hellmuth losing 3 in a row is interesting but if you dealt that hand 100 times he would lose 15 anyway
From that spot in the big game, do you guys think phil slowrolled? I mean he waited 20 seconds tops before pushing in $100k, not much of a slowroll to me I guess...
♠️ Which bad beat is your favorite? ♠️
Zara(iii
Second video and last for sure hahaha
@Shawn Tristen Yup, been watching on instaflixxer for since december myself :)
dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer.
"Why is everyone so happy?! Except Phil."
Prolly my favorite poker quote ever.
The bike's coming 🚲
Phil: "What do you have, aces or kings?"
Everyone: "why did you slow roll him!"
Phil: "hey, I thought he had 10's full or something"
I scrolled down to look for this
Jokus Maximus BUT THE HAND
Negreanu can't hold a candle to Hellmuth
Watching Phil's reactions is really funny but he did let the guy run it 4 times, that was actually very cool of him and in true buddy fashion, everyone at the table rubbed it in and gave him shit.
@Jorge Herrera and I would play like Phil because I will think in worse case you will have 2 kings so win twice with 15 percent chance then even less if one king shows up.
@Mr. Mileena are you in his head? So numbers make way more sense cuz it’s concrete rather than make believe
@Jorge Herrera you are not in his head so you don't know... He could also lose with 15 percent, it's poker. Playing 4 times was a way for him to stay in the game for sure.
Busquet's
@CrysisOwnsHalo you’re right, will edit
@kh2freek You mean a pair of Aces on the board?
@El Patron There are a pair of Aces on the board. Busquet's hand plays as AAAKK, Aces full of Kings, beating the lower Kings full of Aces (was full of 8's until the river)
Will someone please tell me how that three of a kind won over the full house?
Seen that IRL. Day 2 mtt live. 2 bigstacks get it in OTF.
K82r flop.
KK vs AK.
Running A A. Live.
The Wiggins/Phil Hand is my favorite hand of TV poker ever. So funny XD
Strangely Phil didn't insult Wiggins like he does literally everyone except Phil Hellmuth
daniel: “why is everyone so happy except phil?!” 😂😂
“Why is everyone so happy except for Phil?” 😂
Classic OG dnegs reaction lolll
Seen it 4 times and im still laughing my ass off.
If Pokerstars wants to make a top 5 bad beats they could have saved time looking for these clips and just sat in on one of their online cash tables for 30 minutes.
@Arthur Schopenhauer liar,
@Traian Ionita so why are you losing?
@03056932R well said, only loser players with no skill think it's fixed.
Yes, pokerstars have an algorithm specifically for you to lose.
@eXampL omg the most unlucky guy in the poker world, stop crying and get better.
@GigaQuake LMFAO....HAHAH....
I FKING LOVE DANIEL HAHAHAHAHHA "Why is everybody so happy!? Except Phil." LOL 😂
@ssstuart0039 he is a crappy dude.
Swear I was gonna post the same comment 🤣 had me lmao
@DonnMorency425 watch the actual video it was pretty long
i like daniel but he also seems like a little weasel
Daniel was out of line saying it was a horrible slow role. It was just over 1 second and Daniel acted like that never happens. He is an ass.
The most hilarious thing about the last one is that everyone knows how to push Phil's buttons and they do so beautifully 😂
Will never, ever, ever get tired of watching Phil get beat like that. I laugh every time like it's the 1st time I've seen it.
Phil letting it run more than once is class honestly
the last one was the most hilarious, Negreanu hyping everyone up, Phil saying "yeah I really like it" and the jabs from Tony G. And of course an amateur (I'm guessing) beating him. Phil's worst nightmare
The look on Doyle's face 🤣 when everyone is laughing at Phil
Phil running that 4 times is easily one of the biggest mistakes of his career. 🤯
Daniel's laugh when the king hits on the final run gets me every time 😂
Statistically, the worst bad beat here is Busquet over Reichardt, as he had only four unique card combinations which could win (ace of clubs + ace of hearts, ace of clubs + ace of diamonds, ace of hearts + ace of diamonds, or 8 + 8), which means his odds were 1/248.

Are we forgetting that a royal flush is 1 in 20,000 fuck the 1 in 5000 odds
One thing that pushes those odds into deeper territory is the fact that there's a card burned before each turn, and another card burned before the river. Wiggins dodged having his outs burned between turns and rivers.
@jack lawrence I'm not really sure to be honest. His statement is in consideration of possible bad beats. Now i'm confused, haha, guess we take it as how we understand it to be fair, either pre or post flop. I'm not even sure why i'm here dicussing this.
pbwy.
iRonic CrucyFix yeah thats what im saying .. this guy is obviously talking after the flop
@jack lawrence its always fre-flop prospective since its statistics.
"If you're gonna win that's how you win."
"No, you stay at the table, and watch your fate. That's how you win." ;)
I like Tony G lol FYI I just started watching it today lol
Favorite part lol
@Dion Polfliet Its not the same thing, this was just a regular tournament, not the WSOP main event, and Moneymaker has been losing money consistently since 03´ when he won the main event, he´s not a pro, he´s a bad player who happened to luckbox his way into a big win, which has sustained him until now, and you can´t compare playing a big cup final to a poker tournament, there is tournaments every single day, cup finals is once maybe twice a year.
@glennhagstedt For him its like work, how many football players miss their daughters birthday just to play like in a cup final...
@User Are you kidding me? His daughter will never have a lets say 6th birthday again, and the moment your gambling addiction goes before your own daughter its time to stop and re-evaluate your priorities, this isnt even a debate, its just basic morals.
That final 6 in the first one was exactly spot on. Seriously the way guy was acting he deserved it...
Wow man that was hilarious. And Phil was being nice running it 4 times cause it seemed like his opponent was worried about the money.
fair play to phil. he was giving the loose cannon a chance to stay obviously very unlucky to lose 3 in a row. but he showed some class there running it 4 times
The Wiggins hand is by far the greatest 4 run ever love to see Phil take a hit like that
The SAME THING happened to me @7:16 only it was against 5s and not 8s. SAME. EXACT. THING. I gave up poker for 8 months after that bad beat.
Doyle Brunsons indifference the entire time was great 😂
Even Doyle was laughing his ass off over them making fun of Hellmuth hahahaha
I always feel bad for Phil on that one. He was trying to be nice to the loose cannon and got screwed, then got completely mocked for it
Negreno's laugh at 12:48 is so good
13:27..”WHY IS EVERYBODY SO HAPPY EXCEPT FOR PHILL”😂😂😂😂😂,,CLASSIC
Everytime i need a good laugh, i always come here to see Wiggins vs Hellmuth 😂
The look on Phil's face when that 8 of Spades hit, it was like he couldn't gat a breath, utter disbelief.
I'm actually on Phil's side for once lol and he let the guy run it 4 times even though he didn't feel like he slow rolled
13:00-13:07 is a pure moment.
I think Phil Helmuth is the unluckiest poker player ever. HAHA
Think about it tho. If he’s constantly getting bad beats that means he’s constantly in big pots in which he’s favored.
@ZombieNationLTD If he gave up Poker after the 12th bracelet, he would be one of the legend. However, he will be remembered as one of the biggest mouths now.
His 12 bracelets would beg to differ
He himself thought so, too.
That actually makes him the most skillful poker player ever as well . Imagine being the unluckiest and still being the player who has the most bracelets .
I absolutely loved that last video, it was so amazing! I enjoyed it a bit too much tbh haha
Let’s not forget about that one time a guy lost with quad 3s to someone with quad 8s. That’s a bad beat of a lifetime
This is inspiration to quit poker and to fix gambling problems.
I don't think Phil was slow rolling. He thought it was a genuine possibility that the Loose Cannon had tens. They should show pre-flop but they don't because it would show that Wiggins flatted against Helmuth's raise. That's why he did that bit of speech play before shoving. I'm pretty sure the others at the table just don't like Phil.
#3 wasn't a bad beat. The dude had 11 outs! Odds were heavily in his favor
"Phil has flopped the Hellmuth out of it"
I'm dying..😂
How did Selbst know Shak had 11 outs (as she told her friend off the table)? Wouldn’t she have to know what cards everyone else had?
Hellmuth's face after the spade🤣😂😂
I just don't understand why Phil would want to deal it four times in a situation where he is 85%vs15% ?
the first on this list always gets me laughing. phil hellmuth taking a bad beat is the funniest. He couldnt even spaz because he slow rolled a freaking amatuer player HHAHAHAHAHA
#1 just never stops being funny.
To be honest I don’t even feel like Phil slowrolled lol. I’ve had trips get demolished by running cards probably 60% of the time I’ve had them
That shit happens daily online. I'm not impressed. My 3bet A-A just got beaten by an A-5o on the SB... Flop A-5-8. Both all in. Runner runner 5-5. Lost 300 bucks there...
Hellmuth to Tony G: Show some class!!
Tony G: But... the hand?!! You're a professional. You're not meant to play like that!
Priceless!! :D
Lol...
Tony showed his respect to Phil already. Otherwise, he would say, "your career's finished, you're gone, gone, gone……" hahaha
Always funny Tony and phil H. :D
They’re both just awful, awful people.
@DoctorChained It's more about phil running it 4 times on that board
what's he got ? trips, nothing more.. facing set chance, and backdoor flushes and backsdoor straights.
He just shouldn't offer 100000 outs to the guy and complain afterwards.
13:48 Tony jumps in: Phil deserved that going in with (A) Ace (9) nine!! 😅😂😅😂😅
LMAO Hellmuth's face at 12:30 is amazing.
Hardly a slowroll when you know how much Phil himself can do with 40k behind
That last hand is a HOF hand, and something like that will likely never happen again. Unbelievable. 😂
Wow that last hand is incredible, i almost feel bad for Phil
The second one wasn't a slow roll it was his whole stack against big stack, he was thinking aces up. He didn't even take that long, you have to give home time to count blinds.
Kind of impressive that selbst knew that he had 11 outs off the dome like that 6:00
Wow, the 1st hand is legendary. Great banter and the poker brat gets rinsed.
The Hellmuth/Wiggins hand though...Wiggins odds to win the last three in a row after losing the first one was .001%.
People talk crap about Phil but he's the most entertaining and I good guy off the air. Plus he let the guy run it 4 times to give him some chance if staying alive. Good man
The Wiggins/Phil Hand is my favorite hand of TV poker ever. So funny XD
Watching Phil Helmuth lose is one of the most satisfying things to see in the world.
The last hand is so satisfying to watch😂😂😂
"Phil deserved that doing that with Ace Nine" ahahahahahahaha
I feel bad for Phil. I love seeing him lose lol
I just had the biggest bad beat sequence of my life and now I'm pissed to high heavens and just wanna see other people burn the same way I did.
best bad beat story... low stack went all in and me and my dad both called flop came, 6 6 Q my dad raises me a fair amount i call and a 9 comes on the turn i checked then he checked, my dad had me covered just bearly and another Q hits the river so my hand was pocket Qs i just hit 4 of a kind on the river and couldnt believe it so when my dad put me all in i call right away... he turns over pocket 6s and i just start laughing as i turn my cards over and show my higher 4 of a kinds... as you can imagine he wasnt pleased haha
"Why is everyone so happy...except phil??" Lmao daniel exploiting tilt perfectly
This happens to me all the time on online poker is the worst feeling lol
Honestly that was a great call by doug polk @ 5:10
I love how everyone loves when helmuth gets beat and they all celebrate lol. then Tony g rubs it in "the bike's coming"
Aces vs. Aces ending in a flush is still my favorite bad beat
Habb slowrolls, then gestures to God at 2:56. As if God wasn't gonna get him for that.
Not shown in this clip, but Habb kind of did an angle shot too. Putin chips for a raise, then takes it back saying he meant to call though he was forced to keep the raise. Even the commenter mentioned it was kind of a dirty play. Raised from 50k to 112k.
God was like... u think Im going to let u beat that smokeshow? Nah
@Keith Morgan But what if your opponent had pocket Aces.
@Christian Lionel NO ONE is ever folding pocket kings. EVER. They are literally the 2nd best pocket cards you can get. That's why it's a slow roll.
What happened? I was distracted by the attractive competitor.
The Jennifer Harmon 7 of diamonds beat from the WS should be in there💜
Why was Phil's move such a brutal slow roll?
There's two spades on the board, Ernest was obviously strong, and he was only in with maybe half of his stack
It wasn't really a slow roll. The other players really meant he was just wasting time, and they were probably trying to tilt him too
The first three are not really bad beats.
7:37 that's the face of pure pain
Hahaha. That is so funny 😂. Never act cocky on poker table.
Last clip had me in tears
Literally lossed to a one outer on the river. I held A6 diamond my opponent had two black 9 nines. Flop A 6 2d turn 7d river was 9h.
Busquet and Wiggins were the only ones who actually rekt...
I feel like I only ever see bad things happening to Selbst
I think 3 is not that much of a really bad beat. 11 outs is pretty much a good chance to survive if you not have the best hand when all in.
Helmuth actually had 94.5% to win while rolling 4 times, if I got rolling rules correctly.
I never feel bad for Phil, he is the saltiest player when he loses and is just flat rude whenever it happens
I get really pissed off when i have a bad beat. Especially when i play well and read what they have got, followed by them playing poorly and calling a large bet.
Should be a new rule for poker: ....You walk away from the table, you forfeit the hand.
How did Busquet win at 7:31 with a three of a kind vs a full house hand?
How does the Selbst hand qualify for a top 5 bad beat? It's a reasonable hand to start, and "happened" to be favored in a three way pot. He had a ton of outs after the flop and was still favored. Just because the turn didn't get him there - he had to know that if he saw two cards, he was probably a favorite. Going all in either wins him the hand outright, or gets him the final card for sure. Yes, technically it's a bit of a bad beat for Selbst, but certainly not worthy of making this list.
Just an awesome win and beating the creep makes it much better! LMAO
I love Phil Laak so much man! "I love you Ernest" lol the way he said it, was the absolute best
13:46 even Doyle Brunson's laughing...
"Why is everyone so happy except Phil?"
Isn't it always that way hahaha
here to feel better after a massive bad beat
13:28 Doyle: I am sorry, Phil, but, I just couldn't help laughing, hahahaha
The first 3 weren't even close to that bad. An 11 outer and an under pair and ak vs kk. So basically all beats that we have all seen 1 of 5 or more times. Hellmuth lost with a 70 percent chance is not a bad beat either. Who made this list? Bousquet was the only beat that would even crush someone all the rest would just be sad but not worth caring about. Sure hellmuth losing 3 in a row is interesting but if you dealt that hand 100 times he would lose 15 anyway
9:33 hellmuth: "I got three 9s." Loose Cannon: "you lyin' be kiddin' me."
"okay that's what I thoug...aww man"
Wiggins was so sassy
"You lygtta be kidding me"
LMAOOOOO
RUBYRUBYM lol
phil's face at 12:38 lol
I always love seeing Phil Hellmuth get beat
That last one was brilliant, I even liked Tony g in this, that was table of legends Daniel killed it
lol @ calling that a slow roll by Phil... he took it pretty well though
From that spot in the big game, do you guys think phil slowrolled? I mean he waited 20 seconds tops before pushing in $100k, not much of a slowroll to me I guess...
