Finally people who understand what we want from a stealth game
Been said since what? Unity?
@Vague Henri it’s a newer studio, this is their first try at an AC game.
@Tmac its fkn called Assassin's Creed
They all looked recycled assets fr Valhalla....
No
This is it. For me AC has always been about advanced stealth and fast parkour. Love to see it make a return to its roots.
Everything is good in the trailer.
not too big into the series, but this one has my attention. other games just seem like doing a bunch of chores, this seems to have some real spice to it
@Sinwitt I've only played the first but watched how the formula changed over time. This one reminds me of the first and that alone got me.
It's a glorified Valhalla dlc the parkour looks mid
kemist578 couldn’t agree more lol
I hope Ubisoft does a Behind the Scenes video like how they did with the first couple AC games. Show the development process, the design phases, planning, all that good stuff. Its so cool to see how the people that make these games work hard to make the final product
This game looks like a solid 6/10. So much copium from Assassin's creed fans who haven't played a real game before like the new zelda 😂😂😂😂
@SEVEN SAMURAI Sure have fun with your little kids game dude lmfao
@SEVEN SAMURAI Zelda was a good game but I don’t think fans of AC would like it😂
It’s actually beautiful they are putting in the best features of every game. Can’t wait to play the game, so far
You mean the same features from all their games, the Ubisoft Formula everyone 'enjoys' so much :)
All of this is literally in the very last game why ya fooling yourself?
Something i'd really love to see in the game is a speed increase as you build momentum during parkour. This would add an entirely new dynamic to ti.
That would make parkour so much more fun.
This the one right here
Omg thats a fantastic idea. Its kinda like bunny hopping in csgo ahaha
@Ali Hassan I mean, if that's the closest example you can think of...
@VolatileZer0 nah it just reminded me of how the momentum builds up as you move.
Didn’t think we’d ever get another AC game that is at least trying to be like the older games. Expectations are high with this one!
If it doesn’t let you control the character outside the animus, it’s not a real AC game
@Dr Garlic This game looks like a solid 6/10. So much copium from Assassin's creed fans who haven't played a real game before like the new zelda 😂😂😂😂
@SEVEN SAMURAI it’s just prince of Persia if you take out the modern day plot. Super goofy.
@SEVEN SAMURAI lmao hating for no reason other than being a annoying Zelda fan
The more they talk about this game, the more i wanna play it!😍
Preordered it Hahahaha
mirage = just a dlc for valhalla, decided to do a separate game = cashgrab
all these comments from the people in the video are not scripted, they're not talking like robots.. at all
all the animation is from valhalla
play valhalla
@Mrfailstandstil you can tell they are bots by the little checkmark they got simps
Watch Ubisoft still F this up
@cameron milligan They'll do like they did with Watch Dogs Legion
I really appreciate this creative shift from the team. Really gives me some hope for the series again.
The storytelling of old AC games is what you guys miss the most.
The story of the ISU, the EZIO timelines and in-present-day stories with gameplaying where are perfect mix.
You should have this back.
Well basim is the literal reincarnation of loki a member of ISU lmao
Odyssey and Valhalla is FILLED with ISU lore... Also in-present-day stories as well..
@Meteor Layla Hassan is super dry though. She lacks charm by a long mile and it's hard to give a damn about her goals considering you're the one achieving them.
Mind you, I've only played Origins, but in all the present-day sequences, she was the part I liked the least.
I'm all for the ISU lore - especially seeing as it's gone down a wild route, what's done is done - and the story outside the Animus, but I really hope the writing is better.
@VolatileZer0Basim is the new modern day protagonist
This is the passion I like to see in a dev team. This game will be fantastic.
I think (I hope) they know they pulled this game off. I think its gonna be a big hit
As someone who loved almost every main game up to Syndicate but fell out of love with Origins, I might buy an AC for the first time in over 5 years
This gives me heavy Prince of Persia vibes but in a good way! I also love the fact they are adding mechanics like poking through hay stacks and shooting down your tracking bird.
Stuff like that makes the player think and actually feel more immersed in the situation. Overall looks great and i’ll be keeping my eye out for this one. 🔥
funny enough , assassin's creed was originally a prince of persia game
@john curtin I remember thinking when AC1 was reavealed : "Prince of Persia sands of time meets GTA ... that looks awesome".
The thing about guards poking haystacks was already implemented throughout the Ezio trilogy, and possibly in the original AC as well. It's not new, but it seems to have been dropped somewhere along the way. Glad they're bringing it back, and I hope it factors into what they said about the AI being more aware.
@VolatileZer0 In the original AC game, you just climbed back out if you jumped into a haystack too early while being chased. Otherwise, the guards did not poke or prod the haystack until ACII.
I love the setting and the "Back to the roots" approach
This will be an amazing Assassin's Creed game!
The guy is predicting that the product will be amazing before it even launched lol
Calm down buddy let’s not get to ahead of ourselves..
Keep your expectation low dude.
could be, but they didnt show any proper gameplay so I am not conviced yet. I loved Ubisoft for years, but they did everything they could to spark hatred in me towards them so they really need to try if they want money from me ever again.
@SefinCZ exactly, I still don't trust anything yet. I'll see for what it is when it's out
Hearing ezio's theme not only makes me feel nostalgic but also hits me in the feels
Been waiting for an assassin's creed game just like that for a while now! Thank you for delivering what most AC fans wants :D
Amazing WORK and huge PROPS to the Development Team, you guys really delivered. I hope this Game becomes a huge success.
I finally this year played through Origins. Fell in love, and I am playing through Odyssey at the slowest pace, just enjoying it. This looks amazing, everything I love about playing the games being highlighted and improved upon.
I love how the developers present this as if they had some brilliant idea to go back to its roots as if fans haven’t been begging for this for years.
Yup, it's the only true way to go and they make a big deal out of it...
true but also better late than never i guess
I don't love how developers present this
Way to find a way of whining about getting what you want.
For me this is so crucial, as someone who started out with game one on day one I can say going back to those originals (1-black Flag) is the best way to remind themselves of why we all fell in love with this franchise. I am so excited to see the final product, my only addition is please please PLEASE test this thing like crazy, we dont want another Unity lol.
Yesss, more elements from the Ezio games. The movement takes me back, Assassin's Creed at it's best!
Looks absolutely awesome, can’t wait to play!
I hope you can mark enemies with a bird. That was something that I REALLY missed in Valhalla, and the main way I play stealth in Odyssey. I really wonder if the armor, fighting style (although obviously heavy on stealth), and controls will be more similar to Odyssey. Valhalla always felt like the character was slower and harder to navigate. The way of seeing the quests was much more clear though. It’s those little things that really affect the gameplay constantly that matter to me
this is giving me so much hope after the recent RPG games i have pretty much lost all interest in AC but this is looking like what i as an old school fan since the very first game really wanted. i really hope they pull this off because if they do it will be a day one buy for me
The devs seem like very passionate and dedicated artists, their enthusiasm is refreshing.
Especially from Ubisoft. That company hates innovation recently. Hope things change for the better when they see what happens when they allow developers to give gamers what they’ve be asking for and wanting like with this game
@Motorhead recently? more like since a decade ago.
@321XYZ543 no, it really is recently where they lost enthusiasm and care for games. I think it started since 2016, since then basically every game had to be a basic RPG with no originality. 10 years ago is when they had the most enthusiasm and personality. This looks refreshing for Ubi.
Yeah, it reminds me how passionate they were before first Watch Dogs :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
i mean this is all scripted lol.
I am playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood right now. I'm almost at the end. The trilogy is so good. I know the games after this are different but I'm still excited to play through the whole AC franchise. So excited to play mirage once it comes out.
Won’t lie, I really liked the direction they were in. It really suited how I enjoy playing this type of game. Stealth was still an option. But so was head shotting someone with a bow and arrow form long distances lol. Assassins creed black flag and odyssey were my favorites. About to play Valhalla and maybe I’ll see what people didn’t like when I play that one. Still super excited to play this one
These changes all look great, I've missed AC since Syndicate. I hope the modern day stuff is up to the classic standard as well. One of the core aspects of AC was in how the journey to the past only mattered in how it illuminated the present.
They have SO MUCH opportunity to blow out the past AC games with, please don't mess it up. This will literally make me so happy to play.
It's going to be great. Thanks for this Ubisoft
Not only do we want it to go back to its root. But gives a story that actually means something
Then you need poeple who really understand the culture, the islam and formost the historical context. But im afraid its just all very shallow.
Desmond has to return
@STAR☆CHASER Desmond died at the end of Ac3
Honestly the story is so convoluted now to actually have a good storyline they’d need to reboot the franchise.
@HankFromDaBank you should play Valhalla.
Awesome to see an AC game which remembers cities were the stars of the series. Levels designed for parkour and a focus on stealth over open combat.
I really enjoy seeing games being developed, it's cool to see that side of the game
You can count me in as someone who will definitely hop back into this franchise!
I personally love the dark gray-blue pallate ❤ also please show more about the parkour movements. As some vids by youtubers are disappointed by what was shown in the gameplay (even tho is was a "work in progress").. I am both anxious and excited about this game. Please be a good AC game than the last years. 🙏🏼
Finally you are starting to realise what actually made the players fall in love with the franchise. We didn’t come for the RPG but for the stealth. Don’t get me wrong, RPG elements are welcome, but they MUST remain elements.
I love the RPG titles, but going back to my roots is really intriguing me. hope it's great
Not everyone is crying about newer games, I loved the RPG trilogy as much as I loved Ezio trilogy, Valhalla, Origins and II are my favourite games from the franchise
@Domiiinik I know and I liked them too, I had a really great time playing origins and discovering the order’s birth. But the gameplay didn’t feel like Assassin’s Creed; more like Warrior’s Creed
@Domiiinik fr, people are really gatekeeping hard with what is actually deemed an Assassin's Creed game. God forbid the devs don't make the same exact game for every single installment, because change bad! Feel like these are the same people who cop FIFA or 2k every year
thing is that at some point people started to feel the franchise as a money-grab,bringing us the same game in different settings, hence why they decided to try something new and came up with RPGs
That is actually really refreshing and very nice to see 🙏 I can't wait to see what it's like when it releases
The last 3 games ive really enjoyed especially being able to openly fight everyone or do stealth if u choose this will be interesting for me as someone who gets bored sneaking around all the time looks good tho !
Thank you so much for this Ubisoft!!! This is exactly what I wanted from new AC games
I was thinking that parkour landings shouldn't not be the same animation, perhaps some landings can lead to break the momentum in some type of way. I desire to have different outcomes from every climbing to every landing. Perhaps a stamina bar or a skill branch that helps you be faster, precise and skilled. I also have the need to have a grappling hook or some type of tools specifically for climbing. Thanks ubisoft and to all the devs around the world. Mirage can be the next game that will mark a before and after.❤
I enjoyed Origins and Odyssey a lot, Valhalla wasn’t that appealing to me but out of love for the franchise I pushed through. I’m definitely excited to go back to the roots
Ik it's a small thing but the guards shooting the eagle is a cool feature in my opinion because it stops you from using the eagle constantly and makes you look out for guards as basim and keep you on your toes a bit more. Well I hope that's how that works
True assassins creed fans never used the eagle in the first place.
@Somber Chan gatekeeper, true Assassin's Creed fans just enjoy the games
@Somber Chan well no. I'm an AC fan who has played every game yet I've used the eagle in odyssey and origins so idk what you're on about mate
@Dyl Pickle true. Ezio trilogy and AC 3. U caught me there.
@Apxx_Prxdator_47 if you played Odyssey more then 2 hours then ur not a true fan. Ur a magical spear enjoyer. Whoops.
Finalmente os desenvolvedores parece que entenderam o que os fans querem
I feel this one is gonna redefine the height of success amongst the Open World Games and AC Series ♥ We want fluidity gameplay ad movement animations like Unity as well pls
Looks amazing, looking forward to buying it on release
This actually looks pretty good. I havent played an assassins creed game since unity but may have to get this one.
I appreciate that they're doing this alongside having another big open world AC game. I think they've become different enough at this point that there is room for both kinds of AC games.
As someone who grew up with Altair and Ezio, this hits right on the feels.
Even bigger will be the disappointment. I don't put much hope into Ubisoft anymore
I got the first one for Christmas the year it came out
I was the 13 or so
Great days and nights yes
I just hope it plays smooth like those games did back then on ps3. I by far missed assassins creed for the longest. I played n beat all of em besides Valhalla because that one had no feeling like an assassin just a damn warrior with Odin powers in the end like what 😂. But the parkour looks n seems stiff & wish they would use the parkour from unity. To me unity had the best parkour both climbing & climbing back down , was literally the best parkour I’ve felt on these games. Just felt more smooth imo. Just crazy how far AC has came. I hope they continue this route & make a wild storyline.
@Irgend ein Name facts lol. They don’t know how to make games
@Killerkurd46 they know how to make money
Felt like a lot of people ac needed a return to roots no more endless open world with tedious side missions and especially NO micro transactions! A single player experience that be grand and remembered 👍
Looks like I'll have to play the game twice just for experiencing both the colour palettes - one for nostalgia and another for the original intended story setting!
The music, the cinematography the history ❤❤❤❤
All inconsistent 😂🤦♂
Thank you ubisoft this is what we been missing 👏💯
Would love to see an Assassin's Creed remake using this engine and current mechanics.
Wow. Ubi's confident in showing the actual in game footage.
Definitely promising.
looks almost exactly like ac Valhalla in the Middle East so why would they be scared of showing in game footage?
@JKTheGreat Fact!
@JKTheGreat Look up The Division E3, Or the R6 Siege E3, or the Watch Dogs E3. Literally they always fake their gameplay
What the name of miLf red dress female dev? She looks so lonely.
They are desperate. Which means they will fail gloriously or innovate for the first time in years
First title in a long time that looks like a day 1 purchase for me. Love all the features promoted in this video. Never got into AC to go sailing...!
Yes! Thank you! I haven't been interested in an AC game in years, but I'm very excited for this one.
As someone who stopped playing the games after Black Flag, this looks like a return to form.
I’ve been a die hard fan of the series since one of the first games (Origins). I love the idea of exploring stealth, I just hope they don’t alienate too many true fans like me.
Huh? Origins isn’t one of the first games. Its one of the last. And the first one that turned ac into an rpg.
Esto sí que es un AC de verdad, por fin
My childhood was assassins creed. So many memories, especially now that im on s holiday in tuscany. This is the first AC im excited for since black flag. Super happy.
I think this game will bring me back to the franchise. Good call by ubisoft
Ezio is what I love about the series, excited to go back to similar gameplay and stories
I cant wait to have the same feeling like the first AC
Looking absolutely forward to this game !!!
We really appreciate y’all’s hard work and vision making this… finally they go back to their roots
It’s awesome to hear them discuss an assassins creed like it’s actually an assassins creed game again
yeah i remember reading the credits for OG assassins creeed titles, people working behind the titles. quite some passion behind it, some historical facts that gave us the feeling to belong to that timeline. AC2, brotherhood, revelations were games that i loved because of the historical research they've done for the game.
And not a Witcher 3 reskin, lol
@JCWitcher 3 stole the design from Assassin's Creed and Skyrim.
@Rover Gothic actually
This looks awesome, I just started Valhalla and am already 70 hours in and not even halfway through.
i've been waiting years for an AC game like this :)
Nice to see there is a studio in the whole world who listens and understands its audience. You just gave the people what they want!!! Amazing!!!
U are bot no doubt💯
I love assassins creed games and played them all. I wish you could actually build a base though where you could go if your free roaming. That would be great
J'ai hate qu'il sorte ce jeu. Ça va être une tuerie.
I was 15 when I played the first AC game. Next year I’ll be 30. Crazy to see how the series has grown with me.
Same here man. I remember talking about being hyped for assassins creed 2 in class in high school. Didn’t think 15 years later, it’d still be a mainstream game. I’ve had my up a and downs with the series, but it’s still amazing to see it evolve.
facts I was like 9 now i’m 20
Jesus Christ, literally same history here. *I still remember smuggling pirated/cracked versions of AC and AC2 in DVDs from my classmates in high school,* when I was 15, to install it on my Windows 7 machine Hahahahahahahah
Same
same! this is the first time ive been excited by an AC game in years, i didn’t bother with valhalla. if they bring back the old combat mechanics, i will cry. if they bring back the old story and finally give me some closure, i will ascend to the realm of the ancient civilization
Wow can’t wait, I’m happy they are gong back to the roots. I miss the old AC games and I’m happy they heard us
I have played assassins creed but I strated falling inlove with the game when origin, odyssey and valhalla started, I haven't finished a single old titles but the latter I spent hundreds of hours. I just hope It'll be as beautiful as Origins since they both have desert type terrain.
The reason I became a AC fan, finally it's coming back 🥺
Dude this is all the “BEST” moves from every assassins creed game put into one game, with the old traditional feel of the game
We haven't had an AC game that had an actual Assassin that focused on the gameplay of stealth and parkour since AC Unity, and that was almost 10 years ago. Glad were getting this version of AC back, to where it should be.
Its good to see directors honoring the past assassins creed. It makes my heart swell with joy.
It is interesting that they don't talk about combat. I sincerely hope they have also found inspiration there from the old counter/combo style, where it was more about flow and rythm, not about mashing down HP bars.
I prefer the RPG games but I grew up on the stealth games. Will definitely be kinda nice to go back to how it all started and be all stealthy and stuff. That said, I do prefer the more bombastic over-the-top RPG combat myself so I really am happy they've decided to also keep making those games. Now everyone gets what they want and we can all just stop fighting over preferences. Personally, I'm happy for all the stealth fans who have been begging for an oldschool experience with modern technology. It's been a long time. You guys deserve this one so enjoy. I know I will!
I love the desaturated filter idea, it used to be such a staple of the first AC game, it really makes you feel like you are in the middle ages and feels like you’re about to catch the plague just by looking at your screen lmao
that is essential to the aesthetic, the last ones seem way too colorful
Assassin's Creed: Mirage back to the roots ... welcome back home to the brotherhood.
Finally, I could back to the AC that I always loved, desired, and wanted, after a long departure from the series since the RPG trilogy that began in Egypt back in 2017.
I'm so excited for this one, and can't wait to play it.
Please Ubisoft deal with it with the extreme care and caution that it deserves.
Very skeptical but the fact that there are now snipers who can spot your bird companion and keep you from using it is a very very clever idea so I give props for that.
I cannot emphasize this enough… THIS is what made me fall in love with this series when playing the original game. The cities, the parkour, the climbing, the stealth, the atmosphere.
Thank you so much for going back to the roots. I haven’t felt this much excitement for an AC game in so long. This is a day 1 purchase for me.
emphasize*
@Jace Thanks haha.
agreed
It’s not a full return I hope I’m proven wrong but the more I see the less hype I get
A beautiful game, colorful desing and inmersive details. I really want to have it in my collection. Thanks team from Spain.
If during the first week the game lives up to what they say, I will buy it without waiting for discounts. A game like this is the direction in which we fans want AC to go. Assassin's Creed is first and foremost about assassins!
This game looks really awesome, can't wait for it to be released. But the ability of the rooftop guards can shoot down your special eagle so that you can't use it is really sad. Poor bird.
I have to say I love assassins creed odyssey and I’m liking Valhalla (although not as much as odyssey and I’m sorry I couldn’t get into origins. I like that one too just something didn’t click in it for me) but I’m happy to go back to the roots with modern gaming updates. Hope it’s good
For me it is one of the best companies, I am completely in love with several of its sagas. Really impressed with Valhalla and the improvement in various aspects such as animations, environmental, secondary, exploration, missions etc. The only flaw is the AI, although it can offer a difficult combat, its ability to manage alerts is too basic. I hope ubisoft really improves on this. Farcry is the worst with enemy AI.
This is the first time in a decade im actually hyped for an AC game. Take my money!
This is either going to revive my love for this franchise or put the final nail in the coffin.
Yes, very much so.
most likely the coffin. rpg + origin freerun = garbage.
@Zen Draw Literally my sentiments exactly. Why have they not refined Unity's parkour and keep the normal walking as you can see when Basim is walking he leans forward weirdly and clenches his fists for no reason like Eivor in Valhalla.
@Zen Draw if you don’t like the newer ACs you’re probably just bad at video games they’re super fun and my first ac was brotherhood. “Real AC” fans must like boring combat with the parry, then finish fighting style. Boring. If the new games are too hard for you just say that
@Salman Alikhan boring combat? Better than devil may cry wannabe combat
AI is what makes it for me. The enemies make the experience, the fear of being caught.
THANK YOU! It's about time for assassin's creed to be an actual strict stealth game now!
PLEASE DONT MAKE THIS GAME BAD, IT ACTUALLY LOOKS PROMISING
My hopes are super high that you do not disappoint this time. Just remember how fascinating AC2 was.
I'm not sure how well good old Assassin's Creed gameplay holds up nowadays, will be interesting to see
Brings a big smile on my face seeing them returning to the roots. I like the combat though, Basim fights pretty fast compared to the other assassin protagonists.
Because the game is advanced than the previous
@Matt Tan Not too advanced. Mechanics never change: You hide, u press X, u kill.
J'achète les gars direct merci de nous avoir rendu cette vibe
The perfect blend of AC1 and origins ..
I'm super excited for this! I'm kinda disappointed that this will be a shorter game as this is what I love about the old AC games. I absolutely love the rpg games too, but this is why I got into the series
I will not be convinced until the game is fully out but this does look promising
