I’d hate to play against Eric but I love watching him. Pure mindfuckery, no anxiety, talking himself into wins. Reminds me of the way Dennis Rodman hooped.
The kind of bloke I cross the road for....to avoid
@happytrailsgaming i
@nick rumley I'd read the dealer's lips.
@YTSparty yeah you would also be ignoring everything the dealer said too
If I were in a hand with Eric, I'd put on the ear plugs. And ignore anything he had to say.
Eric’s getting so much better at masking his motives. I love watching him.
@Kirk H yeah I haven't seen any other hands were he was bluffing actually so really idk
@Johnny twotimes it’s subtle. But the difference between him inducing a call and faking strength is hard to distinguish sometimes.
I thought it was somewhat obvious he wanted the call here, but that's easy to say when I can see the cards
This was pure gold. They should lay Erik to play on their stream. And he got him to make the call! Love it
The way he got Garret to choose the card he actually wanted him to see is absolutely sick. This is one of the best poker hands I’ve ever seen.
I've been watching poker for 20 years and that was one of the best hands I've ever seen. Garrett just melted.
Perrson is by far the most fun to watch.
Tony G !
Ya I kinda like him I feel like he’s mafia or something cause he owns casinos
The way EP arranged the cards face down so GA will pick the 7d was pure genius
We need more Persson
Eric hustling him out of 6k and then says "I'll sell you my time chip for 5k" 😆🤣
Ivey has killer vibes even when he smiles. What a GOAT. The best ever despite him not too into playing NLH nowadays.
Weird how he's annoyed but still smiling and gives him the fist pump. He's always fine losing when he's outplayed, hate how people are just hating on him now.
He's awesome. Haters are just fair weather fans.
That wasn’t a fist pump lol. He just tapped the table twice saying nice hand but tapped with a fist and camera angle blocked it out so it looked like a fist pump 😂
@TheJOshow601 you talk about Persson, but here is Garret meant
Anyone who dislikes this guy just hasn’t watched enough of him and are just going off their initial impression.
First time I saw him was vs Phil HU and I thought he was a total tool, but thankfully my opinion of him has since taken a 180. GREAT FOR THE GAME
I love watching Ryusuke just giggling to himself enjoying the show 😂😂 one of my favorite guys
Every stream he is Eric's stooge and he doesn't even know it.
Hustler should make a compilation on Perssons wednesday stream apearance, his table talk was on point and got him every bluff to go through and got him paid like in this hand and the 6 figures Ivey bluff.
It was awesome to watch he demolished the table... 🔥🔥🔥
Eric Is like the modern day hellmuth, you want him to fail for being so obnoxious but it captivating to watch
this guy has redeeming value - phil has none. At least this guy isnt a massive sook when he loses
Watching him do it to hellmuth is therapeutic
This is the beginning of a two day down swing that ended in gbaby throwing a huge tantrum. Persons is a legend
And yes I think Eric got him on tilt even Phil not saying hi lol
@Avery B. have you been living under a rock lol
For real? Wheres the video/time stamp of the tantrum? Usually Garrett is chill
Eric is everything that Jamie Gold tried to be but failed miserably.
I honestly can't believe how effective he is against even top pros.
Eric is a top pro.
Players like Eric who can be calm when they're bluffing or when they have the nuts is scary to play against. Hard to read them.
But most of the times you don't need to read them. It was an easy fold
It’s hard to read most people.
Golden poker. Eric is very good for the game. This era could be talked about for years to come
All the talking after Garrett’s check would make me feel he’s strong.
The look Eric gives at 6:51 is unbelievably great in a poker sense, its what sold Garrett to make this call.
wow great read... his facial expressions scream "oh god I hope this works"
I agree. The salesman sold everything in a look.
Phearson is always way more comfortable when he knows he's got the best hand. Of course he talks when he's bluffing but it's different. There's a different aura about him he's almost glowing.
Thats not how Persson is spelled by any means. He is swedish so why are you trying to make his lastname sound american? lol
His final comment got Garrett to call pretty quickly, that was "Can I increase this bet".
Meanwhile Robbi is elsewhere in the world calling down with Jack high
He EARNED that call!
I love the sport they're showing. Fun poker
Sport? Not a sport or even close to a sport. Hobby or Game, sure.
Love it, persson is so entertaining.
Dude might have the best table talk in poker right now
Amazing...Eric's good for the game
Giving a time chip for Garrett obviously means he wants to get called.
Wow! That word play by Eric was epic.
Eric Persson, the master of speech play
That "can I raise my bet" comment finally sold him.
Garrett put him on A7d
Its the fake angry look at 6:51 that does it, its a great glare by Eric that is making him look slighly angry and aggressive that Garrett see as someone who is weak.
Its right at the time he says your comment. its probably a a mix between both of them.
That was sick ! He had Garrett in the blender.
This might be my favorite poker hand ever
Yeah big fan of this guy. First time I saw him was vs Phil HU and I thought he was a tool, but that’s changed.
He’s obv rich AF. But it’s clear he plays for the sport and loves winning and hates losing.
After a significant sample, It’s also becoming clear his table talk skills are not a gimmick and his range is well balanced. GREAT FOR THE GAME
Both class acts. love it
He just handed that dude twice my rent to flip a card. 🤣
“it’s better to live like a man than die on your knees” ! good for the game lmaooooo
I absolutely love this hand. So sick 🤒
"Garretts like an ex-wife" lol this guys a legend
Anyone got a link to the full stream of this session. Or at least a condensed stream over a couple hours. Pleaseeeee :)
persson starting to jedi mind trick even Garrett haha, amazing
I am absolutely amazed that Garret didn’t immediately fold, I know this guys been good with speech play but legitimate everything he was saying in this one pointed to strength. Not to mention a lot of his bluffs beat him once he shows the 7
It's refreshing to see an entertainer. Reminds me of the good old days around 2006 when there were more characters at the table and funny chat. Kids nowadays are just boring stony-faced nerds with no social skills who waste TV time staring each other down every pot.
Hooray for Eric - Is Garrett gonna want his money back again??? He deserves everything!!!~!
@dageek1000 Are you 'Garretts Groupie'?
People having bad opinion on Garrett must be new to the show. Please Shut up and stop trolling
@Larry Wheels lol right
Only against women. He can't bully that dude.
@Zack Peck nope, Dnegs and plenty of others are not.
Garrett looks like such a kid in front of Eric, lol
This is the best poker video I'm seen so far .. but just start watching hing poke on Monday lmao
3:19 "Big set of balls... another way of saying the nuts" Bart for the win
MORE ERIC COMPILATIONS PLEASE
Garrett picking the 7d was great for Eric - it screams missed flash draw all over...
Best thing about this is EP did the same thing to Ivey later on for a huge pot. When he's running hot, look out. That table talk works.
Eric Persson: " I made the right bet, Roooski." LMAO 🤣🤣
Its fun watching him play when he's winning, but he is like a little kid when he loses. If he manages to learn how to stay in control when he loses, I might start watching him more
Have you ever watched him before? He’s always a class act when he loses fairly
Garrett paid more to call than it actually cost - LOL
Eric didnt seem to mins garett calling without a pair
the question is, when garrett saw the 7, what did he think the other card was to make the call??
Ace of diamonds if I had to guess, considering Eric raised it 18k pre flop. Garrett may have actually gotten away from it if he had chosen the other card.
Whoever thought that Robi will be the player to crush Garrett’s soul?? 😮😂
She's a double hero. First she pulls of a sick read, then she pays him back to soothe his wrecked ego. Gman will never hear the end of it. How on earth could a female know what a blocker is or what cards make a straight draw? Only a man could make such a difficult calculation so she obviously had a man with a man's brain signalling her somehow to make such a genius call that only a man could make.
nobody heard the “ i sell ya my time chips for 5000” 😂😂😂
Garrett’s not cornering Perrson in a dark hallway 😂
@castricv 😄👍
@Larry Wheels They want him to play because he was everyone's favorite player and they probably make a ton off of him. They were probably shocked that he said he thought something was up and they wanted to take the allegation seriously, as well, as they should.
@frxsumrith he can actually get the producer or floor man to call her off the table to go anywhere, is beyond me.
Does he have connections at hustler, or what? I heard the producer puller her off the table, and Eric was right there.
@castricv the G in Gman stands for something else...
Garrett picking the 7 was the worst card he could’ve saw lmao. Eric got lucky he didn’t flip over the 8
@Red 7 of diamonds means he could have flushes and also straights
@Red the thing was it was the 7 of Diamonds, so he could've been on a flush draw.
wait I thought seeing 7 would make him fold. Because he would think straight atleast vs 8 is nothing and could have called alot faster??????
Yep what bluffs can even contain 8s...89s? Lol much easier fold
Garret has been a fair player he is a good however he was such a poor loser yesterday he actually took the money back from a hand that at this stage rightfully lost fair and square
@Christopher Wood not how it works in poker. That applies only to the courtroom.
@Will i have I didn't Say it was unfair. I Say it is likely to be unfair.
@Will i have you can't call J high here. It doesn't make any sense. She can't even explain why she did it. It's very likely she knows J high was good somehow.
@Fan Fan can you then tell me what exactly did she do by calling his all in that made it unfair towards Garret??
@Christopher Wood you're right but that doesn't make it fair and square.
Hah! The Ace 7 of diamond is exactly something he would bluff with.
8:01 Eric trying to swallow that smile of his lol
“Big set of balls in other words the nuts”. Clever commentary
All he has to do is call and cry and demand his money back
Live tells were everywhere no idea how he can’t see the nuts in Eric’s words.
And a $6k bonus!! We just witnessed something special here!
When eric checked the turn, i think you can put him on a draw because someone with a marginal made hand wouldn't want a draw to come in for the other guy. Then when he raises large you pretty much assume he has 87, A3, or he's bluffing. But he would probably have fired on the turn if he was bluffing. Garret definitely realized this considering how good he is but he let eric get in his head. I'm not sure why seeing the other person's cards would ever be good for someone bluffing tho.
Someone please break this down: 3bet pot, LAG talkative and extremely goating oppo, a de-polarized river bet...and an incredible PAID exposed card. This is one hell of a situation, rare and unique to say the least.
Rare Gman getting owned moment, great hand~
New Hustler Casino poker policy: If Garrett loses a big pot, he can ask for his chips back
87 suited vs A7 suited.
Which is more likely for Perrson to raise pre with?
Hell you called it a 200 K pot, so we knew he had to call, LMAO
Garrets blocker shade hilarious
body language totally said i hit the straight lol i wish he didnt would've been even more hilarious acting like he did😭
If Eric didnt have it he should’ve demanded a refund for Garrett calling with Ace high.
garrett was literally sweating lol
Pure pain, He pay for 1 key card and still paid full value
Hated Eric until this video. I’m a changed man. “Can you beat 4’s?” Had me rolling
If you want to admire the way someone handles themselves at the poker table, there is no greater class act than Phil Ivey. He doesn’t lie to people or act like a jerk. I can help but feel that poker would not have 90% of the people loving this game if there was a lot of people like Eric. In fact all of the people who are deceitful like Jamie Gold , Will Kassouf, and others are hated. Players just want a fair game and not be lied to.
"diamond over diamond" masterful comment slid in at the perfect time right before Garrett calls. Eric implying directly he has J7dd Q7dd. Think it sunk the hook
so many extremely creative comments i'm dying of laughter. no really, I have to take a deep breath or else I'll fall over. so funny and imaginative
Haters gona hate.
Garrett has to take control of the situation and not let Eric control it.
That was just brutal.
"better to live like a man then die on your knees" lolol ill hafta use that
Did yall see how Eric made fun of the way Garrett speaks.
Savage
By far my new favorite player
Garren get that money back u trippin
Easy call to make when you can just ask for the money back after the hand, no idea why Gman was tanking so long
Right this is 2 times garret has made big bets with complete air. Complete stupidity in my eyes.....
He should have immediately let him pick the card.
Most entertaining player of all time nearly
if gareth picked 8 he could actually call it
Phil Ivey clearly not wanting to be there lol
@Shaun Soder 7:52 it's supposed to be Ivey week
Why was he there then?
Ivey was there
This hand is why Garrett was tilted going into last night. (last night being the night with the Robbi hand)
@Shallow Hal what have women got to do with this? Can’t you stick to the subject?
@Tom Shaw yeah but a little less obvious than the fact that you don't understand women - stay thristy my friend.
@Shallow Hal it’s so obviously that you don’t understand poker
You're so right ... Robbi needled him in a similar way to Eric. Robbi isn't brilliant on the math but she really watches people with a high degree of skill.
I cannot believe he called 😂
Garret's evil stare is so strong it will make you give him all your winnings.
Stop
Guilty until proven innocent
Okay J4o
Garrett picking the 7d was a disaster... He half-unintentionally lulled Garrett into convincing himself that Eric had something like A7dd after seeing that card
What is Eric always drinking? I'm gonna guess Diet Dr Pepper.
And, he brings multiple clothes outfits to make it thru the session. Some times he's a scuba seal, some times a hitman, some times a bar bouncer. You just never know.
eric the legend lol
