It's not what he wants. He could have been a star, but he always refused to take a long term role that could propel him global. He prefers little independant stuff, and had always make clear he doesn't want fame. He lives in rural England in a simple house with his wife and children. He probably accepted the role of Viserys only because he knew the character would die in the season.

If I’m not wrong their mother, shortly after birthing each of them, took them out flying on her dragon as babies which I think is badass and poetic

As an American, I’ve never seen anyone go for the combo peanut butter jelly jar. You always have to keep them separate!
Same. I'm an American and peanut butter and jam is probably my #1 fave sandwich I had never been inclined to buy the goober stuff. Absolutely gross. Just good peanut butter and jam bought separately and put together is way better.

I love this, and I cannot get enough of their accents with the "no, ta" and "innit", "cheers love" - so great! I'm also pleased that Paddy is getting more recognition like I've seen a few more comment on. He's been around for so long and done good things, but it took HotD to make people see him! I love how funny they both seem

Its not their accent but the dialect. They are Englishman from England.. and they speak in the "original" English dialect.

It's funny, Matt kind of picks up the accents of those around him. He was especially "slangy" in this interview compared to the other interviews I've seen him in over the years. I can tell it was being around Paddy.

@dewchamp Paddy's accent is a mix of Derby and Stoke. Matt doesn't sound like he's from Northampton. He sounds more southern than that. Northampton sounds a bit like Coventry, which is quite guttural.
Basically in the Midlands you've got: Black Country (West) (Brum on steroids), Derby (North) (eh up me duck), and Coventry (South) (every other syllable is a glottal stop), and Stoke (North West) (sound like a Scouser who got lost in the Midlands).
East Midlands is a bit more homogenous. To an outsider you'd have difficulty distinguishing the difference between Leicester, Coventry, Peterborough, Northampton.
South Midlands is slightly less homogenous.
West and North Midlands are much more distinct sounding.
I'm not an expert but it's basically about the type of industry each area had. If you had a lot of low skill factories your accent became more homogenous and if you had high skill factories your accents remained more distinct.
I'm Leicester (East Midlands) and i've noticed that the older generation are much more distinct than the younger ones. If i'm listening to older people I can tell where they're from to an accuracy of about 10 miles. For the younger generations I can tell the difference between North Leicester and South Leicester but that's about it.

Paddy Considine deserves an Emmy for his performance. His work in episode 8 is the single greatest acting performance from either GoT or HotD. I think he'll be for sure nominated, but he deserves to win. Though it'll be hard to win Best Actor in a Drama Series as long as Jeremy Strong is absolutely crushing it in Succession.

American here, that jelly and peanut butter combo and a jar called goober is not something Americans normally eat. It's very hard to find that item on a shelf even in the biggest stores and in the stores that you can find them in, there's only one little area for them on a shelf and they're usually covered in dust.

Glad someone agrees with me that Hershey's tastes like sick, I started to think it was some kind of broken gene in my family that we think so 😂 my cousin brought me back one as a joke and I didn't believe her that it was that bad. Literally gagged when I tried it
The reason it tastes like that is because in the formula, they use steamed/heated milk. That's why it can taste like a little sour/sick. Basically it's because you're tasting the milk having gone off, which is a part of their normal process.
