Nice
hi
Can you please tell us in a next video how u lost your finger or where you born without?
@Lex Wijnands I think she’s said in her make a new finger vid that she lost it to a sawing accident
Hey Martina, are you a "Weirdo or Warrior?" (An Aurora fan that is)
your creativity knows no bounds! this wizard study is magical 🔮
thank you Clip-Share!! let us know if you need to spice up Clip-Share HQ 👀😏
@Nerdforge Clip-Share of the shire ! That could work
Wowsies
@NerdforgeI kinda want milk rn 😂
@TheBlakus420huh
Me thinking how long it would take to build everything with proper materials, meanwhile martina: FOAM.
Easy when other people pay for it, and you have a set designer friend..... 🙄
@Chris M jealous much? 🤣
Do you think it would take less time with real materials or more time? With unlimited resources, I think it would take less time to deal with real material, but I'm not sure.
I wish i had the tools, knowledge and time to do all these project you do, they're AWSOME!
Warning: That room is now incredibly flammable. Please take precautions.
It LOOKS good, but doesn't it also feel like just a lot of foam and fake? it's more expensive but much more worth it to do all this with real wood; and eventually use real books... Because at the end of the day, you can get closeup to it and feel it, and it feels much more real with wood. I wouldn't be satisfied with it feeling so light and foamy and you basically can't interact with it much and up close in person the books look fake and it all feels so fake like a prop. It's not a study room if you can't really use it, it's just eye candy. basically traded a bunch of usable wall space before for unusable wall space. it looks kewler, but at the end it lost it's point; it's just a waste of 50% of a whole room in your house, because you can only look at it, the drawers don't work, and everything feels fake and flimsy. You have to feel like you're walking on eggshells in that room because you can easily mess up one of the painted foam pieces.
@Anonythen make a better one yourself
@Anonyyou answered it yourself. It’s more expansive. The purpose of this project is just to bring out the creativity, it’s not supposed to be usable since it’s a witch study room. This is more like a cool background to have in her videos. I agree it probably feels weird expecting to touch heavy wood but felt light foam instead, tho it’s not like it’s bad. The result turned out amazing and it does not lose it’s point bc the whole point of it is that it’s not supposed to be useable.
@Anony why are you copy and pasting to every comment??
@Anony It's a recording/ work studio, it's essentially a movie set, why would she want to interact with it XD
One of those little fake leaf vines going up the banister and a couple other little fake plants on the shelves would really make the greenery "outside" pop.
Incredible project!
Now I wanna do this so badly lol
i thought it'd be cool if you put actual books inside of the fake props so when you open them there would be something to read. you guys are so creative and this was so much fun to watch!
I SEE WHERE THIS IS HEADING… 5 years from now Martina and Hansi begin building a real-life castle to live in!!!! Wouldn’t that be magical?!?
The wizard tower was actually an architectural model not just an art project.
Shadiversity collab?!
@LordZoltan God no, I hope not. His brother, though. That'd be great.
martina will read this comment!! poor martina will have to steal from neighbours lots of pebbles
@arch1poor martina’s neighbours, there gonna run out of the pebbles
21:33 I’m glad she said it. It looks so good it leaves me disappointed that it’s just a prop room and not a real reading room in my own house. Looks amazing.
Martina is just collecting an entire party of different craft classes at this point, and I'm loving it. XD It looked so good!
I completely agree with that you said ahout IKEA. It's always been my dream to have a beautiful old worldy, wizardy style room to house my collections of old books and trinkets and IKEA doesn't do justice to my desire to showcase what I have in a more Louis Treize style/ wizard way. You've given me hope that I can attempt to custom my room further. I really love and appreciate everything you do and you will always be my role model in creativity. Thank you so much for this video and all of your videos.
I was watching the painting stage , thinking' How the heck are they gonna pull this off'? Man, consider me a convert. The end result is absolutely stunning. Well done, kids! Now come to my house and transform my room.
I love them. They are a good definition of trust the process lol
The fact you put a lot of your patreon supporters on the books is absolutely nifty and wonderful. Now you are surrounded by your supporters and if that isn't wholesome I don't know what is.
Every simps dream
@Alfredo's forehead transition ain't working well ? Need to lash out on ppl?
@⬡ ɒυϞǝʆ •x͓̽• ʇʜɔミϞʞ̣ɹミʇʇnɈ ⬡you projecting? He’s making a simple joke 💀
@Cheddar Sun Chips Y e s Im asking
And because simps is an insult, I wondered if they would enjoy being insulted as well.
They didn't needed you to insult the original commentator, so if they have something to answer, they are able to do so.
Wait, you actually built all that? Just stumbled upon your channel today, and while watching another one of your videos, I immediately thought that must be green screen, and gave it no further thought. Then I watched another one of your videos and noticed that the background looked more convincing than mere green screen trickery,, so I started digging a bit deeper and found this video where you actually built the whole thing. Amazing!
That fake wood looks more like wood than some real wood I’ve seen. In other words, this room looks amazing!
Your dog walking up and down the stairs is just wonderful
I love how the paint turns the foam from meh to magical when the wash goes on & the dry brush tips it over the edge 🧡
I always love her attitude towards everything , she’s like a kid on Christmas morning , then burns out falling asleep afterwards so to speak .
I'm a book nerd and went through the titles frame by frame. 😅 My favorite ones were The Snobbit by Jolkien Rolkien Rolkien Tolkien and Defence Against the Dark Farts by Mad-Eye Booty. Legitimately laughed out loud for a long time-and it kinda made me want goat milk. Weird. Great job on this set, everyone!
Mmm… goat milk sounds good rn!
There are some really brillant ones in there! Writing Characters as Described in the Painting by Jazz Man is a fabolous Clip-Share reference :D
Tablesaw 101 with blood spatters on the cover made me chuckle as well and I thought was a great way of self humor...
and richard astley HAHAHA
@Dirk Mervis yea I appreciated that too
This is so beautiful and you’re all so talented but the whole time I couldn’t stop thinking how flammable that room will be😅
Wow this is absolutely stunning and magical!!! 🙌🎨🦉 It's so heartwarming to see the names of the Patreon supporters! It's like they are there with you in your studio. 💜✨
Martina: “This part should be easy!”
*Five hours later*
Seriously, this looks awesome! You really have some fantastic visions!
This is STUNNING. I've done wood foam before making theatre sets, but nothing this amazing! Well done.
I cant make open sauce but I was looking up all the creators I hadnt heard of before. So glad to find your channel there; so many awesome videos to watch. Great work!
Any other interior design Clip-Share channel would’ve split this into a 3 part series. It’s so gratifying as a viewer to be able to watch it all in one video. Thank you!!
Three ? That’s optimistic
If this was a 10 part series I still would've loved every second of it, I kinda wanted it to be more stretched out haha
I actually don't mind those x-part series, as long as they're each done well.
Yeah probably because they actually build usable furniture 💀 not out of styrofoam
@notme how tf are you gonna use a wall
I would love to see more on how that 3D window background works and how it was setup. It's amazing.
It’s gorgeous! As somebody who loves Harry Potter and is cottage core,I wish I could live there! This is so detailed.I couldn’t believe this was made out of foam.
This is beautiful. I want to turn my room into a Wizard's Study. I can't wait to see you guys build your own castle.
Eyyyyy it’s finished! It was so awesome seeing this being put together piece by piece, turned out AMAZING! Shout out to Aaron!
Thanks for the awesome Unreal scene and the help setting it up!! 😄
Haha thanks William! It was great to work with you again!
And if you ever need your studio filled with foam dust I’m more than happy to help!
u guys are the most talented people ever. nice work and great collaboration. highly talented people 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
you have an awesome last name 😂
You are amazing ! This was incredible to watch , you are all so talented !👏👏👏Very cool result!
Just discovered your channel and this hit me hard.
Changed my field from fashion photography to game design and started learning from William and his immense amount of knowledge here on YT. My end goal is creating an AR-VR Amusement Park with environments both physical and virtual that interconnects people around the world. My life's motto is 'Inspire Inspiration' and seeing a tiny portion of that dream come to life through your video has remotivated me to keep going. Thank you to everyone for their truly inspiring work!
The amount of work you put into this is amazing, definitely watching more of these videos in the future
The set itself is already magical but the whole unreal engine vr stuff behind the window is truly next level
As a year 3 stagecraft student in my highschool, this is super inspiring! I will definitely use techniques I learned from this video!
Please tell me it’s not just me that wants a series dedicated to Martina and Hanzi buying a castle and turning it into their dream home?
And let’s be honest, if anybody deserves a castle, it’s you two! 😊
OMG this is so amazing. It must be wonderful to have a team of friends who share your vision! You guys rock!!!
Honestly, thanks for showing me Witchsong Mini's. They're great and I've made some of their stuff already. It's SUPER high quality and really detailed, and I love them!
So thank you!
OMG! I love this. Wish I could do something similar with my artcorner/studio. So beautiful! ❤
this was a super ambitious art project and you guys pulled it off perfectly WOW 9 I've done faux finishing for 30 years but never set design, this looks so fun
I love how she made a book named "table saws" with blood on it, she basically made her injury into a joke
It’s a coping mechanism for a lot of disabled people. I’m in a wheelchair and refer to myself as crippletron.
@Freedom Anderson Thats the most epic name ive ever heard. Keep being awesome on wheels crippletron!
@Freedom Anderson She seems really fine with her disability so I don't think she's still coping.
@Jason Nelson - I’ve been paralyzed my entire life and still make jokes about it at 27. There is no limit to our jokes.
I wrecked my leg good and proper some 9 years ago and it didn't heal right, so I'm bound to a brace for the rest of my life as my joint will never be strong enough to bear my weight again. To this day I still crack jokes about it and am debating making my brace several "skins" to make it look steampunk, or cyberpunk, or even straight up mecha. If I'm stuck with it for the rest of my days I'm damn well gonna make it look cool!
this is so incredible oh my god...... imagine the amount of diff rooms everyone could create if this was a more normal thing :'o
I know your capabilities, how much you've honed your skills over the years, your impressive imagination and whatnot and yet I am still just so caught off guard by how insanely awesome your projects turn out every time.
I would give this 1000 thumbs up 👍🏻 if I could! It’s so wonderful. I want this in my basement!
WOW! The mage's study is amazing. Great job! 😊
You guys definitely have a knack for such kind of works: so simple, fragile and quick, still so effective, logical, harmonious and overall impacting. I deeply respect your creativity, drive and goal oriented approach; quite an inspiration for an overthinker person such as myself. Bravo!
Martina really looked at all the miniatures she's made and said "Yeah but how can I live in there?"
But it seems like just a couple
Months ago she did the “new” studio, with all the little
Scrolls and stuff. And I thought *that* was magical!
At the end, when she said now she wants her house to look like that, I thought just use all the stuff she took out of there.
But of course she won’t.
@Hope Gold what do you mean?
She's already tested moving into a model with the digital version of her castle. I suppose this was a natural step.
Holy Lutefisk! Great work! One small tip that coud help stuff go a bit faster. When you're carving the wood and stone, if you want to "grow" the cracks, just carve and then use a heat gun on it's lowest settings OR a hair dryer. It'll "open" the cracks a bit easier. Do it outside though and be careful NOT to get the heat source too close. It'll catch the foam on fire and releases some nasty fumes...but if your careful, you can save a lot of time AND make it look pretty amaze-balls. Nice work!
It's sooo beautiful!!! 😭 I have been wanting to make my own wizards study/game room but have been stuck on how to do a few things. Now I have some fresh ideas! Thank you for sharing.
Amazing work as always. Very impressive. I love that you have supporters on the books!
wow, such a beautiful room. Wish i could do something similar. I absolutely LOVE the window and screen, what a brilliant idea.
You guys did an absolutely amazing job. You are also talented. I can't wait to see what you doing the future. Lots of love to you all❤❤
I love how you went from making miniature foam castles, to larger foam castles, to an entire foam room
That is so cool! I can just imagine that room being used for a role play campaign - or a fantasy film! Love the details and textures, so good! The “bronze” bust is perfect.
So freaking cool. I’ve always wanted my game room to be something like this or like a room from hogwarts
This is incredible...... I love it. You truly are an incredibly creative artist.
1. Assuming you relocated your workshop tools to the other side behind the camera or something.
2. I would've liked to see the bench drawers and such be functional.
3. Are you using the dead space behind the prop display for storage?
4. As much as the dog seems to like the stairs, you should make a bed space up there for him.
The remodeling of the room is absolutely amazing...the VR window and the fireplace are absolutely "PERFECT", and I really like the bookcase and the whole medieval atmosphere. 🤩😲
I have never been introduced to a cooler youtube channel that this, I love my aunt and I am so glad she showed me what you guys do a few years ago. You guys are amazing, holy crap
Respect to your fantastic Aunty.
What a perfect channel to share with your niece for inspiration.
I hope you have a great weekend
Amazing!
Your aunt is awesome.
You guys are so amazing. So creative its magical ❤
So incredibly awesome. Just curious, I know you do metal work and casting, but to you do any lapidary work, intarsia, cabochons, facets...
I know how insanely talented you are... I can't help but wonder what you might do with gemstones or maybe beads as your medium.
I've seen seed beaded gourds and bowls and plates... and an amazing one with safari animals beaded all over. Some people make beaded items that are azingly detailed and intricate.... not just simple geometric patterns or color blocks.
I love seeing Nori. Just adorable. 😊
Encore une belle réussite. Gageons qu'il y en aura bien d'autres.
Haven't even finished watching the video yet, but seeing how Nori loved the stairs, what if a dog bed/chill area was made at the top of the stairs?
I love watching your videos cuz you do amazing work. Also you've got these banger tunes playing during the montages.
I love the fact that Martina has Rickrolled us all in a literary sense! 🤣 loving the build too! 🪄🧙🏻♂️
We know she's never gonna let us down.
@Gus Sterneman Look closely at the book titles... ; )
im so glad im not the only one who saw that
@Sky Lawrence i just wasnt sure if that counts xD
Timestamp?
This looks incredible! It's insane what you can do with foam and paint, it looks really authentic.
I am so blown away! You are all always putting out amazing works! Wish I could have a wizard study haha.
This is so BEAUTIFUL! I don't know how many times I've been impressed in these 20 minutes, but it was a lot, and kind of much more than in other videos of yours (which are also very impressing, this is just ... super mega hyper impressing). I want this too. Now.
You make me want to build a fake room in my apartment to decorate like this!
Looks like the set from a legitimate Film! I'd want my house to look like that but put a "clear" ceiling in that has simulated planets and a swirling galaxy (basically how you made the window but it's above you with the motion tracking too) that would actually be cool if you added that to this room or something :3
Points to Hanzi for coming up with the absolute perfect "That's what she said" retort!
That joke is so old and needs to die already.
@Linda Does Stuff many jokes are old but still people loves them so no, luckily it won't die just because you want to
The office vibes
My mom and I were howling with laughter when he did that. It was so out if pocket from what we've seen of him so far. 😂
Looks absolutely amazing. Would love for a room like that at my home. But for one main reason. While all the small details are awesome to look at, they are a very annoying to dust :-)
It would have been soo cool if the shelfs were all secret doors that hidden the crafting tools, keeping the room as a "craft room" but that looked like a wizard room
This is absolutely magnificent!! I can’t put into words how much I love this
That's absolutely epic. Love how all the books came together so well! And the staircase! And the window! And the outdoor scene! And i've totally bookmarked to go to that antique market :D. Well done, guys.
Congratulations for your final result🎉🎉😊. I think that if you want you could recover a part of the inversion if you use that room as a libary or as a place to sell something related to that context or just use it to promote your ability of improving a room.
Martina and Hansi turned their studio into a life-size diorama project
That looks so amazing. That window is also really cool especially how it can move to show different parts of an image based on where you put a sensor so it’s like you’re moving to allow to see more of the edge like an actual window. I can imagine doing some really fun stuff with that combined with a couple trackers and modes for them as well as a timer or something to sync it to actual time of day so the sun moves in the virtual world in line with the real sun
As if this alone wasn't cool enough already, you also immortalised Terry Pratchett as an easter egg in there! You guys have no idea how much I love everything about this🥺❤️
This is absolutely amazing. I wish I had a room like this. You are so talented and I could only wish to be as good as you guys
I really love how it turned out it gives you that mage room vibe. also saw a lot of people drawing their own fantasy maps and was wondering if you could also hop on the trend.I'd really love to see it❤❤
The things she does for us, IS AMAZING 🎉
I remember when Hansi was nervous to paint and now here he is teaching us how to do it!! This is such an incredible space! Well done to you and your helpers 👏👏👏
Your videos are never a disappointment! So creative.
You have outdone yourself! Gee…it looks so perfect. What a talent!
I love it!!! I wonder if I could make my bedroom look like this?🤔 thank you for sharing. 💕🥰💕
Your videos are so wonderful to me! thank you for making content, you really inspire me!
AMAZING! I especially love the screen window.... good way to add light and nature into a room that either is in a basement or doesn't have enough windows lol, also side note: I noticed at least some of the shelves are too shallow for real books? Was kind of hoping they would function as real bookshelves aswell... maybe someday filling them up with real books (my dad used to have like 50 some actual books). Regardless the end result is absolutely gorgeous!
There's a reality TV show about home makeovers, and in them, sometimes they'd do the kids rooms. Being kids, they had excellent taste, asking for things like racecar beds and princess towers. As a child I always wanted to be on that show, so I could request a wizard room. This is that dream realised.
what was it called
I think I know what are you talking about but unfortunately, I don't remember 🙁
@mikael dani Extreme Makeover?
@nnnnnnnnnn56 I believe so
Lol... you mean this is that dream realized for someone else!
I never would have though about making shelves out of foam board, simply amazing job all around guys!
Your videos are only becoming more inventive, creative, and magical with each project. I think I speak for all your viewers when I say that this video is a masterpice, and the final result is looks AMAZING. Keep up the good work!!!
Imagine getting a room like this for your DnD sessions!! This is the coolest thing ever, I'd probably never leave and starve there but it would be the most epic death ever xDD
I love your guys' channel so much you have inspired me so much and I fear for my partner whenever we're able to afford our own house, no room, appliance, or anything will be safe.
This is absolutely breathtaking!! Great job!
This episode has everything! Arts, crafts, adorable dog, home decorating, epic quests, treasure, painting, high-tech computer graphics, more cute doggo, 3d printing, and the list goes on!
Congratulations to the team on making the single most Nerdforge episode of Nerdforge possible! I have no idea how you might outdo this one, but I'm looking forward to whatever comes next.
this is what it looks like to live in a miniature house...so good! i want one for myself
This is amazing. Once again! I love to see your ideas and how you put all your energy in there and than the result always looks incredible. It looks really beautiful.
It makes me wanna do the same things, but first I feel like I want goat milk...
It’s so beautiful, az only sad thing is that it really is a set, I just made a Trojan horse prop with similar technique and it looks super realistic until something happens, like it gets stranded and the light colored XPS shows underneath, but if you don’t intend to use than it’s gonna look amazing for long enough 😍😍😍
An idea is to make the "window" dual-purpose as a clock. The iconic clock probably feels out of place in this fantasy realm so it will probably need a substitute.
SO much joy! Revitalized my soul your channel has!
I can't even put together a kinder egg toy without staring at the "instructions" for like an hour 😅
I feel this in my soul
How do u take an hour for something that fits in something the size of a frickin egg ❓😂😅
@drownedbaconboii28 don't mean to brag or anything but... it's a talent 💅🤣
@colinsouthern you definitely ended up on top in that situation. The instructions weren't good enough to fit your raw talent, and you exceeded expectations. I applaud you 👏
@Marian I humbly welcome you to the club with open arms
Wow, this is so creative! This video introduced me to your channel and I am DEFINETELY following now. This has even inspired me to do a similar redecorating of MY room. May I ask what kind of foam you used for building the wooden beams? My project includes similar structures.
It looks amazing!!!! Great job guys!
So glad you included Richard P. Astley! My favorite author! People have told me I watch too much of your channel, but I'm never gonna give you up.
