Your thumbnail doesn’t match the title very well. I believe using the village or the desert well would be more intriguing. Changing the diamond pyramid to gold didn’t do much to increase the eye appeal in my opinion. In your current thumbnail, the village is present but too far away to catch a new viewer’s attention. I would suggest doing a comparison of some sorts, with the old version on one side with “BEFORE” in text above it then on the other side put “AFTER” above or below (whichever looks better) the new version. You could also just use a big red arrow to represent the transition between old and new.
