#Mandalorian #D23 #eastereggs
I am so pumped about this season. It’s incredible how this show has grown from a space gunslinger hunting on the outer rim, into an epic father / son story about the redemption of a planet. We’re going to explain everything in this trailer, just in case you;tr not up with clone wars rebels, and the comics.
Doug: So let’s go!
[play clip, armorer, remove your helmet] So when we met the mandalorians in the Clone wars series, most of them didn’t even wear armor. These are the peaceful mandalorians who lived on the main planet. They are more warlike mandalorians who still wore their ancestral armor, who were exiled to the moon concordia, after trying to take over the planet.
Doug: Like the Moonies and the landfallians!
Deep cut, man, right on.
Doug undone 1 here
So there have always been these decisions within mandalorian culture-the planet has been fighting a civil war, on or off, for centuries.
This is why this one particular group of mandalorians bows to never remove their helmets, and why later Bo Katan says they are a cult. My guess is that this is a very ancient warrior religion, and that mandlorians would have obeyed this law thousands of years ago [ep 1, weapons are my religion]
I kind of thought that after season 2, Din might abandon this religion and find a new way. Instead, it looks like he’s doubling down-as we saw in the book of Boba fett [you are no longer mandalorian]
Now that episode of Boba Fett also gave hima new quest to redeem himself [bathe in waters]. And mandalore-as we see later in the trailer-has been completely destroyed. The empire conquered the planet, strip-mined it for beskar, then destroyed everything when they left. [season 2, that world is cursed]
It is interesting that Din says that mandalore is cursed. Because he was rescued by members of Death Watch, the group that lived on the moon. We know this because of the patches on their armor. So even then, they must have been telling their foundlings that mandalore is a cursed world. Because at this point, the constant wars have turned the world into a desert.
So remember, the armorer has told Djinn that he is no longer a mandalorian because he removed his helmet. [clip]. In the leaked trailer, the armorer said ‘what’s worse, you removed it of your own free will. Which is very interesting. Like, if you lost your helmet in combat, then maybe it’s not so bad, and you can say a few hail Tarre Vizslas and be done with it.
The armorer says [what's worse is you did this of your own free will]. Which is very interesting. Like, if you lost your helmet in combat, then maybe it’s not so bad, and you can say a few hail Tarre Vizslas and be done with it.
The important thing is that Din no longer considers himself a mandalorian, not until he stones.
Doug: He has meddled with the primal forces of nature!
Undone integration
Next shot shows Din’s N-1 Starfighter entering the atmosphere of a planet, then exploring a cavern with Gorgu. I love that his hover pod now has a little light on it, so he can help explore. Only a matter of time before that thing is equipped with blasters, and baby yoda can go ham on button mashing like it’s an arcade machine of street fighter 2.
The armorer reminds us [not possible since the destruction of our homeworld]. So this is setting up how Djinn’s quest is going to fold into the quest of Bo katan.
Very brief backstory on her. She was once a member of Death watch, the group on the moon that saved Din Jarin as a child.
Doug: But wait, she doesn’t believe that you gotta keep your helmet on.
Yeah, which makes me think that Death watch is actually an enormous group that has its own divisions. After the war mongering mandalorians were exiled to concordia, all of them started wearing the death watch symbol. Film & Animation

we are very sad to hear that Doug is no longer going to be on the channel :( he is so cute and funny
Mando USED to hate droids. His whole arc in the first season was going from shooting an IG unit in the head to letting that IG unit nurse his child, heal his head wound and save the town by sacrificing itself. He doesn't mind droids now.
iirc, those were also the words ash bungled in army of darkness when he grabbed the necronomicon...
Are you not going to do rick and morty any more?
I hope Doug starts his own channel. I always got the impression Ryan was holding him back. I look forward ot seeing Doug unleashed.
@Daevion Hill fr
@GamerSniffles 🇨🇦 nobody wants that annoying dog
@Daevion Hill it is the truth
I would subscribe to Doug unleashed.
@Elysia Brenner he said he is staying after he was given the watch
Can we just give a HUGE thank you to Jon Favreau ? The guy took a character completely unrelated to the main series and made him an icon AND gave fans what they wanted AND manage to tie ALL parts of Star Wars together
@christian schmidt Iron Man 2 was heavily retconned by Studio interference. That's why he left and they got Shane Black to do IM3
Totally agree
@Oryx The Taken King Agreed. I was really looking for Boba Fett in his own story.
@Schäfer G. I did. And I did also watch the lion King (2019). Favreau is a good director. This doesn't mean his track record is untouchable
@christian schmidt "Go watch Iron man 2" ummm did you watch Iron Man? Elf? Chef? All great movies. He also single handily revived Star Wars, and not the cartoon crap doesn't count. Ppl also praise Dave but that idiot has no restraints in he's fan fantasy. Jon has actually manage to provided a great show WHILE tying all ends of Star Wars AND giving us major fan service
I love how Greef Karga's robes grow proportionate to his stateliness with each season. I predict that by season 4, he'll just be a huge pile of beautiful cloth.
...and an afro 🙂
Mando is actually ok with droids. After IG-11’s sacrifice he’s softened his stance on droids and in season 2 he let droids work on the razorcrest
As well as in Mando season 2.5 (boba fett) he says "hello friend" to R2-D2
In season 2 he still seemed hesitant about letting the droids work on his ship, and I feel it had alot to do with his bond with Peli as well.
@Backroad Junkie Facts, RIP IG-11 and Kuiil… I have spoken.
It was IG-11 that turned him around. IG saved not only Mando, but Grogu as well.
(Kuiil probably had a lot to do with that...)
Mando is going to need the droid to help navigate to Mandalore.
I hope Doug isn't actually leaving, he's grown on me.
Not me lol like cmon man just get on with the breakdown already
Doug’s a good boi and needs tummy rubs
@Ernie lastname yeah, missed that...I guess I am not alone in skipping the endorsements LOL
Doug's decision was 'undone' by the batman watch.
I almost rage quit when Doug threatened retirement. So glad he's staying. It was all just a gimmick to sell watches.
What was your biggest expectation from D23?
Mandorian S3
A Doug prequel movie
Your Mom
Mandalorian S3! Also Ahsoka show!
This cannot be the end of Doug.
Ive never watched this chaneel and i was like "who is doug" 😭😭 "what episode did i miss of mando" 🤣
hopefully it is
Comfortable.. comfortable.. comfortable doug
Somehow Doug has returned
I’m not going anywhere.
What did you think of the trailer?
Beautiful. The amount of territory it looks like they will try to cover narratively in this season justifies the use of another series to tell so many important parts of this saga. You had to get past the replacement of the Razorcrest and return of Grogu somewhere in order to have room for everything else they're going to take on.
Excellent
Better than the Doug news 😔
It was promising. This is the way.
It was epic. This is the way
Noooooo Doug can't retire!!! 🤣 Absolutely love seeing him in videos. His commentary always puts a smile on my face😁👍
How my heart ached when Doug said he was retiring…. So glad he’s here to stay. His “I didn’t come here to make friends” quote from a recent video, is my favorite quote of the year. Great recap of the history.
Dude. I couldn't follow a thing after Doug said he was leaving. I was too heartbroken. Thank you for changing your mind Mr. Manager.
I'm here for this show 100%. Mando doesn't disappoint.
Droid needs to be used in Jin's new starfighter to calculate light speed travel, which was pointed out in the trailer as well
@𝚆𝝣𝕊 𝙽𝐢𝕔𝚑𝜙𝚕 idk if his is functional, but the N-1s did have hyperdrive engines
@𝚆𝝣𝕊 𝙽𝐢𝕔𝚑𝜙𝚕 not yet, but the trailer implies he will add one on, hence the droid for hyperspace computations on the fly
Good point, does Dins have a hyperdrive?
I agree with you. Some of the best things about Star Wars is the politics behind the scenes. I wanna see the infighting and strategy of the leaders on mandalore and the rise of the first order
Where they show Bo-Katan on the throne and in that window shot on Mandalore, she's in the capital Sundari. And if the banner isn't from the Owls it's more likely the sigil of House Kryze. But the throne that Satine and Maul sat on during their reign over Mandalore was in its capital and much of the bombed local mirrors Sundari. Also, I think word got around about Moff Gideon's defeat and the Darksaber's return to Mandalore if Djin didn't send out the call to all Mandalorians. Because whenever a Mandalore calls, all Mandalorians always harken to the call. And though a few of the helm facial slits are that of the Owls moreso than "female helmets" I say that because Darth Revan's mask/helmet belonged to a female Mandalorian and it looks different than the male Mandalorians over the years. But those Mandalorians flanking where ever Djin was coming from, they were in a defensive position like how Grand Admiral Thrawn's Death Troopers flanked him wherever he went. Bo ever since avenging her sister and helping Sabine and the Ghost crew out, she's been trying to correct her mistake and earn the right to rule. It's said that the Darksaber becomes heavier if the person wielding it doesn't have the Mandalorian people best interest at heart. Maul stopped using it after he tried to run away from Mandalore and let his people i.e Mandalorians die just so he could live. Sabine didn't want the Darksaber nor the responsibility and until she came to terms with facing her past and wanting to help her people, the blade was heavy. Kinda lime Captain America trying to lift Thor's hammer. Djin tried to give the Darksaber away after winning it in combat, so while using it he struggled. Now with him in exile, in a sense, trying to atone for removing his helmet, but also helping Boba, he now has the Mando people interest to look out for and lead. He has his adoptive son again, helped out his Mandalorian brother on Mos Espa and now it's time to lead the rest of the Mandalorians.
In the Aftermath book series, Admiral Sloane discovers there are 25,000 ISDs missing from the Imperial Registry. Palpatine was sending resources to the Unknown Regions as early as the waning days of TCW. When I saw the TROS trailer, I immediately thought, "Oh there's those missing ISDs.". It was cool they included a detail like that from the books in the movies.
Yeah, you and no one else
This is the best of all the Star Wars Disney shows. Hands down. I'm super excited. I love the Mandalorian.
About adding R5-D4, the trailer makes a point of showing Din and Grogu jumping to light speed explaining "are you ready for an adventure?" It might be that the "curse"of Mandalore involves the dangerous condition it has been left in and could include circumstances that make it a dangerous system to jump to. Such a jump might require modifications to the N-1 performed by Babu Frikk and in-flight calculations performed by R5 to execute.
If Doug ends up leaving, I will miss him, but I hope he stays
Looking forward to to this next season and you guys at ScreenCrush explaining how even more awesome it is.
Doug better not be retiring. Hes the best part of the channel
I think it's the other way around. The covert's mandalorians don't wear a singular color on their armor, we saw in season 1 that they didn't bring importance to a color to identify themselves. They aren't a clan that's been around for generations (I think it's the remnants of Maul's shadow collective), their instead a recently formed group who are traditionalists. I think that the mandalorians that are on Navarro ARE Bo-Katan's group, because they wear the blue armor and death watch crest that would have belonged to the group that rebelled against Maul's leadership. I think Maul's side of the war became the children of the watch, and Bo-Katan's rebels became the group we see on Navarro
I think the Death watch members that raised Din Djarin are the ones that followed Maul, The Armorer has horns on her helmet like the Mauldalorians did
Yes, we know.
The knight owls have special visors. So you’re probably right when you called the colorful ones the traditional mandalorians. I really want to see the acolytes which is the group of mandalorians that almost whiled out death watch. They wore the armor and had the rule of needing to always be ready for a fight and have one piece of armor on.
Just so everyone knows it’s already out there in the comics how the Sith Eternal Fleet was built and how those super lasers came to be. Palps was already preparing this way before his first fall on Exegol. Exegol contains a vast underground factory of old ship building ‘forges’ which btw were automated as well. He modernized them and started this fleets’ construction probably around the middle of the Galactic Emperial Reign. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gideon known about all this considering Palps brought a lot of his higher ups there over the course. And on Exegol there use to be a giant mountain sized Kyber which he exploited to build those lasers.
Bloodline was indeed awesome. Also details the rise of the Resistance as well. We also learn how Mon Mothma went too hard on decentralization and demilitarization after the Empire was defeated creating power vacuums for organized criminals or warlords to exploit. The New Republic became too hands off and this led to the Centrists wanting a stronger government that would intervene. Elements in this group also took advantage and encouraged more attacks/piracy so it would sway opinion against the New Republic and these guys were the ones to eventually form the First Order with the Imperial Remnant.
I kind of hope we get a cameo from Iden Verso played by Janina Gavankar who at this point is freelancing to support the New Republic.
This wasn't mentioned, but the ship on approach to the blown out dome on Mandalore isn't Din's N-1, it's a Mandalorian starfighter, probably Bo-Katan's. The ones chasing Din look more like a version of the R-41 Starchasers, closer to the ship Torra Doza flies in Resistance. It's not that, but close. Probably some planetary patrol craft.
Tbh that’s one of the biggest reasons I think Andor is gonna be an amazing series, not only does it have actions sequences, different settings (not the same exact ILM stage used for every show so far), but it also gives us a chance to see the politics that goes on, the sneakiness, the backstabbing, etc. I personally love that kinda stuff! I’m excited to see what the future for Star Wars has to offer!
This comment aged well
Imagine a Star Wars show with game of thrones level of politics and schemes. That would be S tier.
I'm just hoping this is the season that will either confirm, or deny that the Armorer is Rook Kast. Who was Mauls second in command.
I have been saying this, I agree 100%!
Please don’t quit Doug. You need to keep Ryan in line and on task!
Do you know where it would have been great to learn about The First Order? At any point during those three movies they made about it
Two things I noticed
1. Bo-Katan's viewfinder is now on her left side of her helmet instead of the right. Is there an explanation for this?
2. In the courtyard Mando shoot out, Paz is visible in the background of the left side of the screen. Then is appears that Bo-Katan and Mando lower down into frame. So I speculate that both helmet removing and non helmet removing Mandos will "team up" to take on the Remnant Imps.
Think he plays the videos flipped due to copyright stuff
I think the heraldry in Bo-Katan's little palace is probably her clan or the house named for it. House/Clan Kryze. We saw Clan Kryze in Rebels and they all had gray/white/blue as their colors. Just something to think about.
I was actually so worried Doug was seriously retiring. He is such an essential part of the Ryan Arey experience. Love you two!
EDIT: Also, for the love of all rainbows, can we please get these guys a color interpreter? Those Niktos were both literally the same exact color and I can't stop laughing at Ryan calling one green and one red. Lmao maybe the left one could be orange and the right one yellow, but they're both just kind of beige! Not that it matters, just poking fun!
I was just thinking about what the next season would be like and it met my expectations.
Your breakdowns are the best and so are you Ryan.
And Doug
I was just saying how much I loved how involved Doug has been getting! I love him asking questions and high fiving 😭. You scared me! ❤
I'm definitely looks forward for season 3.
Not removing your helmet may not be an ancient tradition, but it’s definitely an easy way to build back up your numbers quickly recruiting outside your species/race.
Actually mandalorians (the race) are ancient at this point, they have been known for being different species for a long time, the tradition of keeping the helmet on comes from when their ruler would keep the helmet on always to give the illusion that they lived on forever
Yeah, no. It’s ancient tradition. It was once part of Mandalorian warrior culture at its core. As the Mandalorians incorporated with the rest of the Galaxy they found they had to abandon some of those ideals, like the part about removing your helmet. However, some sects believed this was sacrilege and went against tradition and vowed to keep tradition alive.
It’s meant to be allegorical for how conservatism can sometimes become toxic, that progression as a culture isn’t always a bad thing, and that it’s necessary for unity to prevail over division.
I am so very excited for Season 3 of Mandalorian. I am very excited for this.
It looks like dr Pershing is walking along side that girl, who was one of the imperial commanders for Mof, Gideon. If you zoom in you can sort of see her face, we never knew of her faith at the last episode of season two. I wonder if she’s breaking him out. I don’t know if anybody else noticed that.
Bring on S3 of Mando; it'sgoing to epic!
My favorite clip, which you didn't mention, is Bo-katan telling to Grogu saying, "What? You thought your Dad was the only Mandalorian."
11:44 this is most likely a flashback (you know how star wars loves a flashback) same with 12:18 its probably where they find mando as a child and then we get flashbacks of him growing up within them
I think Moff Gideon is going to clone a dark Grogu creature. It will be like a force sensitive Gremlin who uses the force to spread mischief and misadventure across the galaxy.
Honestly been waiting for season 3 since the Book of Boba ended
Wouldn't it be nice if they just followed each other week after week
I am very excited about this, Willow, and the Acolyte.
I’m so deep into this golden age of Star Wars nerdery that I’ll watch a 16 minute video about a 2 minute trailer…and like it!
Not me RUNNING to the comment to check if Doug was leaving for real! 😭😭😭
I really hope Doug isn’t leaving
You and your breakdowns are the best on the platform Ryan, thank you as always!!
Anticipation for new content and surprise reveals are everything that makes the new era of Star Wars great
Love Doug's Saga deep-cut reference. Little dude knows his stuff. Now when are we gonna get a live-action movie/series for that amazing story?!?
Anything John and Dave Filoni is going to be awesome, period. These guys know how to tell a story and put it on screen.Cant wait.
This is why The Mandalorian is such a great show: they respect the previous material, like The Clone Wars, as opposed to Obi-Wan Kenobi in which the actor that portrays the Grand Inquisitor said in a late night show that he decided not to watch any of the Grand Inquisitor material prior to his performance - that is why that character sucked in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The fact that screen crash doesn’t have merch with Ryan as Mando and Doug as baby Grogu in the travel pod is beyond me. Ryan, a suggestion like this is what sets you apart! Might help you get to the assistant assistant manager
Thanks for all the hard work, Doug! You had a great run and we'll miss you!
I have been bleh about Star Wars for the last few months - maybe more - and this trailer pulled me fully back in. So good.
I remember in the 70s when A New Hope was advertised. I was the most excited about a movie, and have never been much more excited...until the Mandalorian. I am beyond excited and embarrassed (almost) that I am anticipating a TV show THIS much. I cannot wait!
@WitchDoc I would have known. 🤣
@Greg R Ok, so if I said "Star Wars" would you know what I was talking about? Could be a toy, could be a comic... come on man, play nice.
It wasn't advertised as "A New Hope".
It looked like the Mandos air dropping in were dropping into Navarro, you could see the yellow banners on the sides of the buildings which were the same when Greef met Mando. If that is the case, perhaps Mando recieved a message from Greef Karga asking for help against this "new" group presuring the city to take it over, for whatever purpose.
Mando comes to help with his new found followers and clears up the problem for Greef. Navarro gives a glorious fan fair or fireworks as he leaves. One scene also looks like the IG88 status is missing from the down square, possibly destroyed.
Another heroic deed by Din Jarin, and his legend among the Mandorlians continues to grow.
One of my most favorite Starwars live action scenes was when the Mandalorian & the Mechanic put together his new ship - The Naboo fighter with 'Hot Rod' parts. When I listened & read the Darth Plagueis Novel (non-cannon now) it explains how overbuilt, advanced & how expensive the N1 Star Fighter truly was. Not to mention the "DeLorean' brushed metal Chromuim paintjob. I can't wait to see more of this ship. Also love the fact that Grogu has his own cockpit Dome where a Droid used to occupy. So cool & my most favorite ship by far. I would say my second is Kylo Rens "Tie Whisper
@Esther Adam When I Google it said Tie Whisperer. Anyway its pretty awesome. What are other peoples favorites? I would be curious to know so I can Geek out & look them up ;)
The Silencer?
The cursed Part about Mandalore could be related to the Beskar attacking weapon sabine wren build, i think they called mandalore curesed in this context during Rebels
Re: The group of colorful armor weariing Mandos that Din walks through. I don't think they are Night Owls, I think they are Din's new clan that he is forming out of other outcast Mandos or children of outcast Mandos (aka Boba and others) probably with a side of Mandos from dead clans and a few from other clans who decide to follow the Darksaber's weilder. After all the Children of the Watch are the only Mandos who care about him removing his helmet, to any others he is a Mandalorian who won the blade in combat and won a challenge for it, ie the rightful ruler of Mandalore.
I do hope they aren't going to turn Bo Katan into Anakin here and make her a full on villain, but I won't say I hate the idea, I just don't want her to fall like Anakin.
In the book from my certain point of view R2D2 tried to savage R 4-D 5 to make sure that he got out of the barge, At 1st R 4-D 5 said no said no because he called R2 but then at the last minute he purposely blew his motivatorAllowing R2 to get off and essentially the job was just let him roll away because they thought he was broken
I'm a huge Babu Frik fan too, but I'm not quite sure the Anzellan featured in the trailer is him. He looks a little older than Babu looked in TROS, and Babu would be a little younger here. I did see in the leaked Celebration trailer there were a group of Anzellan droid techs so maybe our boy Babu was one of them, who knows...
I hope we get to see Sabine
Please keep Doug in EVERY video he’s a legend and staple of your videos ❤️
Din Djarin may not have been rescued by Death Watch. That symbol on their pauldron (which is a stylized shriek-hawk) was for clan Vizsla if I remember correctly. It was associated with Death Watch because of Pre Vizsla (leader of both clan Vizsla and Death Watch) but they aren’t necessarily the same thing.
You are correct! It is not Death Watch but Children of the Watch which is a clan that broke off of Death Watch and became very cult like. So all members of Children of the Watch are members of Death Watch but not all Members of Death Watch are Children of the watch.
@Topaz Nnani I remember that scene in Mando when you finally see him being rescued and there’s a clean shot of the pauldron with the shriek-hawk symbol and my very first reaction was “No way! It’s Death Watch!”
@John Taylor Death Watch members adopted the shriek hawk sigil because they were aligned with clan Vizsla. Like Ursa Wren was Clan Wren but she wore the night owls sigil back during the clone wars after splitting from death watch.
Also you are right, not all Viszla members were death watch. I remember in Rebels that clan Vizsla actually sided with Bo Katan after Sabine gave her the darksaber. But it most definetly was Death Watch that saved Din.
@Topaz Nnani Except Death Watch was made up of multiple clans. So a clan within a clan? Plus they are specifically defined as a “Mandalorian terrorist splinter group of warriors”, not a clan. You could say their loyalty to Death Watch was similar to the loyalty to their clan, but that just proves Mandalorians are loyal to the things they place value in and enjoy membership in, whether that is a clan or not.
Clearly you don't understand Mandalorians and their deep sense of loyalty. It actually WAS the same thing. If your clan was Death Watch, you were Death Watch.
Doug is my favorite part of the review Season 3 is going to be amazing!!!!! Thanks ✌️💥💥💥
The new more colorful Mandalorians are a reference to the Lego Mandalorian battle pack that came out a while back.
Couldn’t the imperial star destroyers be the long lost fleet of Thrawn? It would set up the Ashoka series pretty well wouldn’t it?
Working Theory. The cloner from kamino is brought back into the story because for some reason mando is in danger of dying and the only way to save him is for grogu to give him his medachlorians (idk how to spell it). Grogu sacrifices himself for mando who then becomes the second ever mandalorian force users who becomes their leader.
Ive been waiting anxiously to see new season 3.😁😄 love STAR WARS
Fantastic trailer, look forward to the next season
to be honest I hope that this show stays clear of the sequel trilogy and doesn't try and tie into it at all. Make it the start of a branching timeline or something, but It will really take away from the show if they keep trying to tie it into something lesser than it. I know that's wishful thinking but, I can dream.
I'll make my suggestion about the nature of Mandalorians and the question of helmets.
There are two sorts of Mandalorians: original descendants of the people of Mandalore, and foundlings. Foundlings can be any race or species. Din Djarin is a foundling, Bo Katan is a descendant of Mandalore. The Death Watch took in Din Djarin, as they have other foundlings, and gave him a clear instruction that they never reveal themselves, even to other Mandalorians. The Armourer has made disparaging remarks about Bo Katan, and her and her pure descent.
A Mandalorian doesn't take off their helmet because to do so would be to create a two tiered society, one of pure bred Madalorians versus foundlings. With an obvious answer to which is the ruling class. Whilst everyone is anonymous, everyone is just a Mandalorian. Bo Katan sees herself as above this, because she is a pure blood. She believes this gives her the right to rule. Basically the whole story arc is running with a very long game (no surprises they would do this) which IMHO will eventually turn into a pure blood versus foundling question. This may provide the background for her split with the Death Watch.
I'm going to bet that the Armourer will eventually be revealed, and she will not be human.
I cant believe Doug was thinking of leaving 😞
I wonder if they’re gonna feature the Mandalorians that sided with the Empire during Rebels at all.
I love how you guys keep looking for clues and Easter eggs for things that aren’t there!
The real question is how excited are we? You cant not be excited for the Mandalorian. This is the way
Mandalore can’t have been both ‘decimated’ and ‘completely destroyed’ 🤔
You are technically correct... the best kind of correct 🙂
Wonder how is his Armorer and where did the beskar come from? Could Gideon be a secret Mandolorian?
Definitely okay with Disney just pretending the trilogy was just a nightmare of Luke’s, and didn’t actually happen. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to watching season 3 of The Mandalorian. Also, as a side note ‘Tales Of The Jedi’ looks interesting too.
Not gonna happen, buddy. Be ready to watch the first order in this amazing show!
Also sequels >>>>> prequels
Please don’t quit, Doug! He’s my favorite and quite frankly very needed to break up some of the info
Sooo if they clone palatine that means he never thought to teach Darth maul the art of "time travel"(which he tried before cut down) essentially never dying cause he's always connected thru the force. And only person to master that was Darth plagias and that was palatine lord before he "killed" him and which we see return of that again with the newer episodes only say that because very close looking to what we see in the comics and books
Asoka mentioned grand admiral thrawn... any thoughts about his presence in this show?
Could Christopher Lloyd be a Mandalorian Grail Knight like in Indiana Jones?
No one talking about a potential appearance of Sabine? Is her fate known?
Technically, the darksaber was won by Palpatine in TCW season 5
I got nervous when Doug said he was leaving. I was afraid of the real world implications. Like there might be something wrong. I lost my dog almost two weeks ago. So I'm a little sensitive to sweet puppies these days.
Please do not retire Doug, we have grown quite fond of him. Love ya Doug! 🐶
There was a Lego Star Wars battle pack of Mando’s and the colorful mandos look VERY similar to them. That would be a cool Easter egg
They make a great double act. Doug, you will be missed. Maybe some future guest appearances are in order.
Ooh! Just spotted - when you show the clip of the Mandalorians 'saluting' - look at the shoulder armour of the one in the middle of the screen... it is the blue and white insignia armour of a Shore Trooper Commando, as seen in Rogue One!
Sooooo looking forward to season 3
12:35 that's not a ladle it's a shoulder pauldron and it's being quenched. you were right about it cooling the metal though. In metallurgy, quenching is most commonly used to harden steel by inducing a martensite transformation (a polymorphic transformation in which a change in the relative arrangement of atoms or molecules making up a crystal takes place by their ordered displacement, with the position changes of neighboring atoms being small relative to their interatomic distance), where the steel must be rapidly cooled through its eutectoid point, the temperature at which austenite becomes unstable.
The new symbol is the house Katan and when they return to Mandalore from the moon they will be the Settlers of Katan.
