I am Mr Lightness And Emissions.
its not Nissan engine?
Heartbreaking my dude @tavarish
yellow fits it
LT6 it.
Man… I felt the pain when we blew up the lemons BMW engine our first race… I can’t even imagine this. Idk how you hold your composure Freddy!
I remember when you blew the M54 in the lemons car. I started paying more careful attention to my M54 after that
Revenue from views you know all about it Chris don’t give us that 😂
I thought the same thing. I would have cried through every pore of my body
lol.. like giving billgates 10$
It seems McLarens fulfilll every cliche of British cars. Total grenades.
We need to see Kevin on the channel more often.
He seems like a genuinely nice guy while being very honest and very entertaining
For Tavarish's sake, hopefully Kevin won't be back on the channel every 1500 miles lol XD
What happened to the other guy, Jared?
@sjørøverpirat he has his own channel. Look up "The questionable garage" previously wrench every day.
@Bearded Frog in Tavarish case only around the corner of his garage haha he didnt got far after 3 years of rebuilding...i felt a bit bad for him when the engine blew up
Shout out to all of Tavarish's friends who spend time with him to help him get through the rough times. Awesome video can't wait for more!
Which rough times?
@Kampf0r right when you can laugh at a blown engine you dont have many rough time. I blew the engine in my civic and it ruined my month
Kevin is a absolute gem...love his attitude and charisma. Bring him back Freddie!
Great to have you back and I also just wanted to say you are an absolute legend for letting Matt rebuild his Porsche in your shop.
I love how you don't get upset AT ALL. Is that confidence that you know you can just rebuild and keep going?
Congratulations on the P1. It is going to be an amazing adventure.
No, it's not coinfidence than he knows he can rebuild it. It's coinfidence he has more money to spend.
@Alejandro Pérez more that he can make videos about it.
@deth you can make videos and make no money out of them.
He has confidence because he is rich.
@Alejandro Pérez so you are saying that he makes no money from sponsors and youtube?
🤡
@Alejandro Pérez Well Mclaren itself had quite a bit of trouble getting those nissan engines reliable. And those are modified nissan race engines. To think Tavarish can improve on that is ridiculous. With enough money and time i suppose you can but Mclaren struggled for years. Makes for entertaining content that's for sure.
Awesome to see you back, gotta say you and Matt together are "the dream team" just seems your personalities mesh together perfectly in front of the camera, as far as the McLaren goes oh well you have 34 other cars right! looking forward to see some of the projects underway getting completed.
I know everyone else has been saying it but so glad to see you back here! I'm also hoping all is well with you and that things continue to get better. Clip-Share is definitely a better place when a Tavarish video releases for sure!
I can't believe how happy this man even when his pride and joy is pretty much fucked up! you are truly inspirational brother so glad to see your back and doing what you loved
Freddy, I watched every episode of your build and I am so impressed at the quality of labor and materials you put in this car and I am so sorry the engine blew up. You are quite a class act! I look forward to see the engine rebuild videos.
🚀🚀Let’s talk…..
Freddy it has been amazing to see you back making content. I felt like a large part of Clip-Share has been missing and I think I can speak for everyone when I say that. Wrench everyday
Ahhhh. So nice to see Tavarish back in his element. On a mission to fix really cool, really broken stuff. You look good dude. Hope you’re feeling good and can find a pace that really allows you to do what you love without sacrificing your health. Best of luck with everything, and thanks for still making videos. Was happy to see this one pop up.
Anyone else catch the Easter egg yellow McClaren split second frame at the end of the video?
@ARTICLE7ENT he shows it on matt Armstrongs latest upload
@ARTICLE7ENT I believe that's the hurricane-flooded P1.
Freddie, you're just crazy my man! I love it and I hope you continue to give us great content. I've been a subscriber since the truck build and I hope everything good comes your way.
I want to thank you Tavarish for your videos. I've learned a lot, albeit at your expense. I've also learned, from this video in particular, that not all vehicles with a lot of power might have been designed to handle that power.
I'm a new subscriber. Jumped on with the P1 rebuild and have only watched a few posts but allready I'm rooting first you. This going bang and taking on the P1 has put a lot on your plate but whoever is guiding your mental health is doing a great job. Your taking it all in your stride and are a very capable and strong fellow. Good luck with these Mclarens.
WOW.. Kevin has some real charisma and is good on camera too!
Looking forward to future episodes.
And don’t get me wrong, having this happen to your multi hundred thousand dollar car is no joke. But I’m happy it happened to you, so it gets build beter.. no, for the awesome content we as a viewer get to consume.
Thanks for being so positive and awesome all the time! 💪🏼
Freddie is handling this like a champ. I know it sucks but all things considered he's done a great job staying optimistic
Great to have you Back Freddie , loving the work your doing helping out fellow Britt Matt , my money would be on a Rod Bolt failure , as you said , no oil failure , nothing got hot , just an instant Rod failure , most likely the bolts
Ok pause the video and lets all take a second to thank Tavarish for the upload. Really great to see you even if it's this unfortunate McLarens engine factor issues. Thank you hope you read the comments we're all excited to see it built better than the white gloves though they could.
aw man, so sorry, this must be heartbreaking after you put so much time and love into it. Cant wait to see the rebuild though :) all the best!
"Block is borked" -- sounds bad. RIP Tavarish's engine.
the GOOD thing is that this sort of stuff makes excellent content on youtube. its going to be costly but he will end up making a lot of google adsense money on it.
He’s not heartbroken at all. He was laughing while he did it and is laughing now. In fact, I bet he blew it on purpose for the clicks.
Oh yeah. He wanted to do this. He purposely blew the sand cast bits so he could upgrade to forged and more boost. This is just all so predictable.
@Cathryn Mataga can confirm. Borked is never a good adjective for an engine.
It’s god to see you back Freddy-I’ve genuinely been missing you on my feed. Hope you’re on the up and up man. Sending you good vibes from the U.K. ❤
Andy 🏴🇬🇧
Love how positive you are about an issue! On occasions I get myself wrapped up in car problems and let them get to me! It’s a mechanical device and they ALL break especially when modified!!! Keep up that positive spirit!
I have loved the McLaren build from day one, and this looks exciting! Sorry you had that experience, but I am excited to see it get sorted.
Oh man....I am hurting seeing that window into the engine. Happy to see your videos bud! You ALWAYS make me smile & entertained!
Hurts to see but it will be awesome to see it back on the road with more reliability 🧡
Damon seems like such a nice guy he's so passionate about the stuff he does I'm hyped to see you two working together 🧡
is it possible to prevent these things from happening?
Great to have you back my man. I really love your contents. I got excited that you're featured in Mat's Porsche. Hope to see more videos like this. Kinda miss Jared too. Much love from the Philippines ❤❤❤
Well I guess we knew it was going to be bad with that oil slick on the ground. It's nice knowing you'll get it back on the road. Let motivation dictate when instead of worrying about constantly pushing out content. People will watch regardless of how long it takes. Hope it don't hurt too bad.💸💵💳💰
Oh boy I’m so sorry i followed your journey with this car so can understand your pain but you took it very well can’t wait to see the next version keep on posting love your content
First off I really would be interested in seeing a built bottom end for this car, second I guess the jump in Cartrek might have played a role in damaging the internals as well?
I’m hurting for you brother. Thanks for taking it like a champ and turning it into a teachable moment for everyone. Best of luck, honestly.
So glad to see you back and posting. Hope your doing well and everything will turn out ok I'm sure of that. Keep your head up and take it one day at a time.
I'd suggest looking at the top of all the pistons to see if they have signs of detonation. There's a good chance that with a poor tune or poor quality fuel, you were running within the power limits of the rods but had a detonation or a series of detonations bad enough to lead to that damage. If that's the case, even with forged internals, you could potentially melt a valve or crack a ring land down the road
Oh damn! I'm shocked they used cast parts! Sorry this happened to you Freddy. Hats off to you for keeping your cool on this. So....LS swap?
Sorry to see this Tavarish and hopefully you can work your magic here and get it back on the road with some successful youtubes to show us how you do it. Looking forward to these and roll with the punches buddy. Its only a car albeit a very expensive one.
Tavarish is such a nice man. Blew his motor but still kept high spirits
Hope all is well man. Appreciate the hard work you put in your videos.
cant be too sad when your building one of the most famous flooded P1s
Nice to see you back 👊 loving the content with Matt Savage and can't wait to see some more content from your good self
Absolutely Heart Wrenching, and a very important lesson for us on over loading the power.
Sreten is class act, an approachable expert, and a likable guy. I wish him continued success.
Great to see you Freddie. Wish it was under cheaper circumstances. All the best mate 👍
That is devastating dude, I am not even old enough to drive a car but seeing the engine blow made me so sad, he is really good at hiding his emotions like nothing happened..
Tavarish we all have missed you and thank you for getting back on Clip-Share. I pray that you are mentally and physically doing ok. God only know what your going through and I hope your ok. I can understand maybe a little going threw a divorce as we speak and I love my wife soon to be x more then life itself. My kids are suffering also. This sucks
I was heartbroken when the car was down. But i am glad you can find the way to fix it. Looking forward to seeing this McLaren 625LT running again. Fixing it might not be too difficult but findings used parts is extreamly difficult due to rarity.
It's rare but not impossible,it's loosely a Nissan engine
Welcome back Freddie! You knock out the videos, I will watch them, click the like button and even let the adds run. Hopefully this will help fund your shinny new engine. Good luck mate.
You are the warranty! Total bummer, but full confidence you get this back together. Looking forward to the re-rebuild.
I expected the internals in this engine to be a lot stronger than what you said. I'm always learning something
It's nice to hear Ricardo did a good job with the engine. My uncle is one of the lead engineers in the Gearbox department. Used to be all over the world testing different projects.
Nice! I work for Ricardo at the moment but not in Performance Products who manufacture all of the McLaren engines.
The P1 has to be the worse kept secret EVER 😂
Yeah dude.
did he get the flooded p1? lmao
He let the cat outta the bag on TST like 2 months ago
@xuaxace Yep
I wonder if Steve Morris would help you build it back up better than ever? He seems to be a pretty great engine builder, and an all together good guy. It would be awesome to see.
Probably not
Since parts are quite rare for the McLaren on the aftermarket
@Realtime1501 Billet all the things :P
I resisted watching this video since I knew how much blood, sweat and tears went into this project and it was such a sweet ride as well an impressive rebuild.
You know Tyler Hoover would LS swap it lol. Man I cannot believe how well you took this. Can't wait to watch the rebuild.
This had to be residual damage from the original accident. Super brutal. On second thought.... there being a tune. That makes a lot of sense as well. But, I wouldn't be shocked if there was some damage internally from the original accident.
Kevin was brilliant and I’m longing to see more from this collaboration 🤩👌
Really sucks that this happened. But I'm glad you're still in good spirits. You'll definitely fix it bro! If you end up getting a salvaged engine I think you should take it apart and rebuild it yourself. I think it would be great content
It's a sports car. Shouldn't throw rods
I think great content is the biggest issue for him. Yea, it sucks to have a project fail, yea, it's fun driving it but, when it fails, it's just like starting a new project with a bunch of great content.
@shananagans5 there's 'project' and then there's '$100,000 engine swap'
Glad your back, this is gonna be an amazing rebuild.
Good luck
The lesson here is that a finely tuned thoroughbred engine is designed to be as light as it can be and just strong enough for the power it achieves, you cannot just wack to huge turbo's on it like it's some cast iron American boat anchor and floor it. Here endeth the lesson ;) great content though and look forward to watching the rebuild.
Gutted for you. Subscribed and will watch everything. I want all of our views to generate enough $ for you so we all get to watch you fix this.
We are so happy to have you back. I hope your feeling better. We all struggle pal you just got to get back up. Your mental health is more important than these videos. Thank you.
Your patience, demeanour and general can-do positive attitude is incredible! Wishing you ALL the best
Really sorry to hear about the engine, but glad to hear that you most likely will repair it because its one of the most beautiful Mclarens out there. And I look forward to see what you will have next!
By repair you mean he'll get a new engine
21:32 pause it and see whats on that trailer
I love your videos, man! Thank you for helping Mat, so I was able to find your channel! You are so humble! Keep going! Thank you!
Your sense of humour is off the roof, when the guys where pushing you making that sound .
Much respect from me.
I'm pretty impressed how excited you are looking at the hole 😄 If it happens to me, I would sit in the corner and cry in tears
I did it to my 69 wildcat. Blew two rods apart at about the same time. Gonna break it atleast make them question how
I don’t know how Tavarish was so calm like that’s heart wrenching
Good seeing you again Freddy. Sorry for the McLaren, bit you’ll get that running again. Hope to see you do this
KEVIN has a dynamite personality. What a character! Can't wait to see more of him in this project.
Thx
@Kevin Perron Yeah the right guy you need for this, man what a mission but he is right what an opportunity to make it stronger, better, faster.
Yo Tavarish , love to see you back up and on the go again pal, missed your content, lets see where the Mclaren goes from here, super stoked
I love that Tavarish was optimistic enough to think that block was even remotely salvageable for longer than 2 seconds when he looked in that hole.
Rebuild inspection: “So did you leave the socket in there on purpose orr…?”
Just WOW! I remember dealing with stuff like that at Votech but to see a loose socket on the floor pan by the obliterated rod of a 675 LT McLaren definitely made the hair stand up on my back 😂
Sorry for your loss brother. Love the T shirt. Derek is a crackup. as well as a for real mechanic. Get well soon!
🚀🚀Let’s talk……
You got this Tavarish! Wishing you all the best with rebuilding the 675. ❤
This is going to make a good watch really looking forward to watching this build maybe matt can smuggle some parts on plane for you 😅 all the best to you from uk 👍
So glad you're back! One of the only channels I watch on YT ♥️
I see why you didn't make a video for a year more. This is super stressful bro! I'm here for you, at for this Tavarish!🎉😂
Great to see your content again, i look forward to this engine build.
Ventilated engine blocks are the new thing! Very cutting-edge Tavarish!
I'm so sorry that this happened 😢
But you are Tavarish, I've been on the chanel for a long time and I know that you always find a solution to improve the car 👍
You are doing an AMAZING job man 😄
Looking forward for your next video 👌
*Sorry for my English it's my second language 😅
Your English is perfectly fine,bro
I would seriouly look into saving that block. i wouldn't be surprised if you can resleave and weld up some damage then put new internals in like you would do anyway if you did a stroker kit on a new one. blocks are pretty tough units sometimes and its possible you got lucky and there isn't a window in it.
Hope things are going well and you're feeling good Freddie!
So nice to see you back 🤞for some regular uploads and hope your doing well and in a better place
I think you should install a tow bar while you are at it. That would make it unique!
I had the same thing happen to my 2001 trans am and I was absolutely devestated…. I can’t imagine it happening to that caliber of car. I’m sorry man. And mannnn am I amazed how well you are taking it.
Always enjoy your videos! Keep grindin’
Good to see u back Tavarish really missed Ur content keep up the awesome videos buddy
Your attitude towards this entire veritable engine explosion is amazing.
Freddy T. Keep up the good work. Enjoy doing the re build. Cheers for the content I love the good sport on your description of what happened.
Wow quite the destruction!
Great to see content hope your doing ok 👌🏻 and dang sorry this happened 😢
eagerly been awaiting this update. I can't wait to see the engine teardown!
I know it is not your style or way of doing things on your channel. But either Sheepy or Gintani can help you with both all the right parts and knowledge to build a over the top reliable 600-700hp engine for the car. It sure deserves the best of the best with all it has been through and with everything you have achieved with it 😊
Hope your're doing fine man... after your video recently my mind has constantly been with you
Freddie welcome back and it nice to see you back to yourself again, i an deeply sorry about the 675LT mate.
and the Deepest of thanks for looking after and putting up with Matt and his Dad at least you have a laugh with them and loads of cups of Tea..
The Best of Luck with the P1 as well if you need specs hit me up
I know I’m a little late to the party, but it’s F’N GREAT to see you again man. We all love you and got your back!
Damon is like: Welcome to the club
Hahahahah 😂 so true LoL 😅
The " windows carved in the side of the bloc..." club 😅
@dailydrivenexotics
Cool
Plot twist. Tavarish bought the DDE 720 GTR for the engine/turbos/peripherals.
Just subscribed. This guy blows up a car like this and never stopped smiling what a guy
Freddie, I really appreciate your attitude on this whole debacle. A lot of people would be crying and whining, "Oh, poor me, my car is ruined." Instead you smile, make the plans, maybe tighten your belt a little bit, and begin the reconstruction. It puts me in mind of something my mother-in-law once said: "A problem that can be fixed with money isn't a real problem."
Surprised that the engine had less than 100 HP headroom. Impressive engineering for an engine to be designed to be just enough to survive reliably.
That intro is heartbreaking, walking out and seeing the oil trail must have sucked. 😅
Great to see ya back Freddy……simple minded question, could the launch off of the hill in car trek jarred something loose??…..great video..
Definitely hurts to see the extent of the damage! Sadly won't see the McLaren for awhile but looking forward to what's next :)
