i think i speak for most of us when this show started out as a fun-easy watch drying quarantine. it wasn’t too serious and was just enjoyable. now it’s turning into a REALLY well put together series! i hope they keep making more seasons, because the storylines keep getting more serious and better.

Have you guys noticed in every season we get to dive deeper into the back story of one of the main characters, and discover/explore the looming treasure that is related to their ancestry. Seems like this season might be Kiera’s turn to hunt for her treasure.

It seemed like it was actually more like Sarahs, i came back here after i watched it and i noticed it was mostly about Sarah with everything that happened like with her dad but i feel like they did a mix of everything and everyone in each ep of season 3.

A series that excels in every way and that has everything anyone would ever expect from a great series. 🌟No other show has ever had me this intrigued by the plot and characters. It made me reflect on the impact of every decision we make, what our drives say about us, whether conscious or unconscious, how our background shapes us in more ways than we can ever imagine, and how situations and events transform us, even if it's just for a few moments.

It's a series about a group of friends who are willing to risk their life for one another. Who stop to think about how they will help their friends in all and through all. Who are simply always there.
It's a series about love, hate, atonement, rejection, dilemma, choosing which side are you on, friendship, survival, anger, relationships, battling our darkest side, family, revenge, social division, treasure, and change of heart. Well done to everyone involved in making this happen!

All I'm saying is I liked JJ being "under duress" a lot when he met some treasure hunters back at Lana, because of course he'd be and, yes, his mild panic attack deserved a full funny scene! And then, by the end of season 2, we were pirates taking a cargo ship like it was an habit for years, after escaping death multiple times making any statistical calculating completly insinificant... So, what's next? I was fine with robbing Barry, fistfighting Rafe, rediscovering local attractions, dealing childhood trauma with Luke, fishing on the HMS Pogue and partying, really. I was fine with multiple small realistic plots, on the Outer Banks. There's so much they could tell! I really hated the whole Bahamas scenes in season 2, like a freaking lot, made me hate John B/Sarah, because it was too much and I guess it's hard to act when it's just so... Out of it. 🫠 Like we're surviving hurricanes and getting shot in the same week, but JJ didn't make out with one girl yet since season 1? loll, just kiddin rn, but still; not beliveable lol Give him some, poor thing, he's not that of a good boy for sure, don't think he'd be saving himself for Kie all that time. Anyway

I get that it's a teen show, but the first season was so rich; the environnement, the based characters... There's so much to do without involving nation treasors and destiny quests or any other irrealistic things, like they're all the key to a big secret... Anyway, we'll see, but I feel like this show is going to end up like the Fast and Furious movies serie, you know? I'd hate it.
I think it’s going to be over packed with to much action an drama to show a decent story line and be enjoyable they don’t have big enough budget to fully pull off good paced tv series which will be disappointing! I don’t like tv shows that have no breathing room however we shall see 🤷🏻♀️🤞

I love the attention the production gave to JJ's details in season 1 especially; his clothes are all stained, distressed, dirty, wornup, because Luke doesn't do laundry, doesn't care to buy new things to JJ, he only cares about the bottle and the blow... The only clean clothes JJ has are work clothes from the Marina. I really love this character, he is a gem; so torn between his father's path, what's in his blood, and what he actually want to be but just can't be... The layers of trauma on this one, the fact that he'll never be whole because of what Luke did to him, the years of abuse... He is a beautiful mess, and we are all rooting for his reckless ass! Keep doing a great job with this character, he's carrying the whole show...
I'm sad Luke's gone this season. The JJ-Luke dynamic was really keeping us on the edge while still being so beliveable... Gary Weeks and Rudy Pankow are such great actors, so well casted! They look so much alike, and seeing Luke sometimes acts, the little things like drumming on Kiara's seats and all, I could see where JJ got his attitude from... I hope we get to see him again, see how this very complex relation can evolve, and peek at more of JJ's background. Let's go to Yucatan, fudge the treasure hunt.

Even after just finishing season 3, I love coming back to rewatch this trailer cause I just love the use of Sloop John B and as a big Beach Boys fan, this song really fits the mood of the show!
This show is so fun. There are some stuff in the writing that could've been better but I can forgive a lot of them because: The setting and atmosphere is so good, there's bits of dialogue that are so realistic between friends it feels like they're not even shooting a movie (writing is superb there) and it's just an interesting story all around!
After watching this season this trailer really showed the hype. I am so happy there is going to be another season because this show is getting better every season.
Beautiful! Perfect! These are just some of the words I could use to describe this TV series. Each season brings something new and exciting without breaking the core vibe set by the first season. Amazing chemistry between the actors. Also, kudos to the entire crew behind the cameras who really did a perfect job. I'm looking forward to season 4 and I hope this series gets the ending it deserves. Rating 10/10.

Because most of them think they don't deserved the love you give them, and love how they know: violent outbursts, most of the time. Doesn't mean they're bad or don't love back, it's just not a simple kind of relationship most of the time, but hey, we'll see. JJ might just learn from what he was dealing with and act upon... He does seem to be that way with the Pogues, I guess?
@C.D. eh...I feel a little differently. I don’t think you need to have loads of toxic drama for the romance to be passionate and interesting to watch personally. I actually think that’s lazy writing if that’s the only way you know how to build tension + passion between characters
Finally, JJ's gonna get some. But I feel it just can't go smoothly... I want a rocky, messed up and full of passion. But, also, a slow burner. If that makes sense 😅

What I really like about this series is how, beneath the summer vibes and the feeling of adventure, at it's core it's all about relationships, especially the ones the protagonists have with their parents. You can see how the parents are prejudiced, having lived so long in a system that radically differentiates between rich and poor, and by repeating the same stereotypes over and over again, shaping the minds of their kids. Not all of them are as irresponsible as John Bs dad, but they all are flawed one way or the other. Thats what they pass down to the next generation. I think that's part of what makes the series so compelling, because seeing all of those teenagers trying to navigate between learned and lived concepts of rich-poor, reliable-irresponsible, good-bad, etc. makes things believable. And you realize how hard it sometimes is for them to challenge those beliefs, see Ki and JJ. It also ensures that the more irrational and extreme behaviour of some characters can be traced back to a starting point. The antagonists don't just pop out of nowhere.

This is the best show on Netflix. I saw a list of the 10 best shows on Netflix and this wasn’t on it….the perfect cast of young adult actors/actresses, exciting heists, romance that ropes you in, light comedy that doesn’t try to hard, perfect amount of action/fights, I mean the list goes on…not to mention sexy ass girls 😂…the writing and suspense in this show is phenomenal I hope they max at least 6 seasons I could watch this every week and not get bored…we’ll maybe not every week 😂 love it though please don’t cancel it like y’all did the society

This season looks to far surpass all of my expectations. I have been anxiously awaiting this season, though with cautious optimism. Seeing as how the longer a show goes on it runs the risk of degrading over time, or loses sight of what originally made it captivating. I was nervous that this season might start to lose the magic and the heart, that I originally fell in love with. However, after watching this trailer, I believe that this season will not disappoint!
